Tiddly Inks challenge 111- Masculine...gulp!!!!

Image- Going Swimming  from Tiddly Inks.

It's Tiddly Tuesday and time for a new challenge over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog!  and today's challenge is a great one for this time of year....
Men,Men,Men, Manly men!!
so all you need to do is dig out your fav manly Tiddly Inks and create a masculine card or project.  Father's Day is just around the corner and we'd love to see you create something for the guy in your life.  It can be a little boy card, a teen card, or a Father's day card.  It really doesn't matter just as long as it's for the male gender!

Make sure to link up a new creation using a Tiddly Inks image before 12am Tuesday, June 11th.

I went for a kinda cute Fathers Day kinda make as manly cards are something that make me sweat as soon as the words 'man card' are said!! but to be completely honest the image and papers on this one made it an absolute dream to put together.

A little splodge of colour from my promarkers and some easy square nestying and this card was all done. ( I must add it lasted only 2 hours sat in my little sale pile before it was snapped up and gone!!!! but he was sooo cweet to look at for a while!!!lol!)

Its been a while since I entered a challenge so this little guy is off to play with the cupcakes over on the cupcakes challenge blog for their boys theme this week.

ok, time for a Lou to pootle off!! its half term and Mo and I are going to watch Arthur and the invisables because its raining....urgh....and then we are picking my mum up at 9am as Mum and I are starting weight watchers today.

This year has been a year of change for us both and we decided we are going to start doing some positive things. Now Mum is walking some without her stick and can call that excersise we are taking the bull by the horns to fight some blubber!! I started using my online tools on Friday and have lost 3lb already by following a few of the recipes so I am hoping it will continue!!

Have an awesome day peeps!!

Princess Peanelope......

MME Enamel dots.
Morning everyone!!

Its Lou here with a post for you on this gorgeous monday morning!! I was in a stamping mood yesterday and Princess Peanelope was on the recieving end of my inkiness!! he he he!! I sat in the front garden with Mo and coloured away while he played on his Ipad. He has been poorly but the Dr wants us to get him out in the sun as much as possible so we chilled in the sun on our front garden!!

It was also gorgeously sunny so out came the delicious MME Katie and co Cambridge Court papers and enamel dots. They just scream summer deliciousness at me.

The lace has been sat in my DT box waiting for the perfect moment to be used and this was it! it matched the papers perfectly.

So today we are just doing a little more vegging out. Mo was more settled in the night last night with no calpol at 3:30am runs needed so hopefully he is over the worst!! I am going to have a little crafty time and Mo wants to do some Legoing and Scott is going to take the furball princess for her early morning ploddikins!!

Have an awesome day everyone and thank you for popping in on me

A bit exciting....

Morning peeps!!

I hope you are all about to have or have started already a fabulous friday. I got home from my doggy sitting at 7:20am the doggies were awesome but dopey here could not sleep for toffee so I am running on reserve tanks this morning!! he he he he!!!

So this card is just a huge bit exciting for me! I was asked by my friend Vicky if I could make a card for her Grandad's birthday. He likes Lincoln she said...so if it could have something Lincoln on it that would be fab...Lou says yes, I can do that then Vicky says thats good he loves Lincoln and he has just been sworn in as the Mayor of Lincoln.....

The Mayor of Lincoln....omg...and I said yes I can do it? oooh the pressure.......!!! you can imagine how daftly nervous I was about this one then peeps?!! but once i had decided what I was going to do it all came together quite nicely!!

I coloured my little guy dreaming of all things Lincolny to match the Lincoln shield and then hid a cheeky little Lincoln imp in the tree! I added a map and a picture of our cathedral from some old postcards and then a teensy picture of our mayor himself just tucked into the top.

I popped a little key charm on for the keys to the city type thingy and added a little LOTV time to celebrate stamp for Vicky to add his birthday date on.

Its so sweet but omg...for the Mayor?!! I can't tell you how exciting that is for me. Nerve wracking but very very exciting to make a card for the Mayor!

Right I am off to catch up on some sleep as Scott has taken Mo and his breakfast buddy to school and my oldest friend (not in age but time!!) is popping in at 11am to fetch Riley's card I made for her, hopefully there will be some Riley snuggleage time in that visit too :) he he he!!!

Thank you for popping in on me

cool or what!!!! I loved this challenge, it was so much fun. I went for a smash page as I haven't done one in a couple of weeks and I was having withdrawal symptoms!!!

My smash pages are generally about thoughts that are going through my head at the time I get my little book of pinkness out!! I always choose the page I love first and then colour around that page!! so Lala got blue hair with funky dots in. I love the way she looks as if she is thinking about something.

I used my Blueprints 1 die set and Rustic hearts and  Lalaland heart banner for this layout too, they are AWESOME for smash pages!! they set you up with an awesome array of yummy layers. All I needed to do was add some Lou waffle and a yummy Amy Tangerine brad!!! Perfick!!!

Right, gots to go. I am doggy sitting for the 2 most gorgeous Schnauzers you have ever met so I need to have tea, have a shower, get some snuggle time in with Scott,Mo and Poppy before I head out for the night. I am staying with them for brekkie and a lovely walk and then coming home before their Daddy, who is working nights, gets home for some sleep.

Thank you for popping in on me

Gorgeous Giftboxes!!

Pillowbox Template from Twelve Crafters Crafting.
Papers and digi's from Colour Me Happy.

Morning everyone! its a soggy kinda day here so I thought I would cheer you all up with a pretties post :)

Its getting that wedding season time of year again and I was twiddling my fingers with what to make for a friend who is getting married to pop their gift in ( pennies and choccies need something a bit exciting to sit in!!) so I decided on the pillowbox template from the twelve Crafters Crafting cd rom.

Now I love the templates on this cd rom because if you have any of the older ones you can open the template up first and the change edition to go find the papers you want. I wanted something pretty so I went for the contented coffee collection on Colour me happy.

I printed out my pillowbox, scored it and then cut it out. Then I squished on some collal glue and clipped it together with a couple of bulldogs clips to hold it firmly until it dried whilst I got busy with the digi stamps.

First I chose the flowered frame and then I chose the 2 little birds and moved them over the frame until they were fitting where I wanted them. the great thing is you can resize the digi's easlily in the workspace to get them working together tickety boo!!

I coloured them up using my promarkers and added a little blossom to the tree branches too, so cute!! then I cut it all out, fiddly but oodles of fun.

I took my bulldog clips off the pillowbox and popped it out, folding in the ends, and then added some thick brown ribbon and tied it together with a little twine. Then I added a squidge of foam tape to the back of my little birds in a frame and adhered it to the top of the ribbon.

I adore these pillowboxes. They are such a beautiful way to wrap a little bit of something.....though if you live in my house they generally get stolen to fill with stones, marbles, rubber bands and soldiers and other random little boy stuff!

This little cutie arrived in my DT pack ( I tel you my DT pack rocked this month!!!) and I was itching to get him made into something.

I coloured him up with promarkers and added some glossy accents to his Dad Balloons and once they were dry I cut him out with the rounded banner stax.

The card base was fun to make with the gorgeous Beach Boardwalk papers, they are so cheerful. I added a little Artic Bazzill to mat but the papers really did the work for me on this one. A little yummy ribbon and paper cord and he was done! sooooo cute!!

Here is a glossy balloon shot! he he he!!

Heaven sent girlieness!!

Afternoon Peeps!!
I have been busy in the garden again with Scott, Mo is busy setting up his bedroom being an 'adventurer' ( this involves packing many play bags with 'Stuff' and wearing your woolly hat inside whilst making occasional murmurs of "oooh a new land, lets set up base here" to his adventurer assistant..dylan the toy dog....) so I have just had a lovely hour to myself making a super special candle and finishing off this gorgeous little new baby card.

Yes, its that cute little baby bear again but awwwwwwwww who could resist?!!!  the flowers are made with my mini royal roses die, love this die sooo much!! the roses are so pretty to out together. I punched some little fronds to go with them and added a few creamy coloured flowers from my stash just tucked inside.

The pink patterned paper are from my DCWV Nanna's nursery girl stack and I really do love this paper, its so delicate and pretty.

Right, I am going to pootle off now! I have a bowl of yummy homemade in the slow cooker chocolate rice pudding with my name on it! I am all for comfort food on a chilly day!! he he he he!!!

Hope you are all having a fabulous saturday!!
