Morning Peeps!!!Well, I am functioning on espresso's this morning after a fantastic electrical storm here in Little old bracebridge heath last night, omgosh it was awesome. Little Mo was only disturbed for around 30 mins but I was so hot and sticky with the humidity that I just couldn't get back to sleep so I went downstairs to watch it with the dog and it was so pretty, the entire sky was white with light until around 3:30 am this morning!!!! I took myself back off to bed but then Little Mo woke up at 4:45am so espresso is the key ingredient to my day!!!!
So here is my little niece's birthday card, she is 4 today, Happy birthday Harriet!!!! and we will be seeing her later for a pirates and princess's party, Yarrrr!!!!
I use one of my most gorgeous gorjuss girls from my lovely friend Kat. I coloured her up with my promarkers, think it was peach and antique pink!! and her hair is a muddle of vanilla, sandstone and tan.
I popped her out from the card with some silicone and doodled her a little shadow with pastel beige onto the star.
The backing papers and cute star are from nitwits fbq bear necessities download, all with a bit of frayed burlap distressing around the edges!!!
I cut the letters on my cricut with doodletype and for the first time ever I used crackle accents, ooohhhhh i love it but I could not for the life of me get a fab piccy of it!!
I had to have a bit of a martha border in there because it is so cute!!
The little rose at the bottom right edge of the star is from my stash along with a few martha punched little fronds that I spritzed up with my champagne crafty notions spray.
The inside matches the outside papers.
Well I had better go and get me dressed!! I am in a bit of a lazy mood today!!!!

Oh Lou this is just adorable and the colours just blend so well. I can see that leaf/branch is going to be a great assets to the collection. Did I tell you I'm have extra birthdays this year just so I can get some more lovely cards !!!!

ReplyDeleteWe need a storm around here I've had a terrible headache for a few days and I'm sure it has to do with the humidity though I would prefer to sleep through it as lightning frightens me lol what a wimp I am!
