Seam Binding- Limoges Blue from the Ribbon Girl.
Hi peeps!!
Well I couldn't resist a little make this afternoon with one of the stunning new images in the Saturated Canary shop!! and I wanted to play along in The Ribbon Girl challenge blogs 'anything goes' challenge too so a good old bit of multi tasking for the afternoon made me quite happy!!!!

I used my same old fav colour promarkers to colour her up and then layered up a few yummy papers from the Prima 'All about me' stack...ooooh its yummy and totally stroke only but I just had to use a couple of sheets!!! and talking about 'buy it and keep it yumminess' I actually managed to break out my seam binding from The Ribbon Girl...gulp...I even cut it wit scissors...yes there were small wimpers as I did it...lol!! I added a little twine bow and a aster daisy to the top just to finish it all off.

I am quite proud of myself for keeping it fairly CAS!! go me!!!

Oh and don't forget that there is a mini challenge going on over on the Saturated Canary Facebook page!! you can read about it HERE on our Facebook page.

Cupcake Thief.....

Morning peeps!!

How are you all this gorgeous monday morning? great I hope. I am still at work but I am sure it is a gorgeous day all the same! he he he he!! I will be home around 7:10am for a huge mug of espresso to keep me going for the school run and then its head to the pillow for the day when I get back!
Onto my gorgeous make for today! I do love this card, thinking of sending it to myself!!! lol!!!

I am pretty lucky because my weekend always starts with my make for my blog post here on a monday and I always totally enjoy that make. I kick back, pop spotify on and just make away whilst my little guy pootles around enjoying his saturday morning! its fab. We are early risers so then we have all day to chill and play together, I love it!!

And lets be honest if you have an awesome set of Die-Namics Blueprints 3 and a pile of stroke only, use if you must Pion papers it makes card making super easy! there are so many awesome combo's it can get on your card base for you. I adore scruffing up edges and layering, it just makes it feel all homey and cute! I was lazy this weekend and crafted at the table in our lounge so it was scissor scuffing instead of my Distrezz it all tool but the edges still look scrummy and I do so love a layered up torny bit, I think they look so neat. My friend Chris taught me how to do that a few years ago at a demo and I always think of her when I do one of these. I added a little cotton twine bow to this one.

I am popping her over on the challenge on DP2 which is lots of layers.

Right enough Lou waffles boring you over your breakfasts!!!

Thanks for popping in

Its a SOG kind day!!!

Hi peeps!!

Today I am having a pottering kinda day! you know one of those days where you just make whatever you fancy and go with the flow?! yup a kinda Spunky Sprite kinda day!!!! I love me so happy and she screamed happy at me this morning so I just had to pop her on some form of card!!!

It was very much a case of grab some papers from my stroke only pile, grab a Blueprints set with a bow die on it so I can play along with the challenge over at Papertake Weekly which is Bow Dies and just splodge it all on!! yey!!!! super fun!!

I coloured her up last week with my promarkers and a touch of sparkle, she's just adorable. You can just about make out some of the sparkle on her wings, flower in her hair and dress on this picture below, I am not sure I will ever master the showing of the sparkliness when taking bloggy pictures!!!

I added a whole tonne of little punched flowers too...I told you I was in a splodge it all on kinda mood!!! but to be honest the Dienamics Blue prints 3 set makes such a beautiful base and I really loved adding some teensy blooms to it for her to hide in!

Right, after being blurgh poorly yesterday my tummy is rumbling away for some lunch today so I am off to feed it!! Thank you so much for popping in on me

Image- Everyday Princess from Tiddly Inks.
Papers- My Girl from American Crafts.
Die- Tim Holtz Tag and bookplates.
Morning peeps!!

Its time for a new challenge over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and this week its.....

...oh yeah... I almost cried at this one!! but luckily I had a tricksie up my sleeve in the form of a gorgeous blogging friend who is a total tag queen, Catherine, oh my her tags make you drool, so I spent a good cuppa looking through her tags before I started mine!!

I printed my little Everyday Princess out 3 times so I could ra-ra up her skirt!! he he he!! oh I so used to love my ra-ra skirt when I was little!! then it was just a case of splodging it all together to make a tag!! I added a little gauze and one of the little mini topper sentiments from my paper stack.

For the top of the tag I just turned around one of the bookplates from my die set and glued it on adding a squidge of ribbon and a flower from my stash.

So pop on over to the challenge blog and drool over the rest of the girls creations, I am warning you that you may need a tissue before you go!!! the tags are just awesome and I will totally be bookmarking that one for inspiration!!!

Mo and I had our first go at making fudge last night! it was tonnes of fun!! and its super yummy too!! he wanted to make chocolate flavour so that was even better!! today I am going to pop and get some more bits so I can make a WW fudge for me!!! here's the recipe I will be using if anyone out there wants it!! and today we are on a gingerbread house! I love that he still wants to do these things with mummy at 9, I am treasuring every moment with my little guy!!

Have an awesome day peeps!

Make a scene with magnolia? ooooh yes please!!!!

coloured with promarkers.

Morning everyone!

I hope you are all waking up to magical mondays!! I just had to have a magnolia day for mine! I just love them so much, and there are a tonne of totally gorgeous papers and Doo Hickey dies to choose from too so  I thought all out Magnolia monday would be fun!!!

I was totally oooh and ahhhhh'd by my gorgeous crafty friends LindaBecky and Jenny with the Totally Tilda blogs Masking challenge so I just had to join in!!

I just let myself go with colouring her up. I masked her up with some frisket and then stamped the background over her, then whipped off the frisket and there I had a lovely little scene!!

Here is a bit more of a blingy shot to show the sparklies I added with my clear star sakura pen. She has a beautiful shimmer around her and on the flowers, fence and tree's too..

I am still practising the just a hint of colour on clothing and I love how gentle this came out, love my blender pen!!! he he he he! I went for colouring my grass and tree's with a tonne of dots, all greens and browns dotted in together.

I wanted the fence to pop out from the card so I attached it with my tiny attacher. The gauze is from my crafty stash.
...and here's a liey down oooh look at the pop picture!! he he he he!!!

She really is a sweetheart.

Right, time for a cuppa and a snuggly with Mo before school. Have a great day everyone and thank you so much for popping in on me

huge hugs Lou xxx
