Summer wedding baby style!!!

Afternoon peeps!!
Its that time of month again for the funkette's to do our 'Forgotten Funkies' showcase!!!
Today's showcase is centered all around the gorgeously funky and zingy 'Summer Wedding' download. Just look at these stunning papers, they really pack a summery punch and the matching alpha's are just gorgeous..... so they are most definitely too good to be forgotten!!!

Summer Wedding

I don't mind sharing with you all that this card nearly didn't get made. I lost my funk with some going's on yesterday but after a day with my gorgeous babies I felt crafty again and decided to go baby with my make! I got this super cute little baby dresser step card from the Silhouette store a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't resist using it with these papers, they were just right for a little bit of cuteness!!

Don't forget to pop in on my gorgeous funkette teamie's over on the Get Funky and Craft blog!

And the reason for getting my happy back....these them to bits...

aren't they gorgeous...though I may be biased of course.... ;)

Dancing with stars Tilda for Divas by Design......

Stamp- Dancing with stars Tilda.
Browns- Burnt sienna, caramel and sandstone.
pinks- Burnt orange, coral, sunkissed pink and blush.
Blues- Midnight blue, denim blue, pastel blue, cool aqua.
Tonne of blender pen!!
Morning all!!

well this little make for the new Divas by Design challenge today nearly didn't make it!! yesterday was a bit of a doozey for me as while trying to help someone else out with an image of hers that had been stolen, the very same thing had happened to me :( ....and several..not 1 or 2 ...but several of my Tiddly Inkers teamies. The person who did it had even left parts of our watermarks on the images she had stolen...grrrrrr. And I only stumbled upon this lady by trying to help someone else out! ack!! So last night I was sad :( it took me until 9pm and a tonne of kind words and messages from friends to cheer me up and I finally felt a squidge crafty again so along came my creation for the new challenge, which is a totally rocking one.....
Use any Magnolia stamp!
ooooooooooh perfection!!!!!
we are sponsored by Magnalicious this week too!!

I absolutely adore my magnolia stamps. I do not have nearly as many as I neeeeeeeeeeeed! romfl! but to me they are just magical. I don't know what it is about them but I just love them! my first stamp I ever bought was a magnolia stamp and I told myself I couldn't buy one until I had learnt how to't laugh...this was the first magnolia stamp I bought and coloured all those years ago!! oh dear...can't believe I am sharing this...all the way from 2009 when I first started colouring using whisper pens!!!
te he he he!!

Anyways, today I am feeling better about the whole images stolen thing. There were enough of us cross for the lady to remove our work from both her facebook crafting page and her personal page too so thats all done and dusted. I am always surprised by how icky some crafty people are so don't forget peeps, watermark up! put your watermark right over the focal point of your card, so if its a stamp, splodge that watermark over the stamped image!!

Oh and while I am on my high horse, just pop into your pinterest boards and delete every uncoloured/ unwatermarked image you may of pinned from an artist to colour up...thats just wrong too. If you want it, go buy it from their shop.

Huge hugs and squishes

Pearls and Pins!
Please remember you can enter using any type of creation, it doesn't have to be a card.  Don’t forget, as always, to be eligible for our prize draw you must use your Letraset products (i.e. promarkers, flex markers, aqua markers, tria markers, metallic markers or neon markers).

We are sponsored this week by – A Day For Daisies – who are generously offering one lucky winner a $12.00 gift card to spend in their online store.

I used the super adorable LOTV stamp, Blossom. I absolutely love her! I coloured her up and then nestied her out!!

Pearls was easy, splodged some self adhesive ones from my stash on and then......pins....(...pins?!!! omg...small scream from Lou..never use them...luckily saved from argghhhhhness by the gorgeous Tracy at Dies to Die for and her inkido heart pins stock..phew!!!!!) you can just see it nestled into the little fir cones and flower splodge in the bottom left of the card. I glued some teeny beads to the sharp end of it to hide the ouchy bit!! daft Lou.....!!!!!

Right, I am off to try and make orange curd now to make some jaffa cake inspired choccy cupcakes for Mo and Scott! could turn out badly but its worth a go!!!!

Tiddly Inks challenge 134......Pastels...

Image- Bathing Beauty from Tiddly Inks.
Morning peeps!!
Its time for a new challenge over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and this week its....

( so think pastel colours on your papers and tiddlies!!)

I went CAS and made a card for a dear friend who is having a squidge of a tough time at the moment :( she always calls me her lifesaver so I had to squeesh that sentiment in there somehow!! he he he!!!

I printed Bathing Beauty straight onto my card blank and then gave her a good old colour on some pastels blues and yellows along with her pinky skin tones. I love how it came out. Sometimes a little bit of simples says it just perfectly without all the Lou froo-froo!!

I'll be back in a little while with my Passion for Promarkers new challenge make!

A wedding explosion......

Papers- DCWV Nana's nursery 12x12 boy stack.
Evening peeps!!

I have been pootling along making a little wedding exploding box this weekend! There are lots of piccies for this one but it was quite tricky as I am a pants photo taker!!!

Its just beautiful! Inside all the little pockets are some cards that I printed some lovely wedding quotes on. Its quite big but oh did I love making it!! it just fits a 12x12 piece of cardstock for the final layer of box in the piccy below.Less Lou waffles...more piccies!!!...

This is how the box looks all closed up. I didn't want to overdo the top so just popped the name of the couple and the date on with some nesty squares and a couple of precious hearts.
..and this is how it goes when you take the lid off! sooo cute!!! the little hearts stems are made with soft acetate and I glued the hearts and dunked them in glamour dust, they just float and sparkle! I strengthened where they adhere to the box with some teeny punched flowers, the smaller size precious hearts die cuts went on this layer too.
Please excuse the classy yellow elastic band!! My hands are too chunky to hold this together for a piccy!!! the bigger size precious hearts die cuts went on this layer.
Some punched martha stewart scalloped hearts went on this layer, with some La La Land hearts banners popping onto the last layer.

And thats me for today!!!! The little guy had oodles of fun playing outside with his little buddies this afternoon.  am very lucky because they all take his repetition, funny ways and loudness in their stride and play like most children play despite Mo having to run in to us quite a lot when he is worried about something!! ( he finds it hard to play but loves to try so hard bless him, but needs a lot of reassurance from the sidelines on things people say/do that make him worry!!) He was out like a light in our bed tonight...and did the hugest fart just as I was taking this picture!!!!! it was sooo funny! He was fast asleep!!!
Thank you for popping in on me!

Flutterby to say Hi...

Hi everyone!!!

I am on a bit of a go slow today!! I have had this blog post in draft for 2 days!! Lazy Lou!! but I am getting my butt into gear now and getting it posted because its fab friday for the Tiddly Inkers and I want to play along with the ooooh so cute challenge over on the papertake weekly challenge blog :) :)

This is one of my absolute fav Tiddly Inks stamps ever, she really is just so cute! and I just had to have another go at the light colouring and blender pen with my promarkers again, I am loving the effect you get from it.

I was also in one of those ooooh I never use that colour moods so whipped out the darker blue mulberry paper and of course my Die- Namics Blueprints!! you can so never get enough of those!! a good old 'pow' of magnolia papers and I was happy!!!

This little cutie will be winging her way out to australia for Scott's Grandma's 90th birthday in a couple of weeks...need to make a card box for it or my little butterfly is going to get squishened on the way!!!

Right off to eat peanut butter and choccy fudge and count down the time until we go fetch Mo! half term starts at 3:30pm and I just cannot wait. I absolutely LOVE having my little guy at home with me.

Huge hugs Lou xxxx

Full of beans....

Hi everyone!!!

I checked with Da Boss because I wanted to share one of the fabulous new releases coming up soon.

This on is another fabby coffee cup to add to the I'm a mug for you coffee cup digital stamps over on the shop. I love theses cups! they are just fab. I made the base for this card with my silhouette software and then coloured the stamp up with my promarkers.

The DT have had their hands on these for a long time now but you will have to wait just a squeeeeeze longer...but hey..if you beg Anice enough they might come quicker :) :)

Little Mo is home with me today because he is not so full of beans!!! he has the cutest croaky little voice and snotty nose! I am not sure if it is hayfever or a cold but he is also soooo white and icky looking I thought I would keep him home for a rest day. We have managed a little stroll around the block but that left him pooped out so maybe thats enough for today!!

I forgot to share his haircut piccy over here though!! I must admit to mass sobbing when his lovely long locks came off but he does look so handsome and grown up!! here he is looking cool on his electric motorbike!!

Thank you for popping in,

Phewsh!!! thats a lot of really cool prizes!!!!

so for my make I just had to get colouring with one of my new stamps from the new fairy range. I am super lucky as my Aunty gave me some pennies to take with me on the open day so I could get some bits and I bought the whole 10 new gorgeous fairies, I just love them. I coloured up Midsummer night for this one. I am being brave and popping her over on the Fairies challenge over on the LOTV idea's to inspire blog too! go me!!

I chose some really midsummer nights dreamy type papers so that I could get that early evening feel to my card, I wanted magical for a magical celebration!!! I stamped her up and cut her out with my floral oval nestie,I snipped around the edge of the stitching and then stitched pink and silver metallic thread through the little holes by hand.

I wanted her to look watercoloury so I used a few lines of colour from my promarkers and a whole tonne of my blender pen and I LOVE how she came out!!

Then it was a case of layer up and fru fru Lou style!!! I added a squidge of personal impressions puff white to the edges of my swirly heart branch just to make it umpfy!!! and a couple of pearly stamens...which are kinda tricky to see in the photo!! but it all looks so sweet together!!! and it has some sparkly glitz which doesn't show up too well either but looks cute!!!

Thank you for popping in on me!

What's Cooking?......................

Stamp- What's cooking?
Papers- Daisy Bucket Perfect Harmony- Callie.
Stamped with Memento Tuxedo black ink.
Coloured with promarkers.
edges of paper inked with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink pad.

Good morning everyone!

I hope you have all had lovely weekends. I had some crafty time making a little box for my niece's birthday. My brother and sister and I have a £5 gift rule for the children in our family as we are all a little short on pennies.

Harriet loves making cupcakes so I decided to make a little box we can pop £5 and some cake sprinkles in little plastic bags into.

The box itself is from the Silhouette store so if you have a silhouette machine, you can find it HERE

And one of my all time favourite Mo Manning by Stamping Bella stamps, Whats Cooking? was just absolutely posatootly perfect for this job!! I stamped her out 3 times, once on my colouring paper and then once on either side of the paper I had left over from making the box. I stamped her on each side so I could have a different colour dress and apron. These Daisy Bucket papers are just fantastic, they are so pretty and they cut perfectly on my cameo machine, its always sooo good to find a paper that will cut great on your machines!!! I gave the edges a gentle inking with my Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink pad.

She really is just the cutest!! I didn't use her little sentiment as I had already worked on cutting Harriet's name to go along the curved line of the box in my Silhouette software.

Right, well I am still at work just now and will be doing a tonne of sleeping when I get back from the school run so I will pop in on you all later!!!

Tiddly Inks challenge 133...Head in the clouds....

 Stamp- Ellie says Bye.
Morning everyone!!
Its time for a new challenge over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and this week its a theme of.......
head in the clouds!
so all you need to do is grab your fav Tiddly Inks image or stamp
and think clouds in your creation!

I just had to go with the Ellie says Bye clear stamp set, well, balloons are perfect for getting you in the clouds right?!!! I also decided to go smashy on this one as I just got stumped and a smash page is fabulous for those stumped days because you can just splodge stuff on and it unfuzzles your head!!

Here's a closer piccy. I love doing smash pages but I suck at the taking pictures of them part!!!
The journalling I did in word being as my handwriting is pretty sucky too!! I do spend a lot of time with my head way up there in the clouds and I don't think thats a bad thing sometimes. Positivity makes you float so much higher than all the bad stuff so I don't mind being up there at all!!!
Here's a better piccy of my journalling...
I had some cloud washy tape too so had to splodge that in there somewhere!

Right, off to get on with my day!! thank you for popping in on me

Wryn -Sunny Day....

Morning everyone!!

Its time for a fabulous friday over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and I just couldn't help but colour up this super super new cutie from Christy,Wryn Sunny Day, she is just so sweet. I merged all the stamps you get in the pack together to make a little scene and loved colouring her up, she is such a fun and cheery little thing you end up smiling the whole way through your colouring!!

I had treated myself to some little giftbags so I popped some delicious Daisy Bucket paper on it and then popped her on over the top, only adding a little twine bow and a tag to it.

For my next card I placed my ' I can do CAS' head on!! he he he he!! and I merged 2 of the images from the pack together!! I made her all teeny so she can 'Grow a little love' !! go Lou!!!

So, what are your plans today? I have some furry peeps to walk and then my gorgeous big sis is coming for a bit whilst her partner sorts out the mess that the estate agents are making of letting/selling her house. Her current tenant has absolutely trashed the beautiful little terraced house and then the estate agents took photos of it in its trashed state and put them on its selling page!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!! it breaks Sam's heart to see the house in that state ( plus it is full of poo memories for her!) so she is coming to me :)

Have a wonderful day everyone!

You have me hearty!!.......

Image- Tammi Buccaneer from Saturated Canary
( this image is only available as a freebie from our Facebook group.)

Morning peeps!!!

I hope you are all having a good week! My wrist has been fully rested for 2 days now and it is sore and stiff but I am sure it will get better today once I try to use it some more. I am really looking forward to walking my little pawsy peeps today and have mum's new little lady to go see today too as mum is at the hospital.

So whilst mooching on monday about my sore wrist I popped my Tammi Buccaneer card together. She is a digi only available in our Facebook group ( the link is under the picture) and I just love her!

I even made a little sentiment to go with her because she will be for Scott for our anniversary card in august! go me so organised!! he he he!! oh if only I was a cute pirate girl that would make his day completely!!!!!!

Well, thats me for today. I have to sort out a few little bits to put away as we found an uber bargain yesterday!! we won a solid oak 200cm long table on ebay for £36.53!! omgosh!! you would not believe how excited I was! we had sent the man a message asking how much he wanted for it for a buy it now and he replied £250, so we said thank you but we would bid because we only had £50 saved up and when we won it I just couldn't believe it!!!!! so a super happy me sat at one end yesterday and Scott sat at the other as he was working from home! its just gorgoeus!!!

sooooooo cool!!!! I get excited about the daftest things!

thank you for popping in on me

Passion for promarkers challenge 246...yummy food and drink...

Image- Cupcake Thief from Mo Manning.
Browns- Burnt sienna, caramel and sandstone.
pinks- Burnt orange, coral, sunkissed pink and blush.
Greys- Warm Grey 1-5.
Morning everyone!

I am so sorry I am on a go slow today because its a case of 1 finger typing after being my normal dopey Lou self and damaging the soft tissues in my wrist..though I should be very grateful as the Dr in A&E was amazed it wasn't broken with all the swelling there was! so I escaped a cast and have to completely rest it for 2 days with ice packs (..ok so am cheating there and applying kool strips instead as I don't do the whole wet and cold thing....!!) so no driving, furry peeps walking or lifting with it allowed, just little rolls and movements to stop stiffness and a lovely cocktail of paracetemol and ibuprofen every 4 hours!! I must add however that its not all bad as gorgeous hubby is working from home for the 2 days  I have to rest it!!

Its time for a new challenge over on the Passion for Promarkers challenge blog and this week’s challenge which has been set by our gorgeous Lou and she has set us a delicous theme of..

yummy food and drink

so,think all your images including some form of food or drink.  Don’t forget, as always, to be eligible for our prize draw you must use your Letraset products (i.e. promarkers, flex markers, aqua markers, tria markers, metallic markers or neon markers).

Our fabby sponsor this week is Whiff of Joy stamps and they are offering one lucky winner 1 stamp of their choice (which must be in stock).
whiff of joy
I just had to use Cupcake Thief. I adore her and she has the yummiest looking cakes I have ever seen!!! she is just fab for birthdays so I coloured her up and cut around her to pop her in this little pop up box scene...
Thank you for popping in on me!
