Tiddly Inks challenge 98- Thanks.....

Morning Peeps!!

Its Tiddly Tuesday!! yey! y'all know how much I love Tiddly Tuesdays.... it means its time for an exciting new challenge over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and 2 gorgeous new releases in the Tiddly Inks shop too!! super yey!!!!

Awwww I adore them both...and I even linkied them into the shop for you...I love how enabling...thoughtful I am...;)

So on to the new challenge! I loved this weeks because the challenge is.....

With Gratitude/ Thanks

squee! I love Thank you cards, they just make people smile and I love to make people smile. I used the awesome new Wryn and Wren image for this card (...because dopey brain here had written the wrong date down for the challenge in my 'lets be organised 'note pad...no sure its working too well ....!!)

The sentiment is a play on words with 'so,so' swapped out for the 'cocoa' as she is holding a yummy mug of drinking chocolate!!

Its hard to see from the piccies but her cream is all frothy because I did it with fluffy stuff!! cute!!

The next new release Christy has this week is 'With all my heart'.......

Oh My Gosh!! how cute is that image???? I cannot tell you how excited I was when I opened it because as soon as I saw it I knew exactly what I wanted to do for Scott's birthday card!! The papers are from the Bugging Out paper set, I love this paper. I added a little sentiment in the heart using my psp program.

Scott is the big 40 tomorrow but he is very much like me and doesn't want any fuss. He really doesn't like surprises so we are just having the day together and them having a little party tea, just Scott, Mo and I. He told me that would be his perfect day so that is exactly what he is going to get.

Don't forget to pop in on all my gorgeous Tiddly Inker teamies over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog.
I am taking my ever so washed out little guy to the shop to buy some ingredients for us to make Daddy's birthday cake, we are going for chocolate and cherry cake (.... 2 of Scott's favourites!) and Mo has his heart set on getting some of those sparkly candles to go on top.
There was no way I was taking him off to school when he looked as worn out from his sickness as he did this morning, he has already planned to fall asleep on the way home from Asda's in the car...its about 8 miles away so I think he might just do that!! I just really hope I don't catch the lergy from Mo......

Right time for a snuggle with my little guy!!
Thank you for popping in on me!

The little chrimbley house on the prairie!!

 Morning again Peeps!!

I'm back  in here again with my Get Funky post to carry on with our Amanda's awesome Christmas is all about kids challenge.
In our family christmas has always been centred around the children completely, and Scott and I have carried that through into our little home too so when I saw Amanda's challenge I was so excited I got to work on a little something for my Little Mo. Each year we put a treat on his bed for him to nibble up on christmas morning when he wakes up and he loves it, he gets so excited because he knows its the only day he will get a treat before breakfast!!!

So this year I grabbed my Funky Little Christmas download and got busy on a super cute little house to pop on his bed. I love the mix of kraft feeling papers and zingy greens in this download and the little christmas tree toppers. Those toppers were too cute to use as little trees around the outside of the little house. I popped them out on foam squares, awwwwww!!!

I used one of my punches to make the cute shingles on the roof, inking each one to make it stand out and die cut 25 to pop on the door. I used a teeny brad for the door handle too.

And here's a peek inside.....
mmmmm yummy!! just perfect for a treat size bag of dairy milk buttons.
Mo loves candy canes so I tied 2 together in a heart shape and attached them to the back of the house.
Now, you still have a couple of days to join in with the challenge before it ends on the 14th november,as always our gorgeous Anice has prepared a fab funky freebie for you to use if you don't own any Funkyhand goodies. The only challenge rule is that you use at least one Funkyhand product, and the prize is any download from Funkyhand shop.

Right, I had better go get back to my poorly little squidger and get myself some porridge for breakfast, Mo has managed a little square of dried toast that he asked for so I feel a bit more settled and not so panicky mummy to get some breakfast myself now.

Huge hugs and thank you's for popping back in on me

Snowflake Fairy Princess.....

Die-namics Fishtail flags layers die.

Morning Peeps!

Here I am with a little monday morning make for you all to peeky in at!!! Little Mo has been sick over the weekend and is all snuggled up next to me now so I haven't had anything to post over the weekend but yesterday afternoon while he was a bit brighter  I pootled out to delve into my yummy new DT   box from Dies to Die For and oooooooooh is it delicious!! Unfortunately the being better didn't last for him and last night I became a very attractive knitted black dress ooking post...hair,face,dress, you name it,it was covered! (.. I think knitted black dresses should now be made with an emergency sick little mo button that I press and out comes a waterproof suit....)

I had major fun making this little cutie though, I am still pinching myself to believe I am on this little team of gorgeously talented ladies (...ermmm actually that goes for all the Dt's I am on as I just pootle about in my own little world mos of the time and can't believe people actually really do like the bits I make!)

Now I know mushrooms are out of season at christmas but awwwww these ones were so cute in the TGF Fairy Princess set that I just couldn't resist using them too!!! Once I had stamped and coloured up my little fairy I just had to make her a snowflake scene to fly in. I distressed around the edges with Tea Dye distress ink to finish it off, I love an inky edge!!

The little snowflakes are from the memory box crystalline border die and I love them. I pushed them down into my foam mat with my ball embosser to pop them up a bit and then dotted them around my stamped mat, adding a little touch of stickley magic to the centres!!!

As for my little fairy...well I just had to pop her out on an action wobble!! these things are too much fun not to share with a fairy!! he he he he!!

Promarker colours are...
skin- blush,sunkissed pink and coral.
reds- berry red, crimson and burgundy
greens- leaf green, grass and forest green
yellows- pastel yellow,sunflower and gold.
I also added a few dots of glaze pen to her top and skirt.

Thank you so much for popping in on my chrimbly fairy, I'll be back in a few hours with my Get Funky blog make so please pop back in on me again!!!
huge hugs Lou xxx

Saturated Canary challenge 30- Fairytales.

Image- Princess Snow from Saturated Canary.
Papers- We R Memory Keepers Nonsense.
Afternoon Peeps!!
How are you all today? fabby I hope.
Its time for a new challenge over on the Saturated Canary challenge blog and its Da Boss Lady setting us our challenge this time...and its a goooood one too!! it....

Fairytales!!!

ooooh I love fairy tales, mainly because I am more than happy pootled off in a world of dreams!! Luckily little Mo is still into all the disney films so I get a good daily dose of being in that happy bubble!!

I decided to have a little play with Snow, one of Krista's new releases for today. She just has this awesome whimsical look on her face so I wanted to have a play with that. I figured out my sentiment before I started my card, it just made me keep giggling throughout all my colouring and putting the card together!!!

Her shoes and apple have glossy accents on for a bit of shiney yumminess and I tried to colour her up like Snow from the Disney films, next time I am going Snow white and the huntsman!!

I loved adding the little skull!! he he he!! well it s a poison apple after all!! I am not sure about over the pond but here in the UK it is considered healthy to have '5 a day' which is in short a good old helping of fruit and veg, hence my sentiment!! I love it!!!

The font is Snow White from dafont, its a lovely one for this sort of sentiment, all lovely looking with a funny twist!!

So ya'll know my canary teamies totally rock so don't forget to get yourself peeking in on their gorgeousness over on the challenge blog.

Last night I traumatised myself with the new series of Greys Anatomy (we get it later here in the UK) and oh my gosh I have cry cry cried :( it was soooo sad.

As you read this I am at work so will catch up on you all tonight with a cuppa!
Thank you for popping in on me!

ribbon from stash
yummy gingerbread peeps from big sis!!
Morning Peeps!!
hope you are all having a great week!! this morning I am doing the normal run to wragby to have brekkie with mum and grandad and then this afternoon I am catching up with my friend Sarah and we are having cake and tea!! yummy!!

Even more exciting is that yesterday I became an Aunty again and oooooh Tyrese is just gorgeous!! I am hoping to go see him over the weekend and get you all some piccies and my little sister was a trooper. She went through an 11hr labour with just gas and aie to deliver him at a healthy wieght of 8lb12!! so a great week for me all round really!!!

Anywhoo on with my bloggy for today!!
Every year Little Mo likes to take all his class mates a christmas present..that means mummy making 30 little somethings and this year I think I have decided to go with this little treat above.
They are quick and fun to make. I just nestied 3 different papers- 2 from the Twelve crafters crafting cd rom from Funky Hand because I know I will never run out of that gorgeous paper if I need it, don't you just love digi paper!!! and I inked the edges silver.

A bit of tape and a little cellophane bag and they were done. I added some ginger bread man ribbon from my stash to the bottom to just finish it all off. Then I showed Mo and he said " oooh they are cute mummy but please can I have sweeties in them instead because the gingerbread people will be sad if they get eaten"........romfl!!!! so I guess it will be sweeties going in them when I make the rest!!!

Have a fabulous day everyone!

Checking my list.....

Image- Checking my list from Tiddly Inks
Papers- Funky Christmas Time from Funky Hand
Challenges I am entering with this little cutie pie are...
I love Promarkers- Cute
Diva's by design- Feeling Festive

Morning Peeps!
I hope you are all having a super toasty warm day!! yesterday brought the first frosts here and this morning is even crispier!! I have to admit that though I don't like the cold one little bit I do love the magic of frosty mornings. Mo loves to go see if Jack Frost has been too, especially when he is finding frozen spider webs!!

So it is a Tiddly Inks/ Funky Hand share from me this morning!! I have used 2 of my absolute favs from their shops! and they work together so beautifully too.

I layered all the yumminess up with the current Tiddly Inks challenge in mind! I used the make it like Lou card as a sketch. There is just something so scrumptious about layers of gorgeous papers like these.

My little santa's helper chick has been coloured up with my promarkers...
Skin- coral,sunkissed pink and blush
Hair- sandstone,cocoa and burnt sienna
Suit- Poppy,crimson and burgundy
List- pastel beige and Khaki
and she has some stickles star dust bling on her too....in fact I couldn't take a piccy of this card until this morning because the star dust bling didn't fancy drying in my chilly crafty garage last night!!

Well, I had better get on with my day, I still have a good wodge of ironing to get through along with another pile of washing and some playing with the furball princess to do!!!

Thank you for popping in on me!

Trimming the Tree!!!

Morning Peeps!!
How are we all today? Fabulous  I hope.  have had a craft/bloggy free few days to spend some time with Scott,Mo and Poppy and it has been wonderful. We just needed to have some us time, not doing much because it was soooooo cold and rainy (......and still was when Poppy and I were doing Puppy training yesterday...brrrrrrr!!) but I feel so much better for some family time, I love it.

So this little cutie is my DT make for the  Dies To Die For inspiration blog today. I had some colouring time in the afternoon while Mo and Daddy played on the PS3 and yummy makey time last night once an exhausted Mo had fallen asleep and it was bliss!! I also seem to of has a complete die cutting fest with all the different dies on it too!!!

There is.......
a Cheery Lynn French Pasrty doily , Memory Box Cherish border, Tim Holtz mini tattered florals and Doo-hickey swirl with flower leaf to make my little poinsettia!!!! I had fun with that little thing!! it is 2 of the long petalled mini florals with a Tim Holtz winter wishes die snowflake in the centre and a couple of stamens popping through. I rolled the petals of the flower around my pokey tool to get a bit of umpf in them!!!

The stamp is Saturated Canary Trimming the Tree. She was just so lovely to stamp and colour and I love those layers in her dress. I dotted my blender pen around the green top layer of her dress to give it a bit of a worn, soft look. She is coloured with promarkers and has some Copic At you spica pens dotted around her, they are gorgeously glittery but the piccy doesn't do them justice!!

The papers and the little cookie hearts are all from the First Edition Festive Treats 6x6 paper pad, its yummy with lots of double sided and glittery papers in. I foam dotted the hearts onto some MME merry and bright twine (...sob sob...its almost my last little bit of this gorgeous twine!!) and of course a little bit of Stickles Star Dust bling to finish off the baubles, star and skirt on the tree.

Well, that's me for today! I have got Mo's little breakfast buddy arriving soon so I am going to get dressed and get a cuppa and a nice bowl of hot porridge before she arrives. I am still frozen from yesterday's puppy training class so its going to be a thick socks and big jumpers kinda day today!! Poppy is not keen on the wet, cold grass so I am thinking I am going to have to get some under grass heating soon....he he he he he!!! we even resorted to taking her out with an umbrella over her....
"......yes, mummy and daddy are suckers for the furball princess when I sit at the patio door all sad because I want to go explore and that horrid cold wet drippy stuff is spoiling  my playtime and making my grass all cold and soggy!!! thank goodness my big brother has a super duper animal umbrella to protect me!!!! come on Daddy lets go!!!"

he he he!!!

Thank you so much for popping in on me and I am waving a huge hello to all my new followers! I couldn't believe all the new faces when I peeked in on my bloggy this morning, thank you so much for reading my wafflies!!

have a great day everyone, huge hugs Lou xxx

Halloween 2012....

Morning Peeps!!
well, I didn'y get chance to blog yesterday because my house was a flurry of halloween activity with these 2 little spookables below.......
The top piccy is Scott,Mo and I!!! and my 2 spookables are of course Mo and Boo. I couldn't believe it when Mo chose the spooky clown outfit! argghhhhh!! I don't do clowns!! but being a good mamma I let him go with what he fancied.
Then it came to painting the faces and Boo decided she wanted to be a dead fairy.....!! my big sis didn't recognise her own daughter when she arrived last night ready for our trick o treating walk!!
Here's our pumpkins all lit up.....

They count as a halloween make because I did all but 2 of them!!! romfl!! I have repetative scooping injury this morning....!!!

And outside was tough to take a piccy of this year as our street lamp is out but there was a big hanging spider and his legs were all attached to the poles making a kinda leggy canopy for the little peeps to walk through...

I love the fun of halloween and Mo...oh my gosh...he picked up mamma's halloween genes because he adores it! he got so excited and he was tired out when he went to bed last night! he was asleep as soon as his little head touched the pillow...I was the same at 9pm!!!!
I also really enjoyed seeing a few of my little nursery peeps whilst we were walking, its so lovely to be able to share in their excited moments and I am lucky to have several of them living on the estate that I live on too so that was an extra treat for me...they even recognised me in my spookable skeleton outfit!!!

Right, I need to shake myself into action for work!!! I'll catch up with you all when I get home from work tonight!
Huge hugs Lou xxx

Tiddly Inks Challenge 97- Make it like Lou..!!

Image- Wryn Goes Caroling from Tiddly Inks.
Papers-  Glitz Joyeaux Noel from Dies to Die For.

Its Tiddly Tuesday!! yey! that means its time for an exciting new challenge over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and a gorgeous new wryn too!! super yey!!!!
So first the new challenge! and this week its a super fun one for me because the challenge is.....
Make it like Lou!!

squee! thats me!!!! he he he he!!! and here's a piccy of the card you need to use as your inspiration...
You can go with the stamp, the layout, the colours...just use the photo as your inspiration and please remember to use a Tiddly Inks image.

for my challenge card this week I couldn't resist using Wryn Goes Caroling. I teamed her up with some gorgeous new Glitz design Joyeaux Noel papers, they are so yummy. I stamped on the distressed cream looking on with my penny Black Christmas Story slapstick stamp. The little sentiment on the heart is a Molly Blooms one. I added a teensy pearl to the middle of it. I bought both of the stamps on my little trip out to Sir Stampalot on saturday and I love them both!

For the colours on Wryn herself I tried to go for a lovely vintage sepia look using just 4 flexmarkers (...well it had to be using just 4 because I have ....just 4!!!!! romfl!!!!) here's a teeny row of pens used....

oooh and before I forget there's a new Wryn out today!!! wohoo!! she's adorable. here she is on my big sisters birthday card....

I even linked her to the shop for you because I am so super helpful.....:) :) :)

This morning Little Mo and I are off to take my mum out to meet my grandad in wragby for a cooked breakfast. It is becoming a weekly little trip out for me, mum and grandad so I am super excited to take Mo along and you can guess how excited Mo is!!! I am just so super happy that 4 generations of my family can still sit down in a little cafe and have a meal together. Then tonight my niece Lily-Boo is coming for a sleepover and then tomorrow wooohhooooooo! its halloween!!! I cannot wait, I absolutely adore halloween and Little Mo's excitment for the whole day followed by a halloween trick or treat walk around our street.
We only go to houses with a lit pumpkin outside, I have always taight my children only to knock on those houses because its a bit like a silent invitation to go, if I don't see a pumpkin I respect the wishes of those people who are not celebrating by not knocking at their door.
I LOVE our halloween walk and Scott and I always get dressed up too, I am not sure I will ever give up our halloween walk and will be making Mo come home for it for the rest of my days!! he he he!!!
Right I have a little furball princess giving me "please can I have my breakfast mummy" whines and eyes so I had better go feed her!! she is such a piggly wiggly we had to get her a food bowl with little mountains in it to slow her down when she is eating!! it works fantastically though and she is eating a lot nicer now.
Thank you for popping in on me!
Huge hugs Lou xxxx

Happy Day ....

 Papers - MME Summer Splash.
Morning everyone!
Its my day to post a little Lou make over on the Dies to Die For inspiration blog and I just had to share it on my bloggy too because he's just so adorable.

I hope its a whole tonne warmer where you are than here in Lincolnshire because its sooo freezy I could of stayed tucked up in my duvet this morning!!! but I wanted to share this cute little Greeting farm guy with you! I adore their little faces! they are such a joy to colour up.

I used up the last bits of my treasured MME Summer Splash paper to make my gorgeous Little Mo his birthday card and a little matching notepad, its his birthday in December and I am quite proud of myself for being super organised this year!!! I sometimes end up rushing the little guy a card out because I am in full chrimbles cards swing but this year my Little Mo comes first!! go mamma!!!

The papers had a little sheet of pennants and badges that you could cut out so I had lots of fun choosing the ones I fancied and then made a little row of pennants using the last squidge of my MME twine!!!

I stamped him out with Memento Tuxedo black ink and coloured him up with promarkers

Here's a closer look at the birthday card....

The little strips just behind him are borders from the same page as the gorgeous little pennants came from.I curled the edges of the pennants a little so they looked like they were blowing in the breeze.

Then I got busy on a matching notepad. I coloured him up slightly differently than the card but still using the same colour pens. The name is made with the Tim Holtz Chip Block Alphabet strip die.The little 'Happy Day' sentiment comes in the stamp set and I just stapled that on before adhering the whole piece to the front of the notepad.

I hope you enjoyed a little 'Happy Day' posting from me today!! He's just so cute you can't resist him really and I loved making this little pressie for my little guy, he will go crazy for it because it has dinosaurs on and he is always making notes and plans so a little notebook will be very happily received!!!

Yesterday we were finally able to set the little furball princess free on the big world streets for her first walkies and she loved it!!! here she is skipping along...
he he he he!!! she looked so teeny out there, I have to admit the harness she is wearing is probably going to sit at the back of our cupboard like it did when we had it for Zakky as I just prefer the control of a lead and collar. Furball Princess also went for her very first training session yesterday lunchtime and she loved that too!! she was quite happy pootling around the field and practising walking on her lead nicely. She practised turns and walking in front and sitting which was so much fun it left her like this.....
......for the entire afternoon!!! romfl!!!!! but she is sooooo cute!!!

Right I am off to soak up some time with my gorgeous Little Mo, its half term and we have a pj day planned. I have bought some microwave popcorn so we are going to get that in and snuggle up and watch a movie, this is my favourite kinda day.

Thank you for popping in on me, I can't tell you how much I appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for me, they mean so much and keep me smiling all day as they pop into my inbox.
Huge hugs Lou xxx
