Tiddly Inks challenge 74- Anything Goes for 2 weeks!!!

Image- Hedgie Hugg from Tiddly Inks
Paper and easel card template- Twelve crafters crafting from Funky Hand

Morning Peeps!!
How are you all this fine Tiddly Tuesday?!! :) Yep!! its Tiddly Tuesday again over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog and that means more challenge fun from the Tiddly Inkers and new images in the shop!! yey !!!!!

So what do the Tiddly Inkers want from you this week????? well, we have been enjoying the Anything Goes month so very much and seeing all your awesome creations that Christy thought we should be spoiled by your talents for another 2 WEEKS !!!! I am so very excited about this because it has been awesome to see so many new faces and be wowed by your cards/projects. Thank you so much to each and every one of you for playing along with us and giving us so much inspiration.

For my card this week I wanted to use Hedgie Hugg. I love this image and I wanted to get started on my personal christmas cards. I printed out the easel card from my Twelve Crafters Crafting cd rom and a couple of the papers to make the hearts with. Now, this was the first time I had used the easel card template and OMGosh!! what a compete joy it was to make, I printed on both sides of it and I love how it came out. I cut some hearts out with the papers I printed out on my cricut and added a bit of rafia. It made such a perfect platform for my image.

When I coloured my cute little Hedgie Hugg I kept to the colours of the card and she looks so sweet all festive!! cute cute cute!!!! I popped glossy accents on her hearts and left a nice white shadow around her when I cut her out so she popped out from the card.

Now enough about my card and onto the awesome new image in the shop!!! Please meet Genius......

Isn't he just squishably cute?! he even comes with an extra little mouse and sign so if you love him as much as I do, just click on him to be magically pinged to his little place in the Tiddly Inks shop. When I showed him to Little Mo he was so excited and has now decided that he needs to get some mouses to go in his school trouser pockets....!!!

So thats me for today. Little Mo and I have dental appointments this morning...ARGGGGHHHHHHHHHH, oh my I sooo don't do dentists but I am a model mummy and don't show Mo my fear. I have to be really careful as Mo has black extrinsic tooth stain, the staining on his teeth is black instead of yellowy like most children so he has to go to the dentists regularly to get them cleaned. His new teeth are coming through yellowy so hopefully it is just happening to his milk teeth and will go when they have all gone, fingers crossed!!!

Have a great day peeps!! huge hugs Lou xxx

Baby Tilda

stamp- baby tilda stamped in rich coca memento ink.
(Evening in June colourway)
Hello peeps!!!
How are you all this super foggy sunday?!!! We are having another lazy day here! the fog is not enthusing us with wanting to venture out as its really cold too!!
I had a baby card order from my mum last night so I decided to get busy with that this morning. I didn't fancy using just pink and wanted a summery zing to it to cheer me up from the foggy outside so I went for the Evening In June colourway on my Funky Hand Craft The Year away papercraft factory.
I stamped the baby on watercolour paper and she came out so cute and coloured her in then stamped her again her again on some scraps of the pink paper I used to paper pieced her little bow, frilly pants and slippers to match the pink paper.
I punched out some teeny martha stewart butterflies and layered them up a little, sparklying up the edges. They looked so sweet!
The pennants are from my SU pennants set, I stamped the little stitches on and then punched them out with the punch.
I really struggled to get a piccy today so I am sorry for the fuzzy wuzziness of it.

Right I am off to get my sunday tea cooked now as we were up early and out tummy clocks are messed up!!!
Huge hugs Lou xxx

My little wally !!

Morning peeps!!
Phew!! its been a busy couple of days!!! it has been children in need all the way this week and I have loved it!! Mo needed to go dressed up as his favourite book/ cartoon character and he chose Where's wally
( waldo for my friends over the pond!) so I had to get to work on a hat, stripey top and a walking stick for him. It was so much fun.
Here's my little wally....
Cute!!!! I made his top by using one of his vests!! I made the stripes by masking the white off with selotape and then using fired brick distress ink to make the red stripes!!
I made his little hat with a dishcloth!! I sewed up the edge and the tied some string around the top. The very top bit I snipped little shreds into to make it look like a bobble and then I dipped the bobble and the bottom of the hat into some red food colouring! Here it is...

His walking stick was just parcel wrapping covered in seloptape and shaped around with a little bit of clear plastic to hold the curved handle shape.
Mo had a super day and was even allowed to wear his costume for his tennis lesson which he thought was super!! then to top it all off he chose a few cakes from the cake sale we were having at the nursery where I work! he had a pudsey biscuit last night for pudding and tghis morning he had " a melly cake" ( a cake made by my friend Mel's mum!!) for his breakfast!!! There are someleft which I am sure he will munch through over the weekend! but its haircut day today so I had better get a wriggle on and get him to the hairdressers then hopefully a squidge of crafting for me today.
Before I go, my BF is teaching her first cricut class over at Jo's shop, Let's Create, so I want to send her huge huge (((hugs))) and good luck wishes. Fi's blog is here if you fancy leaving her some good luck comments, I know she would really appreciate them. She is so kind and caring so she will have them all buggy by the time she has finished her class today.
Have a fab day peeps, I will be back with some creations later I hope!!!

Gorjuss chrimbles!!

 Afternoon Peeps!!!
I have had a busy morning pootling around everyone so I had to wait until now with my trusty cuppa in hand to bloggy my little sparkly card yet not a card!!! I made it last night for 2 challenges, they are...

So, above is a piccy of my card not yet a card! Its in the shape of a gift tag and it was from the fabulous Adela. You can find it HERE in Adela's yummy shop!

I had total fun with this one!! and even used my stamp that I bought from Clare in the summer holidays!! didn't take me long to ink this one up then.....:)
Here is a half opened "oooh what is it" side view!!!
and here it is all opened (....including the fake £5 I googled and printed out to pop in it.....Lou's mind thikns oooooh fab super cheap chrimbles...it looks so real!!!!)
I added lots of glittery sparkle to it using diamond stickles around the layer of patterened paper, sakura starburst pen for the teeny stars on her dress and a good old sprinkling of silver metallic thread stitched into the punched border piece and fluffed out behind the sentiment circle.

I am loving the non traditional colours on my patterned papers. They are (...of course :)   ) Funky Hand papers from the Angel On The Tree colourway of the new Twelve Crafters Crafting papercraft factory, I love it!! (last night I was working on a bit of something with the Vintage Christmas colourway but you will have to wait until next week for that one!!!)

Right then, I am off for a bloggy/facebook catch up before I go and fetch Little Mo and pop in on my mum!

Huge hugs, thank you for popping in on me!!

Tiddly Inks challenge 73- Anything Goes!!! Goes On!!!

Image- Tiny Dancer from Tiddly Inks.
Papers- FBQ Bear Necessities from Nitwit Collections
Morning Peeps!!!
Yey!! its that Tiddly time of week again and I have to say I am loving the creations that you guys are sharing with us Tiddly Inkers for our Anything Goes month over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog!! I can't believe you have all been hiding your talents!!!

My little make this week is a blessing for me as I was convinced Mr. Mojo had taken a trip away without telling me and wasn't coming back anytime soon!! of course, all I had to do really was open the Tiddly Inks file on my pooter, stuffed full of Tiddly goodness and he came running back to me faster than lightening!!!

I printed out my Tiny dancer (...she's so sqooshably cute!!!!) and then I made myself a card base in PSP. I also printed out an extra star and made one of the buttons extra big to mount her on, along with the little journalling rectangle that I stamped happy birthday onto.
The reason I wanted to add all these little extra shapes was to join in with the fabby sketch challenge over on the Fetch A Sketch challenge blog, here is the sketch, if you click on it you will be magically pinged to the blog...
A little bit of bling for her tu-tu and some little pearls and she was done!! yey!! go Lou !!!

So, have fun creating a bit of anything for our challenge this week, but you must remember to use a Tiddly Inks image to be in with a chance to win the prize.
Please pop on over to the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog and see what the Tiddly Inkers have been up to because man they have me in awe every week!!!

Thank you for popping in on me!!

My gorgeous hubby's birthday!

Papers and present- Happy Happy Birthday from Funky Hand.
Morning Peeps!!
Its my amazing husband's birthday today and I thought I would share the card I made for him last night (...yes, I know it was leaving it a bit fine but mr mojo is only coming in bursts at the minute!)
Luckily I had a little idea bubbling in my little fuzzy head so I picked a few papers from the Just for Men colourway on my Happy Happy Birthday papercraft factory from Funky Hand and got busy!!

I even paper pieced my little mini tilda stamp! I stamped her in memento rich cocoa on some of the patterned paper and a scrap of my normal colouring paper then cut out the bits I wanted to piece onto her like her bow, dress and socks.
I made the pressie all patterned by popping it onto the spotty paper I wanted before I printed it out in the workspace, I love that workspace!! I coloured in the bow and popped it out on some foam. Tilda is popped out too.
And now.... the little guys make for Daddy!!!
Mo wanted to make a "card and present in one please Mummy" and he knew exactly what he wanted to do which was fab!!!
He chose the Craft The Year Away papercraft factory and the "wordbook making bit" for his. I love the way he describes what he wants, it makes me giggle :)
He wouldn't let me help other than to push the big bite down to make the holes!! ( he isn't keen on the big bite as he squished his hand under the handle once!!) He cut them out all by himself and only needed me to line them up for him to get them all the right length.
I love that he added those little MS punched butterflies. He said  " I need to use his punch from clare's shop" .....I don't mind the fact that that was about the only thing I bought from Clare's a couple of weeks ago for me.... :) and he glued them on "all flyey floaty" cute!!
Then he added some pictures of him and daddy doing things they love to do together.
This page is daddy in goal and mo kicking the football. I adore that he added those little swooshy lines from the ball going fast!!! I also love that Mo is not afraid to write down his feelings, I think that is so important for little boys to be able to do that.
This page is daddy and mo one of their bike rides. Mo has a little tag bike that goes on Scott's bike when we go to clumber or out for long bike rides.
This is daddy and mo washing the car!!!
And then Mo had to try out my new SU pennant punch to make a flag!! he had seen it in my SU catalogue and thought it would be fab for a best daddy flag!! attached to a cocktail stick!!
Mo has a lot more mojo than me at the minute!!! but this wordbook present is just so adorable and special for daddy. I love that there are wobblies in his cutting and sticking because it is all done by him. He loved tying the knots in the string through the holes as he always struggles a bit with knots and got these ones first time, clever chap.
So thats us for today!!! Mo is off to school and super excited as we are picking his best friend, Sophia, up from nursery on our way home for a play. She lives next door and he adores her!! he thinks she is cute and loves looking after her!! Scott and I are off together today and we might go out for a birthday lunch at damon's, yummo!!!
Huge hugs and thank you's for bearing with me on a proud mummy post!!!!

Snowman for Allsorts!

Morning Peeps.
First I need to say sorry for not being a good bloggy peep this week. It has been a hard week for us and we are missing our dog Zac so much in so many ways. He has left such a huge hole bless him and we are all a bit lost and wombling around the house in a muddle.

I got an email from Krista this morning to say I had got in the top 3 over on saturated canary challenge blog and it had my top 3 blinky attached which cheered me up so much, thankyou team ST!!!xxxxx

So this morning I have been trying to keep myself busy with a few challenges. They are....
allsorts challenge blog which is Black, White and one other. I have to say that is sooooo much harder than you think!!!!!!
Totally Gorjuss - Christmas Traditions challenge - I love snowmen and alwys associate them with chrimbley traditions, they are just so much fun to make and even more special when you can make them on christmas day, oh I hope there is snow on christmas day!

I had an order to make a 10 pack of chrimble cards for one of my mum's friends who loves Newcastle United.
So, my colour choices were Black, White and blue ( .....I hope this is OK as there is a teeny squidge of  colour to compliment for his nose and holly...)
I just had to use my Funky Hand Rainbow Stripey Stripes download for the Black and white stripes and the snowman is one of my fav's from Tiddly Inks, warm wishes.

If you look really closely you will see the Newcastle United logo just on the front of my little snowman's snuggly hot mug of cocoa!!! I snuck it in using photoshop and I think its a super way of sneaking something personal into a card because its really subtle, the reason I chose the blue as my one other for allsorts is because of the blue in the logo!

Today we are just going to pop to B&Q and pick up a little tree to plant for Zac. Scott and I are a little concerned as Little Mo got upset on thursday night when it was too foggy to see his Zac star so we think a little tree in his little garden bench planter in the front garden will be better, Little Mo thinks its a super idea so he can sit and chat with Zac so thats lovely.

Have a fab day peeps! see you all on my bloggy womble tonight.....might take me a while as when I clicked my reader on this morning I have 423 posts to catch up on........:)

Huge hugs and thankyou so much for all your lovely emails and support this week xxxxxx

Surfing the Yule Tide!!!

Morning Peeps!!
I am a bit late in blogland this morning as Little Mo and I were so snuggled up comfy watching our Anice do her Funky thing over on C&C that we almost forgot to go to school!! ooops ! :)
But don't worry if you missed Anice's 8am slot if you were still in beed because she is back on again at 1pm to show the new Twelve Crafters Crafting and some great deals on the other papercraft factory cd roms too!!!

I wanted to share this manly little card I made using the Angel on the Tree colourway from Twelve Crafters Crafting. Man cards are soooo hard but these little penguin dudes are way too perfect for the job!! and  I decided they looked like they were surfing!!
Within the fabby domain that is the workspace on the program I added my own little sentiment by writing a bit at the top with the writer and then adding the Yule Tide digi stamp!! Love it!!!!

I printed them out and mounted them onto a couple of different papers from the cd rom and then popped them up on a bit of foam tape for added poppingoutness!!!!!!! and added a cut out sprig of holly from the coloured digi stamps in the workspace.

I made a matching inside for the card by using the merry christmas sentiment digi and the uncoloured penguins. I love how it came out and finished the inside of my card (....mmmm please excuse the shadow of my camera bumping off the white inside!!!)

I am entering this cutie in a couple of challenges....

Papertake weekly- 1st Christmas cards of the year
Cards for Men- Its nearly christmas
Tip Top tuesdays- anything goes christmas

Don't forget to tune in to C&C at 1pm and see Anice demo the new Twelve Crafters Crafting cd rom, at the weekend Little Mo will be sharing some of his makes from using it. I cannot say enough how fab these papercraft factory cd roms are for mini sized crafty peeps. he is just 6 years old and has so much fun making things using them. He has made a lovely start on his christmas cards for his friends and thinks its fabulous that he can "pooter write" the names of his little friends on the front!! too cute!! and fabulous as they are so personal. So if you want a crafty program for you little peeps head straight for Funky Hand.

Now I am off out to my crafty garage, bit cold here so have saved my tumble drying to do while I am out there!!! it warms my little crafty garage up a treat!!

Tiddly Inks challenge 72- Anything Goes continued!

Morning Peeps.

Its Tiddly Tuesday time again and us Tiddly Inkers are in full flow with our anything goes challenge month over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog.

I went for a whimsical christmas tag for my creation this week. I printed out my snowman and sentiment
( ..the sentiment comes with the snowman and I love it!) Then I ran my tag through my cuttlebug with a TH embossing folder and rubbed on some faded jeans distress ink.
I ripped up some of my glittery speckled vellum and added one layer to my tag, then my little snowman and then another ripped vellum layer over the bottom of him.
Next job was a good old bit of hand stitching with some blue metallic thread all round the edges. I also stitched the sentiment on!!

I added a blue eyelet to the tag hole and then popped some thread through it, then stuck on some snowflakes here and there!

So get your tiddly thang on and come and join in the tiddly inking fun using any tiddly inks or one of christy's stamping bella's.
***** EDITED IN TO SAY*****
Thank you so very much for all your lovely messages about our beautiful dog,Zac.
Last night we each lit a candle and wrote some little messages for Zac to help little Mo understand it all.
I think it helped a great deal but waking up to a house without Zac in has been extremely hard this morning.
Love you Zaccy xxxxxx

Night Night sleep tight Zac xxxx

Zac Daubney 1994-2011.
Hello Peeps.

Today my post is for my beautiful dog, Zac.

I am a little bit numb and so very very sad. Today our gorgeous Zac went to sleep. It was such a very very hard decision but his back legs had gone and he was struggling. Scott and I have been putting off loosing him because we love him so very dearly but after a year of our beautiful Zac struggling and going so very thin we had to say good night to him. He has been the most wonderful friend anyone could wish for and when I can stop crying I am sure I will be able to remember those times properly but for now, it just hurts.

The vet was so wonderful and caring and I cuddled him up tight to me as he went off to sleep. Scott and I are totally heartbroken and it is all sinking in for Little Mo at the moment. I have scheduled my Tiddly Tuesday blog post for tomorrow as I am just too upset to do too much tonight and need a night to let it all sink in properly. I am so sorry if I miss all your lovely creations for a couple of days while I sort myself out.
It is the hardest thing and I miss him so very much already.

Hugs Lou xxxx
