A racey birthday!!!

Morning peeps!!!

I had a fabulous day crafting with my little friend yesterday. She is 8 and We had a very busy day and she went home with lots of excellent makes, she loves her crafting and she is so good at it bless her.

Her mummy has been a bit unwell recently and I was worried she wouldn't manage to get out to buy a birthday card for her husband so being as we were having a crafty day I decided to make one for her to give him just in case she didn't feel well enough to shop.

I loved this Racy Roxie image from Kenny K, he loves cars and the lady I made the card for is so pretty I had to have a gorgeous image to represent her too.
She looks a little blurred now I look at the piccy but since it has gone off in its envelope I can't take another one, humpf!!!
I cut the letters using my base camp cart , glued them together and did some doodling with my white gel pen to liven them up a bit!! I made a lovey big A4 sized easel for everything to sit on. The border to hold the easel up is my martha stewart punch and the little hearts sprinkled around it are just the hearts left over from punching.
I have my niece and nephew here again today and one very excited little Mo who received a super present from one of my very special friends today. He was so happy and surprised to get it and has been over the moon with it ever since, awwwwwww.
This will probably be my last post of 2010!!! I just want to thank everybody for their visits to my little blog and the lovely comments you all leave me. They make my day and when i am feeling low they spur me on to keep creating and having fun so huge huggies to you all.
Have a wonderful new year everybody and I will see you all in 2011!!!!

Hope you have a tiddly new year!!!!!

Morning peeps!!!
I hope you are all having a fabulous holiday I know I am. We have had some really lovely days just playing and catching up with family.
Little Mo is recovering much better now from his mumps and throat infection, he keeps getting tired easily but is a lot cheerier than he was!!!
So onto my card!! I used the gorgeous Happy New Year tiddly ink image for this one. She is just fabulous isn't she?
I printed her out twice and cut one out with my lovely new nestie circles. I used the second one to layer her up and make her pop out from the card!!!
Her lovely glass of bubbly is pastel pink promarker champagne!! it has some gloss on it with some teeny bubbles in but I am not sure it comes out too well in the picture.
I added a bit of sparkle all over with my sakura pen and I have to say IRL it is so sparkly and gorgeous.
The sentiment is a freebie from Christy's blog (or the Tiddly Inks PCP group whichever you fancy popping over to!)
The gorgeous backing paper is from my funky hand Funky Seasons cd, I love the way it looks like confetti is floating all over it.
Anice has an awesome 25% off everything in the shop until noon on the 1st Jan so get yourself over there and grab some bargains. Keep your eyes peeled too for some very exciting new additions in the new year too, I am so excited about them.
Well, I had better get myself dressed! I am getting too used to wearing my pj's until we go out of the house!! he he he!!! I love the holidays!!!
If I am not back with another post before the new year is in, I hope you all have a fabulous time with your new year celebrations and roll into 2011 with lots of love and fun.
Huge hugs

Have yourself a merry little christmas!

Good Morning everyone!!
wow, its christmas eve already!!
I just wanted to get a quick blog post done to wish you all a very happy christmas. I hope you all have a wonderful day and enjoy your yummy lunches and most importantly of all, your time together as families.
If any of you are travelling, I wish for safe journeys and good driving conditions.
I made this little card to say thankyou to Anice and Christy who are both amazingly talented ladies and have made my year by welcoming me onto their design teams. They have both made my wishes come true this year.
The gorgeous merry christmas paper on my card is from Anice's shop, Funkyhand. It is from the Funky Little Christmas download and I love it. There are so many delicious downloads in the Funky hand store, you should go and visit it if you have never been before and I cannot wait until January as there are so many exciting things going to be happening at Funky hand. I couldn't believe it when Anice sent me the email to let me know I had made it onto her design team and the funky girls are all so amazing, like a big funky family!!! There is not one paper in that shop that I don't love!
So thankyou Anice for all the wonderful things you do xxxxxxxxx
The jolly little Something warm snowman is from Christy's shop, Tiddly Inks, I coloured him gently with just a teeny bit of pastel blue, blush for the cheeks with a few white gel pen dots. Christy draws the most magical images and they never fail to make me smile. I have so much fun with them and deciding what to do with them. I never fail to be inspired when a new one pops into my inbox! so Thankyou Christy for the constant inspiration to use your gorgeous images.
Well, I had better get back to the little excited peeps in my house today!!! I have been asked at least 6 times already if Santa will be here tomorrow and do I think he is packing the sleigh right now!! awwwww!!!!!!
So have yourselves a merry little christmas and thank you so much for coming to visit me and for taking the time to leave me such lovely comments on my blog posts. I love my blogging friends xxxxxxxx

Christmas hearts!

Morning peeps!!!
Oh boy I am so behind with christmas cards and bits. Today I have a lovely buzzing house full of children an one sick husband too!! lol!!! the children (all 5 of them!) are all having fun together.
Mo has managed to get up off the settee/bed and is slowly wombling around a bit.
Yesterday while they were all busy I had chance to get some more of my christmas cards done, I was so chuffed with myself!! Scott got me some stamps and off they went to be posted....then my BIL (who is a postman) came and I told him how happy I was some of my cards were done and posted and he said they might not get to people on time :( sob sob sob :( so I am so sorry girls xxxxxxxxxx
I am going to make happy new year cards for all the peeps whose cards I haven't gotten made yet!
So onto my card!!!! the gorgeous merry christmas paper is from Funky hand's Funky Little christmas download. I love it because it reminds me of kraft paper!!!
I printed it it right onto the card blanks ( really cute little ones from craftwork cards basic range, I love them!)
The little heart is cut from my george cart on my cricut in normal and shadow function. The blue layer is bazill bling and it looks so pretty IRL!! The cute little tag is Stampin up, attached to the snowflake wit a little bit of thread. The heart and tag are popped out with little foam squares for a bit of dimension to the card!!
I popped a little bit of a blingy gem on the snowflake too.
I really like this little card so I am going to make some more tonight (....if I don't zonk out after a busy day!!) Mo is at the doctors at 4:20pm to see if he needs any antibiotics, I am hoping the doctor will be running on time!! if not Mo will be asleep in the doctors surgery!!!! lol!!!!
I hope you are all doing ok with your preparations for christmas! its my favourite time of the year so I am all excited!!
Huge hugs,
Lou xxx

Mo's birthday card!

Good morning peeps!!!
Well this time 6 years ago I was in labour, ouch!!!!! at 5:46pm my gorgeous little mo came out to meet us! I won't bore you with all the trauma we had because he is such a happy little man and relatively healthy now!!!! ( ....says lou after spending most of yesterday evening trying to eliminate the temperature of doom he had!!!) He is so very special, and I am so thankful to have him.
So its little mo's birthday!!! and here is his card. He really likes the octonauts an on my yummy create a critter cart there was a pirate octopus that looked just perfect for the job!!

I cut him in blue bazill bling paper and inked his edges a squidge to help him stand out.He is sooooo cute!! I gave him some little rosy cheeks with chalk.
I decided on a little stepper type card. When my BF Fi and I went to a craft shop a couple of weeks ago for their opening the lovely nancy from C&C was making stepper cards with a tent of acetate over them and they were lovely so I decided to have a go at making one!!

And here's a close up of my cute little crabs holding the 6! I played with placing the 6 a little so they looked like they were running off with his 6! awwwww, they are cute!!!
The sand is embossed gold vellum with distressed stripes to make it look sandy!!!!
All the little extras are from create a critter too, including the sentiment, it is such a fabulous cart! I can see lots of little critter cards coming in the next few days!!!
So the birthday boy is off to the theatre with school today to watch the pantomime, he is excited but nervous all at the same time!! bless him!!
Must go and make him a little 6 badge for his school jumper now!
Thank you for popping in for a peek.
Huge hugs

He only has the teensiest bit of colouring on him.
Below is a close up of my little sentiment label. I made it using the PC Snowballs font from dafont. If you look closely you will be able to see the letters are made up of the cutest little snowmen. I typed i up in word on my computer and printed it out, then all I did was cut it out with my SU Oval punches.
The ribbons and red cardstock are from craftwork cards.I popped a little glittered vellum onto some black cardstock o make a snowy night look for my little snowman to sit on.
......so how can you join in on the fun?! find your favourite Tiddly Inks image/images and add some snow to your creation .

Submit your Tiddly Inks Snow card over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog ,using our fabby little linky tool ,by next Monday night at 10 PM (CST) to be in with the chance to win $20 to spend over in the Tiddly Inks store.

Jesus and the bicycles.....

I know, no card or creation but I just had to share with you little mo's wise words of the day!!!
We went to his nativity play today which was gorgeous!! and when we got in the car to take him home this is what he said....

"mummy do you know? Jesus and his bicycles wanted some peace and quiet to have a nice meal together so they went to a little town and there was lots of people in there already mummy and they didn't have any food but one little boy did and he gived Jesus some food and do you know what happened then mummy? ...Jesus breaked up the food and it fed everybody, Jesus, his bicycles, the old mans and ladies and the children. Wow mummy, wasn't Jesus clever? and do you know what mummy, one of Jesus' bicycles never stopped believing in him, not for one minute"

Oh I tell you!!! Scott and I were trying so hard no to laugh at the 'bicycles' which is meant to be disciples but how cute can this little guy get?!!!! he is like a little sponge. He soaks it all up and just amazes us but it is his way of telling us it back that makes him sooooo squishably cute!!!!
Well now I shared with you the wise words of little Mo I am off to watch Heston's christmas Feast!!
huge hugs Lou xxxx

Allsorts- Last Minute Christmas Projects.

Morning peeps!!!
Phew, what a busy few days!!
Now, before I go any further with my post I have to thank the very awesome Peri whose blog I have followd for quite some time now, she posted a card using Kenny k's xmas hottie a while ago and I loved it. (peri also just got runner up in cardmaker of they year along with my fellow funky DT teamie Jane so super duper well done girls!!). I have used Peri's card as a sketch for the layout of my teeny cards ( they are just 3.5x3.5 inches!! awwwwww) and tweaked it a little, its the sentiment and lace up bit that I loved. So thankyou again Peri xxxxxx
So as always with me the christmas cards are super last minute (...I tied the last bow up only this morning!!!!!) and with being last minute they fitted in perfectly with the Allsorts challenge blog theme of Last Minute Christmas Projects.
I have made 10 of these little cuties and they were a little tough to colour becasue of how teeny they were but I still think they came out great. I coloured them using my promarkers.
Here's the blondey variety......

And here is the brunette......

They have some gorgeous glittery sparkle on their hair and bows but the light here this morning is sooooo pants!!!!!
The red linen looking paper on my Funky Hand Colour Me Happy cd was just perfect because of its sexy holey sort of effect!!!
I made the sentiment on my computer and gave everything a bit of an inking around the edges.
I punched the lace holes with my crop-o-dile big bite, which was fab as all the holes were in the right place being able to punch the whole pile at once!!!!
The little pom pom ribbon was from dunelm mill (last years sale) and I thought it would add a bit more yumminess to the card!!!!
Yesterday I mananged to catch a little virus on my computer so Scott spent most of the day rescuing it!! Luckily all is good today and nothing got lost so I am so pleased.
We helped my mum and dad with moving into their new lovely bungalow and then last night I had a fab noght watching X-factor with the girls being as our lovely christmas meal had to be cancelled due to a problem with the marquee and ice making it too dangerous to enter.
Well, I must go as I have a chicken to roast before I go out to the cinema with the boys! We are going to watch Narnia for mo's birthday treat with Ryan as Ryan won't be here for mo's birthday on thursday.
Thankyou so much for popping in on me!!
Huge hugs

Tiddly Inks challenge 31- Musical christmas inspiration!

Morning peeps!!!

Deck the halls with boughs of holly....Fa,la,la,la,laaaaaaa,la,la,la,la!!!!!
Yup, that is my favourite christmas carol! I love it because it is happy and jolly and so much fun so its the very carol I used for my musical inspiration for my DT challenge card for the Tiddly Inks challenge blog this week.
So get out your christmas tiddlies and join with the fun!! You have until 10pm (CST) on the 13th December to add your project over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog using the fabbo little linky tool!!

For my card I use the supercute little christmas pixie from the Tiddly Inks store. She is just so lovely and cute and her holly looks were just perfect for my favourite tune!!! The holly paper is also from the store and I love it!! All the little berries on my card have glossy accents on them and they are so sweet!!
I used one of my fabby new hunky dory acrylic domes (that I bought from Jo's new shop, Let's create in coningsby.)
And here's the inside of the card!! I googled the lyrics and found this lovely vintagey looking picture that I saved and cropped a bit.

I made the sentiment for both the outside and inside on my computer and cut out some of the holly sprigs left on the card from cutting out the circle for my dome!!! I popped some on the front too around the edge of the dome with a few martha stewart branches.

Inside my dome I poured a few white seed beads ( that was not an easy task!!! lol!!!) they kept rolling around and in the end I had to tuck them in between poor pixies legs!!!!! the snow on the ground beneath her feet is torn vellum.

I coloured her with promarkers and here's the colours I used....

Skin-blush and soft peach. Clothes-berry red, crimson and pear green.Hair- buttercup and gold.

Then a few highlights here and there with my at you spicas ( oooh i love these!!!)

Phew!!! I think I remembered everything!!!! Must go and brave the cold and ice ( hoping not to get too close to british gas van man today after yesterdays dancing on ice!!! lol!!!!)

Thankyou so much for popping in on me!! huge Hugs

Get Funky for December!!!!!

Morning peeps!!!!
This months challenge over on Get Funky is this fabulous sketch, I loved it and had oodles of fun making my card and here it is!!!!.

I used my Colour Me happy papercraft factory for the papers on this one and the digi stamp is from the Dreams Come True papercraft factory.

A bit inking and stamped stitches (oooh I would of loved to say it was hand stitched!) and a little splash of colour on the digi with my promarkers and it was done!!!

Don't forget to pop over to the challenge blog and have a peek at all the Funky girls fabulous creations.

Today is a snow day for little Mo and I. Mo's school text at 6am this morning to say it was shut. Scott tried to dig out my car but with no luck and then one of my friends from work let me know nursery was closed so we get to play all day. I have blown up Mo's snow tube so we will probably hit the little hills today!!! yey!!!! Mo's asthma means it has to be in short bursts but we will still go!!!

Off to tog up now!!! hugs Lou xxx

Santa's letter!!

Hello peeps!!!
Well, its definitely white outside my little craft room!! When I came out it was just starting to sprinkle with snow. It lasted a good 40 mins and its settled quite nicely!!
And this is what I came out to create!! isn't she a cutie?! she is Check my list twice from Tiddly Inks (and if you peek on the top of my sidebar you will see Christy is having a bit of a white out over in the Tiddly Inks store, there are fabby savings so its well worth a visit!!!)
I coloured her up with my promarkers ( berry red and crimson for her dress, ice grey 3 and 4 for her boots, sandstone and buttercup hair, vanilla and soft peach for her face and pastel beige for her huge list!!!!

I made this envelope style card in my cricut design studio over a couple of years ago and I still love it. The tags, liner and little letter are all cricut too.The gingham is my fav again from my funkyhand cd, Colour Me happy, contented coffee colourway this time I think!! The 'letter' part I embossed with my cuttlebug and the script folder and the writing on the tags is from my computer and good old word!!!! Martha punched branches, card candy and a bit of frayed burlap distressing on everything too for good measure!!!

Our car is playing up a bit today so I am hoping I will be able to start it nicely in the morning from under its snowy duvet to get Mo to school and me to work!!! lol!!! My friends at work live around 40 mins away and its a bit heavier with them so please keep them in your thoughts for safe journey's tomorow morning too.

I am going in now for a nice cuppa and a bit of TV before I go to bed so don't forget to go over to Tiddly Inks for a little retail therapy!!! lol!!!
Thankyou for popping in on me!!

Snowy sunday and SU santa's!!

Morning Peeps!!
It is still nice and snowy here, the sun is shining so it may melt a bit but we are forecast a little more later tonight.
A couple of weeks ago at cricut club my lovely friend ,Heather, lent me her stampin up santa to stamp a few times for some christmas cards for my Aunt Audrey.
I stamped them in brown memento ink and they came out so beautifully. I wanted to keep the vintage kind of look so there was no colouring for this santa, just a bit of frayed burlap distress inking around the edge to match it all in the brown vintage effect.
The pretty embossed brown paper on the card is a sort of browny bronzey colour and I got it when I went to the kanban factory open day last year, its really is yummy.
I made some holly with my martha stewart punch and some red card candy.
I think my Aunty will love them. She only wanted 6 but I made her 7 for an extra one!!!!
The little firplace next to it is our christmas ornament!! it is my favourite as i love the little hanging stockings with our names on! its really cute.
I am hoping that with its monochrome look this card will be ok for the Allsorts challenge blogs Monochrome challenge. (If its not quite right ladies I won't be offended xxxx)
So Mo and I are just sitting on the settee with some yummy grapes waiting for a little visit from nannie and grandad and our frozen food from asda (.......which didn't arrive with the rest of the shopping last night, grrrrr!!).
Have a super snowy sunday!!!
Hugs Lou xxxxx

The tree is up!!!

Hello peeps!
No card today but I just had to share this gorgeous piccy of my three little christmas tree decorators!!!!
Mo always shouts "CHEEEEESE" for photos and this one caught him half cheese!!! lol!!!!

Today could not of started any better for Mo!!! His big brother ryan was here last night and ryan's little sister Mackenzie came to play for a few hours this morning. Mo thinks that Mackenzie is his cousin and ryan's mum is his aunty!!!! we leave it like that for now as it is sooo much easier than explaining all the step family bits!!!! lol!!! Mo and Mackenzie only have 5 months between their birthdays and Mo loves her to bits.
After spending almost an hour playing doctors in the little den I made for them (with fairy lights for lighting!!) and playing out in the snow we got busy putting the tree together for them to decorate. They did an awesome job! Scott and I just opened the box of trimmings and let them do their own thing on the tree whilst listening to Mickey's christmas cd, they loved it.
The lights don't show up in the picture but they do look pretty!!!

Then a lovely treat for me, Fi picked me up and w went on a little road trip to Jo's new crafty shop, Let's Create, over in conningsby. It was a lovely surprise as Fi needed a little escape from the house of sickly boys and I just had to keep her company!!!!! lol!!!! I picked up some lovely bits including some fabby hunky dory circular domes which i am going to play with later!! ooooh!!!
Now Scott and I are just waiting for our asda delivery so we can have a cuppa!!! we ran out of milk making hot chocolate for little people today after oodles of playing in the snow! Ryans football match for tomorrow has been cancelled so the boys are hoping for more snow overnight!!!
Well, off to my frosty craft room to do some colouring now!!
Hugs Lou xxx

LOTV glitter and glitz challenge.

Good afternoon peeps!!
I am sat warming up with a lovely mug of hot vimto and my blanket snuggled around me!! its freezing here!!! Jack frost had been dancing around in the night and we woke up to pretty sparkly fields and paths which Mo loved and to top it off the man on the radio in the car on the way to school said it is going to snow tomorrow!!! how exciting can one day get for a little Mo!!! lol!!!!
So onto my post of the day!!!
This is my cute new Rosie with presents LOTV stamp that I just had to use for a friends birthday which is tomorrow (mmmmmm...said friend can just forget about seeing this post until the postie brings her her card....though if it hasn't plopped through the letterbox in the morning said friend can just click on this post!!!!!! romfl!!!)

Its a Glitter and Glitz theme over on the LOTV challenge blog so I am sharing this little card in their challenge this week.
I am always sort of sad when I try to take piccies of glitter and sparkle because it never seems to show up :( and on this one my diamond stickles looks kind of yellow but it is gorgeous in real life!!! I have taken a couple of extra piccies incase you can just about catch it in there!!!!
I saw rosie in this red dress made ladybird look when I went to the NEC in birmingham and I loved it. I wish I knew who had made the rosie card so I could thank them properly for the inspiration so if one of the LOTV girls happens to be reading this please give the person who did that card at the NEC a huge squeeze from me xxxxxx

Here's a close up of little Rosie to try and show the glitter and glitz a little more!!! its so hard to take piccies of bling!!! Don't you just want to snuggle her up!!!

Rosie is stamped on watercolour paper and I used promarkers to colour her up so here's what I used......
skin- vanilla and pastel pink.
Dress- berry red and crimson with black glaze pen spots and at you spica glitter pen black and red highlights. cool grey3 and 4 on her cape.
pressies- berry red and crimson, sandstone and tan.
shoes- cool grey 4 and black at you spica glitter pen.

Well, I had better get a shower and some cosy clothes on and go fetch my little guy from school.
Thank you so much for popping in on me!
Huge hugs

Now bring us some figgy pudding!!!!!!!

Lol!!! morning peeps!!! its tiddly tuesday again and you all know what that means!!!!! yummy new images in the tiddly inks shop and an exciting new challenge over on the challenge blog!!!

I just had to snap up Pinky Pudding for my little easel card. I love Christy gothic girls and Pinky
was my first ever Tiddly buy so when Pinky Pudding came up she just had to fall into my basket and come and live with me!!!!
I used a bit more of my yummy red gingham paper from Funkyhand's Colour Me Happy cd to pop behind the yummy looking figgy pudding from the Pinky Pudding paper set that I printed out three times and popped out a bit with a of silicone to make it look even more yummy!!! The holly paper looks just perfect on the bottom of the easel with the SU punched scallops, the sentiment is LOTV.

Here's a sideview!! that way you can see the popping outness of it!!! romfl!!!!

Pinky herself was coloured up with my promarkers.
I used:
clothes- berry red and crimson with a touch of holly and grass on her tights and holly leaves.
skin- vanilla and pastel pink.
Hair- tan, sandstone and buttercup with some yumy gold at you spica highlights!!

The white bits of her santa dress are actually gorgeous fine glitter but it was hard to get a piccy in our grim UK weather!!!

So what do you need to do to join in with the fun over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog??!!
Use your favourite holiday/christmas Tiddly Inks images to create your card for the season!!!!

Since all that takes time, we have decided to make this a 2-week challenge again. Your christmassy creations will be due on December 6th at 10 PM---that is an extra week. So have fun and I can't wait to see what you all come up with after the yummy creationn from the fall princess challenge!

Right then, off foranother morning of work for me and a day of school for Mo. Thank you so much for all your get better wishes for him. He is improving a bit but still needing to take things slowly and let his little lungs catch up with him!!! urgh asthma!! but I cannot fault him at all for his cheeriness throughout it all bless him.

Thankyou for popping in on me!!!

Funky festive Tilda!!!

Good afternoon peeps!!!
Its another grey, dreary and wet one here in Lincolnshire today so I have been busy making bits and bobs!! I am absolutely shattered as little mo has been rather poorly with his asthma this week so I am functioning in zombie mode!!!
I have been busy pootling along doing my christmas cards for the lovely girls at work though and this is one of 8 I made on tuesday and wednesday. I saw a card very similar to this one in clare's shop, Cloud Nine, over in horncastle and I just had to have a go at it.
I knew I had the most gorgeous and festive coloured red gingham paper on my Colour Me Happy cd from Funkyhand. There are a couple of shades of red gingham on the cd ( along with some other very gorgeous gingham colours of course!!) but this little red one I used can be found in the Blissful Baby section of the cd. I simply trimmed it down and inked up the edges with my red versacolour cube.
I decided I needed to add some yummilicious magnolia swirls around the edges of mine and used my fabby new lacey circle nesties for the sentiment.
Tilda is coloured with promarkers.
Hair- sandstone and tan.
Clothing- berry red, crimson and satin.
skin- vanilla and pastel pink ( boo hoo hoo though as my vanilla promarker has now runneth out...!)
and a tiny squidge of highlighting with my white gel pen.
A bit of lovely red satin ribbon and martha doily hearts to sit on and Tilda was festively happy!!!!!
Tonight I am hoping to get Mo to stay awake until 6pm, cross your fingers for me peeps!!!! he has managed to just about stay awake until 5:30pm 2 nights in a row so we are pushing for a bit more tonight!! lol!!!! ( bet he still gets up at 5am though!!!!!).
He is sat playing with his shlech knights and a cardboard box made into a fort at the moment!!!
Right off for a womble around blog land now. Enjoy the rest of your weekends peeps!!!

Well little mo is watching Handy Manny so I have 5 mins to pop a post on my bloggy and join in with Julia's superb WOYWW, pop over to Julia's blog if you are not sure what it is but I love wombling over to everybodies crafty places, my only shame is never ahving enough time to comment on everybodies awesome sharings, though I do go visit all the linkies.
So to my lovely messy desk for today!!! woo hoo I finally started on some of my christmas cards. I saw a card that my crafty friend clare had made in her shop and I was so inspired by it that I had to have a go, mine of course is a little different as I just had to use my yummy new lacey circles for my sentiment and have a few magnolia swirls in there too, will take a piccy of my card later when the sun decides to come up!!!!!
I am so chuffed with it because I had my trusty Funkyhand Colour Me Happy cd for the gorgeous red gingham paper. I love gingham and it looks so festive and sweet with my little tilda stamp. If any of you already have it, I used the red gingham from the blissful baby colourway.

The crazy head photo on my back wall is of my little nephew Rufus who is 3 tomorrow! I made a card for my mum and dad to give him with the same photo!! Whenever there is a camera about he loves to get close and shout "cheeeeeeeese" into the lense! My super fabby hubby Scott managed to click this piccy of him doing it!! I love it! it reminds me of the cute little big head dogs you get on coffee mugs!!
And if anyone who knows me well saw the first piccy and thought wow, Lou's desk looks pretty neat today.................here's the rest of it!!!!!!!

I need to make a small squidgeon of space on this desk for my big sis sam to sit in tonight!! she designs he own range of digi stamps, Lilyboo designs over on cuddly buddly, and she wants to make a start on her christmas cards tonight....mmmmm where shall I put her?!!!

Oooh and I almost forgot!! I am so chuffed because I got an email from domonique over at wikio top blogs to let me know I was on their listings at number 246!!!! ( yup I know I am a long way down but woohhooooo!! i am on there!!!! lol!!!!)

So today I am going to work in my pj's!!! we are having a bit of a fun week to fundraise for children in need. I am soooo comfy in my pj's so I hope I manage to stay awake all day!!!

Huge Hugs

Scott's birthday card.

Hello everyone! Happy sunday!!!
Today is my amazing husband's birthday and this is the card I made for him yesterday at cricut club.
I knew how I wanted to layout my card when I got there but then Fi took this gorgeous brown paper (from an amazon wrapped parcel!) and said it was going spare if anyone needed a little...ooooh yes please!!! it looks great with the red coredinations card I used for my heart.
I hadn't taken any buttons with me so Heather came to my rescue with her pots of lovely embellies. This little brown button was sat looking at me when I opened the pot!!!
I distressed the edges with a bit of frayed burlap too.
The sentiment is hero arts and of course a bit of martha and pleated brown paper to go with it too.
Got to go party now with my nephew!!
huge hugs

LOTV's challenge 73- Anything goes!

Morning peeps!!
whoo its a blustery day here today!! the wind is whistling away at a zillion miles an hour!!!
This cute little christmas card is for the LOTV challenge blog.
This week they are celebrating the release of the New Lili of the Valley stamps “Party Girls” and “ Tea and Chat” and the 3 Sentiments Collections and it great fun because they are combining the Challenge with a Blog Hop. Just for this week you can use any make of stamp or digi for your project and join in the Challenge and the theme is ANYTHING GOES. The LOTV DT have been very busy making the most gorgeous cards for inspiration so pop along to their blogs to check them out. I have definitely seen many more stamps I need now!!! romfl!!!

Well I just had to use my gorgeous new little Skating Along stamp that I treated myself to a little while ago. I coloured her up last week but I have been taking a long time deciding on the background papers!!!!! These ones are nitwits and the lovely swirls are a magnolia stamp.

Here's a bit of a close up!!! She has a gentle bit of glittering on her trims. I made the little christmassy flowers with my SU boho flowers punch and some seedy beads, I think they look a little like poinsettia's!!! The sentiment is LOTV too!!

It had to be pink as the little 8 year old little lady it is for loves pink, dogs and shopping!!!!!! ( ...Lou hopes the little lady in question is not sneaking a peek at her blog right now......lol!!!)
OOOOh and before I forget!!!! here is what is sitting on the back of my little card!!! This is the stamp that the very lovely Vicky led me astray to buy from bunny zoe's!!! How cool is it?!!!!

Well, I must go now and take myself to the LOTV shop!! can you tell I wrote my post super quick to get there faster?!!! lol!!!! thankyou for popping in on me!!

LOTV new hat sepia card!!

Hello peeps!!!!!

I am having a very busy week this week and my throat is sooo sore!! but luckily I have blogland to cheer me up and Enfys's fabulous colouring sepia images with promarkers got me all inspired and raring to go tonight!!! Thanks En, you are a complete star for taking the time to do all these fab videos hun xxxx ( don't forget to enter En's blog candy for promarkers too!!)

So I didn't have the cute christmas LOTV Enfys used but I did have this little new hat one all stamped up in a pile of images. She came for a ride with me in the car and my little case of promarkers so I could colour whilst I waited for Mo to come out of school.
I used satin, pastel beige, and sandstone for this little cutie as I don't have cinnamon yet but she still came out fab. Then she got a little Antique Linen distress ink dusting and cut out with my super yummy new lacey circle nestie ( oh man I love these!!).
The papers are Laura Ashley Tradition and some gold paper from my stash. I made the cute little flowers using my stampin up boho punch with some Martha branches too.
Well I had better pootle off and take my big sis home, we have had our little crafty night tonight!!
Thank you for popping in on me!!

Tiddly Inks Challenge 29- Pretty fall princesses ( and princes!!)

Its Tiddly Tuesday again peeps and this week we have an awesome challenge for you over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog to have fun joining in with!!!
We are soaking up a bit of royalty and enjoying the beautiful autumnal colours that are around.
So get your favourite Tiddly Inks princess, prince or queen and create your project using fall colours and a background (your background can be non Tiddly Inks but please remember to use a member of the Tiddly Inks royal family for your character image!!)
And whats even more exciting is that you get 2 weeks to create your royal masterpiece this time so make sure you link your challenge entry over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog by 10pm (CST) on Monday 22nd November.
The Tiddly Inkers have rocked the challenge once again so go don't forget to pop over and get yourself inspired before you start!!!

So, onto my little offering of Tiddly gorgeousness!!! I used the new Dream Castle for my background and the very gorgeous Katrina . I coloured up my castle and Katrina using my promarkers and gave them a good old rub with my embossing tool to give them a bit of life. I printed out my dream castle twice so I could pop my turrets out, I think they came out cute!!!

I am very lucky when it comes to Autumnal papers as all I needed to do was open up my faithful Funkyhand Dreams Come True cd . It has its own little Autumn style colourway and this beautiful floaty swirly paper fit for a princess called out to me and shouted "ooh pick me,pick me!!" in a donkey from Shrek voice!! ( ....lou wonders if she has slept enough this week.....!!lol!!)
and a lovely green one from the same cd to make the grass and slider tag part of my card.

My sentiment is one from my making memories haul from TKMaxx a few weeks ago! I bagged a few sheets of these gorgeous clear sentiment stickers and the wish one was perfect for this card. I found a brown little rose and punched out some martha branches to go with it which I inked with a bit of orange, along with the rest of the edges of my card and tag.
I had so much fun making this card!! can you tell?!!!!!!
Oooh and if anyone loves this card design as much as I do its a surprise slider and here's a link to the tutorial over on splitcoast stampers.
I can't wait to see everyone's creations of royal gorgeousness!!
Well, I really must get ready for work and get in some snuggle time with Mo and a book before we go to school. I am constantly surprised by my little man at minute, he brought home his new books today and I opened one up thinking "omgosh, this ones a toughy" and he only struggled on the pronunciation of one name!! well done Mo!!!

Tuesday morning sketches.

Hello everybody!!

This is my card I made using the sketch on the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog. Now I wasn't aware this little blog was out there in cyber space but OMG am I glad that Christy told me about it!!! you need to go and visit yourself because I really enjoyed doing making this one and will definately be popping back there on a tuesday from now on.

This week there was the most amazing sketch to work from. I loved it, Thankyou TMS peeps!!!
This gorgeous Christmas Avenger from Tiddly Inks. She has been sat patiently waiting in my ever growing Tiddly Inks file ( if you haven't got any Tiddly Inks you definitely need some..!!)
I coloured her up in some christmassy colours to match my teeny tiny bells and added glitter to all the little places on my cute avenger that would be white and fluffy. I have had this box of bells for 3 years now and they just last and last!! I got them from Yellow Moon and they are just so pretty, they even jingle!!!! awwwww!!
I made her little sack look full of fabulous toys by embsossing it with my embossing tool on a foam mat.
I still have achey legs from walking around the NEC, I had such a lovely day wombling around with Fi and Margaret and got some lovely bits but man am I pooped out today!!! I am taking myself off to have a lovely soak in the bath in a minute before we go to fetch Mo from school.
Thank you for popping in on me, I do love visitors, Tea and biccies anyone?!!!!!

WOYWW- omg..what isn't on my workdesk.....!

Hello peeps!!!!
It has been such a long time since I actually took part in Julia's fabulous WOYWW. I Love this idea Julia had, its so nice to go and look every week and womble along to every one's fabulous work spaces but I haven't had time to leave any comments so I am rectifying that today!!!

So this is the doom that I can call my workdesk today......I am more than a little embarrassed to say it has looked like this for 3 weeks now...... there's probably mice living in there too now!!! romfl!!!
(the piccy is a little dark as it was taken at 6:30am this morning but the lovely mr.blogger wouldn't upload piccies this morning, grrrrrrrr!!!)

The teeny tiny space I have been working in, it may be small but I seem to be doing ok creatively in it!!! you can just about see the debris from my DT cards this week!! My Get Funky Tag it challenge card is laying down on the top of one pile ( scroll down my blog a couple of posts if you need a nosey at it!) and my Tiddly Inks color combo challenge card is kind of laying on its side...(thats what happens when you sort of throw them out of the teeny tiny working space to make room for some more creating!!!!!)

And this little super cute LOTV is what I am working on at the moment ( actually I have been working on it since sunday..........!) It is for a little lady who loves doggies and pink!!!
I am so excited because I have one sleep left until I go to the NEC!! is anyone else going tomorrow? I can't wait!! I have my little black and white shopping trolley all ready to go!! ( got to have something big to fill!!!!). So if you are going and you see a little me wombling around with her black shopping trolley with white flowers on, its me!!!!
Have a fab wednesday everyone!!!

Tiddly Inks challenge 28- Olive, Purple and Mustard.

Good Morning everyone!!

Well fall is on us now and the delicious colours of autumn are really showing through on the trees and landscape here in Lincolnshire, which is fantastic as the challenge over on TiddlyInks challenge blog is a colour combo this week of Olive, Purple and Mustard.

You have until 10pm (CST) next monday night to enter using a Tiddly Inks image and the colour combo on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog , so go and see what the fabby DT girls have been creating this week!

I decided to use the gorgeous Tiddly Inks Happy Day Bouquet for my DT card as I wanted to colour each of the bigger flower heads in one of the challenge colours. I also found some of my yummy making memories papers with the colour combo in too! Yey!!! I love the Happy Day Bouquet as it can be used for so many occasions!

I added some yummy olive and mustard chalk inks to the edges of my little easel card and papers to bring out a little more colour.

I made my little sentiment pieces on my computer and backed them with the same paper. I popped my bouquet and sentiment out on some thin foam squares and the card was done.
I was so inspired by the fall challenge that I jst had to get my blog background changed into something a bit more autumny!!!!

And this picture below.......well this is what happens when you sneeze when you are taking a piccy of your DT card!! it has never happened to me before and I thought it was funny so just had to share it with you all!!!!
Well, must go and get ready for work really.......though a duvet day would be much nicer!!!!

For my little ship card I cut a tag on my cricut in both normal and shadow function and covered the bottom half of each tag with the goreous bubbly paper on the Funky Daze cd ( one of my absolute favs!) and the little ship digi on Dreams Come True. I love how cute the ship looks riding its wave!!!
I used more of the paper on the base of my card, adding a little EK Sucess punched border ( dotted wave) and having fun adding some inking around the edges.
I added a little co-ordinating ribbon to my tag and made a sentiment on my computer using Harrington font.

Now I know ooodles of you have fabulous Funky Hand cd's, there is even a freebie here in the store, so pop on over to the challene blog and check out the DT's awesome creations, get your tags out and Get Funky with us!!!!

Happy Halloween!!!!!

Happy Halloween everybody!!!!!!

I thought I would share a piccy (....or 2) of the front of our little house and my little mo potter!!!!! oh and not forgetting the hound of hell ( our dog Zaky!!!)

Mo is so excited as he has some little friends coming over this evening to go trick or treating with him, he actually got up at 5am this morning and announced that he was ready to go!!!

Inside our living room we have lots of webs and spiders and a couple of wall pictures that mo likes. We all dress up and go out trick or treating, only calling on houses with pumpkins outside though. I have taught both my boys that if people don't have a pumpkin outside they probably don't want little people on their doorsteps and it is a little message that they have both taken on board really nicely. I am sure in my small little way people who don't do halloween like I do appreciate a little bit of peace from such a simple lesson from me to my little monsters!!!
Right on with the roast sunday lunch for me!! my clocks say clock change day but my tummy says "feed me,its been hours already!!!!" so I am off to finish off my gravy whilst the veggies cook and then we are going to have a lovely roast chicken dinner.
My mum and dad are making hot dogs for the little people tonight to warm them up before they go out spooking!!!!

A funky christmas!!

Hello peeps!!!!

So did you all catch Anice on create and craft tv this morning? I hope so because the funky hand DT girls completely rocked with their christmas cards this morning, they are all awesome.
Here is my little card that was sat neatly near the front ish during the show this morning! I was so xcited to see it there and even more daftly excited when Leonie picked up my little bag and rubbed it!!! he,he,he,he!! see it doesn't take much to get me all daft and excitable!!!
For this funky little christmas card I hand drew the heart and its shadow and the sentiment is computer generated. A bit of doodling and a cricut cut holly leaves with a little red holly berry button and it was done!! I really liked this one!!!

And this is my gorgeous little man watching Anice this morning!!!! in this piccy he is waving to her (...which he does everytime she is on bless him!!!).

Well, I am off to have a cuppa and catch up on everybodies blogs! hope you have been busy to give me lots to look at!!!!!
Hugs Lou xxxx
