I have been working on this card for a friend for a little girl who is getting christened and it will just fit snuggly for a few challenges.
So this is my card for the Allsorts challenge blogs Things with wings challenge!! and the CES challenge blogs embossing challenge for this week and the Papertake weekly's pale pretty pastel colours challenge.
I have to thank my awesome bloggy and sir stampalot hotties Fleur, Louise and Lou for getting the umpf to post this card for these challenges.
They never fail to make me go oooooh and awwwwww with their creations and IRL they are awesome too!! love yah all xxxxxx
I used my little butterfly tilda., coloured up with promarkers in yummy pastel colours which were-
Skin- blush, peach and soft peach.
Hair-Buttercup, sandstone and caramel.
Top/wings- cocktail pink and pastel pink.
Trousers/wings- soft green and pastel green.
socks- soft green and pastel pink.
Shoes- sandstone.
I also used some crackle accents on her wings to get the veiny butterfly wing effect with some frayed burlap distress ink rubbed on top to make them show, looks fab IRL!!!
A much needed punched border of Martha stewart heart doily edge punching and a bit of cricutting for cutting hearts and tiny hearts embossing from my cuttlebug love language set, ripped bit and organza ribbon and hey presto, one gorgeous christening card!!! yey!!!!
Ok so I am going out to my mummy's house now and I promise not to post again today!!!!! LOL!!!
huge hugs Lou xxxx
