Bronte Kisses.....

Hi everyone!

I'm in with my Dream Team post for you today. I fancied stepping away from the norm and doing a bit of a sympathy/understanding card for my make this week due to seeing that one of the lovely craft shops I buy my bits from had lost her mum and I had a lovely new center picture window card die to play with again I bought from them too so went for using 2 of my favourite images, Bronte Kisses and Life is like a balloon.

This is the outside of the card....

The gorgeous papers are the Bronte Design Papers. Maurie added them to the store for you because...well...I begged!! he he!!!

They really are just the sweetest papers. I used the pink toned one for the outside and inside of my card. Here's a closer look at inside...

and a little video of how teeny and just darn cute it is!!! .....

Tiddly Inks challenge #223....Succulent colour palette

Dies- Lawn Fawn scalloped pop up box card.

Morning all!!

It's time for the Tiddly Inks March challenge and some colour inspiration fun from the amazing Seeds Design colour palettes again. This Succulent Hues colour scheme is just perfect for some spring fun!!
(**remember...We love to see any new creation, a card, 3D project, journal page etc
but you MUST use a Tiddly Inks stamp or image **)

Aren't those colours just divine???

I just had to play with my Lawn Fawn pop up box die, I really do love a make with a bit of pop and fun and these are just great for adding in those little extras in the little layer parts.

Squeeeee!! it really did just turn out so cute!! I paper pieced her little party hat and skirt with some scraps I had left from cutting out the box layer papers, I do love a double sided paper! these ones are from my stroke only MME 6x6 paper stash...I will cry actual tears when they run out so using every little bit is a winner for me. I even used some for the cute little banner pennants on the back panel.

Right, I need to get a cuppa!! my workout is done for the day and there's just the school run to do and pawsy peeps to walk and I might just get out to my little crafty room for a play.

I really do feel like I am coming out of the fog of grief for my Dad now. I will ALWAYS feel his loss greatly but the tears are turning into smiles more and more when I think of him instead of a snotty mess so I am taking that as a win. But my oh my, do I wish you all knew how amazing he was. He was simply just the very best.

Stars....

Image- Stars.
Background and banner paper- Moon Baby.
other stamps-
Lawn Fawn Upon a Star.
Dies- Memory Box stars.

Hi everyone,

I'm nipping in today with a little shadow box card using the beautiful image, Stars.

And I've got to be honest, it's based on me, gazing up to those stars and hoping to catch just a glimpse of where my Dad would be up there. Sunday's are really quite hard for me still because that's the day Dad Facetime's us all and I miss it so much it hurts in my tummy. I am though, forever grateful to of had a Dad that meant so much to me that the loss I feel now he is gone is real and I can feel it so deeply, like so many, many others that knew him. We are all at a complete loss. I am finding crafting away quite difficult at the moment and I am a little under the weather today too, but it really does lift my spirits up when I can make a little something like this inspired by Dad than nothing at all.

The gorgeous paper on the background and the little banner is the star background paper that comes with the Moon Baby image. I adore it and knew it would be just perfect for my little pair as they gaze up to that heart.

That little heat embossed heart glows in the dark and it looks so super sweet but I just cannot get a photo of it!!!

Thank you so much for popping in on me, huge hugs Lou xxx

Grooving Jake..........

Image- Grooving Jake from MIC.
Dies- Magic Color Slider from Lawn Fawn.
Papers- Crate Paper Boys Rule.
Afternoon all!!!

I've had a hectic kind of morning having my CT scan (...whoot whoot though! totally escaped needing a cannula for contrast which I was worried about!!!) and I am only just getting to turning on my big pooter for blogging and general friday noseying around the internet!! he he!! but I have been so excited for my MIC Gal posty day to come around so I could share this super fun make with you....

squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! I LOVE it!! especially since when I saw our next Make It Crafty Colouring challenge- Skin- was going to be skin I could not think of what the floof to do for the challenge!!

Then Zoe sent us the fabulous new Sweet Teens images . I was sat at my pooter listening to my Spotify playlist and on pinged A-Ha with 'Take on Me'........Oh!!!! Mind Blown!! I had a whoot whoot Bingo!!! moment and knew exactly what I wanted to do with Grooving Jake.

I printed Jake out twice, once on my normal colouring cardstock and once onto some Printable Acetate ( I get mine from Swedish Housecrafts so I linked it in for you all). Then it was just a case of using my scrumptious Magic Colour Slider dies to cut evrthing out tickety boo.

I coloured Jake up using all my Promarker Warm Greys to get that super cool 'cartoon character' effect and then once he was all ready to go I had super fun popping him into the little slider to make it look like a cartoon 'cell'

Now, I'll not waffle on any longer as y'all are probably having to click on your own tracklists to play the song some more....(........swoooooooooon....Morten Harket still does it for me!!! bwah ha ha ha!!!!)

Thank you for popping in, huge hugs Lou xxx

Merry Christmouse....

Magnolia tree from Doo Hickey 2.

Morning everyone!

Well, I could waffle on and on about my make this morning but seriously the only words that keep coming to mind are 'squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee' and 'so Caaaaaauuuuuuute!!!!!'. I had the best fun making it with my scrummy new  Lawn Fawn Scalloped box card die, and check out those super cute little baubles on the sentiment!! I made those using the new Roxstamps star ornament dies.

I loved making his little scene too. The Lawn Fawn Puffy cloud border made such fun little snowdrifts for him to nestle on to. The trees are from my Doo Hickey 2 set from Magnolia, I cut them in green and kraft cardstock to make them 'pumf' out a bit and added a little puffy white embossing powder to them for snow. Ooohhh I did love making this card soooo much!!! I love a krafternoon like that!!

I was so excited to see all the wonderful new christmas images, it was a bit like being a child in a sweetie shop trying to choose one! and don't forget, there is 15% off until December 1st!!

Right, I need to get a wriggle on. I have got a bit of pain in my left axilla and ribs so I've snaffled up some tablets and got dressed......into my fleecy pj's that my BF's got me in february when I had my op!! they are so comfy and I'm positive no one will notice on the school run! then it's back home for a bit more crafting fun!

Thank you for popping in,Huge Hugs Lou xxxx

Tiddly Inks challenge #202...Make it Rectangle...

Pull tab sentiment- Lawn Fawn Push here.

It's time for another fun challenge over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog and this month the Tiddly Inkers want you to think.....

Make it rectangle!

 So think rectangle card/project bases!

(**remember...We love to see any new creation, a card, 3D project, journal page etc
but you must use a Tiddly Inks stamp or image **)

I could not resist another Magic Slider card make, oh my do I love this die set for super cuteness!! and to go with slider cuteness, I went for one of my fave clear stamp sets.... Wryn Berry Sweet clear stamp set.
This is how this lil cutie opens....eeeeep! I csn't get over how much I adore this magic!!! sooo cute!

It's a bit grey and wet here today so I think I am going to spend a little time in my craft room today. My chest is a little sore and tight from my chemo so making some stuff will be a welcome distraction!! I am still finding the Picc Line a bit of a tricky experience! lol! it feels sooooo strange just sitting there and it's still quite sore from the bruising and bits around having it put in, so I have made myself a little cover with an old long sleeve t-shirt and re-named it Picc-akchu to cheer myself up!!

Right, time for a warm drink and to get the Mo-ster bundled off to school.

Huge hugs and thank you's for popping in on me, Lou xxxx

There's Snow place like home............

Morning everyone!

I'm in for you today with a make using Lawn Fawn Snow Cool. This is such a sweet little set and wahooooooooooooo! it's not geared to only being a christmas set! which was blooming fabulous as my friend's will be moving in a few weeks time and a winter new home card is just what I wanted to make!! yey!!!!

I had a couple of my little Die Namics Stitched Jumbo Fishtail banner Stax left that I had made up to make a banner for the open day with some Lou colouring on, they are so easy to make and a whole tonne of fun for just having some colouring fun. The post service devoured my first banner (...grrrrr....) so I made another as quickly as I could.

Because it was already made up, I quickly cut out another banner frame in paper to pop over the top of my made up banner piece to protect the frame as I stamped. I wanted my little scene to be confined within the frame.

I stamped my first little igloo and then masked it off to get the other 2 on there, placed either side of the first one.....( let's take a moment to thank the delicious Misti for it's help in the making of this card!! oh my days, I can't tell you how easy it makes it!!).

A little pop of putting the 2 super cute penguins popped up on some foam and then making up my little sentiment finished with a snowflake and poomf!!!! cute new home card a la Lou'd!! he he!!

Thank you for popping in
Huge hugs Lou xxx

Ready, set, snow....

Papers- Bo Bunny Mistletoe.
Morning all!!

well, I am not ashamed to admit I am still enjoying pootling along with some wintery makes....and....if I am totally honest...jealous that my makes have snow and we don't where I live!!!

I really enjoyed playing with this gorgeous little set! you can just do your own thing with the huge range of stamps in the set!! so cute!!

I die cut the globe on a separate bit of paper and popped it out form the card base, oh my, it looks soooo cute!!!!!!

Today we are off out for a little drive to get some hamster bedding floof and just shake off that cabin fever feeling! we managed a bit of a play outside yesterday but it is sooooo windy here. Luckily no rain or terrible flooding as we have seen from other areas in the UK. Our thoughts have been so fixed on all of those affected over this christmas period. We have been watching the news in disbelief :(

Right, woofer walk and then out!!

Thank you for popping in, huge hugs Lou xx

You're a star! .........

Hi everyone!!

I thought I would squeeze a make in today as I had a thank you card to make and my little guys Lawn Fawn stamp collection was too cute to miss out on using!! he he he! bad mamma alert...but seriously....could you resist these cuties????

I used one of my MME coastal card blanks for this one and then some papers that are just so prefect for casual under the sea-ness,  The Scrapcake One moment in time.

I also just had to get in using my DieNamics Blueprints 24  set. It is still one of my absolute favs to play with and just perfect for rectangle cards which I will be honest and say I really struggle with!!

We have had the best morning at Mo's school sports day! it was fabulous, lovely weather, happy children and even a visit from a real ice cream van for their treat!!! it was amazing! we had picnic lunch and have just arrived home to let the woofers out for a wee and play before we head back to fetch our little man. He was so excited because he got a sticker for coming last in the running and sack races. I love how they do that because he always comes last and it is just as celebrated as first place.

I need a cuppa to keep me going for the rest of the day though! I see an early night coming!!!

Thank you for popping in, hugs Lou xxx
