Sweet Boy.............

Stamp- Sweet Boy from Saturated Canary.
Papers- Echo Park Scoot.
Morning everyone!!
I hope you are all waking up to a wonderful wednesday wherever you are.

I wanted to pop into my little bloggy and share a card I made after Mo had gone to bed last night (.....aw, ok...so after Mo had gone to bed and I had fallen asleep with him and woken up a couple of hours later....!!!!!)

I had such a wonderful day with my little guy, which was fab because he woke up kinda cranky but got sooo much happier by 10am it was a dreamy day. We snuggled up and watched Goonies....twice...laid and read on the trampoline, walked dogs and just had an awesome mummy and me day! I love those days so much.

So with him in mind I just went with it and had a tonne of fun splodging a card together!

Today I will be playing with the gorgeous new fairies coming out soon by Christy Croll over at Tiddly Inks..oh my...they are just delicious!!!....here's a sneakle peekle!!!!
eeeeeeeeeeeeeep!! see I told you they were gorgeous!

Right, must go. I need to make brekkie for me and Mo and then indulge in some mint crisp making!! mmmmmmm yummy!!!!

huge hugs for you all

Up Up Bean.....

stamps- TGF Up Up Bean.

Morning everyone! its Lou in today with a little bit of The Greeting Farm gorgeousness for you today!

The Bean range is still by far my fav ever range of their stamps and I can't get enough of them! I decided to go the good old paper piecing fun route with this one, her little balloons were just calling out for some dp on them!  so a little promarker on her hair, skin and dress top then the rest was cut and stick fun!! he he he!!

I also just LOVE the Taylored Expressions Designer Mini Tags, they work so awesomely with the Taylored Expressions Many Minis sentiments stamp set, I just think they are fabulous!!!

Today I will mostly be a zombie! I am still at work as this posts (...or hopefully posts as scheduled posting has been a bit dodgy recently!!!) Mo is on summer hols and Scott will be at work so when Mo asked me what we were doing today this is how the convo went....

Mo to mummy- " mamma what are we going to do tomorrow?"
mummy to Mo- "oooh tomorrow baby we are going to play zombies..."
Mo to mummy- " oh, ok........thoughtful pause....."as long as you don't eat my brains"

romfl!!!!! he really is such a cute little pickle!! on saturday he made us uber proud. He decided a little while ago he no longer wanted his PS3 but we sat on it a little while just incase he changed his mind. Anyway on saturday he decided that was it ( not touched the thing in 3 months so we thought ok then, that's long enough for us to listen!) and popped it and all the games in a bag and popped into town with his little wishlist in one hand and ready to sell games and console in Daddy's hand!

He got everything in this picture for the pennies he got for his PS3..wow! that boy knows how to shop bargains!!! the iPod and speaker were both 2nd hand from the CEX shop and he had enough left for some Lego off his list, a minecraft mooshroom teddy, and a set of superhero socks!!!!

and why are we proud?!!! well, because at the age of 9 he sells what he has to get what he would like, a totally awesome quality we think!! There has been lots of trampoline bouncing to his favourite tunes ever since!!!! I LOVE it!!!

Thank you for popping in

Divas by Design challenge blog...Favourite colours with a magnolia stamp...

Stamp- Summer Flower Tilda.
Papers- Nitwits FBQ Bear Necessities.

Morning everyone!!
Its time for a new challenge over on the Divas by Design challenge blog and this weeks is just the bomb!! my total fav!!  So our challenge this week is....

Favourite Colour Combination with
your Magnolia stamps!

This week we are again so lucky to be sponsored by the brilliant Magnolialicious

Perfect challenge right?! I was sooo excited about it because I bought myself some gorgeous stamps from my friend Teresa who is having a good old crafty clear out ( you can find the stamps she is selling here, there are magnolia's, whiff of joy, LOTV, and lots of yumminess!!)

So my fav colour combo ever is brown, pink and blue, and I use it allllllllll the time!!!! I decided to go for a good old colour on the Kraft session yesterday. I would love to say I had planned to do that but I didn't!! its just that when I hurriedly opened my envelope from teresa with my new stamps in I quickly put aside the edwin I had coloured in (..its ok peeps, he didn't cry....!!) and stamped out my new summer flower tilda on the nearest bit of cardstock I had to hand!!! he he he!! I had been pootling away cutting out easel card bases for Mo to make his teachers thank you cards so there were 6 little kraft card squares ready for stamping on!!! she came out so cute!!

A few flowers splodged on and she was done. This one is for Scott's mum's birthday, get me all organised!!!!

So today is Mo's last day as a year 4. I must admit to finding it all a bit emotional this morning and having a bit of a mummy cry in the car on the way home!! and its all down to the amazing teaching team at his school. Its such a far cry from where we were this time last year. I have gone from having a little boy who was beside himself with worry and tears each morning to having a little boy who informed me this morning that "just the weekend off would be good enough and he would go back to school on monday please?"

Relief, happiness, a feeling of acceptance of his Mo-ness and just general awesome teachers has got us to this place in just a few months. My mum made the teachers a lemon drizzle cake which Mo happily covered with icing flowers!!! he sat and thought about his favourite qualities of his favourite 3 teachers last night as he wrote in their cards and he chose their presents all by himself in true Mo style! red nail varnish and a candle holder for his teacher and TA 2 because they wear red nail varnish mummy" and  a hair clip for his headteacher " because thats what she does have in her hair" ! I love that he picks up on the things that are a bit different! its funny and cute too!! Scott and I bought them all 4 vanilla candles each for being the light for us at a time that truly felt dark. I am so grateful to them all.

Right time for a cuppa and a good old bit of crafting! the sun is shining, my heart is full and happy and I am just on cloud 9 today!

Have a great day everyone, sending you all huge hugs

Passion for promarkers challenge 257...Summer lovin'

Image- Heather Ellis.
Promarkers..
Browns- Burnt sienna, caramel and sandstone.
pinks- Burnt orange, coral, sunkissed pink and blush.
Blues- Midnight blue, denim blue, pastel blue, cool aqua.

Hi everyone!!! I'm back!! dogs walked, little guy at school, loo's bleached and cuppa by my side!!! and this time its my DT make for the Passion for Promarkers challenge blog.

This week’s challenge which has been set by Julie from Team 1 and she has given us the theme of...
 “summer lovin’”
Julie would like you to use your images that show something that you would do in the summer i.e. sit on the beach, eat an ice cream, play in a paddling pool, the options are endless.  Whatever you use please remember you can enter using any type of creation, it doesn’t have to be a card.  Don’t forget, as always, to be eligible for our prize draw you must use your Letraset products (i.e. promarkers, flex markers, aqua markers, tria markers, metallic markers or neon markers).
Our generous sponsor this week is Whiff of Joy stamps and Katharina is offering 1 stamp of the winner’s choice (but it must be in stock).
whiff of joy

I chose one of my super cute little Heather Ellis digi's. I have had them for such a long time and keep forgetting about them so I went for the gorgeous little girl with the butterfly and just splodged bits on until I was done!!

I love this sort of card, the ones where you just pootle along doing what you fancy are the best. Its so relaxing. I have seen so many friends stop making this year due to loss of mojo so I think these days of just enjoying my hobby really are the best.

Right, off to make myself a lovely crab stick and egg salad. We were up at the usual 4:20am this morning so it feels like dinner time to me!! he he he! I have a huuuuuuge pile of ironing to attack and another load on the line and a craft room to tidy (...yup...still....!!!!)

Thankyou for popping back in on me
Huge hugs Lou xxxxxxx

Tiddly Inks challenge 137...Make it mini!!!!

coloured with stabilo crayons.
Shrinkies clear plastic.
Morning everyone!
its time for a new challenge over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and this time its one of my absolute favourites....

Make it Mini !!
( so think teeny projects, ATC,mini cards,etc)

I decided to go for something totally fun. I love fun!!! My little Mo is completely taken by the loom band craze so I decided to make him a charm for a jungle coloured loom band bracelet (**** warning***...once you have done this once your small people will be constantly rifling through your stamps to pick another one for you to do** romfl!!)

I stamped out one of the little monkeys from the Wryn Monkey around clear stamp set, snipped him out leaving enough room to ounch a couple of holes to pop the loom band through to attach it to the bracelet and then coloured him in using little Mo's stabilo pencil crayons. They are awesome for shrinkies colouring as they are quite creamy and blendy.

Then it was just a case of shrink away with my heat gun. (I popped 2 little bracelet rings through the holes to keep them open whilst it shrunk so I could thread my loom band through afterwards).

Its so cute and Mo loves it! right, I am off to walk the dogs before it gets to warm for them to enjoy it! Mo is super excited because his class is off to the park for the morning for a treat, how awesome is that?! I think its just fantastic. He has his tennis racket at the ready and we are popping to the shops to see if we can find a mini chess set for him to take too as he is really into chess at the minute!

Have a great day everyone! huge hugs Lou xxxxx

Evie.........

Image- Evie.
Hiyah everyone!

Its Lou in with a little post for you today using Evie. I just think she is magical!

I coloured her up with my promarkers and a little bit of clear star sakura pen blingyness!! I coloured her tail all in dots, it looks all scaley then!!

Here is a little closer picture of her. I ran some white dots and glaze dots through her skin and tail too.

and of course, it would of been totally rude to make a mermaid card and not try to splodge on as many of my Doo Hickey volume 1 club dies on the card right?!!! he he he!! but they are just so awesome! I love them all!!

Right, off to get some more washing in because its a fabby drying day today! got to make the most of that!!!

Morning everyone!!

too cute!!! love them all!!
Now I know they have been in clear a while but a whole set of them in rubber was just what I needed!! and you get 3 little sentiments on the set too.

I coloured her up with my promarkers, she totally needed blue hair ;) and then popped her together with some flowers from my stash and some more of that stroke only Bo Bunny Prairie Chic paper.

So we had another awesome weekend. I don't know how you guys do it but we kinda close down into our family bubble at the weekends. On saturday we pootled off to the beach as normal and had the best day! there was a new bowling alley in Mo's favourite amusement arcade. He loves that arcade because its not too noisy and everything is spread out nicely so its not awfully crowded either which is just perfect for a little guy like him. Mo won me a bracelet in the 2p penny drop machine and I won him a dragon and a skully bracelet, we got lots of tickets and we loved bowling, I got 3 strikes!! go me!!! and oh my! the bowling shoes were uber cute! we loved those too...Mo and I wanted to keep ours!!!!!

Thank you for popping in!

So I am still not back up to full speed and cheating a bit today with 2 challenges in one make. I am struggling to colour because of the pain in my right arm but it was lovely to relax away making this card.

So the 2 Lou cheat challenges are...

#Die- Namics Smart Phone..........

Good morning all!

I am sorry I am a bit late popping in for you all but I am still on a go slow! I am plodding away on the antibiotics still so hoping they will really kick in soon...!!!! if not I am going to buy an amour plated bra to stop all movement to the booby!!!!!!

Luckily I have an E Bosser so pain is not a problem with the old die cutting! I just pop it in and whizz and oh my gosh!! I cannot tell you how much fun I had with this Die- Namics Smart Phone die set! I  think it is just the bees knees!!!!!

It really doesn't need anything else other than a cut and stick on as all the dies that come with it just rock and the MME cut & paste flair papers were just the right ones for the job!!! I used an extra 'U' from the parker alphabet set just to finish off the reply!! too cute!!

Thank for popping in! I am off for a cuppa now and to attempt to colour. The pain in my right arm is making that near on a no no but I am going to try!!!!!

hugs Lou xx
