Little Fairy Maxi from Mo's Digital Pencil.

Coloured with Distress Ink Markers.
Hello all!!

Well, it's definitely been a long time since I popped in on my blog...so long, in fact, that it has done some updates and now writing my post feel rather foreign to what I can remember it looking like and it's taken me a hot minute to work out all these whizzy new icons up there!!!

We have been busy in our little Daubney world. Little Mo has grown (....like a weed, he is taller than me now and I am the official tiny person in the family!!!) He has settled nicely at college, going a whole year early and is hoping to move onto a Level 1 Animal Management course in September. They have been amazing during covid and he has still been going as normal for his 2 days each week. He also did amazing in his exams, he has now got a 9,9 in Combined Science (double award), a 6 in English Language and a 5 in Math (which he chose foundation level and 5 was the highest grade you could get). We are soooo proud of him. At the moment he is really enjoying doing an NCFE Level 2 Cookery Course for his home learning on a Monday and Tuesday too so he is keeping himself nice and busy.

I lost my card making mojo for a little spell, then I got it back but had lost the blogging mojo so after a walk in the sunshine this morning and a cuppa I decided to take the blogging bull by the horns and get back to it!! I'm so pleased I did.

And onto my card for today! I actually made this over a month ago now but she is way too cute not to make my first post back with! this is Little Fairy Maxi. She will be coming to Mo's Digital Pencil really soon but I am lucky enough to be a member over on Mo's Digital Pencil Patreon Page. I coloured her up with my distress ink markers (my newest way to colour and I am loving it!!).Then of course, added some Lou froo and she was done! but seriously, how cute is she???!!

I'm going to enter the challenge over at Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge Blog because I haven't entered a gorgeous challenge in so long.

Right, time for another cuppa. The sun has actually come out here today and the garden looks so pretty with some sun shining down on it for a change! Thank you so much for popping in, I hope you got in here ok through the spider webs and tumbleweeds!!

Much love, Lou xxxx

Mo's Digital Pencil challenges are back!!!!

Good Morning all!!

Well, I've got my cake I'm making for tomorrow crumb coated, walked the pawsy peeps and got tidied up a little so I can write my blog post for today now and boy oh boy am I excited!!!

The challenges are back up and running over at Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge blog. I am so so happy about this because I can't tell you how much I've missed them being on the blog. I absolutely love visiting peoples blogs and makes so I can't wait to see some entries coming in!!!

The challenge is...Anything goes with an optional 'spring' theme if you want to do that. I totally did!! I had an idea for making that feel of the colours of spring coming in by using my magic colour slider card die again. It's so much fun to play with and with a little printable acetate, it's an absolute dream to use digital images for them!! I LOVE it!!!

Right, I need to get some green and blue buttercream made before I sit down to watch my beautiful friend Becky on the TV!! I'm so excited for her but feel a bit nervous for her too!! she is going to be on Hochanda so tune in at 11am if you can!!!

Thank you for popping in, Huge hugs Lou xxx

Morning all!

Nothing says Friday like a cute lil baby's butt in your face right? Ha! I knew it!!! see the cuteness just has Friday written all over it doesn't it??!!!! he he!!!

I am just back from the school run and nibbling on an orange so thought I would get my make for the July challenge #277 over on facebook all written up. It started yesterday but yesterday went by in a puff of a big zoladex injection into my tummy, an excellent exercise class and then wayyyyyyyyyy too much heat for a Lou to feel productive in any way!! Luckily a big thunderstorm cleared the air at about 9:30pm and its a lot cooler today...phew!!!!

Don't forget, the same challenge rules apply!!

I was super excited to use my new Magnolia Country leaves dies, I do so love popping a little foliage in when I use flowers on my cards and these dies are just the perfect size for snuggling into those pretty flowers.

Well, thats me for today I think. I have one of the fabulous new Country Girls, Porch Tilda, and Grandpa's Porch all coloured up on my desk ready to go onto a card today so I'll pootle along on that this morning before my Picc Line flush and re dress this afternoon. My little Mo is super excited today because we are going to the summer BBQ at his old school tonight. I can't wait to see some of my gorgeous mummy friends and amazing teachers from Welbourn, I can't believe it's been a year since Mo left! time flies but that school will always have a huge place in my heart for all the did for Mo.

Right, lemon water needs making and a load of washing needs popping on the line before I can have fun!! Thank you for popping in, hugs Lou xxx

I needed to make me a birthday cake!! and of course being a little Harley Quinn obsessed, Derby Girl was the only image for me!! I coloured her up Harley-ish and with Mo's permission I added a little black heart to her cheek then I made myself a big ole vat of acid from cake and buttercream, added some oozy green acid icing and off course the red and blue swirl from the movie when Harley is brought back to the top by The Joker! eeeeeeep! I love it!! the colours of the layers are red, blue and white for Harleys hair, green for The Joker and black for the bad!! of course!!!oh and sparkler 40 is a must too right?!!!! Here is a closer piccy of my lil Derby Girl Harley all coloured up!
