Dream Team Blog Hop....Thank You

Morning everyone!!

Its that exciting time of the month again for a Mo's Dream Team blog hop and this time its an Thank You theme picked by .....Me!!!!

Here's the Blog Hop run in case you lost on the way......

Don't forget there are two $5 gift vouchers to spend in Mo's shop to be drawn from the participating Dream Team Designers comments so... make sure you pop in and comment on everyone's post for the blog hop to be in with the chance to win!!!

I decided to try my hat at an acetate fronted card for this one. Its been such a while since I played with my acetate and I always go for comfort tent style cards but baby fairy Angus ( from the 6 Baby Fairies (boys)  set) had a word with me and said he really wanted to be flying on the thanks sentiment I had made so that's what I did! can't disappoint the baby fairy right?!!!

Thank you so much for popping in! don't forget to click on everyone in the hop list!!

Koetie............

Stamp- Koetie.
Morning everyone!

It's an oldie but oh so goodie make from me today. I have had this stamp for ages and never used him until last night and I don't know why! I absolutely love it but have never got round to popping some ink on him.

One of my BF's little baby boy is poorly in the hospital so I wanted to make him a little shaker card. I think he will like watching the little balls and stars wiggle around when he feels a bit better.

Thank you for popping in

Tiddly Inks challenge #195...Thank you.......

Papers- American crafts Autumn Crisp.

It's time for another fun challenge over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog and the season of thanks and happiness is almost here!! This challenge the Tiddly Inkers want you to get that feeling of gratitude for the people around you so our challenge is.....

Thank You!

So think of anyone who needs thanks and make a something just for them!

(**remember...We love to see any new creation, a card, 3D project, journal page etc,but you must use a Tiddly Inks stamp or image **)

I decided to break out my Grow a little love wryn. Now, I have used my clear stamp set which comes with the Thank you in it but it's not available anymore so I've linked you the digital one in (both are just as gorgeous as each other!! he he!!).

I got out one of my absolute favourite die sets too. I use this one sooo much I am surprised it didn't wear out yet!!! It's Blueprints 24. It's the most wonderful card builder die set for rectangle shaped cards and a huge helper to the square card obsessed Lou you have sat here typing!!

Right, time to go. I love tuesdays because I get to have a whole hour with my friend Mandy playing with stampin up goodies. She does a coffee and card class and I adore it.I don't often get to keep my make as Little Mo pinches it as soon as he gets home to see what he has missed because come holiday time he can't get dressed and ready to go quick enough on a tuesday morning!!!

Huge hugs for you all. Lou xxxx

Elf yourself a merry little christmas...

Image- Elfy Holidays from Tiddly Inks.
Hi everyone!!

It's Fab Friday over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and oh my did the Tiddly Inkers make some delicious makes this week! I am so in awe of my teamies!

I went for christmas with my make. I am getting into the swing of it now with my christmas makes!! and Elfy Holidays is such a super one to colour with that happy little outfit and over sized hat, I just LOVE it!

I made myself a sentiment in word to go with it. I love making my own and it's so easy to personalise it to go with your card how you want it to.

Right I had better scoot, I have a lot of pokemon hama bead creations to iron for someone small who had a super fun hama session yesterday before school, after school and into the evening while I was visiting my Grandad in hospital.....and he's sat making another right now!! but lets be honest, a hobby like this is just too much fun and he adores seeing those little cylinders of colour turn into a whole new thing when he puts them together and then the look on his face when I iron them is just magic!!

Huge hugs for you all, have a wonderful friday.

Fang-tastic Beast......

Morning all (.....just!!!),

Its Lou in with a make for you today and I was having an 'ooooooh lets mix and match' moment this morning!!!

I wanted to make a little something for my little guy who has had a rough couple of weeks and we are very proud of him for just pootling along in his normal Little Mo way despite feeling a bit mehhhh! (he's a trooper bless him, I think he fared better than mummy and daddy through it all!!).

So a good old inking of a couple of my fave stamps sets mixed together and oh my!!!! Shaker Pouches, soooo much fun!!! wahhoooooo!!! a Little Mo treat was made!! I took a squidge of extra time to pop a strip of the paper left from the front of the treat holder to cover the little treat holding part and it really lifted it so don't throw those scraps of paper away peeps!!

The sentiment from the MFT Frightfully Fun Halloween set was just perfect for those cute little beastie fangs!!!

Fairy Godfather.....

Image- Fairy Godfather.
Hi everyone!

I'm sharing my make using Fairy Godfather. Isn't he just fabulous? I love him! and I decided he would be just right for christmas colours now I am getting into the swing of my christmas makes!

So a splodging of christmassy colours and a good old bit of glitter...which...as per Lou usual...totally doesn't show in the piccies! dang!!! maybe I need to wish for sparkly picture taking help?!! lol!!

Right, time to scoot. I am just not wanting to get going at all this morning! I need me some more weekend family bubble time.I just fancy keeping the door locked and keeping the boys of the house to myself for just one more day. We had such a lovely weekend walking around and watching movies that I just need a bit more of that.

Thank you for popping in

Cosy Pram.......

Stamp- LOTV Cosy Pram.
Flowers- Petal Lu.
Afternoon all!

I am almost defrosted enough to type after a wonderful morning of walking around geocaching with my gorgeous men (...we got soaked to the core in rain and frozen by cold winds but it was still excellent fun!!) so now I can just about feel the tips of my fingers to type I thought I'd share my latest LOTV make with you all.

How absolutely sweet is the Cosy Pram stamp? I found it the other day when I was having a stamp tidy up! I popped all my LOTV stamps into one draw and took the time to stamp each one out on paper and make a kinda file system so I can see easily which one is which!! well, you just need to now and again...any excuse to stamp them all out!! he he!

So a baby card it was! awwww cuteness!! and I couldn't resist using a few more of those scrumptious flowers from Petal Lu. They are so delicate they were just so perfect for this card. And of course, I have popped this cutie over in the challenge on the Petal Lu challenge blog.

Right, I am off to have my 3rd cuppa since we got home to continue the cosy up the Lou process!! then I am going to have a good sort through my MFT stamps and get them sorted into a draw of their own too. They are in about 4 different places now like my LOTV ones were so a good sort will help me see how many more I need.....eh hem...I mean see which ones I have....!!!!!!

Huge hugs and kisses, Lou xxxx

There's Snow place like home............

Morning everyone!

I'm in for you today with a make using Lawn Fawn Snow Cool. This is such a sweet little set and wahooooooooooooo! it's not geared to only being a christmas set! which was blooming fabulous as my friend's will be moving in a few weeks time and a winter new home card is just what I wanted to make!! yey!!!!

I had a couple of my little Die Namics Stitched Jumbo Fishtail banner Stax left that I had made up to make a banner for the open day with some Lou colouring on, they are so easy to make and a whole tonne of fun for just having some colouring fun. The post service devoured my first banner (...grrrrr....) so I made another as quickly as I could.

Because it was already made up, I quickly cut out another banner frame in paper to pop over the top of my made up banner piece to protect the frame as I stamped. I wanted my little scene to be confined within the frame.

I stamped my first little igloo and then masked it off to get the other 2 on there, placed either side of the first one.....( let's take a moment to thank the delicious Misti for it's help in the making of this card!! oh my days, I can't tell you how easy it makes it!!).

A little pop of putting the 2 super cute penguins popped up on some foam and then making up my little sentiment finished with a snowflake and poomf!!!! cute new home card a la Lou'd!! he he!!

Thank you for popping in
