LOTV Balloon Basket..

Image- Balloon Basket from LOTV.

Papers- DCWV Nursery Baby Girl 8x8 pack.

Good Morning all!!

It's Friday and ya'll know how much I love a Friday! Scott is off work and Mo is at college which means we get a mini date day (...at home due to lockdown but I'll still take it!!). The weather looks very much like it might rain today so I think it will just be a chilling together kind of day but still so lovely.

This mornings share is a card I made in February but I haven't popped on my blog yet so I thought Friday cuteness would be just perfect! I used my stamp for this but I've linked the digital version that is available now for you all.

The papers are golden oldies from my DCWV Nursery baby girl pad....I actually don't know how I am going to feel when these run out, I don't know if they do it anymore!

Right, time for me to scoot! before we take Mo to college we have that wonderful job of scraping out the wheelie bin bottom from being emptied yesterday. I have decided I am going to pop a wheelie bin bag in it from now on to try and stop it happening because it's just gross when they've emptied it and it's all stuck on the bottom still!! lol!!!

Huge Friday hugs, Lou xxxx

Masked Munchkins from Tiddly Inks!

Image- Masked Munchkins from Tiddly Inks.

Good Morning all!

Another week nearly nipped me by without a little bit of blogging!! but today I just couldn't resist sharing my little Tiddly Inks skunk with you! he is just the cutest!!

The I love you paper is a retired paper from Tiddly Inks too and the black and white ones are from my ermmmmm, not sure what they were drawer!! romfl!!!

Of course a little die cutting and Lou froo was also required!

So, how are you all this week? Mo has his last 2 days at college this week before Easter break and we are still quite locked down here in the UK so there is not really much to do. It feels very groundhog day-ish here!

Right, I need to get my 'drive the small to college' head on! I'd rather sit and colour the Edwin and Tin Tin magnolia stamp scene I have made than go out though!! he he!!!

Have a fabulous day everyone, huge hugs Lou xxx

A little make for me!!

Papers- Echo Park Witches and Wizards pack 1.

Good Morning all!

Well my not so little guy is still fast asleep after a bit of a marathon Agatha Christie read on his kindle last night. He is on Murder on the orient express. He has seen the film at least 12 times but decided he rather needed to read the real thing too! with charity bookshops being closed he hasn't been able to buy any more of the 'real' thing so resorting to Kindle has happened a lot recently!!

I thought whilst he is still snoring away I would have a cuppa and 5 mins to write a blog post and share the journal I made for myself last week with you. It's soooooo good to make yourself something now and again and I loved making this.

I have to say I am finding distress ink colouring so relaxing. I think it is definitely going to be the way forward for me in colouring. I just need to start looking for a better laser printer I think. My Epson workforce died on me last year and I replaced it with a canon but I do miss that watertight durabrite ink my workforce smashed out so much. For now, I am using Scott's cheap little Brother laser printer so it's not all bad!

To keep my journal papers and image all nice and safe I gave it a good old spray with satin sealer. There's nothing sadder than getting a splodge of tea on your lovely work and it running is there? ...not that I can pre-empt my utter clumsiness at all......bwah ha ha ha ha!!!!

Right, time to sneak in another cuppa before Captain was small but not so small comes down the stairs!!! Thank you so much for nipping in! Huge hugs, Lou xxx

Tilda with a cosy heart...

Image- Tilda with cosy heart from Magnolia stamps.
Coloured with Distress Markers.

Morning everyone!

How are you all today? Great I hope. Today I am sharing my Mother's Day card for my wonderful MIL. I do so love a 3D card and the lawn fawn scalloped box card pop up is just perfect for the job.

I added a rectangle of card to make an image piece for the back so I could have the little Tilda just as I wanted her. A little bit of Lou froo and she was all ready to go.

And this is my Little Mo (actually probably not so little now!! he is 16 now!!) with the fruit pie he made for his cookery course. He made this yesterday knowing Mother's Day was coming and said he wanted to put his own twist on the lattice top and boy oh boy did he do a super job! it looked so pretty. He 'painted' the heart and rose with some food colour gel mixed in milk! what a star!! Here it is before it went in the oven. Look at all those little hearts!!!

And it was absolutely delicious!! He flavoured the apple inside with a little ginger, sugar and butter. It was so warming with melty pastry, anyone want to nibble a bit through the screen?!!!

And today I was given a beautiful little hanging decoration for my gift, it's soooo cute! The stone is one of his polished stones from his rock tumbler.

Right, time for a walk with my gorgeous boys and pawsy peeps. Thank you for nipping in! Hugs Lou xxx

Bee Mine Love Bug from Tiddly Inks...

Image- Bee Mine Love Bug from Tiddly Inks.

Morning everyone!

Oooooh 3 days in a row! she's on a roll! but seriously, I couldn't miss sharing this little  Bee Mine Love Bug from Tiddly Inks, she's just too sweet not to blog!

I coloured her up with my distress ink markers. Her yellows are wild honey, browns are Ground Espresso and her skin is Vintage Photo and Tattered Rose.I used Antique Linen and Tea Dye for her hair.

That gorgeous buzzy bee paper is also from Tiddly Inks but it's a golden oldie from the old store before the Etsy store days so I'm not sure it's available anymore.

I had some perfect little seed beads in my tin on my storage wall and I thought they would make the sweetest drips of honey in the honeycombs so of course, they had to be glued on right away! they do look so sweet though!

Right, time to get myself into gear! I have a small dude to awaken for college and then I need to nip to B&M when I've dropped him off to get some cake making bits for my BF's eldest daughters birthday cake (yup...I still love giving cakes for presents!!!)

Thank you for popping in! huge hugs Lou xxx

A little LOTV elephant cuteness!!

Stamp- an oldie from LOTV but you can get it in digital format now

Scruffy Edward.

Good Morning all!

Well,I've made it to my keyboard again to share another little cutie with you that I made this last weekend for my friends little girl, Nellie. They call her Nelliephant so I just knew it needed to be an elephant stamp to use and I had my super cute LOTV baby elephant! wahooooooooo!!

I coloured her up with my Distress Markers, I used Pumice stone, Tattered Rose, Victorian Velvet and Aged Mahogony. Then I couldn't resist adding a teeny little pink thread bow because I had seen a sneak preview of Nellie doing a cake smash and she had a gorgeous bow in her hair!

I added a little glossy accents to the balloon to make it all shiny. I was so pleased with it.

Mo is at college today so I will be keeping myself busy. I actually have DOMS to the max today after starting working out again on Tuesday (you know, the kind where you get half way down to sit on the loo and kind of plummet the rest of the way because ooooooowies!!!) so the first thing I am going to do is find myself a lovely Pilates video to stretch myself out to!!

Thank you all so very much for the lovely welcome back to my bloggyland! It made my day to read all your lovely comments.

See you soon, Lou xxx

Little Fairy Maxi from Mo's Digital Pencil.

Coloured with Distress Ink Markers.
Hello all!!

Well, it's definitely been a long time since I popped in on my blog...so long, in fact, that it has done some updates and now writing my post feel rather foreign to what I can remember it looking like and it's taken me a hot minute to work out all these whizzy new icons up there!!!

We have been busy in our little Daubney world. Little Mo has grown (....like a weed, he is taller than me now and I am the official tiny person in the family!!!) He has settled nicely at college, going a whole year early and is hoping to move onto a Level 1 Animal Management course in September. They have been amazing during covid and he has still been going as normal for his 2 days each week. He also did amazing in his exams, he has now got a 9,9 in Combined Science (double award), a 6 in English Language and a 5 in Math (which he chose foundation level and 5 was the highest grade you could get). We are soooo proud of him. At the moment he is really enjoying doing an NCFE Level 2 Cookery Course for his home learning on a Monday and Tuesday too so he is keeping himself nice and busy.

I lost my card making mojo for a little spell, then I got it back but had lost the blogging mojo so after a walk in the sunshine this morning and a cuppa I decided to take the blogging bull by the horns and get back to it!! I'm so pleased I did.

And onto my card for today! I actually made this over a month ago now but she is way too cute not to make my first post back with! this is Little Fairy Maxi. She will be coming to Mo's Digital Pencil really soon but I am lucky enough to be a member over on Mo's Digital Pencil Patreon Page. I coloured her up with my distress ink markers (my newest way to colour and I am loving it!!).Then of course, added some Lou froo and she was done! but seriously, how cute is she???!!

I'm going to enter the challenge over at Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge Blog because I haven't entered a gorgeous challenge in so long.

Right, time for another cuppa. The sun has actually come out here today and the garden looks so pretty with some sun shining down on it for a change! Thank you so much for popping in, I hope you got in here ok through the spider webs and tumbleweeds!!

Much love, Lou xxxx
