Shaky A..everyday magic...

Image- Magic Everyday from Shaky A.
Morning everyone!!!!

I hope you are all waking up to super Saturdays!!! we are! We are taking Mo to my brothers cinema in town to watch The Neverending Story, its a complete classic and was one of my favs when I was a little girl so I am excited to go see it!! yes we have it on DVD at home but its just awesome to watch the classics on a big screen!!!

So today I have a make with one of my gorgeous friends, Alby, new digi stamp range. I absolutely adore them, they are just gorgeous and I really loved playing with this one.

I have been a bit unwell the last few days so this card took longer coming together than I wanted it to but I finally got it finished!!!! I wanted some dimension with my wreaths so I cut a few (..on my new Ebosser...eeeep...its AMAZING!!!) and then layered them up with some silicone glue. I added my teeny little butteflies because I wanted it to look whimsical like the image.

I cut the bits for the base of the card using my Die namics Blueprints 6 die set. I was still in a dimension kinda mood so I only adhered each end of the border strip to my card and let the middle pop out. It is so hard to take a piccy of how neat it looks because I suck at taking piccy's but it looks so sweet!!!

Right, got to go, time for the cinema!!!

Just for you, a hug in a mug!!!!

Papers- Paper Blossom.
Digi stamp- A hug in a mug.
Morning everyone!!

Its my turn to post over on the Get Funky and Craft blog this morning sharing one of Funky Hand's one of golden oldies teamed up with one of the newer digi stamps!!!

I absolutely adore the greens and pinks in this downloads and the patterns are some of my favorites too so a little bit of die cutting and punching later and I had all the layers I needed to make a quick card!! by layering up I managed to use a few of my favs from the collection!!! and oooooooooh my new Ebosser cuts dies so gorgeously!! one slip through the Ebosser and my little Cheery Lynn French Pastry Doily die popped all its intricate bits out as soon as it popped out the die ( normally I sit pricking the bits out for ages afterwards with my pokey tool!!!)

I inked the edges of each piece with vintage photo distress ink just to make sure each layer didn't melt into the one before. I love inking edges,it just finishes things off!!

I printed out the mug and then paper pieced it a bit so that the sentiment and hearts didn't get lost in the pattern, then I popped it out on some foam. I really do love these mugs, they are just perfect for quick cards.

So we are planning a lazy day today!! I need to pootle away with some crafty bits and Little Mo is a little off colour today so hopefully the magic powders are kicking in and moving things along for him (...which he will probably like because he is a little fed up with not hitting 'sausage' shape on the poo chart!!!)

Thank you for popping in on me!!

My card today has the super cute Happy Bugg on! I absolutely love her! I glossy accented her cake, hearts and name and they came out just gorgeous. I didn't want to add too many flowers so just a sprinkling in the corner was percfick!!

I hope you all have awesome days today. Thankyou so much for popping in to see me!

Saturated Canary challenge 53.......Paper Piecing!!

Afternoon Peeps!!!

Its time for a new challenge over on the Saturated Canary challenge blog and this week its a super one chosen by our gorgeous Jane. its....

"Paper Piecing"
so for this challenge we want to see your paper pieced goodness!

Now for the details....

You must use either a:
Saturated Canary Digi
Saturated Canary rubber stamp,
or Simply Sassy rubber stamp

I was in a stamping kinda mood so gorgeous Little Ladybug got inked up and treated to this delicious paper!!
Now I am on a mission at the moment to use my stroke only stunning 12x12 papers.......GASP!!! but they are all so gorgeous they really do need to see the light of day!! and I am also on a use as much of it as you can on one card mission so this one has it inside and outside,on her dress and flowers made with it too!! go me!!!

I even attached a little tulle to the bottom of her skirt to make her look all gorgeous then hid her magically into tonnes of the flowers I had made with my scraps from the card base!! I even had 3 flowers left over!!

So while you are reading this I will be on my way to the dentists.....arghhhhhhhhhhhh I so don't do dentists (thats why I always go with Mo so I can play the brave adult act whilst digging my fingers quietly into the palm of my hand with great pressure whilst sitting there faking a happy mummy with her mouth wide open and weird dentist(...though in honesty he is quite delicious....!!) poking his fingers in them!!!!) and even worser my back wisdom tooth chipped and is a little sore and ouchy and I am guessing he will call me back to check it out some more...sigh!!!

Thank you all so much for popping in on me, its so lovely to have some vistitors!!

I coloured them up with my pastel blue promarker and then added lots of different colours to the little super cute doorsies!!! awwwww!!!. A little bit of stickle power and sequin yumminess and I called it done.

I actually love this candle...might keep it for me....!! he he he he!!!

Right off to get some more paracetemol and mope around my front window incase the delivery dude brings my Ebosser!! I can't wait to have a go with it!!!!

Passion for Promarkers challenge 217...One for the boys!!!!

Image- Spider Henry.
Papers- Red Bazzill.

Good Morning Peeps!!

Its time for a new challenge over on the Passion for Promarkers challenge blog this morning and today its....

One for the Boys

and very excitingly we are sponsored by Clearly Besotted Stamps today!!

The challenge worked out kinda super for me as I had just had a boy order in!!!! I have had this gorgeous spider mouse freebie from Whiff of Joy for 3 years now and he got his first colouring up!! he is just so adorable I don't know why I haven't coloured him up sooner....and yes..there are some more coloured up Spider Henry's waiting to be turned into something cool sat on my desk!! he he he!!!

I used sandstone, cocoa and burnt sienna for his fluffy parts! poppy, crimson and burgundy for his reds and pastel blue, denim blue and midnight blue for the blues.

I love the gorgeous dies I used on this card as the Die namics mini chicken wire is just so cool!!! the letter dies are just a complete crafty chick staple neeeeeeed and the little Tim Holtz rosette die is just fun!!

Little Mo got on wonderfully at the hospital yesterday.  He was fabulously brave, took his dylan dog for support! Totally loving Dr Thomas at the hospital. He had a really good look at little Mo and a really good chat with him and after a really thorough check of his tummy Dr Thomas said he has bad constipation and a blocked 'poo garage' ( ya'll know how much Mo loved that saying!!!) So he has special powder coming and hopefully within a few months he will be able to maintain his bowel s on just one dose a day. when he felt his tummy he said it was all blocked and the vomitting and temps are from the pain he gets which Dr said can be really intense and uncomfortable for little ones,so hopefully he will start to feel much better soon! he is loving the poo scoring bit...euwww typical boy! this is what he has to look at to do it, I  the descriptions aimed at children....made it so much easier for me!! romfl!!! Here is a link if you want to peek in on it, I found it super duper helpful.
And the Mo quote of the day was....

" mummy!! I know why they are called paediatricians!!! Its because they always take your pee!!'........sigh....

Rigth must pootle off!! I have Django in doggy daycare today so he and Poppy are just schnuffling in the garden and I need to get the washing machine on!
