Tiddlying on a tuesday!!!

I'm a 2 in one day gal today!!!  I have been out for a cookie and a cuppa with my bestie and her gorgeously super cute baby ( got my snugglies in too, she 's sooooo cute!!) and felt like a quick make before I go pick up my mini man from school!!

So now I guess I better go get that little guy! he is so exhausted from the bug he had that he fell asleep on the way home last night so I wonder if he will do the same tonight as he had swimming today too! poor chap!!

Funky Hand new release...Just for Jen!

I hope you are all having a terrific tuesday so far!! so this morning I have a share with you from the gorgeous new Funky Hand download, Just For Jen.

For my card I cut a heart shape out of one of the plain papers and then foam mounted it onto the gorgeous heart paper so it made an appeture. The little tag is from my stash with a stamp from the Love n That stamp set .

mimosa hat bookmark!!

Morning all!!
its my DTDF inspiration blog day today and this week I had another bookmark to make. 

I always like to try something a little different so I cut out my bookmark out of Kraft card using the Die-namics bookmark and die stamp set and then stamped on my cute little Bildmarlana mimosa hat stamp. I coloured her up and then snipped a couple of little holes around her hands to thread some blue paper cord through to make a little pretend wall, the stones in the wall are just me doodling with my promarkers but they turned out so nice. I coloured a bit of grass in and dotted some white pen for little teeny flowers and around my little girl too.

I stamped the circle from the set up at the top of the bookmark and then using Die-namics Layered Rose I cut and  layered up the flower and added a flat backed pearl to the centre to make it pop!! Then I cut an extra one and tied it onto some twine so that it can hang out of the book page.

You stole my heart!!!

Afternoon Peeps!!
how are you all this gorgeous sunday?! so far we have had an awesome day. Little Mo is feeling much better today and we have been busy playing. 

I got chance to colour up the awesome 24 hr freebie, Stole My Heart, Mo Manning shared, you might even have time to go get him before he goes up for sale in the shop. I love him to bits, he is so cheeky!!! I printed him out and coloured him up all grey apart from his juicy red heart!! so I used all my cool grey 1-5 for him and then poppy, crimson and burgundy for his heart.

The heart behind him is a brush from a set called Aunt Elizabeth Brushes that I got free from Scrapnfonts. I thought that just one big black and white heart with him would be just perfect for a man card!!

Then Mo and I made some little fimo monster dudes. Mine is called Gimp...

and mo's is called Nestlock...

I had to giggle at Mo's choice of name! I don't know where he got that from but its so funny!! I think he has a monster namg talent!! their eyes are made with glow in the dark fimo so they look super cute in the dark!!

Mo is currently making 'potions' in the bathroom...(which means I will go up and find open bottles of shampoo and talcum powder along with several of his play jugs but I don't mind one little bit because he hasn't moved from the settee or bed for almost a week now so as long as he is happy, I am happy!) 

Right then! gotta go!! Got to get the oven on for chicken enchiladas! yum!! my mummy made them and gave them to us as she was asked out for lunch so that will make a lovely change.

More on the new Tiddly Inks images!!

I almost forgot to share my other Tiddly makes with the new releases! I am so zombified at the moment!! lol!!!

And my make today uses  Emma- celebrate Joyfully, she is just so cute and fab for a million different uses but today she is a birthday girl!!! she is available in digi and clear stamp, this one is digi because I don't have the stamp.....yet :) :)

I cut Emma out with my Nestabilities Floral Ovals.And coloured her up with my promarkers...

skin- blush,sunkissed pink and coral

Boots- Coral and sunkissed pink

hair and dress- sandstone, cocoa and burnt sienna

Then I teamed her up with some of my stroke only basic Grey sugared papers!!! I sooo love these papers, my little  6x6 pad is looking kinda thin now.....more stroking less using required there!! and mounted her on some foam to pop her up a squidge.

The little roses around the side are my Die-namics Mini Royal Rose.I cut 2 large ones and 4 small ones and tried to roll the 4 small ones  so that there were 2 even smaller ones so they decreased in size around the frame. A bit of twine and a little heart slider with a bow and she is all done!!

The sentiment is from a freebie I got on a magazine ages ago but it just seemed to fit so nicely.

She is off to sit in the challenge over on the Charisma Cards blog which is Hearts and flowers!

Ok, Mo and I are off to drop Sophia off at breakfast club and get some more milk being as he has decided to start trying a bit more than water today and is asking for warm milk...well its a start!!

So,its friday already...

Morning Peeps!!

I hope you are all having a fabulous friday. Mine is going to be a funny one. I have a poorly little Mo at home with me still, last night was dreadful but he seems a little happier this morning, and then this afternoon it is time for me to say goodbye to a dear person at his memorial service.

James lit a huge fire in anyone he met and was such a beautiful person but very sadly he died in november in a car crash.Its been a huge loss for all of his friends and family, especially his fiancée Vicky, his parents and his brother Paul. He wouldn't of wanted people to be sad about his death because he was so full of positivity.His funeral was back in november in Devizes but many of us from here in Lincoln could not make it so we are saying our goodbyes today. If you knew James and can be there I am sure that Vicky and James family would love to have you there. The service is at 2pm at All Saints Church in Nettleham,Lincoln and then onto the Lincolnshire Poacher pub for 3pm to celebrate James.

The lady who took the photograph above is the uber talented Claire Spelling. It was very hard for JRFS to come up with a fitting tribute to James but along with the help of James's close family and friends they put together an awesome calendar to raise money for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance and James's memorial fund.

I am hoping to get mine soon, after all who wouldn't want to see a bit of James everyday?!

Ok, so thats me for today! 

I am off to get a cuppa and have a snuggle with Mo and then take the day as it comes today!

4-tee-th birthday!!!

Morning Peeps!!

I hope you are all having a great day. I am home with a sick little Mo. He has a virus and gastroenteritis caused by all the icky stuff in his nasal tract going down into his tummy :( I feel so sad for him. He was up and down in pain and with high temp during the night but managed to sleep in until 6:30am...I however was on mummy worry mode and hardly slept a wink so I resemble something out of the waking dead this morning!! Mo hasn't eaten anything for the last 2 days so I have just made up some cupcakes and they are baking away, I figure I can tempt his with a plain little vanilla cupcake because he loves those!

Its a wierd feeling not being at work today though, its feels like I am a fraud because there is nothing wrong with me!! does anyone else ever feel bad like that when they have to call in work to say you can't go because your mini peeps are ill? 

So onto the card!!! My mum ordered " a big 40th birthday card with a cool golfer please" a couple of weeks ago, so out came the 8x8 cards, a bit of kenny K and some'man' papers!! romfl!! The little golf ball is made with my little circle punch and then embossed with my sizzix dots folder and rolled around a marble to get it 3D, the tee is just a bit of happy Lou snipping hoping it looks like a tee!!!

The image is Golfer from Kenny K , coloured up with my promarkers and then I distressed all around the edges with my vintage photo distress ink,its very manly!! lol!!!!

skin- blush, sunkissed pink and coral.

Greens- pear green and olive green.

So I have one little boy all sickly and one little furball princess with a sore eye to take to the vets too, then I might get a little craftying done later!!

Tiddly Inks new releases....

Morning Peeps!

oh my I am late in bloggy land this morning. We have had another night of temps and sickness with little Mo so this morning my engine is running on espresso (...thank you gorgeous tassimo machine!) 

A very exciting day though because there are new Tiddly Inks characters in the store!! squeeee!! They are coming in clear stamp version too!! super yey!! I know I may be a squidge biased but oh my do I adore them.

So they 2 gorgeous new characters on my date night jar are Jake and Emma ( notice the coppers around the bottom of the jar? that kinda sums up our penny situation right now!!!)... and here they are...

aren't they just so sweet? and this is Celebrate joyfully..

she has yet to make it onto a something!! that's today's job if Mo manages to rest a little! and this one is Bloom beatifully.......

aren't they all just awesome? and even better, there is a sale going on too! well, we all love a sale now don't we? :)

Evening peeps!!
Well its a 2 blog day for me!! lol!!! I got some time in my crafty garage today so I thought I would share one of my makes with you all before I go up to bed ( ...dreaded monthlies are zapping me of all Lou super powers tonight!! lol!!!)

I picked out all my fav papers ( MME wild aspargus) for this card and my fav promarkers to go with them.
pinks- antique pink and cocktail pink
browns- sandstone, cocoa and burnt sienna
skin- blush,sunkissed pink and coral

I had an awesome day pootling out there today and when I came out of my little craft room my awesome new neighbours even more awesome mum was cutting down the tree's that have been blocking the light out of our garden for the last 7 years, I cannot tell you how much brighter it looks already.It really made my day. It was freeeeezing out there so I made her a lovely brew and had a little chat over the fence ( ...lou tottering on tippy toes on little mo's stool!!) but it was so nice to have a quick cuppa and chat outside.

Right off to bed for me! I've had 2 co-codamol and I am kinda floating on air a bit!!! romfl!!

Tiddly Inks challenge 102- Wings!!!

Morning peeps!!

Its that Tiddly Time of week again where the Tiddly Inkers get their inky thang on over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog and roll out another super fun challenge for you all!! and this week our theme is so much fun! this week its....

Wings

Your creation can use any Tiddly Inks image you'd like but just make sure there are wings on your creation.  You can use a Tiddly image with wings, embellishments with wings, or even ribbons with wings!  There are so many adorable images at Tiddly Inks that fit the bill too!  We have fairies and buggs, butterflies and birds galore!  Remember to link up before midnight on February 5th with your NEW creation using a Tiddly Inks image.  

ooooooh I cannot tell you how much fun I had making my card for this one!!! so first some linkies of which tiddly items I used...piccies are linked to the shoppe!!!! :)

I hadn't made a shaker card in soooo long I just had to get out one of my plastic domes and have a bit of fun.

I cut an aperture out to pop my dome through. I used a scalloped circle nestie to do that so it kinda looked like a flower around the edge of the dome. Then I popped a few flowers and beads in the dome and got to work on my stamp.

Ooooooooh I know I keep saying oooooooooh but christy's Tiddly Inks clear stamps are just the bomb! first they come in such a cute little pack with a sentiment and some coordinating bits that are super cute ( I so love the little bees and their flight path in this one!!!)

I coloured her up with my promarkers...

browns- burnt sienna, cocoa and sandstone

yellows- gold,mustard and canary

skin-coral, sunkissed pink and blush

and inked the edges with some tee dye distress ink ( my fav colour at the min and everything is edged with it!! lol!!)

Then I nestied her up and adhered her to the circle I cut to back my dome and then adhered that to the dome.

I cut a little tag using my cuttlebug tags die set and then stamped the 'Happy Bee-day' sentiment onto it and threaded a bit of string through.

I love this card,its sooooo cute!! and totally warming on a freezy day too!!! so thats it from little ole me today!! I am hoping to get out in my craft room today, yesterday was just too cold and I was a bit stressed with the weather and thoughts of driving but today  am ready for action again! fire up those promarkers!!!! (....and the heater for a good hour before I go in there!!! romfl!!!)
