Helicopter Fun!!!

Papers and embellies- Crate paper Toy Box collection kit.
Die- Die-namics Blueprints 1.

Morning peeps!!

I hope you are having an awesome Monday!! its my turn to post my DT creation over on the DTDF Inspiration blog so I thought I would share it in here too!!

Oh wow was this card fun to make!!! he he he he!!! I just had to get my little mits back on that Toybox collection kit again, the die cuts and stickers alone are enough to get you wanting to play with it and then ooooh gorgeous boy papers ahoy!! can you tell I love it?!!!

I cut the card base with my Die-Namics blue prints 1 and Kraft card, then using a few more of the dies I cut some of the papers to get it looking all combatty!! I chose a couple of the yummy stickers and then popped the little helicopter up on some foam...( gorgeous little soldiers standing near the card do not come in the kit but they were way too fun to leave out of a piccy!! he he he!!)

I matched the inside up too with some more paper with the scalloped rectangle in the Blue prints set and a little soldier die cut from the sheet in the Toybox collection..

Thank you so much for popping in on me!!

Poppy Tilda....swoon!!!

Stamp- Poppy Tilda from Sir Stampalot
Papers- Affection too from Nitwits
Coloured with promarkers

Morning peeps!!!!

How are you all on this gorgeous sunny sunday? fabulous I hope.

So yesterday my naughty hip was being really naughty and I ended up not being walky enough to go to Ferry Meadows with Scott, Mo and Poppy but it wasn't all bad because instead of dropping me off for a quick visit to Sir Stampalot to spend some time watching my gorgeous friend Fleury demo away on her first demo, they left me whilst they went off to explore with Poppy so I got to watch Fleur for longer!! she was just fabulous as always.

She was using this stunning Tilda and of course I just had to buy her!! (he he he....told Scott Fleury made me do it.....!!!) she is just gorgeous!!  After a good couple of hours drooling over Fleur's card, that was just delicious, naughty hip got really bad so Scott and Mo came to fetch me and we went to have a cheeky McD's before coming home.

I treated myself to some new Nitwits papers especially to go with Tilda and printed them out....then Scott, Me and Mo all fell asleep at 7:30pm and didn't wake up until 5:55am this morning!!!! Lazy monkeys!!

So making of card didn't happen until this morning. I have to say I enjoyed every minute of pootling away at this card, its so special when you can be inspired by gorgeous friends.
Here's a pile of promarkers used.....

Just a few then!! romfl!!!!

On Mo's agenda this morning was 'making a robot', so Daddy raided his bits box and Mo and Mummy got gluey with the glue gun!! He is kinda cute!! bye bye coffee machine!!!

And now they are in here....

...while I get some bloggy time!!!!!...oh and Mo is scoffing plums!!!

so I am entering this little cutie in a few challenges.....

I coloured her up with my promarkers and added a little clear star sakura pen blinginess over the top. I used a whole tonne of yummy flowers and dies from my stash because this card was a 60th birthday card for my friends very special mummy (who I still refuse to believe is 60?!!!)

Right then, its a cuppa for me!! the sun is shining away which is awesome so I have got a load of washing in ready to go out on the line and I need to go take some tablets as I have a super stinky head cold again.....could be something to do with paddling in the sea on sunday with mo and Poppy....sigh!! but it was so much fun!!!!!

The sand was so high on the promenade from the storms blowing it up that we had to climb up it for Scott to take a quick piccy!!! I am actually stood up leaning forwards on this picture!! Mo and Poppy climbed up it!!

Have an awesome day peeps and don't forget to get those promarkers out and join in with our fantasy challenge!

For my card I used one of my fav images ever. This little somethings Monkey is just the cutest and perfect for so many things but he is also retired...sigh...sob sob!!!! I didn't realise until my card was all done but I still had to share him because he is way too gorgeous not to!!

I used my distressed stripes embossing folder to emboss my kraft paper and then added a bit of cotton medical gauze and ribbon, I distressed all the edges with my distezz-it-all ( I LOVE this littlr pink machine!! I use it tonnes, its so satisfying to hear it chewing away those edges, mwah ha ha ha ha!!!) and then added a good old splodge of vintage photo distress ink too.

Little monkey is coloured up with my promarkers...
Fur- sandstone,cocoa and burnt sienna
skin- blush, sunkissed pink,coral
vine- pear green and olive green

and he has some texture on him done with the good old promarker blender on a scrap of denim trick! I popped him out on some foam so he really does look as if he is swinging by, awwwwwww he is so darn cute!!!

Ryder Cole......

Stamp- Ryder Cole.
Papers and embellies- Crate paper Toy Box collection kit.
coloured with promarkers.

Morning everyone!! I hope you are all having an awesome monday, here in the UK it is bank holiday so we are having a lazy little morning in our house!! Mo,Scott and I are planning on vegging in pj's and watching Rise of the Guardians and Poppy has a very chewy appointment with her new treat ball from Fern and Zara! she loves it!!

Its my day to do my DT post for the Dies to Die For inspiration blog this morning and I was in the mood for a guy card this week and had this awesome Ryder Cole stamp and oh my gosh delicious Crate paper Toy Box kit to play with (ooooh you need this kit!!!) after stroking the papers for 10 mins and apologizing to them profusely I finally cut them up to make my card base.

Man cards = simples for me!! so a couple of stickers from the sticker sheet in the kit just finished the card off. The edging on my image mat is just from the off cut of my notched border die, but Mo and I deemed it cool and spikey looking so decided it would make a good edge!!! it does look cool!!

Now a warning from one crafter to another.......when googling images to see how peeps do the eyes on this awesome stamp do make sure you put 'Kenny K Ryder Cole' in images...just putting 'Ryder Cole' is not a good option.....sigh.....!!!!

And tonight..woohooooooo!! new series of Game of Thrones!!!!! can't wait, totally love this show, I want to be Daenerys Targaryen when I grow up!!!

Thank you so much for popping in on me, I do love little visitors!!!

So, how do you get a super cheesy smiley child like this one you ask?!!!!!! well, that bits easy!!

You print out a tonne of happy funky papers from Funky Hand and cut them out with your biggest oval nestie, laminate, punch holes with big bite and add ribbon ( this must all be done at 10pm on saturday night so that the easter mummy....bunny can run around outside like a crazy lady hiding them all over!!!) then at 6am ( thank you BST clock change!!) Let loose one little excited guy after finding this outside his bedroom door....

and then attempt to take piccies whilst the little guy runs around like a loony with excited squeels of "oooh there's one" and "oooh another one!!" with a few " oh man, the easter bunny must be so tired after hiding all these!!" and " I am so excited!!" (...really...we couldn't tell....romfl!!!)

Count up all your Funky Eggs... now while Mo is counting up all these Funky Egg's let me remind you all about the huge sale and Easter Egg Hunt over on the Funky Hand shop....you don't want to miss that....
and once the eggies were all counted up and the little guy goes up to his bedroom to find his easter treats all on his bed, cheeky easter bunny snuck in and put them there while Mo was hunting eggies!!

And not forgetting our furball princess!! she got a hunt all of her own with a yummy hard boiled eggy!!  we left Poppy in the kitchen while we hid her treat....pop in toy tyre........

Pop her fav holey ball on top....
Let her loose to find her treat...which was duly gone in 60 seconds!! he he he he!!!
I hope you all have an awesome easter too. We are going to go for a drive to the beach for a walk in the sunshine and some family time!!

Saturated Canary challenge 40- Pastel colours...

Image- Set Free from Saturated Canary.
Die-namics Rustic hearts.
Die- Namics 3x4 notebook paper.
Coloured with promarkers.

Afternoon Peeps!

I'm back with my second post of the day because its time for a new challenge over on the Saturated Canary challenge blog!! and this week the challenge set by our gorgeous Bev is....

Pastel Colours.

Now this is just such a lovely colour challenge,I love pastel shades when I am colouring.

I decided on a SMASH page for my project. Easter is a super special time in our house and Mo has been reading the same story in his chldren's bible all week at bedtime, which I love because I never have to ask him to read that, he loves it and on sunday morning we will have an easter egg hunt. Mo loves that easter eggs are based on the shape of the stone from Jesus's tomb.

Onto my smash!!! I chose Set Free and a whole easter/faith theme. I find these the easiest of my smash pages to do because they come from my heart, they seem to just flow so easily when they come from there.

The bible page is my actual bible plonked on the photocopier and copied at 50%, those yellow tabs on it are my salvation!!! when I did my alpha course it was a tip given to us by one of the teachers and it has been awesome for me. Each book in there is tabbed up and  labelled with a post it mini....(now I must admit I need something a little stronger to tab them with because I have had to replace several from getting worn out, especially my Luke, Matthew,Psalms and proverbs tabs!!!) it shows the part I have been reading this week too.

I coloured up my Set Free image with my promarkers...
skin- blush,sunkissed pink, coral
Dress- pastel green,tea green,soft green,blush,coral
boots and hair- sandstone,cocoa,burnt sienna
grass- pear green and olive green with some blender pen texture using an old pair of jeans!
pastel yellow for the shine around her.

Here's a close up of my sentiment and embellies!! I love this sentiment. For lent I chose to give up negativity again, its a really had one to do and there have been moments where I have struggled greatly with it but I am pleased at how I rolled along mostly, I am going to carry on with it though. You can't see my bottletop on the piccy below but I LOVE them, I glossy accented a little heart onto it.

I used my grapevine wreath die to wrap around my sentiment and a couple of hearts along with a palm cross I made myself out of raffia.

So that's me for the challenge!!! Don't forget to pop in on my teamies because they totally rocked pastel colours with the most beautiful cards.

And the challenge rules are super easy too so please remember to follow them...

You must use either a:

Morning peeps!!!
its a double whammy of Lou this week :) I wanted to pop in and share this little cutie with you. She is Boho Anya and isn't she just so sweet?! with all the cold weather across the UK I needed a little warm card!

The crate papers are just perfect to go with a little boho chick and I LOVED the sticker border, I can't find it in the shop but its one that co-ordinates with the papers.

So I only have one day at work this week and I have to admit I am pleased because I have had a rotten cold since yesterday, I seriously need some sunshine peeps!!!

Awwww! Furever...

Stamp- TGF Furever.
Blush, sunkissed pink,coral,
sandstone,cocoa,burnt sienna,
cool grey 3-5.
Morning everyone!!
Hope you are all having an awesome monday so far. I love this super cute little share this morning. The TGF Furever stamps are so cute and this one with the little kitty was just perfect for a card I needed to make for a super special lady.
I used a sketch from my friend Michelle, it was a dream to work with and I will be using it tonnes, it worked perfectly with those gorgeous stroke only Lucille papers!!

I colored her up with my promarkers and then gently added a few of the heart stamp in the set around her. There are a few dots of glossy accents around her too and the edges are all inked with vintage photo distress ink.

I am popping her cuteness over in the anything goes challenge on the I love promarkers challenge blog.

So what are you all up to today? I am on breakfast buddy duty and then once all little peeps are dropped off at school the furball princess and I are off to play with the grumbly dogs.
