mini milk cartoon cuteness!!

Box file- Lori Whitlock 6 mini milk cartons and tote.
Stamp- Taylored Expressions Banner Holidays.
Morning everyone!

How did another monday fly in so quickly?? ok, I know! I can pretty much write off last week after being sick, I still feel rough and tired now but at least there's no icky feeling!! and we had a much needed family bubble weekend! Mo decided he is going to write a book too and made a start on that! love that little guy!!

Anyhow, its my turn to post over on the DTDF inspiration blog and I really had itchy use that silhouette and some lush papers feeling this week so I dug out some stunning papers from my bulk box buys and got to work.

I adore how this came out, I always forget how easy it is to use those 12x12 papers with my silhouette machine,it makes crafting sooooo much fun to slip out of card mode a little and use them for something neat and different.

I am going to fill the little cartons with travel mini's. Mo is going to choose them for his Aunty Lorraine and Uncle Stuart who are jetting off for chrimbles in the U.S.

Thank you for popping in on me,

Huge hugs Lou xxx

AuroraWings Blog Badge Wisteria

Now, no giggling but I stumped myself a little bit for this one because I was determined I was going to use my uber cute sunflower sprite!!...yup at the beginning of winter  wanted to use a sunflower!! he he he!! Luckily I had this gorgeous stroke only stash of Prima 'Tropical Lagoon' watercolour collection paper from 2010 that would be just right for the job!!

Teamed up with a bit of distressing and some flowers made using an old book I have read a zillion times it was done!! Then I pulled out my old papermania pink punches that are teeny flowers and leaves and got punching away with those too!! he he!! its so much fun once you get going!!!

Right, I had better get myself moving, we are on a go slow this morning after mummy and daddy fell back to sleep ( Mo fell asleep at 6:20pm...then woke up at 2am with a bad dream which took us a little while to sort out! dang bad dreams!!! and I am pleased to report that after extensive searching there are no ghosts in little Mo's room...!!)

Have a wonderful day everyone! huge hugs and thank you for popping in on me

Snow Pals...

Image- Snow Pals from Mo's Digital Pencil.
Morning all!!

I have been totally zoned out by a tummy bug for the last couple of days so couldn't get Little Mo's christmas card finished up until I felt a little more umpf this morning!! I have had this uber cute little Snow Pals image coloured up and ready to go for a couple of weeks now but only got him cut out last week and the card finished off this morning!! but I was determined to get it done since Mo got last years card so late!!

I need to jiggle my lights in my photo set up some but don't feel up to it today so it was a good old case of click and go so please excuse the dark edges on the piccy!!

I coloured up his furry bits on his coat to look like seal fur, I couldn't resist since he to me is a little eski-Mo!! he he he!!! It has a bit of blue on it as blue is Mo's favourite colour.

Right. got to rusheroo off. I am determined to stay out of bed today and stay awake! I have my big bridget jones styla pants on with a lovely heat pad attached to them to curb the tummy cramps and I am going to try and get some fresh air with the dogs today ( I will totally end up zonking out on the settee but I am going to have a good go at it all anyway!!!!)
Thank you for popping in on me!

A christmassy hello!!

Hi everyone!

well the christmas tunes have been on all weekend and I have been busy pootling away with christmassy makes!! I love it!!

For this one i decided to go with a really CAS base for my uber cute little bird from the Tiddly Inks for the birds clear stamp set, that I decided to fussy cut out and turn into a little robin for this job!!

Those gorgeous swooshes of brown are from the Die- namics Jumbo Abstract Art stamp set. I generously splodged on some Hero Arts Cup O' Jo Shadow ink, and stamped it twice, the lighter shade is from just re-stamping right away with the residue left over from the darker one. This ink is totally magic because when as dries it fills up all the little 'holes'.I really do love the effect it gave on this one.

I cut one of the Die-Namics happy hellos dies and just added it on top of the swooshes of brown. Then with a little white gel pen I added some gentle snow flake dots around the card and popped my little robin on with a foam dot so he popped out some sitting on his little 'o'!!

Then I doodled a little around the edges of my card mats, there's nothing like a quick doodle to soften up those sharp edges!!

Thank you for popping in
Huge hugs
Lou xx

Put your feet up.....

Stamp- Put your feet up from LOTV.
morning everyone!!

today is my gorgeous hubbies birthday so I thought I would share his birthday card and cake with you all!!

I loved making his card, I went for CAS and a stamp thats very him! he loves his gadgets and tv so Put your feet up was just perfect for the job! I stamped him on hammered card, I really love the effect your get from hammered card.

Te sentiment is from the silhouette store and I just coloured it in with my promarkers to match the colours I used on my little guy.

And the  the cake...oh there were tears over the cake!!! I used a small cake mix and ended up doing 3 layers because I half forgot I was making a big cake and not my normal fairy cakes!!! dopey me!!! but I decorated it good!! lol!! the layers inside are chocolate buttercream and one layer has amaretto cherries in, then the top has all his favourites on! Minstrels, maltesers, cherry liqueurs, chocolate fingers and homemade rum truffles...oh and a little choccy heart because we love him a zillion!!!

and then a little bit of a little Mo piccy!! its children in need today here in the UK and Mo's school are having a dress up as your superhero day. He has never been into the superhero thing yet but luckily he reads for england and loves his captain underpants books so thats what he decided on! now captain underpants is kinda naked with pants on but its way cold here right now and I don't want my lil guy naked so we cheated and went for white tight and t-shirt to go under his pants (...mamma drew some nipples on his t-shirt for authenticity!!!) and last night we had wayyyyy too much fun trying to get a piccy of little captain underpants flying!! it was tricky...since the flight only last like...2 seconds...!!!

but this one is my fav...I took it on my phone before we decided to fly the little captain underpants...
Right, got to go...got to help Mo get his costume on and pop some spare clothes in his bag incase he gets a bit cold with his tights on!!

Have a great day everyone

Tiddly Inks challenge 145... Remembrance or Honor...

Image- Poppy.

Morning peeps!! its time for a new challenge over on the Tiddly inks challenge blog and this time we want to see you get your Fairy thing going!! so the next challenge is...

Remembrance or Honor

so grab your favourite Tiddly Inks Fairy stamp or digital image and think along the lines of..
Thank you, thinking of you, remembrance, missing someone

(**remember...We love to see any new creation, a card, 3D project, journal page etc

but you must use a Tiddly Inks stamp or image to be eligible for the prize**)

I went for remembrance day with it being a very poignant day today and I was majorly inspired by all the stunning photo's my friends have been sharing of the ceramic poppies at the Tower of London.

I used red vellum and oh boy...that's a delicate one in itself so it really brought home the fragility and meaning of the poppy for remembrance day. And of course, Poppy was the most brilliant choice of image for this challenge too, she is delicate too...fussy cutting her legs was touch and go!!

I carefully painted the frame with acrylic black paint so it stood out a little more that matt black card. Then I cut a zillion (...well it felt like a zillion....!!) little poppies out to decorate around her feet.

This little make will be going to my mummy's house today. Not only was my Step-Daddy a SGT Major in the army and my mummy loves poppies so I know they will both enjoy it.

I'll be back in a bit with my make for the Passion for Promarkers challenge blog.

Penguin Joy!!

Morning everyone!!

oooooh christmas is getting ever closer and I absolutely love it! I have been playing away making my christmas cards this weekend. A mix of simple ones that are easy to post and floofy ones that I can hand over to family. This little cutie is one of my simple ones.

But honestly, these cute little penguins don't need anything else to go with them, they say it all with those chubby little cheeks don't they? awww they are so cute!!

Well hopefully today the BT dude will be able to sort out our internet, its been on and off all weekend and uploading is a real nightmare!!! while I am sleeping after work I am hopeful that it will all be working tickety boo when I wake up this afternoon!!!

Its time for a fabby friday over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog so I decided to go fabby and Funky all in one day and use some dog themed papers to go with my gorgeous little Silver dog.

I coloured him up all squiggly ( yup, literally all squiggly! get that fine nib on your pen and just doodle all over for fur, fun, quick and easy!!!) and then I fussy cut him and foam popped him up on the card base.

Its so easy to do when you have cute and adorable little guy just sitting on your paper!! and then those fabulous doggy themed papers to go with him! well, it was a win win situation really!!

Right, got to fly! there's friday fun to be had!!

I went all rainbow and happy for this one, I love how her feathers came out and how she pops out from the papers. There is a good old sprinkling of frantage around her too but its tricky to see! and I love that little inkadinkado sentiment, its just perfect.

Right, I am off to pop some sweet potato and parsnip chips in the oven for my lunch, we got our first frost here this morning and I am in the mood for a comfort kinda dinner!!!
