Captain Hugh.........

Image- Captain Hugh from Mo's Digital Pencil.

Morning everyone out there!!

I hope you are all waking up to a fabulous friday!! Little Mo is busy typing out a newflash on his typewriter so i thought I would sneak into my bloggy to share this little cutie with you all!!

I am always drawn to pirates because Mo adores them! he always has and I think he may possibly always will!! but lets face it..when there's a pirate out there as cool as Captain Hugh from Mo's Digital Pencil you have just got to put him to use!! he he he!!!

I used one of my favorite fonts from Dafont called ' Bleeding Cowboys' for the sentiment which I made up and typed out in word. I love doing that, it makes for so much fun when playing with words for your cards!

A few distressed edges and oh man...that sailors knot took me an age to learn how to do but it looks so cute all the cursing melted right away!! romfl!!!!

We don't really have any plans for today in the family Daubney bubble. Mo and I are still in our pj's and Scott only got dressed because we are out of teabags so he needed to pop to the shop!! lol!! so I think its going to be a chilling day!!

I am sat here chuckling at Mo's little news report he is typing up, its a newflash on the planet Neptune as he has chosen that planet for his school project! its really cute! and totally Mo-ish! I will take a piccy of it for you all when it is done!

Right, off to boil the kettle ready for my teabags return!!

Huge hugs Lou xx

New Home....

Papers- Huge Funky Love from Funky Hand.
Box card file- Home Sweet Home by Lori Whitlock.
Morning all!!
I had a new home card to make for my mum's crisis counselor. She has helped my mum such a lot through her depression that I wanted it to be something a bit special so I hit the Funky Hand papers for my favourite download, Huge Funky Love

The little starry papers are just so pretty. i went for a good old double sided printing session with the pinky ones on one side and the light brown ones on the other side so I could mix and match them around for the different sections of the box.

I used my promarkers to colour up the little house roof and trees an added some ink along the edges of the fence and clouds to make them pop.

Thank you so much for popping in!
hugs Lou xx
