Cookie crate cuteness!!

Morning peeps!!!

I think I must be a 'feeder' because my last 2 posts for you have had yummy snacks in them but my Little Guy made the most scrummy chocolate rye cookies at the weekend and I couldn't resist showcasing them a little using the fabulous Gummiapan Apple Box die.

All I needed was some orange cardstock ( yup, I'm still in the autumn colours mood!!) to cut out the little box. Then I distress inked all the edges using Walnut stain distress ink.

Once I had inked all the edges and assembled the box, I tied a little bit of twine around it, using the 'handles' to pop it over to keep it in place and tied a lovely bow. I left the ends of the twine nice and long to get that pretty effect on the bow.

Then I tucked some cotton gauze into the box and wrapped a few of my Little Guys cookies in some cellophane and tucked them into the box.

Then it was time to play with the super sweet little Magnolia stamps mini world Medal stamp. It is just so cute! I love it!! I stamped it out and then I used a little freebie heart stamp from Gummiapan and stamped it in the centre of the medal. I coloured it in a lovely orange colour and then I added some glossy accents to it to make it pop!

I took some time fussy cutting it out and then inked its edges to soften the cut lines. I added a little hot glue to the back of it and stuck it over the centre of the bow.

Isn't it just the cutest gift?!! oooh, I do think so!!!

Well, my big toenails have been extracted! I was quite interested and after the 2 lots of numbing injections, I had to have because, you know, I'm Lou and one wasn't enough!!!! I happily watched the first toenail get pulled out. It really was amazing, she just scooped a little spatula behind it all the way down to release the suction and then kinda flicked my nail out of its bed either side.... and then as she put the little tourniquet on the second toe...I passed out!!! oh my goodness!! I felt a right wally!! as I came to all I could see was poor Scott holding my hand and I could just make out the other nurse stroking my head so gently and talking to me.
They were seriously the nicest ladies ever, I was so lucky to get those 2 and I seem to be doing quite well in recovering so far. The lady who redressed them yesterday said they were looking good but over the next couple of weeks they will begin to look hideous as the Phenol does its thing to kill off the nail bed so not to worry at how terrible they look and when they do start to look terrible, just soak them in salt water and change the dressings daily...so I figure I should be good for Halloween with scary toes!!!!!

Thank you for popping in everyone! huge hugs, Lou xxx

Tiddly Inks Challenge #218...colour palette inspiration

Stamps- Bunny freebie clear stamps ( now all gone..doh!!).
Die- Mama Elephant Flip Slider die.
Die- Namics Grassy edges.

Hi everyone!!

I'm late getting to my blog post today because I needed to cook a few things so I don't have to worry about cooking tomorrow after having my toenails removed and then I had to catch up with my Celebrity Masterchef I had taped (..and cry at John winning, bless his little heart, he's so lovely!!!) so I'm only just getting to my pooter.

It's time for a new challenge over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and this month its a gorgeous Autumnal colour inspiration one.

I used my super cute little bunnies clear stamp set that Christy had as a special freebie for her last release of clear stamp orders. I absolutely love it ....she totally needs to release them whenever she has another run of clear stamps right?!!!! just look at the absolute cuteness in this video!!

Squeeeeee!! too cute right?? I absolutely love the Mama Elephant Flip Slider die I used for this make, and it didn't even blink an eye at that extra little layer of Die- Namics Grassy edges on the bottom of the little bunny tiles either, its flips through with ease, oh I love it!!!

Right, time for me to get myself together for the school run to pick up Mo. I need to take the pawsy peeps with me for a little bit of a walk as we haven't had a chance this morning with cooking and stuffs.

Thank you for nipping in, hugs Lou xxx

Have dinner with me?!!!

Hello everyone.

I'm popping in with my Swedish House Crafts DT post because dopey here forgot to post it on my own blog on Wednesday....derrrr Lou!! So I'm sat here now with my cup of green tea with Jasmine catching up on postings!!! I need to do this one today because tomorrow I will be busy getting my radioactive injection for my bone scan in the afternoon....seriously peeps, if I do not get some superpowers from this go I will be so sad. I am fully expecting that X-ray vision or flying powers again...if it doesn't work, the NHS has gone right downhill!! bwah ha ha ha ha!!!!

I just couldn't resist a make using the lovely autumnal colours peeking out from the end of summer now! Luckily, I had a couple of sheets left of the Pion Design 6x6 Complete collection Summer Falls into Autumn papers are just the right blend of autumn prettiness that I needed. Just look at how beautifully they combine...

and then, of course, there is beautiful Sitting Tilda. She is one of my favourite sitting magnolia stamps because she can be used for any occasion at all. Oh, how I love her little expression whilst she is just sitting there!! she is just so sweet!

I used some dies from my stash, but luckily Suha has these amazing Pierced Scalloped Circles Nesting dies in the shop you can use to get the same effect  around the treat cup ( also from my stash) to fill with little popcorn kernels for the super cute recipient of this card (....my little Mo of course!!!) to make us some popcorn to share!! so naturally, I needed the  Have dinner with me text to remind the little guy I need to share that yummy popcorn once it's made, please!!

These papers really are so beautiful, I love the little details Pion included in the corners.

They really do set a beautiful little scene with their collection papers, don't they?

Right, I am going to finish up my green tea whilst having a little womble around the internet then I am treating myself to a lovely day of crafting. I had a big card chuck out last week so my little box is looking a little sad and needs some happy birthday makes in there I think!!!

Thank you for popping in on me, huge hugs and love Lou xxxx

Moon Baby memo box....

 Image- Moon Baby.
Morning all!

It's Lou in for you today with my Dream Team make of the week and this week it's pure indulgence just for meeeeee!! I used Moon Baby, because my Little Mo and I say it to each other all the time as part of our bedtime routine. It starts off with I love you to the moon and back and then we go along the lines of anything we can think of that amounts to a lot!! like sand grains on the beach, rice grains in a rice field, tea leaves in a 100 cups of tea etc!!! I Love it, so in a nutshell, it's a special phrase to me!! and let's just look at the cuteness for a minute.....

My amazing husband has been redoing my craft area recently and I now have a lovely new desk and cupboards and have been throwing out a lot of stuffs!! ( Y'all know how we crafty peeps hoard stuff?....well I had 12 years of hoarding in there!!! so a good throw out was way overdue!!!). I'm not going to lie, I have cried at least 11 times about the mess in there whilst I've been trying to sort it out and I am very much at just sort through what's left at a Lou-surely pace now!!!! what's left is in 4 lidded boxes and under my photo Foldio box for me to go through everytime I am feeling up to it!!!! lol!!!!!

I always have a bit of paper hanging around for writing notes on, which papers and dies I use for stuff, pen colours etc but I always lose the bits of paper for writing the notes on and end up writing on random scraps ...and then throwing them away!! so I actually bought myself a memo block thingy!! yey me!!! and had some fun making it cute just for me.

It's so good to craft something for yourself now and again.

Right, I'm off to make a cup of coffee, I'm so sleepy this afternoon after a scrummy meal out with my gorgeous in-laws. I'm in that so full I can't move and need a nana nap mode!!!

Thank you for popping in! Huge hugs Lou xxx

You can do it Tilda....

Good Morning everyone,

I'm in with a couple of posts for you today and the first one is my Swedish House Crafts DT post.

I fancied making something a little different this week and went for a little gift to go in the Slimmer of the week basket at my Slimming World group for this coming Saturday.

Fixer Upper You can do it Tilda & wood wall and the little Fixer Upper Breathe text were just so perfect for this job with her super sweet little fist pump and those beautiful words.

I stamped Tilda first and then masked her up to stamp the little wooden wall twice. Then I fussy cut her out and added some colour using my promarkers. I die cut a tag shape wit dies from my stash and then covered it with some old Magnolia stamps papers. Boy oh Boy I miss them making papers like they used to, they were the most delicious papers! I mounted Tilda onto a little foam so she stands out even more. She looks so super sweet ready to inspire someone, doesn't she?

I stamped that beautiful sentiment and then heat embossed it to make it pop from the background, look how pretty it looks with its shine!!

I still very much love using the little Gummiapan Dies Button Heart to add a little love into my projects. I think it is probably my most used die!! I tied a little twine through it to finish it off.

And what's at the back?!! it's my little offering for the basket, 2 yummy Alpen Light bars for someones Healthy B treat! It's so lovely to take crafting into my normal little routine and use it for something useful. I really hope I can inspire someone else to do the same, that's the fun of crafting after all!

Right, time for me to get a coffee and attempt to wake up properly! I've had a bit of tummy pain this weekend (...totally caused by eating a yummy carvery on Saturday I think, eyes bigger than my belly for all the yummy veg!!!!) so today I want to catch up on a few of the things I didn't get done over the weekend!!

Thank you for popping in, huge hugs Lou xxx

Boo Boo....

Image- Boo Boo.
Morning everyone!

I can't believe another weekend has zapped by and left me with Dream Team posting day again!!

And I just couldn't resist a little Get Well kinda make using the new and so so cute, Boo Boo. Click on the piccy below to be pinged to it's spot in the shop if you neeeeeeeeeeeeeed it as much as I did! oh, the absolute cuteness!!
And that gorgeous little sentiment is one of a choice of 2 that come with this little cutie when you purchase it! I love it so much!!!

I haven't dressed a photo in ages but this one totally called for it!! a little visit to my Little Mo's first aid kit and I had all I needed to make a cute little scene to pop this little card in. His little animal plasters are too sweet to pass up this opportunity!! lol!!

We had such a lovely weekend. On Saturday we went out for lunch and I ended up spending most of the afternoon in bed with a really nasty pain in my lower left side while the boys did man stuff in the front garden with the new gate posts!! then on Sunday, we woke up nice and early and we went bowling. I can't bowl yet but I felt a bit better and had a lovely black coffee whilst I watched them bowl and then a little catch up with one of my loveliest childhood friends who was there bright and early to get some bowling practice in (...she is an absolute legend at bowling!!) which was just lovely. Then a quick ride to Wickes for Scott to buy more manly stuff for doing the gateposts and I  spent the afternoon being his apprentice while Mo chilled inside with his movie, Swallows and Amazons, (...for the 12th time.....)!!

Then after tea, I got some time to craft away at this super cute card while the men of the house watched a bit of Harry Potter (.....not even going to attempt to count the number of times we have watched that peeps!!!)

Thank you for popping in! I need to whip up another post for my Swedish House Crafts DT make for today now so pop back in a little while for that if you like!!

Huge Hugs Lou xx

The Librarian....

Image- The Librarian.
Morning everyone!

I'm in with my Dream Team post (...yup...a few hours early because seriously, this cutie patootie just had to be shared right away!!!) using the absolutely amazing new image, The Librarian from Mo's Digital Pencil.

Isn't she just the most amazing image you've seen? and for book heads like my family, I had to just use her right away to make a bookmark with!
Don't get me wrong, I know there are kindles and ebooks and even stories you can listen to but for me, nothing beats a book I can open and turn the pages. I adore that new book smell too!!

Let's take a closer look at her...Oh my!!! even her shoes are too cute!! I glossy accented her eyes and glasses too just for extra fun!!

And that super awesome quote I have on the bookmark even comes with her...in fact, she has 2 amazing quotes!! wahoo!!!

You can click on the shop image below to be magically pinged to her place in the store because I'm good like that!! he he!!!

We've had another amazing family bubble weekend. We haven't really done much, yesterday I went to my Slimming world group while the boys did some shopping, it was a rainy day so we headed out to Kaspas for a treat in the afternoon and then today we've been for a lovely carvery lunch, then home for playing and crafting.

I LOVE weekends like this, they feel just right to me and always leave me feeling all cosy, especially after a few days of adjusting to Mo being back at school and my days being a bit too quiet!!

Thank you for popping in, huge hugs Lou xxx

Tiddly Inks challenge #217....Boys,Boys,Boys!!

Morning all!!!

It's a good job I had this little cutie made for the new challenge over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog a couple of weeks ago because my current craft room situation is still in dire straits and I still have no crafting space to craft on!!! I am working on it again today and very much hoping to have a desk by the end of the day!! lol!!

But onto this month's Tiddly Challenge...

Boys, Boys, Boys!!
so find your creative mojo and get crafting on a project for those boys in our life!!
(**remember...We love to see any new creation, a card, 3D project, journal page etc
but you must use a Tiddly Inks stamp or image **)

....I totally heard you all gasp, scoot out of your chairs from your crafty desks and run at the thought of a boys challenge...but seriously...how can you resist this cuteness....

To make my little card I stamped and coloured my little guy and then carefully cut out the little dog from the main image. I made a super cute little 'window' for my little boy and then glued my little dog onto the window. Then, using some thin foam tape, I popped the window up so that the little boy was set back from the dog. It looks so cute IRL that I just keep looking at it!!!!

Right, I need to scoot off and get me a bin bag!! there is going to be throwing out and sorting going on today. I have cried no less than 4 times now at the state my crafty space has gotten into and Scott has worked so hard on sorting out a newer space that I am going to do him proud. I keep hanging onto stuff I have never used and it's time to sort! Go me!! (...of course, I am all gung-ho for it right now but give me 20 mins and I'll be crying to my BF on messenger that I can't do it!!!!).

Have a totally terrific tuesday everyone! huge hugs and love, Lou xxxx

Morning all!

It's my little sister's wedding today and I'm so excited I might explode!! My Dad,Unamum and littlest sister have come over from Seychelles for it and when my big sister gets here from Nottingham it will be the first time we have all been together for 15 years!! oh my!!!!!

On Tuesday, Little Mo and I went to Yorkshire Wildlife Park with our BF's and had a wonderful day. And, as always, he really enjoyed the Lemur walkthrough. They were all snuggled up on the grass and so sweet .......and they totally inspired me to make this wedding card for my little sister for Saturday!!

Let's take a closer look at those eyes!! oh my!!! 2 layers of glossy accents on the eyes and little noses after I had coloured them really made them pop!! I LOVE it!!

Thank you for popping in, hugs Lou xxx

Narwhalrycorn!!!

 Image- Gnarly Birthday.
Morning peeps!

I am late with my blog post this morning because I slept terribly last night and even though I am still on the 2nd cup of matcha and lime tea, I still resemble a zombie that's been on the day shift!!!!

But I'm here now with my Narwhalycorn make for Tiddly Inks Fab Friday!! I just adore this image...even though I really want to eat his ice cream right now....!!!

Here's a closer peek at his cuteness!! awwwwwww!!

Right, I am slinkying back into my cuppa now and then I'll make a start on brekkie as we are off to Ikea today to get some bits to tidy up our ever getting messier craft room/garage of doom!! It's a bomb site and needs some Ikea organisational magic in there!!! (....well.....ermmmm...this is the line I have fed gorgeous hubby in order to just get me to Ikea........I'll try to tidy up after I promise!!!!!).

Have a fabulous friday everyone, huge hugs Lou xxx
