Eva.....

Promarkers-
skin- Burnt sienna,caramel and sandstone.
Dress- coral,sunkissed pink and blush.
Morning everyone!!

well I am running a squidge behind with posting today! not sure why! I just seem to be a bit slow today!!!

Its my turn to post over on the SC Inspiration blog and today I decided to ink up the stunning Eva stamp. I do just love her so much because she reminds me of my 2 little sisters, so i went with their skin colours for this one.

And oh my, those papers!! I broke into my stroke only Bo Bunny collection pack for this one because I needed some floaty light paper gorgeousness and of course a couple more pages of that fabulous 7 Dots Studio The Queens Heart. I love those sentiments they have written in there and they are just right for the feel I wanted for this card, like a dreamy floaty go out there and get what you want kinda mood.

Well, I have the munchies. I am feeling so much better today so I am going to go for it and grab a cuppa and a couple of slices of toast whilst I have a womble through facebook and bloggy land!

Huge hugs for you all, thank you for popping in on me!

Divas By Deisgn challenge...Flower Power!!

Papers-Basic Grey Sultry 12x12 collection.
coloured with promarkers.
Morning peeps!!

Its time for a new challenge over on the Divas By Design challenge blog and this week its just a bit of a gorgeous one!! Its....

Flower Power
and we are sponsored by
Live & Love Crafts

Well, Mothers day is coming up so I went all out flower power for my mum!! I am not sure I have ever put so many flowers on a card! especially big ones but luckily the 8x8 size of the card left plenty of room for adding some flowery froofiness!!!

And oh my!! when my Dt pack came from Tracy at Dies to Die For and this stamp was in I squeeeeeed as loud as squeeees can be!!!! it is perfect for my mum because of the littlle Daxie dog. My mum loves them and has had lots of them in her life, her last one. Tara, who passed a few years ago, was a long haired tan one so I coloured this one up tan.

Even those super little banners come in the stamp set, I just stamped them out, cut around the black one and then gave the 'you're pretty' some banner treatment to by snipping out a couple of triangles!!

I also added a squidge of cheesecloth, 'mum' in alpha stickers from my Basic Grey Sultry collection pack and then punched some teeny flowers using the scraps of paper from making my card base.

Right, got to go, need to pop to Tesco to get some pack up bits for Mo!!

Thank you for popping in

Tiddly Inks challenge 129...Birthdays!!!

Morning peeps!

Its time for a new challenge over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and this one is super fun!! its....
(Only cards with Tiddly Inks images or Stamping Bella
rubber stamps are eligible for prizes.)

And it came just in time for my big boys 14th birthday (...eeeeekkkkk 14?!!!) so I had super fun making that just a bit special for my boy kinda card!!!!

I coloured up my uber cute little stamps in my promarkers and then snipped them out. The little smiley face stamp was just perfect for making some kinda fun balloony things and then I just needed to add the old faithful heart banner!! he he he!! well, its a must!!!

The papers are from my Crate Paper Storyteller paper pad, mine is 12x12 but I couldn't find a 12x12 pad to link in for you :( but super yey! I found a 6x6 one in the DTDF shop so I linked that in for you all instead. The papers are just the same but a squidge smaller than the ones you can see on this card.

Here's a side shot to show the 'pop' dimensions on this card, its just fab! its squishes flat to go into your envelope! winner winner chicken dinner!!! lol!!

I am finally feeling a teensy bit more alive today so I am going to walk the dogs and then sit and read the autism book my friend Kristie has lent me to learn a bit more about my little Mo now he has been diagnosed with it. Life is still the same for us at home, no changes there at all, and school? well his school are just so awesome that they already knew and had made some pretty awesome changes for Mo already so we are super blessed really to of found them. But what his diagnosis does mean is that from now on he will have the support he needs to bloom which is so important to me.
I must be honest and say I do feel extremely let down and hurt by Mo's old school. I have some feelings there that I need to work through in a big way to resolve them from my heart and head. They let Mo down and they let me down because we asked and asked for help with Mo and they couldn't see a problem? whereas the amazing Dr at the hospital we went to see and Mo's new school saw a problem right away?! mmmmmmm? but in true Bad Boys style Whoooooosa I am going to heal my hurts!!

Right, on with the day!!
Have a super duper special one peeps!!

Puppy Luv.......

Stamp- Puppy Luv.
coloured with promarkers.
Morning everyone!
I've been a little off it the past couple of days but managed to have a little relaxing colouring time on saturday after a good old dose of tablets!!...sadly that was the only bit of good I felt all weekend but it was good while it lasted!!! romfl!!

Do you ever have those stroke only papers that just sit under lock and key until the perfect stamp for them comes along?!!! well I do!!! lol!!!! the 7 dots studio 'The Queens Heart' papers are just that for me, they are just sooo beautiful you don't want to touch them (well...other than stroking them that is!!) Its one of those pads you use that just don't need any help from flowers and embellies but just do it all for you. My fav paper from this pad is the one with the text 'make it happen' on it. And luckily it goes kinda well with the Bildmalarna christmas love papers too!!!

All I needed to do was colour up my super gorgeous Puppy Luv stamp and add it to the card! I did do a teensy bit of ripping just to add a little more and a little twine bow.

Right, off to try and alive myself for the school run then its back to bed to try and rest off this blooming awful pain :(

Thank you for popping in on me

Baby Girl.....

Hi everyone!

I wanted to share my Button Babies baby card with you all. I made it using the gorgeous new Button Babies download. It really is such a sweet download, I love it!
Button Babies downloadable backing papers
I also love layers! so I printed out a few of the papers in the pinks and layered them with some kraft. Then I cut out the letters and some butterflies and just plopped them on all whimsically.

Thank you for popping in on me! I have cheesy sandwiches to make for Mo's pack up and my breakfast to nibble on so its off to the kitchen for me!!

Passion for promarkers challenge 238....Butterfly Kisses...

Stamp- Butterfly Tilda.
Papers- Magnolia.
Promarkers-
Browns- Burnt sienna, caramel and sandstone.
pinks- Burnt orange, coral, sunkissed pink and blush.
Blues- Midnight blue, Denim blue and pastel blue.
Good morning peeps!!

Its time for a new challenge over on the Passion for Promarkers challenge blog and this week its set by our Eileen. This weeks challenge is....
Butterfly Kisses
So..add a butterfly to your make!!

and we are sponsored by
and Crafty Sentiments who will be giving 3 digi's this week.

I just had to go with Butterfly Tilda, some delicious magnolia papers and some punched butterflies to add a bit of pumpf to the layers!! I love how this card turned out.

I always stamp the delicate antenna's on these Tilda's onto acetate with staz-on, cut them out and then stick them to the back's of their head! the acetate is sooooo much easier to maneuver around because of the clear acetate you can leave a little more room around them and they don't get snipped off by accident.

Right, I need to go make Mo's salad sandwich for his pack up!!! I lead such an exciting life!! he he he he!!!

Thank you for popping in on me and have a totally awesome day!

Ellie says Hi!!!

 Stamp- Ellie says Hi.

Morning everyone! another monday has come rolling by and its me, Lou, in with another make using the fabulous new Tiddly Inks stamps.

I have a thing for cards with dimension! I love that 'pop' they give. This one was cut on my silhouette machine but there is an awesome die in the shop that can do this card shape base too, its the Cheery Lynn Step Card.

I masked the bottom of my image mat off with a scrap of card and then stamped Ellie onto it. I love doing that rather than having her look like she was just splodged on (...lou thinks about that and then thinks...nah..people know I just splodge right?!!!!) gave her a quick colour up wth my promarkers and then got to work on the playing around with the base!! thats my favourite bit!! he he he!!

I added a little fencing and some gorgeous butterflies to make it feel all floaty and cheery. Ellie comes with a few options of what to pop in her speech bubble, I went for one of the 'Hi's'.

Here's a front view for you to peek at!! she is just soooo cute!!

Well, I was on holiday last night from work, bit of a surprise one but a nice one! I am off next sunday too but I knew about that one for a while!

On saturday we had a wonderful day and all Mo wanted to do was go to the library so off we pootled and 15 books later he had a wonderful day on the settee reading. Now he may have many Mo-isms but his reading we have always loved. He gets completely lost in a book and I just love it. Here he is at lunchtime..he did move to go to the loo a couple of times but he sat there until 3:30pm just reading!!!
Have a wonderful day everyone.

Its another bag!!!

Hi everyone!!!

well, I wasn't going to bore you all with another Lou handbag card but then I saw the new Ribbon Girl lovely lili's animals challenge and I just had to share this little set I was working on this morning to play along with their gorgeous challenge!!

The lady who the card is for loves lilac so I had to squeeeeze the lilac in with the green coloured radley-ish bag. I picked the 'Emma Walkies' because Mavis loves dogs so trying to tie it all in with an LOTV stamp just makes it so easy!!

Here's a close up of the card.....

I didn't have a light green promarker so I blended my olive and pear green with primrose to get the lights on the dress, I love how it turned out!
This piccy below is the card sitting in its little bag. I coloured in some white thickers adhesive letters with my lavender promarker and then popped them on one of my lacey oval nesties inside the box....
and here's a little piccy of the card all nestled into its little Radley-ish bag ready to go!! I know I am pants at drawing and cutting out little Radley-ish dogs but they give the right effect I hope!! lol!!!
well, the boys of the house are back from the tip! we have had a wonderful day in the gorgeous sunshine so far, we had a lovely walk along the viking way with the dogs, then we have spent the rest of the day attempting to sort out the back garden a bit, it looked dreadful after a winter of small boys and sticks and his four pawed helper getting toys out and digging holes together!!! we piled a tonne of throwing out stuffs, old scooters, deaded balls etc into the car and it feels sooooo much better now!

Have a wonderful day!

Handbag birthday card....

Morning everyone!!

How are you all this morning? I am so behind with the bloggy world this week I need to have a good old catch up!!! so I can finally share this uber cute little 'Radley' bag I made for one of the lovely ladies at work who is celebrating her birthday today, and she LOVES Radley bags so I just had to make another little handbag!! I love these!!

I super loved making this. I had to draw the little Radley-ish dog by hand but he came out ok!!!! Here it is open...

My trusty silhouette machine helped me with some nifty '50' cutting numerals and Eileen's name, that I blinged up a squidge with my glitter spicas!!
The little card is full of pages so we could all sign it! I used just one sheet of double sided patterned paper for the card and the inside of the bag, the look so cute all co-ordinated. The card was just a teensy 4x4 size, sooo cute!!!

A little closer in on the card! its really tricky to take piccies of blinged up writing!! but it really did look pretty IRL!!
Right, better go really, need to get Mo sorted for school. ooooh and I am quite chuffed this mornig too because at 5:20am as Mo was pootling through 'Lego ideas' on pinterest he saw a little box that he decided he needed "for Lego on the go mummy"...

Luckily I had the little Ikea box in my craft room from storing something..!! lol!! and we had a spare big grey lego board so a snip here and there and a few blobs of hot glue and wohoooo we were ready to go!!!! needless to say Mo is quite chuffed this morning and mummy can finally say...Pinterest...Nailed it!!!!!!

Thank you for popping in
huge hugs Lou xxx

Divas By Design challenge...Let's hear it for the boys!!!

Morning peeps!!

I hope you are all waking up to a wonderful wednesday! I am in with my DT make for the Divas By Design challenge blog and this week I was so excited to sit and play away on my make because its for my little guy!! so can you guess the challenge theme yet/!! yup, its....

Let's hear it for the boys!!
This week we are sponsored by Crafty charlie.

Mo absolute LOVES pirates! He actually bought this magnolia pirate Edwin stamp himself a couple of years ago so naughty mummy has been pinching his stamps again but he is soooo worth it!! the boat and the barrel are both mine though so i don't feel guilty about inking those cuties up at all!!! he he he he!!!

I decided to make him a little hanger for his bedroom door. I splodged and distressed some papers together. I loved the little tag with 'Thousands of little Moments' written on it. I underlined the Mo in moments, Mo loved that bit when I showed him the tag last night!!

Right, I had better get a movey on! I need to cook Mo pasta salad for his lunch box and finish off his horrid henry shirt for world book day tomorrow!!

Huge hugs for you all
Lou xxx
