Afternoon all!!!

I've had a hectic kind of morning having my CT scan (...whoot whoot though! totally escaped needing a cannula for contrast which I was worried about!!!) and I am only just getting to turning on my big pooter for blogging and general friday noseying around the internet!! he he!! but I have been so excited for my MIC Gal posty day to come around so I could share this super fun make with you....

squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! I LOVE it!! especially since when I saw our next Make It Crafty Colouring challenge- Skin- was going to be skin I could not think of what the floof to do for the challenge!!

Then Zoe sent us the fabulous new Sweet Teens images . I was sat at my pooter listening to my Spotify playlist and on pinged A-Ha with 'Take on Me'........Oh!!!! Mind Blown!! I had a whoot whoot Bingo!!! moment and knew exactly what I wanted to do with Grooving Jake.

I printed Jake out twice, once on my normal colouring cardstock and once onto some Printable Acetate ( I get mine from Swedish Housecrafts so I linked it in for you all).Then it was just a case of using my scrumptious Magic Colour Slider dies to cut evrthing out tickety boo.

I coloured Jake up using all my Promarker Warm Greys to get that super cool 'cartoon character' effect and then once he was all ready to go I had super fun popping him into the little slider to make it look like a cartoon 'cell'

Now, I'll not waffle on any longer as y'all are probably having to click on your own tracklists to play the song some more....(........swoooooooooon....Morten Harket still does it for me!!! bwah ha ha ha!!!!)

I was still feeling the superhero vibe when I made my DT make and let's face it, with Wonderwoman bears this cute who could resist????!!!!! I printed out some of my scrummy superhero papers and I also made myself a little quote sentiment using Antiope's words.

Right, I need to scoot. Mo and I are off out for a little play with my BF's children because they are back to school tomorrow..yuck! Luckily I get Mo for an extra day...thought I have to be honest and say I would rather keep him at home a bit longer than even Thursday. Holiday times are just too short. I think the children should have longer off each time, you are only small but once.

Morning everyone!

I'm in for you today and I am sharing my Dream Team make using the amazing Lovebirdz. 

There is a reason I absolutely adore this little image. When my wonderful Nana died she said to my Aunty that she would come back as a Robin to let us know she was ok. My Grandad loved Robins and nursed one back to health when I was little, that Robin visited Nana and Grandad every single day so I think that's why Nana chose a Robin to come back as.

When my Grandad died in October my Aunty saw the biggest, fattest Robin she had ever seen and it just makes me smile to think about it when I am having terrible missing Grandad days so I just had to use this image for my make today.

I merged them onto some of my favourite Nitwits collections papers...that's the absolute joy of .pngs files. I couldn't resist giving them some super loved up rosy cheeks thinking of them being my Nana and Grandad together again after so many years apart.

I have started slimming world. I'm so excited. I've decided to go it the group way ( I need the shame of weigh in to keep me focused!!!) I joined on saturday and have found it fabulous so far. For brekkie today I have made myself overnight oats with blueberries and raspberries and a splodge of Total 0% youghurt. I am super determined to shift some Lou blubber this year!!! there's plenty of me to loose so I know I can do it!!!!!

Hi everyone!

I hope you've all had a wonderful Boxing Day. We've had another chill it out and just have fun day here in the Daubney House!!

I've tidied my craft room a bit so I can see big parts of my work surface now!! lol!! and I also had some fun making another lollipop/wand card (...I'm not sure what they call them but either way, they are a tonne of fun to make!!!).

Here's a closer look at the cuteness that is Taffy Lea, I think she's so sweet. I think since I found super cute paper straws in Lidl I have developed an obsession for having a go at these 'cards'....I have 3 boxes of the straws so I've got plenty more to play with!! lol!!!!

Well, it's time for me to let my head hit the pillow. I'm so sleepy tonight. I swear the less you do in your day, the more tired you get?!!!!! Thank you for popping in,

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

I hope you've all been having magical days. I know I have....and that's why I am uber late in posting my Dream Team make this week...but hey...them Big Man in the Red Coat comes first!! he he!! He arrived at our house at 4:15am this morning (......which was actually good going for Little Mo! he's normally found that Santa's sneaked in earlier than that!!!!) and we have had a wonderful day of playing with gifts, relaxing, yummy food and snuggles as well as Mo getting time to have a play online with his BF and me mount the stamps from my Magnolia Calendar kit! go family!!!!

I had so much fun making this little lollipop greeting using the super sweet Christmas Surfer Tot (PRECOLORED). I love these little pre-colours Maurie is starting to add to the store. I know this week I have been rushed off my feet with one thing and another so the ease of just printing out ready to go was a dream.

So, let's talk printing settings for these pre-colour images...I use Diamond White card and I print using a 'glossy paper' setting and the print quality on 'High'. I can use high quality because I won't be adding any promarker pens colour to the image.

Let's take a closer look at how this cutie came out............

The little sentiment came from the image,  Warmest Wishes. I just love the font on that sentiment so much.

I added some super fun ruffle ribbon (...I LOVE this ribbon!! it's perfect for making lollipop greetings) and some twine with some teeny weeny bells sewn onto it! ooooooooooooooooh the cuteness!!!!

Oh, I do so hope your days have been magical everyone. I am going to go and get a lovely hot bath and pop my pj's on for the rest of the night. Mo has asked if he can stay up late...his exact words were ..."Can I stay up a little late tonight Mummy?" , to which I replied "Yes of course poppet" and his little reply was "Cool!! I've always wanted to stay up until 7pm"....sigh...yes people....my 13 year old little guy wants to stay up late....until 7pm????? bwah ha ha ha ha!!! but it is so super sweet I didn't have the heart to tell him it wasn't a very late night!!!!

Afternoon peeps!....though I'm not sure how it got to afternoon already?!!!!!

I thought I'd share my little christmas tree decoration with you all before I pootle off on the school run. I am so pleased it's the end of term because Mo is extremely ready for a break. He's exhausted and has really had enough this term!!

I've been chilling his morning and making this little decoration because that Super Elephant is just too cute not to play with!!

I added a few little adhesive gems in 'super'colours around the edge and popped a little circular mat of superhero paper on there too...jut because I love that kind of stuff!! he he!! there really is just something so cute about superhero makes, I just love them!!!

Hi everyone!

I'm in today with my Dream Team posteroo using the world's cutest little Stocking Elf.

For this make I went for a wonderful mix of colouring, paper piecing,die cutting and distress inking!! but my oh my do I love how it all came together!!! the snowflakes inked in the background just look so pretty..............and there's nothing quite like a play with everything going kinda crafternoon right?!!!

I also made a little tag for Scott's tag-vent! I just couldn't resist the sweetness of him so printed him out super teeny and paper pieced him with the scraps leftover from my card version!! wahoooooooooooooooo! more crafty fun!!!!

I'm a bit late sharing my MIC make this weekend but I so enjoyed making it I couldn't wait any longer to share it with you!! I absolutely adore those chippie frames and the little sentiment is just such a pretty and swooshy wooshy way to share such a sweet message.

I've had a super fab weekend surprising my Little Mo on his birthday! we took him to Harry Potter studio tour and he LOVED it!

My amazing friend Lucy made him a special jumper to be his reveal to where he was going and it was just so special when he opened his jumper as his first present! she put the words ' Just a muggle boy spending his 13th birthday at Warner Bros Harry Potter Studio Tour' It took him a few seconds to realise what it meant but he was so excited when he worked it out!!

We had a magical day. Then today e have met my Aunty and Uncle for a quick catch up in the garden centre and then my big sister is on her way with her family for a visit too so I have got to say this has been the most exciting weekend.

Together we are SUPER..........

Hello everyone!

Well, I was supposed to get these cuties posted yesterday but I didn't get round to it and then today almost got past me in a blur because it's Herceptin injection day but I managed to pull it back and get in here for a quick posteroo!!

Just look how cute these lil superguys are....Oh my ...

They are just the sweetest. I had some fun merging a supergirl bear and the superboy bear together ready for Scott's valentines card!! go me!! I am organised for next february already!!! wahooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

Right, time for me to go and get tea on! We are having leftover fake kebab meat from last night with actifry chips for a bit of an 'ouchies my leg is sore, I need comfort food' kinda tea!!!!

Got the Wreath.........

Hi everyone!

I'm in with a make for you today featuring the wonderfully cute Got the Wreath. Just look at the cuteness! (...and of course, if you click on it you'll be magically pinged to it's lil place in the shop!!!)

I decided on a boy themed make for this one so I grabbed my fave colour combo's and just had fun colouring it up and I so loved that little Happy Christmas sentiment  that came with him so I had to use that too!!

The little snowflake border around the image mat is from my Doo Hickey 2 set. I've been using that set loads the past few days, it really has some super fun little elements on it that I can't resist once I get that festive feeling!!!

This weekend I missed my Grandad so very much. I can't work out my heads way of processing it, some weeks I am good all week but then just certain little things really set me off. On saturday I woke up just missing him and it lasted all weekend....he would so kick my butt if he knew I was being so melancholy but today I feel so much better about it all.
