LOTV challenge 84- sketch by dawny.

Me again!!!!
Well when I saw Dawny p's yummy sketch on the Lili of the valley challenge blog I just had to get straight on with my entry so here it is!!! If you want to see the yummy sketch and all the team LOTV's gorgeous cards you will have to womble over to their challenge blog!!! it is most definately worth a huge visit!!
So for my challenge card I used my gorgeous little Riding my bike  stamp. He got inked up quicker than a flash in rich cocoa memento ink  fora soft look and splodged down onto my paper for a good colouring with my promarkers and some frayed burlap distressing!! I was thinking muddy boys and all that!!!!
He is sitting on some very gorgeous, stroke only basic grey papers that have been nestled quietly in my paper cupboard for a long time!! I thought the bike paper was just perfect to go with him!!
The sentiment is LOTV too and came in the A5 set when I bought them from the LOTV stand at doncasters stamp magic last year.
Well, I promise I am going this time!!! its ben a bit of a boy cards day for me today!!! lol!!! ( scroll down for my Tiddly Inks Gamer boy card I posted earlier!!)
Off to feed the hungry little mo now who has informed me he is ...." so hungry that his little tummy is talking to me and says I need food mummy"!! romfl!!!
Huge hugs

A night with my big sis and scorch!!!

Morning peeps!!!
Oh I had such a fun night last night catching up with my big sister. We haven't seen each other in at least a month to have some fun in my crafty garage so I was really pleased to get some big sis crafty time!!
( ....actually most of it involves us being very silly and daft and making each other laugh!!!! but we actually made something last night!!!!!)

So last night we made a card each with Scorch . Isn't he fab!!!!!! it has been so long since I had coloured in and played with one of my big sister's images but this super cute little guy was just calling to me!!!! We both had the same ingredients sketch wise for our base so check out sam's blog to see what she did with hers!!! (...... lou makes note to poke big sister with stick and get her to post hers too,she has an older scorch card on there but its not the one she made last night...poke...poke....poke!!!!)

All I need now is for the sun to come out so I can take a better picture than this one but being as it is still dark here this is the best I could do this morning!! :)

Today is just a vegging out and playing day here today so I am really looking forward to that.
Have a super saturday peeps and don't forget today is the last day to join in with the  magnolia blog candy, kindly donated by Alicraft,on my blog, the winner will be up tomorrow (...says Lou hoping she is up in time to draw the winner on time, if not it will be a little later than 6am as our human alarm clock, little mo, has been getting up a little later!!!)

Have a fabby saturday peeps

My january scrap page!!!

Hello peeps!! I know.....another 2 postings day!!! (scroll down or hit older post to see my craft the year away post!!)
Being a bit pants at it, I made myself a promise to do at least one scrapbook page a month this year and this is my January one!!
Scott took this picture of little Mo on the rock wall last summer and after stroking my basic grey archaic papers once again I decided I really should open the cellophane wrapper and use them!!
I glued a lot of string onto this one to represent the rope that helped mo to stay safe on the wall!.
Here's a bit of a close up so you can see the fabby  You Rock image from Tiddly Inks. I thought he was just perfect for this layout..

Yup, I know I have a long way to go in the world of learning scrapbooking but I am hoping if I do one a month I will look back next January and think Hey, I'm getting the hang of this!!!! :)
Off to pop in jacket tates now because I have crafty night with my big sis tonight and I can't wait!! she will be here in around an hour so I am going to get a bath now and get my comfy clothes on ( ...ack, who am I kidding, all my friends know that means pj's!!!)
