So first the new challenge! and this week its a super fun one for me because the challenge is.....
Make it like Lou!!
squee! thats me!!!! he he he he!!! and here's a piccy of the card you need to use as your inspiration...
You can go with the stamp, the layout, the colours...just use the photo as your inspiration and please remember to use a Tiddly Inks image.
for my challenge card this week I couldn't resist using Wryn Goes Caroling. I teamed her up with some gorgeous new Glitz design Joyeaux Noel papers, they are so yummy. I stamped on the distressed cream looking on with my penny Black Christmas Story slapstick stamp. The little sentiment on the heart is a Molly Blooms one. I added a teensy pearl to the middle of it. I bought both of the stamps on my little trip out to Sir Stampalot on saturday and I love them both!
For the colours on Wryn herself I tried to go for a lovely vintage sepia look using just 4 flexmarkers (...well it had to be using just 4 because I have ....just 4!!!!! romfl!!!!) here's a teeny row of pens used....
oooh and before I forget there's a new Wryn out today!!! wohoo!! she's adorable. here she is on my big sisters birthday card....
I even linked her to the shop for you because I am so super helpful.....:) :) :)
This morning Little Mo and I are off to take my mum out to meet my grandad in wragby for a cooked breakfast. It is becoming a weekly little trip out for me, mum and grandad so I am super excited to take Mo along and you can guess how excited Mo is!!! I am just so super happy that 4 generations of my family can still sit down in a little cafe and have a meal together. Then tonight my niece Lily-Boo is coming for a sleepover and then tomorrow wooohhooooooo! its halloween!!! I cannot wait, I absolutely adore halloween and Little Mo's excitment for the whole day followed by a halloween trick or treat walk around our street.
We only go to houses with a lit pumpkin outside, I have always taight my children only to knock on those houses because its a bit like a silent invitation to go, if I don't see a pumpkin I respect the wishes of those people who are not celebrating by not knocking at their door.
I LOVE our halloween walk and Scott and I always get dressed up too, I am not sure I will ever give up our halloween walk and will be making Mo come home for it for the rest of my days!! he he he!!!
Right I have a little furball princess giving me "please can I have my breakfast mummy" whines and eyes so I had better go feed her!! she is such a piggly wiggly we had to get her a food bowl with little mountains in it to slow her down when she is eating!! it works fantastically though and she is eating a lot nicer now.
Thank you for popping in on me!
Huge hugs Lou xxxx
