Morning peeps!!!
Well, we got up at 5am this morning. It is forecast rain but so far we have beautiful sunshine so I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will last a little while longer!! I have a few cards I need to take piccies of so yey for sunshine!!
I was playing around with paper last night (....like I always do!!!) and had these cute papers left over from another project. They are from my Dreams Come True papercraft factory cd from Funky Hand. I love this particular colourway, it is called Blue Magic ( oh and I love the way all the papers from it go together...I am pants at matching papers up!!!!) and you can never have enough blue papers with a house full of boys!!!!
The cute little boy image is Ticket to my Life....of course.... from Tiddly inks!!!! He is inspired by the grandson of my very special friend Shirley. He is so cute. I edited his ticket a little so that it would fit in with my fathers day card making frenzy I am having at the minute!!!
I am popping him in for the challenge over on the Do it with Digi's challenge blog whose challenge this week is "All about boys". I have never seen this challenge blog before but it looks awesome and being as I digi an awful lot I will definitely be popping back in on them!! Please pop over and check out their DT's lovely cards.

This card is another one for Gabby's wedding thanks!! she popped a last minute request in for her grandma who made the bridesmaids dresses and again, Tiddly Inks came to my rescue!!!I  teamed it up with a few papers from my Nitwits FBQ bear necessities download. It is sooo cute!!

Image- Sew some Love from Tiddly Inks.

Wedding cake baker thankyou card!

Image-Big Wishes Lilly Bean from Tiddly Inks.
Papers- Craft The Year Away from Funky Hand.
Oval stamp set and punches from SU.
Martha Stewart doily hearts edge punch.

Morning peeps!!
After a fab little get together party for a friend who is off to work in a children's day camp over on the big side of the pond this Friday and a bit of bowling with family yesterday morning, I got some time in my crafty room last night to pootle on with some card orders I have got.
This one is a card for Gabby's wedding again, it is for Gabby's sister who has been busying away making gabby and Andrew's wedding cake.
I used big wishes Lilly Bean and edited out her candles for a smooth wedding cake top!!! there are teeny dots of pink glaze pen on the black punched edge but it hasn't come up too well at all in the picture.
I had to start again on one of my god daughter cards as the blooming anita's glaze would not dry, grrrrrr (...to be fair it was an old bottle but still grrrrrr!!) I couldn't rescue it as the glossy was on the wings! arghhh!! so that is tonight's job...along with a few more!!!!!!! oh busy me!!!

Right then, best kick myself into gear and get a wriggle on. Mo fancies pasta for his pack up today so I am off to cook that in a little vegetable stock and then get myself sorted!!!
huge monday hugs!

Kenny K's Krafty Girls Die cuts and punches challenge.

Morning peeps!!!

Its a super gloomy morning here with grey skies and rain (...hence the rather pants piccie of my racy roxie!!!!). I am hoping for lovely sunshine this afternoon so I can click a better picture outside!!

The challenge over on KKKG this week is Die cuts and punches , fab because I had this card to finish off for one of the girls at work. Its for her boyfriend's birthday and he loves his car so I decided Racy Roxie was a must!!!

I coloured her up with red hair so she looks like Amy ( the girl at work who wanted the card!) and then cut Dane's name on my cricut with my base camp cart. The sweet border is my Martha Stewart heart doily punch. I did a couple of layers of the hearts and then added a thin red organza ribbon and a heart charm.

The black cardstock is embossed with my tiny hearts cuttlebug embossing folder, it looks so cool.Roxie's hair has some gentle gold highlights in to bling her up a bit and her clothes and shoes have some sparkle too but I am not sure the icky photo taken inside shows it up, Grrrrrr rain!!!!

So I think that's me done for today. I have a whole day at work today so won't have any crafty time again until tonight, I have a couple more thank yous to do for gabby, some thankyous/thinking of yous for Leah and a pear wedding card for Carrie so I am hoping I don't nod off with little Mo tonight!!!!

Have a fabulous monday peeps!! see you all later

Tanker meets a Sense of Time!!

 Morning peeps!!!

How are you all today? good I hope. I am feeling a bit brighter today and have managed to get myself out into my craft room for a bit of finishing off!!!
I made a topper with a SU Sense of Time stamp set that my lovely friend Hev lent me (....ermmmmm, and it decided it wanted to stay at my house on an extended vacation so I owe Hev some pennies now!! romfl!!!) and I knew when I was making it that I wanted to pop Tanker from Tiddly Inks on it.

I only got round to getting my Tanker image yesterday as I have been poorly for a couple of days. Last night whilst scott and I were watching the Eurovision song contest (...yup I know its a little pants but I love listening to the commentators, I miss Terry Wogan but Graeme Norton did an awesome job and had me rolling with laughter!!) I coloured her up. Now I don't know why but she really reminds me of Amelia Earhart!!! its those cool goggles I think!!!
Anyhow, she got the brown's treatment to match my stamping of the Sense of Time set onto my creamy cardstock. I used Frayed burlap for all the stamping and antique Linen and frayed burlap to distress it all. On the little clock face you can just about make out the crackle glaze ( which is why I took a piccy from kind of above it!!!!)
........And get me.....I even did inside too!!!! wooohoooo Me!!!! lol :)
So Tankers promarkers were.....
Tan, sandstone, caramel, cocoa and burnt sienna. With a teeny touch of sakura clear star gelly roll pen on her eyebrows, bullet belt and boots.

She is such a cool girl!! so I am popping her in the challenge over on the Southern Girls blog which is Lets hear it for the girls.
So Hev will be pleased that I have posted my card I hope!!
I am off for a bath and a bit of breakfast now before Mo and I pootle off to my mums to plant out his strawberry plants into a strawberry pot.
Have a fabulous sunday peeps
Huge hugs Lou xxxxx

Daring Card Makers Flowers for may & Totally Gorjuss sketch challenges.

Image- Bloom Little Lilly from Tiddly Inks.
Papers- Laura Ashley.
Hello peeps!!

This week over on the Daring Card Makers challenge blog it is the first challenge of the month which is always flowers. The flowers for this month are Lily of the valley and Hawthorn. You can you either one or both.

Sadly I didn't have a hawthorn but I did have my sweet little Lilli Claire- Bloom Little Lilly from Tiddly inks so I coloured her up to play along! ( ...someone please pick Kathy up from the floor because Lou has managed to make something and enter the challenge instead of saying she will and forgetting....!!)

I colured her up and followed the sketch from the Totally Gorjuss challenge blog's sketch challenge this week, the sketch is lurvely and here it is....

So this is almost a record for me! 2 challenges in one post!!
I have, however, decided today that 2 challenges for each card will be my limit. That way I know I have done my card with both challenges in mind personally rather than throwing it in for a load of challenges and not really thinking about it twice.

Right onto getting ready for work and school. Mo left his  prized fossil at school yesterday and has been pretty distraught about it, especially after his reading book from school was about them too ( arghhhhh!) so I am hoping it is still on his teachers desk and safe for him to collect at the end of the day.
Thank you for peeking in on me.
Hugs Lou xxxxx

My Funky Fifteenth Spots and Stripes make!!!!

Hello peeps!!
Well this is a little later than planned due to Mr. Blogger eating up my scheduled post with its problems over the last day or so but better late than never here is my spots and stripes make for our Deb's Funky Fifteenth Spots and Stripes challenge this month.
There is still a day to go on it so get your Funky Hand papers out and get something made to join in for the chance to win a download from the shop.
A quick reminder that this months gorgeous rainbow stripey Get Funky! Freebie Download backing paper is still available on the funky hand website but you had best be quick as the freebie will only be available until the 14th of May as a new challenge will start on the 15th and there will be a new freebie download paper there then.

I used the extremely gorgeous January Blues colourway from the Craft The Year Away cd for my card, incorporating some of the super sweet digi stamps from the workspace on the inside too.

How fab is the workspace on the Craft The Year Away cd? and the fab news is that when you buy that one it upgrades the Dreams Come True and Colour Me Happy software too!!! Yey!!! 3 workspacesfor the price of one!!!!!

Well I had better get off now as I need to re-post my card for the the Daring cardmakers and  totally gorjuss
challenges as lovely Mr. Blogger has deleted it and my lovely comments from you all too, sob sob :(
