Saturated Canary Challenge 19- Anything Goes!!

Image- Double Take from Saturated Canary Digi's.
Afternoon Peeps!!!
When you read this I will be hard at work running around with little people!!!
Its time for a new challenge over on the Saturated Canary challenge blog and this week it is one that will be everyone's favourite as its one of my absolute favourite...
Anything Goes!!
I love an anything goes kinda challenge!! I have been loving playing with Tags recently and thus decided I needed to do a tag!!
But...man are these tags a monkey to take a picture of!!!! I think I need a taking a picture of a decorated tag tutorial!!! they are tricky!!!
Anywhoo here is a close up of Double Take, isn't she just gorgeous. I love that she could be a bride, or a bridesmaid ,or a prom queen...she's just gorgeous.
I hand stitched her little tulle skirt on. She look so much nicer IRL!! she has little glazed glitter dots in her hair and on her dress. I was in a blue hair mood too. I would so love blue hair like this but I have black hair...granted it has a lot of white in and is actually purpley colour at the moment but my dream hair colour is blue, I just love it!!

The challenge over on Cupcake Crafts Challenge which is Tags and over on Ruby's Rainbow which is Tags. This post is a scheduled one so I'll pop in and join the challenge when I get home!!!

Thank you for popping on me, and don't forget to pop in on my other gorgeous Teamies over on the Saturated Canary Challenge blog.

Little High Flyer....

Image- Little High Flyer from Cuddly Buddly
Papers- A patchwork of papers- Blue from Cuddly Buddly
Sentiment- Kims 12 Round greetings from Cuddly Buddly

Morning Peeps!!
I am getting my Fathers Day cardmaking into action now and I just had to use this cute little bear from Kim over on Cuddly Buddly. He is just so sweet snuggling his star.
I printed him out and coloured him in with my promarkers and then made him look all teddy fluffy by dabbing my blender all over him in oodles of little dots. I nestied him out using my circle nesties and scalloped circle nestie for his little base. Then I dotted all over with my white gel pen, starburst sakura pen and my blue glaze pen, along with my cool grey, pastel blue and midnight blue promarkers.
I cut out the letters for daddy with my Tim Holtz chip block border die in white so that the daddy really stands out and then added the little round sentiment down on the bottom left. The little bow was white but to make it match in I just coloured it up with my denim blue promarker!! bit of a cheat but an absolutely perfick match!!!

So today I have 2 duties!! one is breakfast buddy duty as Mo's little buddy sophia will be here at around 6:30am and then once Mo and I have dropped her off at nursery I am on Aunty Lou duty with my niece Lily-boo. I am quite excited though as I have booked Mo and Boo in to do a clay critter at our local nature park. They are going to make a bug with air drying clay and lots of natural bits like twigs, feathers etc. Mo is sooooo excited about it!!
So a good cup of tea, a bit of toast and a bloggy womble and I will be fit to go!! lol!!!
Huge hugs and thank you for popping in on me!!

Tiddly Inks challenge 88- lets celebrate fathers day!!

Image- Ricky Fishing Expert from Tiddly Inks.
Morning Peeps!!!!
yey!! its that Tiddlying time of week agaon!! wohoooo Tiddly Tuesday!!!
and  over to the Tiddly Inks challenge blog we have a new challenge for you this week and its an awesome one! the tiddly inkers want to see ...

Fathers Day...

so anything manly really to celebrate those awesome men out there.

I chose Ricky and a good old stair step card. I love this style of card and its perfect for men because you get a yummy effect without flowers!!! he he he he!!! I just added a bit of raffia, a little fishy charm and some loopy punched borders.

I made the sentiment on my pooter. Here's a little bit of a side view of the card.
Ricky is coloured up with promarkers and a touch of stardust sakura pen on his catch of the day!! I think he is just perfect for a fathers day card and he is soooooo cute. Mo was super happy when he these new ones as his Grandad gave him an old fishing rod a few weeks ago...However Mo decided that one big one was a bit silly and promptly took it apart to make 3 fishing rods.....amazing what a ball of string can do!!!!! here. He keeps them lined up on the wall incase "the weather is good for fishing"......which generally means when some leaves...sorry Fish...have plomped into his paddling pool and "need to be caught"....

I am popping Ricky in a couple of challenges too, they are....

Love to Create: Father's Day or a Special Guy in your Life
Here Come the Boys: Anything Goes

Last night Scott and I sat and watched the Royal Jubilee Concert and thoroughly enjoyed it. I found it so emotional and what I love even more is that Mo is already singing happily away to the commonwealth song by Gary Barlow and Army Wives 'Sing'. He knows how to find it on youtube and loves it!! I really rather love it too....nothing to do with Gary Barlow of course.....:)

Today we are off out to Belton House in Grantham so Mo can check out the new indoor play area they have made. He loves it at Belton House but the indoor play area only opened last week and he is rather keen to "give it a go"!!!!

So before I pootle off to make picnic lunch, don't forget to pop over to the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and check out my awesome Tiddly Inking Pals creations and then grab a manly Tiddly image and join in. You must use a Tiddly Inks image to be in with the chance to win!!

Right then!! off I pop!!! have a great day everyone and super huge hugs for popping in on me and all your lovely comments that keep me going xxxxxxxxx

The little things.....

Papers- Wishes & Kisses from Funky Hand
Hello Peeps!!
I hope you are all having a wonderful saturday. I have been busy making Mo a little base for his soldiers this morning and I wanted to share my other explosion box make with you using the new cd from FunkyHand.
I absolutely adore this explosion box template!!! it is the perfect size for tucking in 2 cute little LOTV peeps!!!
This particular one is an anniversary card for my friend to give to her hubby on their first anniversary which is on monday. Heres a few piccies!!! please excuse my classy rubber band to hold up the layers!!! romfl!!!

...and here it is all tucked up and waiting to surprise someone!!!
I am popping my little explosion box in the challenge over on Lili's Little Fairies- which is Anything Goes

Just sometimes my world jumps up and bites me hard on the butt, today was one of those days :( I was supposed to be at a BBQ today with some of my family, I was really looking forward to some family time. I suffer terribly with my nerves and a few strangers started arriving which set me on edge. I tried my best to wait until my Grandad arrived but pretty much as he did so did more strangers and I started to feel sick, then the agitated feeling started and dopey me ended up worrying, got myself all dafty Lou and we came home. I have spent my afternoon in the house  crying and would make a totally awesome panda bear should anyone need one for a zoo! so if you know anyone out there who suffers with their nerves like I do just please give them a huge hug because there are times when I just cannot fathom out why I get this way.
Tomorrow will be a better day. Thank you so much for popping in on me and reading my waffles!!
Huge hugs Lou xxxx

Little backyard general book mark!!

Image- BackYard General from Saturated Canary Digi's
Morning Peeps!!
I hope you are all ready for a fabulous friday!! My house is full of excitement as it is my birthday and Little Mo is having a little jubilee party at school this afternoon! he woke up at 4am raring to go!!!!...though it wasn't too bad as I went to bed at 7pm last night and didn't wake until 3:45am this morning!!! When I get home from work tonight we are going to order a pizza and get it delivered, which is a huge treat!!

I wanted to share the latest book mark I have made for Mo. He loves this little soldier guy as he is a big playing with his little plastic soldiers kinda guy!!! we find them 'on lookout' in all kinds of places...airing cupboard, in the garden, on my craft desk....in the crafty things I make...kinda all over really so I decided he needed a BackYard General on this one.
(Bit of a blurry piccy as he is all shiny!!!)

Last sunday I had an awesome morning with my mum and my big sister plodding around the sincerely yours craft show in Lincoln. Whilst wombling around we found an awesome decopatch stall called Farmhouse Chicken, heres their ebay store. Oh my gosh!!! the stall had loads more than there is listed in the shop at the moment, you should of seen all the awesome things you can decopatch!!! it was full of gorgeous completed projects too! anywhoo, mum got Mo a dinosaur which he has happily been pootling on with over this last week, (it still isn't finished but when it is I will post it!!!!) There is tonnes of paper left in the 5 we chose in the pack so I 'borrowed' some to make Mo a new bookmark!! I added a little strip of netting too that I coloured in to match with the same promarkers I coloured him in with.

Best of all, its all covered with the glue which gives a waterproof finish! Mo loved this one!! he loved the way the decopatch papers looked like camouflage!! He also adored the 'from' and 'to' tags I cut from my cricut basecamp cart. He always asks " where did I read from mumma?" and then follows with " and I gotto page..." then he will put his fingers in each page and see how much of a 'chunk' of book he read!!  its so funny!!

Here's a 'pens used' piccy!!!!
And talking of cute little guys...here he is in the t-shirt he made for his jubilee party today!!!
And here's a close up of the puffy painting union jack he did. It took him ages and he asked me to do the teeny bit of blue on the left top as he was scared he would go into the white!!! I love how he wrote Mo underneath it!! I pencilled on a rectangle shape and left him to it! the glittery puffy paints were so cool!! and on a cheap white t-shirt they made a super fun activity!!
Right then, thats it from me for today!! I am off to have a cuppa and get dressed ready for work.
Thank you for popping in on me.
huge hugglies

 Morning Peeps!!
wohooooooo!!! its here!! the release day for the awesome new  'Wishes &Kisses' cd rom from Funky Hand.

I know I say it everytime but oooooooh this one is amazing!! I have had so much fun playing with it this week!! there will be some more peeks of it over the weekend but today I wanted to share this explosion box. I have been pottling along doing some makes with the 'You're Engaged' colourway, its gorgeous!! Just my cup of tea with a mix of cheery colours. I LOVE that spotty rocky looking paper!! its so cute!!! think it might be my fav!!

And here's the box open...look at those cute little love birds!!! they are made from one of the aswesome digi's in the workspace. I made them a little love nest to snuggle up in and attached their heart to some acetate so it made a little arch over them. I have 2 more of these cute little boxes on the go at the moment!! its such a fabulous template, print, click, glue job done :) the 'love' 'forever' and champagne glasses are also digi's from the workspace.

And here's a close up of the little birds!! I printed them twice so I could puff out a layer with some silicone.
So...quick what you waiting for!! go order it!!! lol!!! and check out the gallery to see what my other delicious funkette buddies have been busy making too, they are awesome!! the gallery of pictures for the cd is located at the centre of its info page HERE.
Well, its a work day for me today so I had better get my butt into gear as I have a fluffy princess to walk and pack ups to make!!!

A jubilee card for my little Mo ...

Morning Peeps!
its another deliciously lovely day here in little old lincoln, there are showers forecast a little later but I don't mind them at all because we have been so spoilt by such wonderful weather this week.

My little Mo has also been having an exciting week at school, (...even thought there were the itchy scratchy days, he has had fun!!!) They have been making things and getting ready for a jubilee celebration at school on friday and each day he has come home to share what he has done and keeps telling me how excited he is for the jubilee!!! its so lovely that he feels this way so I just had to get busy on a boy themed jubilee card....and thank goodness for big sisters who can draw because a few weeks ago my big sis released her London digi's!! this little guard and his hut were in the new releases and he was just perfect. They come together so I did a little magic pen-ing in my photoshop and merged him in from of his hut.

The papers are the FBQ- Tour of London from nitwits set that Debs made me buy....romfl!! and that cute little sentiment is from a sheet with a whole lot of other sentiments made by Kim over on Cuddly Buddly. I cut it out and then added a shadow of red with my nesties. The little heart under the ribbon is a martha stewart one.

I would like to enter this little guy over on the challenge over on Dies to Die for blog- Anything Goes with a die cut.

Now super exciting news for me!!! after my little waving the flag card I shared on monday I got an email from Kim asking me to join the DT team for Cuddly Buddly!! how excited am I?!! I cannot tell you how many lovely things have happened to me over the last couple of months that are crafty related and all your awesome comments have just made me feel on top of the world so I want to thank each and every one of you for making my day everyday.
I know you will all understand when I say how much sunshine one little comment brings into our days here in blogland!!! I have made so many friends through this little bloggy of Lou waffles who I love dearly and though I may never be able to meet you all in person you are all so special to me.

Enough soppy Lou wafflies!!!! I have a cute little guys pack up to do and a summer dress to fix...yeah, the unthinkable happened and out popped something that should of stayed right in there up at the top of my dress but luckily there was no-one around to see it....I hope!!!! lol!!)

Cool Britannia!!!

Morning Peeps!!!

Phew it was a hot one yesterday!! I missed my crafty time last night because dopey one here fell asleep after Mo read me a story...romfl!!! ( yes, I am that dopey!! woke up in Mo's bed where we had both been fast asleep for 1 hr 30 mins....!!!) so I have been busy in my little crafty garage this morning making this little Wryn ( I adore her, she is most definitely a new fav!!!!) into another jubilee themed card. Luckily the girls over on the passion for promarkers blog had an inspiration photo up this morning so that kicked my colour choices into action!!

The little flag is actually cut from a sheet of wrapping paper that my mum bought me last week! it had little different sized flags all over it and they are all different patterns!! I just added a little spotty ribbon and a little starfish charm then printed out the sentiment on my pooter.

Luckily today it is a little cooler. Little Mo's reaction to his suncream is much better after a few days on piriton so I won't get to see him at lunch time for a snuggle top up today!! I have a whole bed full of ironing after the awesome drying day we had yesterday but I have shut the door on that!! romfl!!!! and I am going to have a spot of lunch and get some card orders finished.....well.....try....!!!!

Here's a little bundle of promarkers used for you.....
.....yeah ok so I admit it...I took the photo of the pens, skipped inside happily to load them on and then realised that I had taken the photo with the pens upside down...love photoshop rotate button....:) :)

So this little cutie is going to pop in on a couple of challenges today, they are....

Thank you for popping in on me.
Huge hugs Lou xxx
