Peeking Sloth....

Images- Peeking Sloth.
Good morning all!!

I hope you are all waking up to a magical monday!

This morning I decided on having some good old merging fun with the super cute  Peeking Sloth. I just adore him. His sleepy, happy little face just makes my heart feel happy! and he is a good start for a monday when you aren't quite feeling up to speed and trying to teach your little guy trigonometry right??!!!!

That gorgeous cloudy sky is from Laura. I positioned it so that those dreamy clouds were just above his head. Then it was onto that lovely wall for him to peek over. The wall is from the stunning Autumn Entrance set.

I really enjoyed making this card this morning so I hope it makes you all smile!

Huge hugs Lou xxx

Carry the Cake!!

Image- Carry the Cake.
Background paper- Laura.
Morning everyone!!

Birthday season is well and truly upon me so I have been busy stocking up on good old birthday cards!! I used Carry the Cake for this one and that gorgeous background paper from Laura. I love how it makes such a sweet cloud and sky background for any image to happily sit on. That super cute Happy cake day sentiment comes with Carry the Cake.

The papers I used are golden oldie Doodlebug ones but they are just so cheery I can't resist using them. They have a lovely glossy finish on them too so look so gorgeous with those little green sequins sprinkled around.

We had such a gorgeous weekend. On Saturday we drove over to Bakewell and had a magical day of exploring and Geocaching and on Sunday we took a drive to Hemswell to have a look around the car boot sale. Scott and Mo have a hobby of collecting 50p coins together so they look for people selling those. They are also doing the same with £2 coins and they found a few they have been looking for yesterday so they were ever so pleased!!

Right, time for me to get my butt into gear!! I am really rather desperately starting to wish for the end of school term now and Mo is very much the same. He is absolutely tired out and ready to stop now. I really do feel for him, and any other amazing little ASD peeps that suffer hugely with anxiety, by this time of term. Mo can normally go a good 3 weeks and then it all begins to get way too much for him to deal with bless him. I really do feel for them so much in my heart, can you even imagine having a medical diagnosis that means you cannot cope well with social situations only to have to go to one of the biggest ones each day? but we are almost there! It's the 1st of July today so we have just 18 more days until school finishes!!

Thank you so much for popping in, Huge hugs Lou xx

Pirates........

Images- Pirates.
Background - Laura.
Papers- Echo Park -It's a pirates life.
Good morning everyone!

I'm in with my Monday Dream Team make today and I just couldn't resist a little more merging fun! It's such an effortless way to get a scene using a digital image and well, let's face it....it's just too cute!!!!!

This time I merged the super sweet new Pirates onto the beautiful watercolour Prairie background in the Laura image. I kid you not, that background is good for so many different images. I adore it! Teamed with some gorgeous papers, Echo Parks 'It's a Pirates Life', a little cotton gauze, twine and of course, an anchor charm for added seafaring fun, it was done!

I have had a slow couple of weeks with making cards because we've finally been moving all the last bits of my craft stash out of the spare room and I've painted it, Scott has put up a gorgeous new blind and we've had new carpet laid all in time for us to buy some new wardrobes to go in there in about a months time.

I'm really looking forward to getting back into my little crafty routine again this week. It's funny how much you can miss something when you've had a couple of weeks of not doing it like you normally would!!

Right, time for me to get ready for the day! I'm going to walk the pawsy members of the family before the school run and then we need to nip to Aldi and get some veg and bits for the week ahead before Scott has his ultrasound done.

Have a wonderful day everyone, Huge hugs and love, Lou xxxxx

Laura........

(watercolour background and extra grass included in the download)

Good morning everyone,
Lou in with a post for you today using the stunning new Laura. I wanted to keep this card CAS because for me, the words are the important bit.

It's been one of those weekends! there were wonderful parts and then parts where I really, really needed my Galations (....and maybe a good glass of whisky too!!!!!) yup! I get those blurghy times and they are kinda hurty aren't they? so I felt so much more at ease making myself a little CAS card and thinking about stuffs. It helps so much.

Isn't she just wonderful? here she is for you to click on to ping magically to the shop and pop her in your pail!! he he!!!

Right, the kettle has a cuppa with my name on it and its the last day of the holidays with my gorgeous lil man so I am going to soak up snuggles and just be at peace with myself today!!!

Thank you for popping in
