Tiddly Inks challenge 92- use your favourite image!

Morning Peeps!!!
so I am a squidge late with posting my challenge make for this weeks Tiddly Inks Challenge! but this challenge was soooo hard for me!! I totally could pick a favourite since I love them all so I decided to sharinky up some of my fav Tiddly Inks stamps!!! wohooo!! and once I had finished my cute little notebook....which was going to be my only make for the challenge I couldn't stop at that so decided to take some piccies and make a lou kinda tut for you all!!!(...it took a little longer than I had planned to sort the piccies but I hope you enjoy it anyway!! he he he!!!!)

So first off, get out your super cute Tiddly stamps... I used Cute as a Bug and Friends are Flowers
Using Stazon stamp the ones you fancy using onto the rough side of your shrinkies. I use the little sheets.
Then colour them in using pencils. I used my cheap as chips watercolour pencils.
***tip***- don't press too hard with your colours as they intensify when you shrink them with your heat gun.
Cut them out. you can leave a little white edge around them if you want to or cut right up to the design edge if its bit too fiddly.
Punch little holes in your shrinkied cuties before you get your heat gun out and start heating them... I use the littlest setting on  my big bite to punch the holes...
Then before I shrink mine I like to add a little jewellery hoop to each one, its so much easier before you shrinky as they get quite thick as they shrink and its tricky with teeny things to add the hoops afterward, plus the hoops are great to hold with your tweezers when you turn on your blowy heat gun (...yep..I am one of those chicks that normally watches as your little image goes flying across the craft table when you turn on the heat gun....:) )
Here they are all shrinkied and hooped up!!!

Next I like to give them a coat of varnish to protect them a bit. I use glossy accents or my crafters companion varnish spray, today I used the spray...
 All sprayed up.....
Once they have dried you can have some real fun with them...
I altered a little pukka notepad for myself which is up at the top there^ :) and made a keyring for my gorgeous hubby who has had to put up with my big mouse teddy with my name on for the last few weeks after our old keychain broke!!!!
I hope I haven't bored you all silly with the piccies and please pop on over to the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and see what my gorgeously awesome teamies have made to help you get inspired!!!
Me and Mo are still in our PJ's so I guess we had better get dressed!! we have a long day on our own today as daddy is out on a meeting in Leicester and won't be home until 8pm at least. This morning we snuggled up and watching 'Lord of the beans' on Netflix, its a veggie tales one and its really cute!!!! sporks instead of orks!! too funny!!!
Have an awesome day everyone!! Thank you for popping in on me

Designed to color- vintage/shabby chic

Evening Peeps!!
I know 2 posts in one day again..but I just had to join in with the Designed to Color blogs fun theme week. So this is my take on vintage/shabby chic and of course a mega super cute My bite is worse than his bark from Krista had to be used, squeeeee she is just awesome because I love vampires and am just a bit twilight obsessed!!! he he he!!

She even has a little sparkley diamondy face a la sparkly edward and bella so she can be my little baby rennesmee!!!

My papers are Crab Apple to from nitwits and I added a bit of lace and some yummy roses made with my Mini Royal Roses die, it is by far one of my fav dies at the minute. The little tag is my SU teeny tags and jewellery punch.

Now, stitching let me tell ya'll about stitching! I love to stitch, all by hand because I am so pants with a sewing machine its funny!!! when I first started crafting I started out my crafting journey with cross stitch and I still find handstitching so unbelievably relaxing and I really enjoyed chilling out and stitching around this card today.

Right, I am going to pootle off now and have a nice deep bath.
Thank you so much for popping back in on me today

Cute little LOTV bear and ouchies!!!

papers- raspberry road
Hello Peeps!
well I am popping in with this post way later than I had planned because I have just spent a delightful morning in A&E!! ...one heart trace,x ray and pee in a pot later and I was diagnosed with pulling an internal chest muscle :( I can tell you all now...it blooming hurts!!!! but after my MOT at least nothing else is wrong! Dr was very nice....I must admit I was hoping for someone a bit more McDreamy but he was very friendly and said I have probably pulled this particular muscle by sneezing and while it is painful the only thing I can do is take ibuprofen. He also said I had to eat before taking each set of tablets (...this is good, I have divided the box of maltesers scott bought me in tesco to make me feel better into 3 piles for todays medication.........:)

So enough me moaning on about my ouchies!! and onto my little card for today.
I am very lucky to have totally gorgeous friends who send me totally gorgeous treats and surprises and this little guy was one such surprise from a particularly gorgeous lady, thank you xxxxxxxxxxx

He's too cute isn't he?!!! I loved playing with this little guy. I am popping this card over on the challenge on the Papertake weekly blog which is make your own. I made the flowers!

Right, I have to go do some resting now :( whilst feeling poorly last night I was also joined in my being awakeness by a load of daft and drunk partygoers who decided it would be a great idea to go for a walk down the fields next to our house at 2am this morning....after debating....LOUDLY... whether they should or not for 20 mins and trying to bang the tops off their drink bottles on my fence they finally pootled off...only to return 30 mins later....I really hope they have fabulous hangovers today!!!!

Thank you for popping in on me huge hugs Lou xxxxxx

Buzzy Buzzy Bee....

skin- blush, sunkissed pink, coral
buzzy bee outfit- caramel, cocoa and burnt sienna, pastel yellow and mustard

Morning Peeps!!
How are you all this morning? I hope you are all having a great day so far.
I am at work today so I thought I would pop in early and share my Cuddly Buddly DT post for this week....I had help this week too from a squishy little Mo (..his make is down the page a bit!!)

This super cute Buzzy Buzzy Bee is an older release from Lilyboo but she was sooo summery and cute that I couldn't resist a bit of a bee make!! I wanted too keep it kinda mono so the soft browns in the papers match the soft fuzzy browns on my little bee, then I dotted some pollen around her using the same colours and the fine tips on my promarkers.
So I told you I had help with my DT make this morning and here is my mini Cuddly Buddly DT member.......Mo!!!

Mo decided he needed to jazz up one of his picnic sandwich bags so he coloured in his bee with his whispers pens (...I LOVE how he copied mamma and did some little pollen dots, too cute!!!) He cut her out with my oval nesties and then a bigger nestie for "the blue 'boy' papers" he he he!!He loves my ATG gun so he was super happy sticking the layers together and then onto the little sandwich bag. Mumma helped him with folding it over so the fold tucks under the top of the oval nesties to hold it down!
Mo even has his little make in HERE in the Cuddly Buddly ideas gallery which he was over the moon about. He looked at it and said "oooh mumma, I have my own cuddly name stamp, I am so famous now" he he he he!! I love that about Mo!!! he always says that if they pick up something with a photo of him in when Anice from Funky Hand is on C&C!! its so cute!!

So a couple of challenges I would love to enter with Buzzy Buzzy Bee are....

Ok, got to go get me ready for work!! Thank you for popping in on me!

Sugar bowl challenge 88- summertime and a sketch!

Stamp- Spread Your Wings from Funky Kits
papers- A portfolio of papers in Ochre from Cuddly Buddly

Evening Peeps!!!
I am popping in with a late share tonight!! I have had an awesome day today. I dropped off a box of cards to my mum on sunday morning for her and dad to take out to the pub with them (...my craft room was getting over run with lou makes!!!) and she rang first thing this morning to say they had all gone and could I send some more please!!!!
I was so so excited because things have been tighter then my size 14 jeans this week penny wise and our fridge and cupboards were close to the state of old mother hubbards cupboards!! he he he!! so Mo and I went out to get some shopping and met scott for lunch then home for more playing!! a perfect day really!!
Now I just need my cards on ebay to sell so I can buy a new kettle! mine died yesterday but its not been too bad as its been so hot today that I only wanted my morning cuppa so I resorted to the saucepan of water on the hob idea. Mo stood watching what I was doing for a few minutes and then said..

"wow mummy, its just like when you were little in the olden days boiling your water in the pan"....

I had to laugh at him! he's so cute!!! so anyway tonight I decided to get out some stamps and have a go at the gorgeous sketch over on the Sugar Bowl challenge blog...
Challenge 88 (Summertime)
It was such a yummy sketch I couldn't resist so the card at the top was made for the summertime theme but I loved the sketch sooo much I had to make another one!! he he he!!! and I was in a distress ink kinda mood so there's not much colouring on it really, more a mono kinda feel to it.....
Stamp- Luv A Latte from Funky Kits
Papers-Sugar and spice vintage impressions from cuddly Buddly

I also want to say a huge thank you to the 3 peeps who emailed me yesterday to say my comments box wasn't playing for them, I have changed it back to a pop up box now so hopefully it will play nicely now!!!! :)

Thank you so much for popping back in on me! twice on one day again!!

Squeeeee...Tiddly Inks new digital releases.....

Image- Magda and Sparkles
Morning Peeps!!!
Now I am quite aware that over the last couple of weeks I have been doing a lot of 'squeeeeing' but there is another large 'squeeee' from me today!!!! :) Anyone who knows me will know that I completely adore anything fantasy and my fav films include Labyrinth,Legend and Krull. I just love anything magical!!! and its an awesome Tiddly tuesday because its the release day for the absolutely gorgeous new 'Fantasy Friends' from Christy...
..... and oh my gosh will you love them!! I have been absolutely desperate to show you some sneaky peeks of them!!! I was going to do one card a day like I did for the new clear stamps last week but I was way too excited so you get a few today...then i can make some more for later in the week!!!  :)
for my Magda and sparkles card at the top I used one of Christy's awesome papers called Rainbow Forest. I use this paper all the time! its so bright and cheery. Sparkles got a good old coat of ...well....sparkles!!! magda got funky hair and I even made some flowers from blue organza ribbon!! can you tell how much I love these images yet :)
Next we have Mystria....
 Image- Mystria

I merged her onto Brave paper. I loved the blue of the bottles so she got mysterious blue hair. This was my first real play with pleats in dresses too. I have this gorgeous friend Alyce who is wizard with pleating on images (...actually she is wizard with any form of colouring, she's awesome so please pop into her blog and swoooooon along with me :) The scroll is my magnolia scroll and the little 'drink me' sentiment is made with the alpha set on the 'Steam funk' download from Funky Hand.
Then we have Magda.....

Image- Magda

I just adore her little fairy friend!!!! Actually I just absolutely love them all!

Today Mo and I are meeting Daddy for lunch. We have Mo's little breakfast buddy coming in a couple of minutes and we are going to walk her to nursery, we are taking Holly too so she has had a nice walk before it gets too warm, and then we are going to have a bit of a play before we leave...Lego is on the cards this morning and Mo has already made 2 rather fabulous rocket ships for us to make a space base with!!!
This is a good idea for me as yesterday I thought it would be a good idea to clean out my cupboards in the kitchen while Mo was still busy with soldiers and potions in the paddling pool....I managed to break on of my ornaments from the top of the cupboards where I display them and almost miss Mo's hair appointment...there proof that cleaning is bad for you :) :) mwah ha ha ha!!!!!!

Thank you so much for popping in on me!...now go see what the other Tiddly Gals have been making for the release over on Christy's blog!!!

FAS challenge 29.

papers from Craft the Year Away

Helllooooo!! I'm back again!!!

so its time for a new challenge over on the Fetch a Sketch challenge blog, but before I go any further I just want to thank you all for your lovely comments and entries on my first  sketch. I was so nervous and you all made my day with your kind words and stunning creations ,mwah, mwah xxxxx

So, this time our gorgeously gorgeous Jenny has designed the sketch for us and here it is...

Remember that you can flip the sketch, rotate the sketch, resize it and make any type of project you like with it - as long as we can see the original sketch in your creation we'll be happy!
We have two sponsors for this challenge - A Day For Daisies is offering a $12 gift certificate to one lucky winner to spend in the store!
And Funky Hand is offering a download of the winners choice from the store!

I used the little winter fairy for my card. I distressed up my card base a lot...it was white and far too perfick so I distressed it with some tattered rose and tea dye distress inks and  also gave it a good old rub with my fine ball embosser, a bit of squigglying and squishing into my foam mat and it was much better!!! then when I cut my little butterfly memory box border die I inked around them too. I added some of the yummy Funky Hand paper to the inside too so that it shows through the butterflies when the card is shut but  it was tricky to get a piccy of it doing that so I hope you can see through the butterflies ok!!!

Right, back to making potions for little soldiers in the paddling pool now.....:)

I treasure this little guy sooo much so today I am soaking up the mo time!!

Its also my turn to poston the Get Funky challenge blog with my make for our Jackie's 'Just A Number' challenge for this month. I printed out this months awesome freebie....

onto some thin paper and then ripped it all up into little pieces. Then out came my little paper mache piggy and the decopatch glue and lots of sticky gluey fun later number pig was finished! I got you something....

Afternoon Peeps!!
Its been a really beautiful day here today, sunshiney and warm, so we have made the most of it and had a big play outside (..mo is still out there with his little buddies in the paddling pool!!) and had a yummy mini BBQ (....poundshop disposable BBQ's rock!!!). There's nothing quite like sitting outside with your family in the sun and having fun (...and the hum in the air of everybody mowing their lawn before it rains again!!!!) and I have even had time to get a bit of a make in!!!

I thought I would share my cuddly buddly DT make for the week today!! I used the little 'I got something for you' elfy guy for the first make and I had a play with the little Dancing Fairy and Full Moon background earlier in the week too!! here she is....
The papers on this one are from Hearts and Flowers download from Funky Hand.

And I couldn't end my bloggy post without sharing this beautiful picture that Mo brought home with him in his 'bundle a la end of term' . I know I am a daft mummy but this is just so cute!! Mo informs us " I did this a long long time ago in May"....well time just does go so fast!!! he he he he!!! it is, in Mo's words..." a truly awesome magical fish surrounded by magical weeds and he has airbubbles too" (....also whilst reading the description please picture a little mo swiping his hand in the air in a rainbow motion whilst saying 'truly awesome' a bit slower than the rest of the sentence!!!!!)
so here it is.....
cuuuuute!!!
it even comes complete with selotape on the middle of it where I was told...
"mmmm... I didn't quite concentrate on that bit mummy and when I looked down he was in half but Mrs. Neal used her powers to put him back together"
ahhhh, fabby TA!!! Mo will miss both his teacher and his TA greatly next year, he has loved them to bits this year.

Right I am off out to stalk the icecream man now, recently due to all the poopey rain, I think he has given up the idea of selling them as he hasn't been for weeks!!!!

thank you so much for popping in on me today!! I hope you have all had awesome saturday's too.
