Snow Family !!

Afternoon Peeps!!!
I am running late with my bloggy post today because I have been super lucky to have my little squidgy Mo-ster at home with me all day today. The teachers at his school have been supporting the public sector strike today so I got an extra snuggle day.
We have had the best day as we have spent it with my mum. Mum and I had haircuts then we popped to Asda and on to the garden centre for Mo to see all the christmas decorations, he loved it...and so did I!! have got my eye on some super cute decorations for the tree this year so I can't wait. I really really fancy having a real tree this year so I need to work on Scott for that one!!! :) I saw the cutest ever pom pom tree tinsel that Mo would absolutely love so I will have to work hard ;) !!!

Anywhoo!! onto my card!! My mum's friend has ordered 6 cards this year and this is the first one I have got done out of the order!! its a biggy!! its an 8x8 inch card. I am new to 8x8 cards but oh my I am loving them!!

I was completely inspired for this card by the Allsorts challenge blog peeps, they rock!!  so I am entering this card into their Pennants/ Bunting challenge.
I am also popping it over in the I love Promarkers challenge blogs snowmen and snowflakes challenge. The Helz cuppleditch paper has the cutest snowflakes all over it, I love it! its from the Festive Treats 12x12 stack (....just to enable you of course....:) )
Promarkers used- snowmen- pastel blue to outline the snow peeps inside, burnt orange and ginger noses, boys have cool grey 3,4 and 5 on their hats and the girlies have antique pink and pastel pink hats. The boys have poppy, cardinal red, pear green and olive green on their scarves and the girls have pastel blue, denim blue, antique pink and pastel pink on theirs.

I absolutely love my new SU pennants punch set and stamps and on an 8x8 card it is just perfect for getting that hanging bunting effect and the image to fit together perfectly and not get sqooshed in. I popped my snow family out on some foam tape and added a papermania sentiment stamp punched out with my SU oval punch set (.....Lou reads the post back and realises she is addicted to SU stuff.......!!!)

The snow peeps are an old freebie from JellyPark. It was just one super cute little snowman but he told me he was lonely, needs must so he got resized and flipped a few times to make a cute snow family!!!

Right, I had better go and get the yummy chicken and sausage casserole my mum made us this morning dished up and eaten and then once my gorgeous little man has gone to bed tonight I need to get some more crafting done!!

Huge squishy Hugs!

Advent calendar fun!!

 Good Afternoon Peeps!!!

I am sorry I have been a bit quiet this week, I have really been struggling with a nasty virus. I thought I was better for a couple of days and then it came back with double doozey strength so today I am feeling a bit tender but a bit more me too!! he he he!!! :)

I have been locked away in my little crafty garage this morning finishing off my advent calendar for my brothers children. I haven't really seen them since the summer holidays so I wanted to send them a little fun advent.

I used some favour boxes I had left over still from my wedding a few years ago as the boxes and cut some petal envelopes from my walk in my garden cart on my cricut for the doors. The little tags are made with the SU jewellery tag punch and the little handles on the doors are gold coloured split pins.

Here's a few of the doors open of the ones I have already managed to fill up........
I have promised myself not to put sweets in all of them.....:) so there are some festive jingley bells and wooden decorations for the tree too. I just have some more bits to make to pop in and then it will be ready to go. Tonight I am going to work on Mo's advent....I better get it done quick!!!!

I am entering my advent in a few challenges they are.....
craft your passion challenge- Tis the season!
totally papercrafts challenge-christmas!
simply create too challenge-all about christmas

Right then, thats me for today. Off to fetch my little squidgy Mo. I was told this morning as I kissed him goodbye at the school gate we are watching Cars 2 together tonight! sounds perfect to me on a cold windy day, snuggles on the settee, pefick!!!

Owl always love you!!

Image- retired free image from Christy at Tiddly Inks.
Hello peeps!

I am actually feeling a little better tonight....well, who wouldn't after 2 max strength flu relief tablets, some buttercup syrup, a good rub of a 4Head stick and a cuppa?!!!! :) :) :)

I made this card a couple of weeks ago and haven't gotten round to sharing it yet so thought I would tonight! the image isn't available anymore, it was a gorgeous freebie from Christy last christmas but I adore it. I was asked to make an anniversary card and I always find owls so romantic as most owls mate for life, I love that.

I really didn't have to add too much to the card apart from some gorgeous Funky Hand paper from the I do wordbook download, distressing, some martha stewart doily lace punching, gorgeous thread, a heart charm and some cool writing on my pooter with hearts that are part of the letters, super cute!!! Then the sentiment was punched out with my SU oval punch set, another fav of mine!!...oh and of course the much needed magnolia swirly stamp!!
Now my BF says she has fallen in love with a different magnolia swirl but I just know she will come back round to this one soon!! :)
This little card is going in for a couple of challenges today, they are....

Right, off to watch masterchef australia now! I love it!! we are a little behind in the UK and I know who wins but I still love every episode! then celebrity get me out of here, I absolutely love Ant and Dec, they make me laugh soooo much!!!!
thank you for popping in on me again!!
huge hugs

Get Funky- Christmas 'v' Non- Christmas!!

 Morning Peeps!!!
I hope you all got yourself some fabulous funky bargains in the birthday sale yesterday!!

This morning its time for me to share my christmassy 'v' non- christmassy makes for our lovely Jackie's Challenge over on Get Funky- to make a traditional christmas something and a non- christmas something!!
The funkettes have all been using the latest Funky Hand craft CD Twelve Crafters Crafting for both cards.

For my first make I used the awesome Funky Freebie Anice made, co-ordinating with the vintage christmas colour way on the cd, I absolutely love it! those little trees are way too cute!! I teamed them up with a little gingerbread man and some hearts using some funky scraps from my stash of scraps and a little poem I found on google written in the workspace on 12 cc.

Then it was onto my nono- christmassy make!! I just had to use the pillowbox template from the workspace too, It is fabulous. You can resize it if you want but I just have to tell you that the size it goes on to fit an A4 piece of paper is fabulous, I made my mum one the other day for her friends new baby and we fitted a cute little onesie in it!!
I used Angel on the Tree colourway for this one, the parcels are one of the digi's from the workspace and the text is done in the writer part of the workspace and it my very favourite text on there! it makes the coolest ever labels!!!

If you don't own any Funky Hand products yet don't worry as Anice always include a Funky Freebie paper on the website www.funkyhand.com each month especially so you can join in.

I have been a bit poorly this week :( ( don't tell my BF'cos I have been telling her it was just a tickly cough and I was fine!!) but last night I took some tablets ( am not a lover of cold relief type tablets as they knock me out a bit!!) and attempted to make myself look alive and I had a super night with my BF at the ladies night. I was so super excited to see all Fi's bits flying off the table into peoples bags. She is so very clever and had filled the table with all sorts of gorgeousness, I so wish I had taken a photo now because it looked so pretty.

Today I am resting up a bit and trying to get better!! I have so much to catch up on because  I just haven't been up to doing much since tuesday!! tine to get the Lou mojo going again!! :) :)

Have a fabby day everyone

Autumn Baby Jake!

Image- Baby jake from Saturated Canary Digi's.
Morning Peeps!!

Now, try not to giggle at me too much but did you ever make something and think you would really rather keep it yourself?!!! yup that would be me with this cute little pillow box!!!
The challenge over on the Saturated Canary challenge blog is autumn colours and one of my mum's friends had a baby boy last week so instead of a card I made this cute pillowbox, (..which is actually big enough to nicely fold a cute little onesie into!!)

I used ginger and honeycomb promarkers to get that lovely autumnal orange onesie on Jake and then sandstone, caramel and cocoa for his cutie little hat and boots. He is just so squidgey cute, I want to squidge those little chunky knees!!!!

I made the pillow box using a template from Funky Hand's new 12 crafters crafting papercraft factory and using the workspace I opened the template and then swapped to the craft the year away one to get that gorgeous autumnal spotty pattern.

Little Mo has a breakfast date with his BF Sophia again this morning (...which is great as he has been asking for her every morning since she came last week!!!!!) so we are just waiting for her to arrive now! Mo has been up and down to the window like a yo-yo!! He says " its best to look out the window every 5 mins because that makes her get here quickerer" .......she lives right next door!!!

Here's another piccy of baby Jake from a different angle!!
I added some rafia, stamped leaves and an orange rose for decoration and then a little SU stamped tag, cute!!!

Have a fabby day peeps!! once I have dropped the little peeps off at school and nursery I am going to have a few hours making some more bits for the ladies evening on friday, I am sooooooo nervous about it but at least I get a whole night with my BF!!!!!!
Thankyou for popping in on me!!

Tiddly Inks challenge 74- Anything Goes for 2 weeks!!!

Image- Hedgie Hugg from Tiddly Inks
Paper and easel card template- Twelve crafters crafting from Funky Hand

Morning Peeps!!
How are you all this fine Tiddly Tuesday?!! :) Yep!! its Tiddly Tuesday again over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog and that means more challenge fun from the Tiddly Inkers and new images in the shop!! yey !!!!!

So what do the Tiddly Inkers want from you this week????? well, we have been enjoying the Anything Goes month so very much and seeing all your awesome creations that Christy thought we should be spoiled by your talents for another 2 WEEKS !!!! I am so very excited about this because it has been awesome to see so many new faces and be wowed by your cards/projects. Thank you so much to each and every one of you for playing along with us and giving us so much inspiration.

For my card this week I wanted to use Hedgie Hugg. I love this image and I wanted to get started on my personal christmas cards. I printed out the easel card from my Twelve Crafters Crafting cd rom and a couple of the papers to make the hearts with. Now, this was the first time I had used the easel card template and OMGosh!! what a compete joy it was to make, I printed on both sides of it and I love how it came out. I cut some hearts out with the papers I printed out on my cricut and added a bit of rafia. It made such a perfect platform for my image.

When I coloured my cute little Hedgie Hugg I kept to the colours of the card and she looks so sweet all festive!! cute cute cute!!!! I popped glossy accents on her hearts and left a nice white shadow around her when I cut her out so she popped out from the card.

Now enough about my card and onto the awesome new image in the shop!!! Please meet Genius......

Isn't he just squishably cute?! he even comes with an extra little mouse and sign so if you love him as much as I do, just click on him to be magically pinged to his little place in the Tiddly Inks shop. When I showed him to Little Mo he was so excited and has now decided that he needs to get some mouses to go in his school trouser pockets....!!!

So thats me for today. Little Mo and I have dental appointments this morning...ARGGGGHHHHHHHHHH, oh my I sooo don't do dentists but I am a model mummy and don't show Mo my fear. I have to be really careful as Mo has black extrinsic tooth stain, the staining on his teeth is black instead of yellowy like most children so he has to go to the dentists regularly to get them cleaned. His new teeth are coming through yellowy so hopefully it is just happening to his milk teeth and will go when they have all gone, fingers crossed!!!

Have a great day peeps!! huge hugs Lou xxx

Baby Tilda

stamp- baby tilda stamped in rich coca memento ink.
(Evening in June colourway)
Hello peeps!!!
How are you all this super foggy sunday?!!! We are having another lazy day here! the fog is not enthusing us with wanting to venture out as its really cold too!!
I had a baby card order from my mum last night so I decided to get busy with that this morning. I didn't fancy using just pink and wanted a summery zing to it to cheer me up from the foggy outside so I went for the Evening In June colourway on my Funky Hand Craft The Year away papercraft factory.
I stamped the baby on watercolour paper and she came out so cute and coloured her in then stamped her again her again on some scraps of the pink paper I used to paper pieced her little bow, frilly pants and slippers to match the pink paper.
I punched out some teeny martha stewart butterflies and layered them up a little, sparklying up the edges. They looked so sweet!
The pennants are from my SU pennants set, I stamped the little stitches on and then punched them out with the punch.
I really struggled to get a piccy today so I am sorry for the fuzzy wuzziness of it.

Right I am off to get my sunday tea cooked now as we were up early and out tummy clocks are messed up!!!

My little wally !!

Morning peeps!!
Phew!! its been a busy couple of days!!! it has been children in need all the way this week and I have loved it!! Mo needed to go dressed up as his favourite book/ cartoon character and he chose Where's wally
( waldo for my friends over the pond!) so I had to get to work on a hat, stripey top and a walking stick for him. It was so much fun.
Here's my little wally....
Cute!!!! I made his top by using one of his vests!! I made the stripes by masking the white off with selotape and then using fired brick distress ink to make the red stripes!!
I made his little hat with a dishcloth!! I sewed up the edge and the tied some string around the top. The very top bit I snipped little shreds into to make it look like a bobble and then I dipped the bobble and the bottom of the hat into some red food colouring! Here it is...

His walking stick was just parcel wrapping covered in seloptape and shaped around with a little bit of clear plastic to hold the curved handle shape.
Mo had a super day and was even allowed to wear his costume for his tennis lesson which he thought was super!! then to top it all off he chose a few cakes from the cake sale we were having at the nursery where I work! he had a pudsey biscuit last night for pudding and tghis morning he had " a melly cake" ( a cake made by my friend Mel's mum!!) for his breakfast!!! There are someleft which I am sure he will munch through over the weekend! but its haircut day today so I had better get a wriggle on and get him to the hairdressers then hopefully a squidge of crafting for me today.
Before I go, my BF is teaching her first cricut class over at Jo's shop, Let's Create, so I want to send her huge huge (((hugs))) and good luck wishes. Fi's blog is here if you fancy leaving her some good luck comments, I know she would really appreciate them. She is so kind and caring so she will have them all buggy by the time she has finished her class today.
Have a fab day peeps, I will be back with some creations later I hope!!!
huge hugs Lou xxxx

Gorjuss chrimbles!!

 Afternoon Peeps!!!
I have had a busy morning pootling around everyone so I had to wait until now with my trusty cuppa in hand to bloggy my little sparkly card yet not a card!!! I made it last night for 2 challenges, they are...

So, above is a piccy of my card not yet a card! Its in the shape of a gift tag and it was from the fabulous Adela. You can find it HERE in Adela's yummy shop!

I had total fun with this one!! and even used my stamp that I bought from Clare in the summer holidays!! didn't take me long to ink this one up then.....:)
Here is a half opened "oooh what is it" side view!!!
and here it is all opened (....including the fake £5 I googled and printed out to pop in it.....Lou's mind thikns oooooh fab super cheap chrimbles...it looks so real!!!!)
I added lots of glittery sparkle to it using diamond stickles around the layer of patterened paper, sakura starburst pen for the teeny stars on her dress and a good old sprinkling of silver metallic thread stitched into the punched border piece and fluffed out behind the sentiment circle.

I am loving the non traditional colours on my patterned papers. They are (...of course :)   ) Funky Hand papers from the Angel On The Tree colourway of the new Twelve Crafters Crafting papercraft factory, I love it!! (last night I was working on a bit of something with the Vintage Christmas colourway but you will have to wait until next week for that one!!!)

Right then, I am off for a bloggy/facebook catch up before I go and fetch Little Mo and pop in on my mum!

Huge hugs, thank you for popping in on me!!

Tiddly Inks challenge 73- Anything Goes!!! Goes On!!!

Image- Tiny Dancer from Tiddly Inks.
Papers- FBQ Bear Necessities from Nitwit Collections
Morning Peeps!!!
Yey!! its that Tiddly time of week again and I have to say I am loving the creations that you guys are sharing with us Tiddly Inkers for our Anything Goes month over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog!! I can't believe you have all been hiding your talents!!!

My little make this week is a blessing for me as I was convinced Mr. Mojo had taken a trip away without telling me and wasn't coming back anytime soon!! of course, all I had to do really was open the Tiddly Inks file on my pooter, stuffed full of Tiddly goodness and he came running back to me faster than lightening!!!

I printed out my Tiny dancer (...she's so sqooshably cute!!!!) and then I made myself a card base in PSP. I also printed out an extra star and made one of the buttons extra big to mount her on, along with the little journalling rectangle that I stamped happy birthday onto.
The reason I wanted to add all these little extra shapes was to join in with the fabby sketch challenge over on the Fetch A Sketch challenge blog, here is the sketch, if you click on it you will be magically pinged to the blog...
A little bit of bling for her tu-tu and some little pearls and she was done!! yey!! go Lou !!!

So, have fun creating a bit of anything for our challenge this week, but you must remember to use a Tiddly Inks image to be in with a chance to win the prize.
Please pop on over to the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog and see what the Tiddly Inkers have been up to because man they have me in awe every week!!!

Thank you for popping in on me!!
Huge Hugs Lou xxxxx

My gorgeous hubby's birthday!

Papers and present- Happy Happy Birthday from Funky Hand.
Morning Peeps!!
Its my amazing husband's birthday today and I thought I would share the card I made for him last night (...yes, I know it was leaving it a bit fine but mr mojo is only coming in bursts at the minute!)
Luckily I had a little idea bubbling in my little fuzzy head so I picked a few papers from the Just for Men colourway on my Happy Happy Birthday papercraft factory from Funky Hand and got busy!!

I even paper pieced my little mini tilda stamp! I stamped her in memento rich cocoa on some of the patterned paper and a scrap of my normal colouring paper then cut out the bits I wanted to piece onto her like her bow, dress and socks.
I made the pressie all patterned by popping it onto the spotty paper I wanted before I printed it out in the workspace, I love that workspace!! I coloured in the bow and popped it out on some foam. Tilda is popped out too.
And now.... the little guys make for Daddy!!!
Mo wanted to make a "card and present in one please Mummy" and he knew exactly what he wanted to do which was fab!!!
He chose the Craft The Year Away papercraft factory and the "wordbook making bit" for his. I love the way he describes what he wants, it makes me giggle :)
He wouldn't let me help other than to push the big bite down to make the holes!! ( he isn't keen on the big bite as he squished his hand under the handle once!!) He cut them out all by himself and only needed me to line them up for him to get them all the right length.
I love that he added those little MS punched butterflies. He said  " I need to use his punch from clare's shop" .....I don't mind the fact that that was about the only thing I bought from Clare's a couple of weeks ago for me.... :) and he glued them on "all flyey floaty" cute!!
Then he added some pictures of him and daddy doing things they love to do together.
This page is daddy in goal and mo kicking the football. I adore that he added those little swooshy lines from the ball going fast!!! I also love that Mo is not afraid to write down his feelings, I think that is so important for little boys to be able to do that.
This page is daddy and mo one of their bike rides. Mo has a little tag bike that goes on Scott's bike when we go to clumber or out for long bike rides.
This is daddy and mo washing the car!!!
And then Mo had to try out my new SU pennant punch to make a flag!! he had seen it in my SU catalogue and thought it would be fab for a best daddy flag!! attached to a cocktail stick!!
Mo has a lot more mojo than me at the minute!!! but this wordbook present is just so adorable and special for daddy. I love that there are wobblies in his cutting and sticking because it is all done by him. He loved tying the knots in the string through the holes as he always struggles a bit with knots and got these ones first time, clever chap.
So thats us for today!!! Mo is off to school and super excited as we are picking his best friend, Sophia, up from nursery on our way home for a play. She lives next door and he adores her!! he thinks she is cute and loves looking after her!! Scott and I are off together today and we might go out for a birthday lunch at damon's, yummo!!!
Huge hugs and thank you's for bearing with me on a proud mummy post!!!!

Snowman for Allsorts!

Morning Peeps.
First I need to say sorry for not being a good bloggy peep this week. It has been a hard week for us and we are missing our dog Zac so much in so many ways. He has left such a huge hole bless him and we are all a bit lost and wombling around the house in a muddle.

I got an email from Krista this morning to say I had got in the top 3 over on saturated canary challenge blog and it had my top 3 blinky attached which cheered me up so much, thankyou team ST!!!xxxxx

So this morning I have been trying to keep myself busy with a few challenges. They are....
allsorts challenge blog which is Black, White and one other. I have to say that is sooooo much harder than you think!!!!!!
Totally Gorjuss - Christmas Traditions challenge - I love snowmen and alwys associate them with chrimbley traditions, they are just so much fun to make and even more special when you can make them on christmas day, oh I hope there is snow on christmas day!

I had an order to make a 10 pack of chrimble cards for one of my mum's friends who loves Newcastle United.
So, my colour choices were Black, White and blue ( .....I hope this is OK as there is a teeny squidge of  colour to compliment for his nose and holly...)
I just had to use my Funky Hand Rainbow Stripey Stripes download for the Black and white stripes and the snowman is one of my fav's from Tiddly Inks, warm wishes.

If you look really closely you will see the Newcastle United logo just on the front of my little snowman's snuggly hot mug of cocoa!!! I snuck it in using photoshop and I think its a super way of sneaking something personal into a card because its really subtle, the reason I chose the blue as my one other for allsorts is because of the blue in the logo!

Today we are just going to pop to B&Q and pick up a little tree to plant for Zac. Scott and I are a little concerned as Little Mo got upset on thursday night when it was too foggy to see his Zac star so we think a little tree in his little garden bench planter in the front garden will be better, Little Mo thinks its a super idea so he can sit and chat with Zac so thats lovely.

Have a fab day peeps! see you all on my bloggy womble tonight.....might take me a while as when I clicked my reader on this morning I have 423 posts to catch up on........:)

Huge hugs and thankyou so much for all your lovely emails and support this week xxxxxx

Surfing the Yule Tide!!!

Morning Peeps!!
I am a bit late in blogland this morning as Little Mo and I were so snuggled up comfy watching our Anice do her Funky thing over on C&C that we almost forgot to go to school!! ooops ! :)
But don't worry if you missed Anice's 8am slot if you were still in beed because she is back on again at 1pm to show the new Twelve Crafters Crafting and some great deals on the other papercraft factory cd roms too!!!

I wanted to share this manly little card I made using the Angel on the Tree colourway from Twelve Crafters Crafting. Man cards are soooo hard but these little penguin dudes are way too perfect for the job!! and  I decided they looked like they were surfing!!
Within the fabby domain that is the workspace on the program I added my own little sentiment by writing a bit at the top with the writer and then adding the Yule Tide digi stamp!! Love it!!!!

I printed them out and mounted them onto a couple of different papers from the cd rom and then popped them up on a bit of foam tape for added poppingoutness!!!!!!! and added a cut out sprig of holly from the coloured digi stamps in the workspace.

I made a matching inside for the card by using the merry christmas sentiment digi and the uncoloured penguins. I love how it came out and finished the inside of my card (....mmmm please excuse the shadow of my camera bumping off the white inside!!!)

I am entering this cutie in a couple of challenges....

Papertake weekly- 1st Christmas cards of the year
Cards for Men- Its nearly christmas
Tip Top tuesdays- anything goes christmas

Don't forget to tune in to C&C at 1pm and see Anice demo the new Twelve Crafters Crafting cd rom, at the weekend Little Mo will be sharing some of his makes from using it. I cannot say enough how fab these papercraft factory cd roms are for mini sized crafty peeps. he is just 6 years old and has so much fun making things using them. He has made a lovely start on his christmas cards for his friends and thinks its fabulous that he can "pooter write" the names of his little friends on the front!! too cute!! and fabulous as they are so personal. So if you want a crafty program for you little peeps head straight for Funky Hand.

Now I am off out to my crafty garage, bit cold here so have saved my tumble drying to do while I am out there!!! it warms my little crafty garage up a treat!!

Tiddly Inks challenge 72- Anything Goes continued!

Morning Peeps.

Its Tiddly Tuesday time again and us Tiddly Inkers are in full flow with our anything goes challenge month over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog.

I went for a whimsical christmas tag for my creation this week. I printed out my snowman and sentiment
( ..the sentiment comes with the snowman and I love it!) Then I ran my tag through my cuttlebug with a TH embossing folder and rubbed on some faded jeans distress ink.
I ripped up some of my glittery speckled vellum and added one layer to my tag, then my little snowman and then another ripped vellum layer over the bottom of him.
Next job was a good old bit of hand stitching with some blue metallic thread all round the edges. I also stitched the sentiment on!!

I added a blue eyelet to the tag hole and then popped some thread through it, then stuck on some snowflakes here and there!

So get your tiddly thang on and come and join in the tiddly inking fun using any tiddly inks or one of christy's stamping bella's.
***** EDITED IN TO SAY*****
Thank you so very much for all your lovely messages about our beautiful dog,Zac.
Last night we each lit a candle and wrote some little messages for Zac to help little Mo understand it all.
I think it helped a great deal but waking up to a house without Zac in has been extremely hard this morning.
Love you Zaccy xxxxxx

Night Night sleep tight Zac xxxx

Zac Daubney 1994-2011.
Hello Peeps.

Today my post is for my beautiful dog, Zac.

I am a little bit numb and so very very sad. Today our gorgeous Zac went to sleep. It was such a very very hard decision but his back legs had gone and he was struggling. Scott and I have been putting off loosing him because we love him so very dearly but after a year of our beautiful Zac struggling and going so very thin we had to say good night to him. He has been the most wonderful friend anyone could wish for and when I can stop crying I am sure I will be able to remember those times properly but for now, it just hurts.

The vet was so wonderful and caring and I cuddled him up tight to me as he went off to sleep. Scott and I are totally heartbroken and it is all sinking in for Little Mo at the moment. I have scheduled my Tiddly Tuesday blog post for tomorrow as I am just too upset to do too much tonight and need a night to let it all sink in properly. I am so sorry if I miss all your lovely creations for a couple of days while I sort myself out.
It is the hardest thing and I miss him so very much already.

Hugs Lou xxxx

HMS Grandad!

Morning peeps!!
I had an awesome day at work yesterday and then went out to our local restaurant for a 2 for £10 tea with Scott and Little Mo, it was Mo's idea (...and a totally awesome one too may I add!!!) Mo's meal was free as children eat free so it was lovely not to cook and have some family time.
Then when we got home we had a bath and Mo and I fell asleep......until 6 am this morning!!! poor Scott!! (..though he probably enjoyed a night of peace and quiet!!!!)

This little cute sailor Tilda card was an order from another friend at work (...got to love my friends at work because they all keep me going on making things!) She needed a birthday card for her Grandad and he likes sailing boats.....out came Tilda and my FBQ Aye Aye captain from nitwits!!!

I am going to pop this little cutie in for the Just magnolia challenge blogs special monthly anything goes challenge

Now we are off for a little drive on our little car as I have run out of one of my fav colour promarkers. Its saturday so we are going to treat ourselves to a yummy cake too!! Luckily my friend Clare has a gorgeous shop in Horncastle...right next to a yummo bakery!!! yey!!!!!

see you all later!!

I had a bit of a last minute card order yesterday from a friend at work who needed an anniversary card for his girlfriend. She is a vet so he wanted something animally and nice with a rose on it somewhere and thats all I could squeeze out of him so this is what I came up with...!!!

I used my Best of friends image from Christy's shop. How could I resist a pair of loved up pets???!!! and I added the sentiment stamp so David can fill in all the special dates and stuff before he takes it to his girlfriend.

I coloured the dog and kitty up to match the papers and then had a good old dig around for some pink roses to match (...yup there's mess everywhere now but they look sooooo pretty!!!)

Off to work for little ole me again today so cuppa in hand I am off to do pack up for me and Mo.

Have a fabby day peeps!
Huge hugs Lou xxxx

New Home!

Morning peeps!!
I had an order for a new home card for a friend at work that I decided to play with last night. It is for my friend's BF so it had to be something special and they have been on lots of caravan and camping hols together so it just had to be winnie from krista's shop!!!!

I wanted it to fit in with the saturated canary challenge blogs easy as 1,2,3 challenge too so there is 1 winnie, 2 dp's- yummo patterned paper....memory makers or american crafts I think.. and blue bazzil on a kraft card base and 3 embellies- 1 gorgeous key charm and 2 homemade flowers!!

The little sentiment is an LOTV stamp from the clear verses sheet, I love it.

I am trying to be really good and follow a 3 colour rule when making my cards at the minute!! its just to challenge myself but I am quite liking the way they are turning out!!! I am also very much liking my photo's of my makes at the moment. I have had an awesome tutor! she is my gorgeous and lovely Pops and has been an absolute star telling me how to sort them out, love yah ooodles Pops xxxxx I have a long way to go to get them as good as hers but I will get there eventually!!!

So what are you all up to today? I am off to work in a couple of hours but for now I am snuggled up next to Mo on the settee with my cuppa and pooter. I love the dark mornings for these snuggling opportunities!!! we stay in our pj's until 30 mins before school and I love it. Mo loves an easy, nothing to make him feel panicky morning and its really lovely starting the day with snuggles, they make me feel all warm inside. I love that when I come home late on a thursday and friday Mo shouts "mummy" as soon as he hears me in the door and comes running from wherever he is for a cuddle, I am so thankful for that.
Have a super day peeps!!

Monochromatic yet colourful....

Morning peeps!!
I have had this wedding card order sitting on my desk for a couple of weeks now. It was on a post it note (...I have the bestest order forms you know!!!!) and I have been waiting for the man who ordered it to get back to me with a colourscheme. I still hadn't heard anything yesterday so I went with a gold and white mono theme.

Out came the vellum. Yup I know its a monkey to stick but I have a creatopia so no problems there!! you just cut what you want, run it through the creatopia and it sticks down beautifully with no adhesive showing through at all!! I love it!!! The flowers are stuck on with glossy accents.
The little seedy gems were stuck in using glossy accents too. I love those super teeny ones along the punched edge, and the gold and glittery vellum went through my SU boho flower punch like a dream. The teeny flowers and leaf fronds are papermania and the bigger frond is martha of course!!! You can just about see the blingy brilliance on this piccy on the brides dress, I dabbed some glossy accents over those too just to make them pop.

Mum rang last night to give me some more details and phew!! the invite has gold on it so yey Lou !!!

I am entering this little cutie in a few challenges....
whimsy challenge-monochromatic
Papertake weekly- Anything goes plus added bling if you fancy!!  - added bling in my little flowers and versamark brilliance to paint with on her dress and flowers.
Truly scrumptious challenges-Bingo - I have used gems, flowers and die cuts.

The cute little tags are my SU jewellery tag punch, I love it. I printed the names and date onto my vellum then punched them out and sewed them to the bow.

So I think thats me for today!! I have the inside of this card to finish off and then on with a baby card and a grandad card, phew!! me busy!!! not too bad though as Mo slept in until 6am and I have a packet of party rings to nibble with my cuppa!!! yey!!!

Huge hugs

Tiddly Inks Challenge 71- Anything Goes!!

papers from the Yummy Paper Set

Morning peeps!!!!

Its that Tiddly time of week again and its the start of november too!! (my where is this year off to??!!!!) and with you all in full flow christmas creating, the chief of Tiddliness has declared an Anything Goes month!!

So over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog our challenge this week is anything you fancy making with a Tiddly Inks image!!

I chose the gorjuss Lilli Claire warm wishes, she is such a dream to play around with. I merged her in png format with the christmassy paper in the yummy paper set.
Once that was printed I coloured her up all christmassy with my promarkers, I used some woodware fluffy stuff for her fluffy bits!!!!

Then I added some glittery white heat embossing to the edges...which of course were zapped through my distrezz it all first (....Lou wonders how on earth she managed without this gorgeous little pink machine!!!) I love how it came out!

So what will you create for the challenge??? if you need some inspiration go here to the challenge blog and see what my super talented Tiddly Inking friends have been making before you start.

And there's a new girl in the shop too, she is way too cute and I love her big yummy cake......
If you click on her, you will be taken right to where she is in the shop!!

Off to work for me this morning so I had better get myself into gear really!! I am still excited after a fab couple of hours of spookiness and fun for halloween last night. Here we are.......
From left to right its- Scott, me, Little Mo, Jake and Lily.
(mmmmmm sneaky big sis got out of the photo by taking it....!)

We had oodles of fun and it was so warm we were all able to go out exactly as we were dressed in this piccy which was fab as Little Mo didn't want to cover up his ghostiness!! ( he had his thermal long sleeve vest and tights on under his mummy made ghosty suit!! snuggly warm!!)

Have an awesome day!! Huge hugs Lou xxxx
