Happy Easter everyone|!!!

 Morning Peeps!!
I hope you are all having a wonderful easter, we are! The sun has come out for us and Mo and Poppy have already done their easter egg hunts and eaten their yummy treats!!

So, how do you get a super cheesy smiley child like this one you ask?!!!!!! well, that bits easy!!

You print out a tonne of happy funky papers from Funky Hand and cut them out with your biggest oval nestie, laminate, punch holes with big bite and add ribbon ( this must all be done at 10pm on saturday night so that the easter mummy....bunny can run around outside like a crazy lady hiding them all over!!!) then at 6am ( thank you BST clock change!!) Let loose one little excited guy after finding this outside his bedroom door....

and then attempt to take piccies whilst the little guy runs around like a loony with excited squeels of "oooh there's one" and "oooh another one!!" with a few " oh man, the easter bunny must be so tired after hiding all these!!" and " I am so excited!!" (...really...we couldn't tell....romfl!!!)

Count up all your Funky Eggs... now while Mo is counting up all these Funky Egg's let me remind you all about the huge sale and Easter Egg Hunt over on the Funky Hand don't want to miss that....
and once the eggies were all counted up and the little guy goes up to his bedroom to find his easter treats all on his bed, cheeky easter bunny snuck in and put them there while Mo was hunting eggies!!

And not forgetting our furball princess!! she got a hunt all of her own with a yummy hard boiled eggy!!  we left Poppy in the kitchen while we hid her treat....pop in toy tyre........

Pop her fav holey ball on top....
Let her loose to find her treat...which was duly gone in 60 seconds!! he he he he!!!
I hope you all have an awesome easter too. We are going to go for a drive to the beach for a walk in the sunshine and some family time!!

Huge hugs Lou xxxx

Saturated Canary challenge 40- Pastel colours...

Image- Set Free from Saturated Canary.
Die-namics Rustic hearts.
Die- Namics 3x4 notebook paper.
Coloured with promarkers.

Afternoon Peeps!

I'm back with my second post of the day because its time for a new challenge over on the Saturated Canary challenge blog!! and this week the challenge set by our gorgeous Bev is....

Pastel Colours.

Now this is just such a lovely colour challenge,I love pastel shades when I am colouring.

I decided on a SMASH page for my project. Easter is a super special time in our house and Mo has been reading the same story in his chldren's bible all week at bedtime, which I love because I never have to ask him to read that, he loves it and on sunday morning we will have an easter egg hunt. Mo loves that easter eggs are based on the shape of the stone from Jesus's tomb.

Onto my smash!!! I chose Set Free and a whole easter/faith theme. I find these the easiest of my smash pages to do because they come from my heart, they seem to just flow so easily when they come from there.

The bible page is my actual bible plonked on the photocopier and copied at 50%, those yellow tabs on it are my salvation!!! when I did my alpha course it was a tip given to us by one of the teachers and it has been awesome for me. Each book in there is tabbed up and  labelled with a post it mini....(now I must admit I need something a little stronger to tab them with because I have had to replace several from getting worn out, especially my Luke, Matthew,Psalms and proverbs tabs!!!) it shows the part I have been reading this week too.

I coloured up my Set Free image with my promarkers...
skin- blush,sunkissed pink, coral
Dress- pastel green,tea green,soft green,blush,coral
boots and hair- sandstone,cocoa,burnt sienna
grass- pear green and olive green with some blender pen texture using an old pair of jeans!
pastel yellow for the shine around her.

Here's a close up of my sentiment and embellies!! I love this sentiment. For lent I chose to give up negativity again, its a really had one to do and there have been moments where I have struggled greatly with it but I am pleased at how I rolled along mostly, I am going to carry on with it though. You can't see my bottletop on the piccy below but I LOVE them, I glossy accented a little heart onto it.

I used my grapevine wreath die to wrap around my sentiment and a couple of hearts along with a palm cross I made myself out of raffia.

So that's me for the challenge!!! Don't forget to pop in on my teamies because they totally rocked pastel colours with the most beautiful cards.

And the challenge rules are super easy too so please remember to follow them...

You must use either a:
Saturated Canary Digi
Saturated Canary rubber stamp,
or Simply Sassy rubber stamp
and follow the theme of the challenge.
and please remember you can only enter once.

Boho Anya....

Stamp- Boho Anya.

Border- co-ordinating sticker from Crafte paper.
Coloured with promarkers..
blush, sunkissed pink,coral
pastel blue,denim blue,midnight blue.
pastel green, tea green,soft green.
sandstone,cocoa,burnt sienna.
Morning peeps!!!
its a double whammy of Lou this week :) I wanted to pop in and share this little cutie with you. She is Boho Anya and isn't she just so sweet?! with all the cold weather across the UK I needed a little warm card!

The crate papers are just perfect to go with a little boho chick and I LOVED the sticker border, I can't find it in the shop but its one that co-ordinates with the papers.

So I only have one day at work this week and I have to admit I am pleased because I have had a rotten cold since yesterday, I seriously need some sunshine peeps!!!

Have an awesome day everyone! Thank you for popping in on me, I will be back later with my DT post for Saturated Canary's new challenge and its a lovely one!!

Due to the dead pooter I had to hit the printed out selection of digi's I have had in my drawer for ages and Sprocket was just sitting their on the top begging to be used. She is just gorgeous, sadly retired now but ooooh so cute so I got her all coloured up and then got to work on embossing some Kraft card and adding a little vintage photo distress in to bring out the embossing a buit more. I love dry embossing, its so quick and fun and ooooh the clockworks cuttlebug folder is just perfect for backing up Sprockets cuteness!!

Well, thats me for today. I need to go get Mo in the bath, we have bribed him up until 7pm by watching Frankenweenie!!! I love it!! I remember the short film version of it from back in 1984 and Tim Burton did an awesome job getting his original film into animation, I love stuff like that!!

Papers - Teen Angst from We r memoy keepers.
Coloured with promarkers.
Morning Peeps!!
So on staurday my big little boy turns 13!! ongosh really...sigh yep!! romfl!!! this gorgeous little man came into my life and geart when he was 2 years old and even though step families can be wobbly ( sigh.....) I wouldn't swap him for thw world.
And he has hit that when I'm not on my skooter I am on my playstation age so I knew this image would be just right. The rrainers had to be purple because Ryan has some purple high tops that he wears into the ground.....quite literally...they are kinda hanging to pieces...sigh!!!
I love the teen angst papers because they are just perfect for teenage boys, I love the 'whatever' word up in the top left there!! he he he!! and I added a little skull charm for coolness!!! I hope he likes it, its a biggy too at 8x8!!
I did make one little boo boo and printed it out onto my bright white thin paper I use for printing papers on but luckily he didn't smudge too bad!!
And here is my big boy doing a tailwhip on his skooter....

Well, I had better get a cuppa. I am on a special birthday beermat making misson for one of my friends today so I hope I can help her!!!...ooooh maybe she has heating and its warm in her house.......ooooooh!!! we are on day 6 of blooming freezing and still waiting to hear from people about fixing/ removing the boiler of doom. My new pooter has not arrived yet either so I am attempting to bumble along on Scott's all singing gadget boy one for blog posts and Ryan's old vista filled menace of a laptop in the house for general wombling but its sop hard to get used to something new!!

Thank you for poppping in on me, have an awesome day.

Tiddly Inks challenge 106- Anything but a card.....

Coloured with promarkers.
Morning Peeps!!!
its time for a new challenge over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and this week its......

Anything but a card...

and yes I did hear your blood curdling screams of anything but a card? whyyyyyyyyyy?!!! but seriously this one is so much fun!!

I went for a candle to console myself on saturday night when my pooter went to pooter heaven!!

I stamped my Everyday Magic stamp onto my Letraset paper, I have the 70mg one,its absolutely perfect for candles because you can colour it right up in the colours you want it to come out as once its all melted in. I made myself a little scene with the stars and added the sentiment on.

Once she was all coloured up I fussy cut as close to her as I fancied and then laid her on the candle, covered her with greaseproof psper snd melted her in with my heat gun ( I also considered melting dead pooter with the heat gun too.......)

So all you need to do to join in with us this week is get out your fav Tiddly Inks images or stamps and make anything but a card .....yes, I did hear you sigh again...he he he he!!!! so here's some idea's from the gorgeous Tiddly Inkers to get you started.

Huge hugs and thank you's for popping in on me, its a very exciting day for me today and I can tell you all about it now!! he he he squeeeeee!!! I have been asked to join the Passion for Promarkers DT!! squeeeeeeee!! I am so excited about it because I do so love my promarkers and colouring away!! I am also so honoured that Denise and Gina emailed me to ask me, it was such an awesome surprise. Thank you ladies xxxxx

Still no heating here...brrrrr so off for a cuppa and snuggle under a blanket with Mo and the furball princess!!!

I have so much to be thankful for these are teeny blips in a spotless sunshine!!....though a little heat would be lurvely!! he he he!!
so I used stampavie's Lili-Rose this card, she is so sweet and she reminded me of a warm spring day just vegging out in the grass with her little birdie friends. The papers and embellies are from the Basic Grey paper cottage paper pad, its gorgeous and I popped one of my stroke only use sparingly cherry blossom flowers on the little rustic hearts.
Right got to go, off on a grumbly dog walk with Poppy'spuppy training teacher! apparently the furball princess has the stuff these grumbly doggies need to help them get used to black labs so she is the decoy!!! lol!! bless her little cuteness!!!

a little bit of LOTV cuteness today!!

Ok, so I am late in here today!! because I spent oodles of time snuggling this.....
We watched almost all of The Hobbit and need to snuggle some more tonight to finish it off!! and for anyone watching the little guy's red nose page, he is up to a whopping £141.50!! ( and for those of you who fancy donating from across the sea its a bit tricky but can be done easily of you have paypal as you can gift the money to me and I can pay it in for you leaving your name and message for the little guy!!)
He is so proud of himself and gets so excited when he checks in on it and it has gone up some!! ( he is hoping to raise enough to buy a school for the children in Africa...!!)

and my craft desk looked like this........
and now my thumb looks like this....

ooooucchhhhh!!! yup, my thumb did an awesome job of finding my pokey tool in the pile of mess (...there is a lesson to be learned here but I know all my crafty friends will be rolling their eyes, shaking their heads and saying to themselves...yeah right like you are going to keep your desk tidy Lou!!!!)

Finally onto my card!! lol!!! lots of babies are arriving so I have been busy getting myself ready with a few cards and this is one I made over the weekend, isn't he a cutie? I love this stamp (......and every other LOTV stamp come to think of it!! he he he!!)

Right, I need to go mooch with a cup of tea, my thumb is kinda pulsing with pain!!! lol!!!

Have an awesome day and thank you for popping in on me

Lets get Lovey dovey!!!

Stamp- TGF Lovey Dovey .

Morning Peeps!!!

Its my turn to post over on the DTDF Inspiration blog today and I just had to get my TGF thang on this weekend!! I absolutely adore them and they are so nice to colour up.

I did some paper piecing on this one because the Basic Grey Lucille 6x6 pad is just way to delicious to put away once you get it out so I kept finding myself excuses to squeeze a little more of it onto my card!! he he he!!!

I also had to add a few pale peach pearls, I love these!! A little glossy accents is just perfect for sticking them down too as it dries so quickly!

I hope you all had a fabulous mothers day, I know I did. A gorgeous little guy bought me tea and toast on a tray for breakfast with a gorgeous card and some awesome socks for my present.
We went out for lunch with my mum and dad and Mo made us the most delicious tomato soup for our tea.
If you have a slow cooker get your little peeps to make some too, it was so lovely to watch him just working his way through all the ingredients in his annabel karmel cookbook and plopping them into the slow cooker all on his own ( man I love that little squidger so much)
what a serious cooking face!! lol!!!

Right well I need to get myself moving,I need to have a cuppa and some snugglies with the little guy then once I have dropped him off at school and walked the furball princes I am off on a walk with some grumbly doggies with my friend Fern to hopefully help them to be less grumbly!!

Have an awesome monday everyone!!
Huge hugs Lou xxx
