This weekend.....

Morning Peeps!!
So I have no crafty make to share with you all this morning, just this quote I found on facebook a while ago.
We are busy indugling in family bubble this weekend! he he he!! yesterday we went to the shop especially to buy ingredients for Mo to make his own lemonade. it makes you fell 100% awesome knowing you did that tiny wish your little guy had for the day. These piccies are from my phone so they are not fabulous but they do show how much fun my little guy had making his lemonade!!!

This morning I made Poppy a liver cake for the first time, just need to slice it up into teeny pieces now and freeze some. I love giving her natural treats and they are sooooo cheap to make too, the liver only cost me £2 for 2lb of it!! bargain!!
Today we are wombling over to the school car boot sale and Poppy is taking a walk with her Grumbly dog buddies, then its home for snugglies and film.
I so love the weekend with my guys and pup!!
Have an awesome sunday peeps!!

Saturated Canary Challenge 42- All Things Bright and Beautiful colour challenge....

Image- Springball from saturated Canary.
Papers- MME Happy Day.
Coloured with promarkers.
Afternoon Peeps!!!

Before I waffley on about the new SC challenge any more I just want to wish our awesomely gorgeous DT Jane a super happy birthday!! love you chick xxxxx

So our Deb's set us this awesome colour challenge this time and ooooooh I love these colours!! I loved the new Springball digi too so I decided to go with a super funky and cool ball player!!

I added an extra little sentiment to the tag from my SU teeny tags die set and tied it on with some twine. I love the happy feeling on this card!!

My xrays came back and although they showed up early arthritis they also showed that my hip joint is ok for now which is awesome. The pain is coming from my thigh muscle which has Trochianteric Bursitis (...yeah, ya'll know I can't even say it!!!! he he he!!) so I have been referred to the muscular skeletal peeps for an MRI and treatment.
I also got whizzy new painkilers which although they don't stop the pain completely they do stop the awful burning feeling when I weight bear on my left leg so it is much nicer to walk.....though I am supposed to be resting completely for 2 weeks at least.....  (ok, I really really tried....I sat down for like a whole 10 mins with a cup of tea.....I am just not good at the resty thing peeps!!!) so hopefully soon I will have a treatment plan and get sorted!!

And the challenge rules are super easy too so please remember to follow them...

You must use either a:
Saturated Canary Digi
Saturated Canary rubber stamp,
or Simply Sassy rubber stamp
and follow the theme of the challenge.
and please remember you can only enter once.
And most importantly....
Have lots and lots of fun!!!

And please turn off your word verification and turn on comment moderation, you
just need to  need to go to 'Customise' , then choose 'Settings' then choose Comments Scroll down to where it says comment moderation and select always (it won't stop anybody commenting but they won't show on your blog till you approve them). Then you scroll down to show word verification for comments? and select No
Our DT don't want to miss any entries but word verification is becoming
increasingly hard and we have a whole lot of gorgeous makes we don't want to
miss out on leaving the love for :)

Pretty Pegs!!!!

Morning Peeps!!

well this is a question I ask myself everyday when I look at the snippets of yummy papers on my less than tidy craft desk!!!!! but I love them so much I don't want to throw them away!

what to do? what to do?!!!! romfl!!! so this is what I came up with last week when I was enjoying a couple of putting the washing on the lie days!!

I got to thinking my pegs were a little bit boring and needed some cheering up so out came the glue and scraps of Pink Paislee Prairie Hill papers and my glossy accents and 30 mins later I had pretty pegs!!!

All I did was splodge the scraps of paper onto my pegs with the glue and then filed around the edges to make them fit gorgeously.

Then I gave them a good coat of glossy accents and smoothed it out with a brush.

But...I couldn't stop there and made myself a little magnet for some of my notes from Mo, I so love the little notes he leaves all over for me, they make my day shine.

I attached a strip of adhesive magnet to the back.....

and stick it on the fridge to hold my Mo notes!! this is the one I got for valentines day with Mo's valentines day postcard from his besties! too cute!!!

so easy to make but so much fun. I have another on my front door (its white but metal!!) that holds a not telling me what Mo needs on what days at school (sigh....yes I am that useless some mornings, especially after the hols so need reminders!!!)

Right I had better get myself moving a bit, I have a grumbly dog walk this morning with my little Poppy acting as stoogey pup to get those big boys used to black dogs. Yesterday was our puppy class get together walk and Poppy loved it. Lots of playing with her buddies and eating horse poo......sigh.......here she is having a little veg out in the grass!!
Have an awesome day,

Fathers Day tag card.

Papers and alpha's from Steam Funk.
Image from Colour me Happy.
Morning Peeps!!
It's my turn to post over on the Get Funky and craft inspiration blog this morning.

I have been thinking of Fathers day cards for my Dad's! and this one is my fav so far. I wanted something a bit different so went for this folded tag album card.

They are so much fun to make. All you need to do is print out your fav paper on some thin cardstock. If you want the inside to have a pattern on too, pop it back through the printer and print on the other side too.

How you do the pocket inside is up to you, I had fun making different pockets for this one! I love the shirt and tie one!!

I added a bit of string and saw charm to the second pocket, rolled the edge of the next over and added an eyelet and some punched Alpha's from the Steam Funk download. For the last pocket I punched a little out of the top of it and then printed out the tools image from the Colour me Happy workspace.

I was really careful with the little scalloped circles.  looked all over my texted paper and picked out some cool Dad describing words from it and then punched them so they would be clearly seen on the bottom of the folded over circle. I chose Smart, Slick, Knowing and Skill!! how fun is that?!!

Thank you for popping in on me

Promarkers..
skin- tan and sandstone.
dress- poppy,crimson and burgundy.

I'm back again peeps!! its time for a new challenge over on the Passion for Promarkers challenge blog and this weeks challenge is....

 Button it up!

it doesn't get much easier than that does it?  Basically as long as we see a button on your creation then you’re fine. Don’t forget you must use your Letraset products (i.e. promarkers, flex markers, aqua markers, tria markers, metallic markers or neon markers) and of course follow the theme.
Our sponsor this week is the lovely Sally-Ann from DigiStamp Boutique and she is offering one lucky winner a prize of 6 digi images.

I used Hana for my card. My Dad collects Momijii dolls and she so reminded me of one I just had to use her his birthday card.

I made the card base using my awesome Die-Namics Blue Prints 1. They are just a dream!! I used the largest one to cut the card base and then played with the other layers using one of the skecthes avaialble for them. The best news was that the big button die was perfect for this week challenge!! and I added a little red flower button to the top of it too, just to make sure I had those buttons in there!! he he he!!! the swirl is a sizzix one from my stash of dies!!!

Right , got to go!! I am having fun making something funky hand for tomorrow's bloggy post!! Just perfick for Fathers Day!!

Tiddly Inks challenge 108- 3,2,1 Recipe!!

Morning Peeps!!!
its time for a new challenge over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and this week its......

The challenge today is a recipe challenge, a 3, 2, 1!
We want to see THREE design papers, TWO embellishments, and ONE Tiddly Inks image of your choice!

So all you need to do to join in with us this week is get out your fav Tiddly Inks images and show us a bit of distressing, stitching, or embossing.  You can use all three or one of the three, it's up to you!  so here's some idea's from the gorgeous Tiddly Inkers to get you started.

For my card I used Wryn Hopping By. She is just so sweet and I really challenged myself too and made myself stick rigid to the recipe!! it was a toughy! I hadn't realised how much I just kinda keep going and adding bits to a card!!

I distressed all my edges and made sure there were a few little rips for extra umpf and did a few layers to really make it pop!! Wryn is coloured up with promarkers and popped out a bit on some foam.

Right I had better get a wriggle on!! Mo slept in until 6am this morning and I have another blog post to schedule up for the Passion for promarkers challenge this week so don't forget to pop back in on me later too!!!

Huge hugs Lou xxxxxx

Oh my my my is all I can say!!!! he he he!! Last week saw the release of the new Di Namics Blue Prints 2 set and as soon as I knew I was on the pooter to Da Boss throwing some pennies her way so that it arrived to live at my house asap!!!! and of course with Tracy being fabulous it did just that!!!

Which is perfect as I had a Thank you card to make for my Grandad who paid for us to have our central heating flushed. My grandad loves planes so naturally I had to head for that awesome Toybox collection kit!! ( I hope you aren't all bored of it,its just so good and a good old boy card in between all these gorgeous girly ones is so much fun!!)

The dies in this Die- Namics set just absolutely rock! and I even used one of the sketches you can find HERE to make it, thank you MFT!!

I splodged a few of the die cuts and stickers from the kit on and then added the plane popped up on some foam to the top. I love that little tag die soooo much!!!! its so cute!!!!

So today see's tears in our house...from Mo and me!! lol!! its that dreaded first day back at school and even at this early hour we have had 2 meltdowns :( one at getting dressed and the other at the general schooliness of the day :( I feel so sorry for my little guy when he gets this sad so its snuggles and Willow (...sigh...yes again do I have to sit through another session of young Val Kilmer....swoooooon!!!!!) Since Scott bought him it on saturday we have watched it 4 times!! but its such a good film, a real children's film is so nice to watch.

And here's my little guy feeling happier. I took this piccy last wednesday when I was fiddling with my photoshop elements texture tool!! I love this little squidger so much!!!
He he he!! it doesn't hide those dirty little "Mumma I've been gardening" fingers!!! boy did I have to scrub those clean!! but he had so much fun weeding with his little friend and they even earnt a dairy milk choccy bar from one of my neighbours for doing his garden so they were happy!!!

Off to do some snuggling!! Have an awesome day everyone!!

Saturated Canary challenge 41- Anything Goes!!

Stamps- Suspenders and Wallflower.
Love sentiment from my SU Teeny tags set.
Coloured with Flexmarkers-
Nutmeg, Champagne, Antique white.

Afternoon Peeps!!
Its time for a new challenge over on the Saturated Canary challenge blog and this week its a nice and easy one of....
Anything Goes!!

I made a card for Scott this week. He has been an absolute superstar while I have been hobbling around like an old lady with my hip.

And if ever there was a smash card I think this is it!!! I think I threw a bit of everything onto it!! I LOVE the gorgeous MME papers and the little memo card was sent to me from Krista in a little packet of goodies. The hearts were lying on my desktop from a card I made last week.

I was having a use minimal amount of colour day too!! he he he! I wanted a kinda classic sepia tone on my stamps so I stuck to just the 3  flexmarker colours, Nutmeg, Champagne, Antique white. I doodled some dots in the background too.

They are mounted on a plane old record card and I just stamped love on the tab to jazz it up a little!!

Smashing on a card!! who knew?!!!! lol!!

My hip is hideously sore. I am still no further into knowing exactly what is wrong with it. My xrays have been sent to the consultant but not reported on yet :( booooooo so I am wobbling on! work is a toughy as I am so sore but hopefully the girls at work won't think me lazy for needing to stop and sit down quite a bit....nursery nursing and hideously sore hip are not the best mix!!

This is a 3x3 card blank and I stamped straight onto it. Then I added the luscious velvet ribbon and cut a little swirl and royal rose in kraft card scraps I had left on my desk.

Its such a cute little thank you card and the stamp works so beautifully.
