Unicorns and rainbows..............

Stamps- Mama Elephant Unicorns and Rainbows.
Lawn Fawn Violet's ABC's.
Morning peeps!

I'm popping in today with a fun little make!! and what's more scrummy than those gorgeous Mama Elephant Unicorns and Rainbows ? I love them!!! I am seriously addicted to stamps with co-ordinating dies at the minute but this set actually belongs to my little Mo, he was a superstar letting me borrow them yesterday!!

This is a make for one of my BF's little girls.Countdown to fun times!! being little and excited is sooo hard to make timescales understood sometimes!!

I stamped the number of days around the scene made with delicious Carta Bella Cool Summer papers and also onto the backs of the little die cut bits so that each day she can cover up a 'sleep' to help her count them down. I made a little blue tac heart for her to take a little bit off each day and then add the co-ordinating die cut piece to the scene. I had maybe a bit too much fun making this!! he he!!!

Aren't they cute?!! I am seeing lots more of this kinda thing in my future! Mo would love a dino themed one!!!

Thank you for popping in

Big Guy Grilling......

Papers- All Fired Up from Nitwits.
Hi everyone!!

I'm in (errrrrr...totally late because Mo and I have been having some Mo and Mummy chill time...ooops!!!) with a post for you today using that gorgeous Big Guy Grilling. This image is just perfect for summer fun and birthdays but this one is for my step dad who loves to BBQ.

He has just built himself a fabulous new pizza oven too so I guess I'll have to get Maurie busy on a big guy pizza-ing!! he he!

I do just absolutely love man cards though. They are such a fun challenge to make yourself stop adding glitter and flowers and just have fun with some different papers and layers. So much fun.

Right, I need to scoot! I have a little guy who could do with a scoot around the block on his fliker scooter thingy!! oh I do so love the holidays. Time with my mini man is so special to me. The dogs are fast asleep and the washing still has an hour to go so its the perfect time for some fresh air.

Have a Dino-Mite birthday!.........

Papers- MFT Trail Mix.
Hi everyone!

I'm in with a Rawr-some post for you today with another make using those uber sweet new dinosaur stamps from MFT. I just cannot resist those cute dino's and scrumptious Trail mix paper pad combo's, they are just made for each other.

Last night little Mo and I went out to his friends for tea. Mo adores his little band of buddies and he has the best bunch of year 6 buddies ever. The 7 of them have helped and supported him so much through the last 3 years and I owe those little people a debt of so much gratitude. Mo had great big tears at bedtime last night after a wonderful get together pizza party for them, arranged by one of them, because he will miss them so very much.

They had a fabulous year 6 water fight at the end of the school day too so it really was a fantastic day for him and the enormity of reality that he won't have that, along with heat and tiredness just made him sob, poor pickle.

Today it is their year 6 leavers assembly and I have not really managed to get any snippets out of Mo what it will be like because it is a closely guarded secret! though I did find a song sheet in his bag when I was putting his water fight clothes in and if that is anything to go by, I will need a duvet sized tissue to get me through the assembly!!

So, so much to be thankful for and so, so much to miss.

Thank you for popping in

Tiddly Inkc challenge #187...Summer Sun!

It's time for another fun challenge over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog and this time the Tiddly Inkers have decided to call in the summer!!! yes! summer it's time we dragged you into our makes!! so this time its...

Summer Sun!!

So think sunshine, summer fun, summer images, summer feeling!!

(**remember...We love to see any new creation, a card, 3D project, journal page etc
but you must use a Tiddly Inks stamp or image **)

So I decided there's nothing more summery than a super cute little mermaid and her little fishy buddies right?! I am so in love with these little mermaids, they just make me feel all warm inside.

I was still in a bit of a dimensional card kinda mood when I made this. I do love cards that stand out a bit so went for a simple stepper card for this one. The little mermaid part actually stands proud on the front step away from the background. Sh'e s just so sweet.
Right. Time for me to get a wriggle on!

Have a wonderful day everyone,
huge hugs Lou xxx

Bring on Summer!!.......

Image- Bring on Summer.
Papers- Echo Park A pirates Life.
Enamel dots- MME Milo 'inspired'.
Morning everyone!

How are you all today? I am stealing myself for the year 6 church leavers service today. Yup, that week I have been dreading for so long has crept in and the first leavers service happens today. Mo is so excited about it because he loves being in church but I know I am going to fold because I have already several times this weekend!!!

But, pulling up the big girl pants on and I was inspired by his year 6 waterfight coming up on tuesday at school so I just had to colour up Bring on Summer for my Dream Team make today. Isn't he just the cutest little guy with that tooth popped out space and that big ring? I adore him!

Right. I am off to have a cuppa (...have considered adding whisky to settle my mummy tummy!!!) and stuff my pocket full of tissues ready to watch my gorgeous little year 6 man get his blessing and bible in church, wish me luck peeps! this week is going to be a toughy! I am not ready to let go of the safe home from home my little guy has for school one little bit.

Thank you for popping in

Molly Floats.......

Image- Molly Floats.
Papers- MME Be Amazing.

Morning everyone!

Its Fab Friday over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and as usual those amazing Tiddly Inkers have made some stunners this week to inspire you all.

I was in a slightly experimental mood after sorting through some of my older Blue Prints dies. This one I haven't really ever used and it is so wonderful. Its little elements all work so beautifully together so to be honest I didn't really have to do much other than have some Tiddly colouring fun with my little Molly Floats.

She is just the sweetest little character. Her little dress is actually all sparkly but in true Lou fashion, I can't get a photo of it!! lol!! I love sparkle but the elusive sparkle catching photo is just beyond me!!!!

Right, I must dasheroo! we've been out having some pokemon go catching fun with little Mo, he was so excited to catch some this morning. He has likened it to his geocaching. I swear that boy is never happier than when he is walking around and 'treasure' hunting!! and lets face it, exercise is always good!!

Huge hugs for all

You're Rawr-some..........

Papers- MFT Trail Mix.
Hi everyone!

I'm in with my Dies To Die For make for today, it's a Rawr-some post using those uber sweet new dinosaur stamps from MFT.

Any one who knows my little Mo will know that he loves Harry Potter and Dinosaurs. He has been looking for a good dinosaur stamp set for soooo long, but nothing took his fancy...until.....The You're Rawr-some stamp set came along!! it is just cram packed full of fab sentiments, dino's and scenery to make a whole card from one scrummy theme. Ooooooh I love them so much too!!! what mummy could resist??

In our house....of course...! we had to get the matching You're Rawr-some Die Namics set too. I just love the rounded and finished edge you get from using the die to cut out the bits rather than your scissors or cutting machine. It's such a nicer finish to the stamp to use those dies too.

I am an emotional puddle at the minute! Little Mo and his class mates did such an amazing job of their play and we are ever faster creeping up to the end of his time at his primary school. Oh my, I am not going to make this last couple of weeks without bountiful amounts of crying. Last night was the first wave with a beautiful video of Mo's class made by his super duper class mate who rocks video stuff so amazingly. So, my next purchase for this week is going to be a large hoodie, tissues and sunglasses for the next weeks year 6 leavers assemblies!!

Image- One.
Hi everyone!

This weekend saw the release of these 4 absolute cuties!! oh my!! I couldn't resist using one, just look how cute they are....

I even stepped out of my safe colour combo zone for this little baby so I could match her up to the papers I had chosen. Well, sometimes you have just got to walk on the wildside of the promarker right?! he he!!

I am so excited today because it's my Little Mo's class play and he is a fairy godmother. I can't wait to see it because he has been singing the 'secret songs' in the bath for a few weeks now and practising the 'secret words' in his bedroom!! he is so cute!!!

TGF mini remix brewtiful.......

Sentiment- Lou computer generated!
Hi everyone!

I'm sneaking in with my Dies to Die For make because I totally forgot to schedule it up for yesterday and just realized its not there....derrrrrrrr Lou!!!! but it's too cute to leave until next week so I'm sneaking it on today!

I am enjoying the min remix sets from TGF sooo much, they are just sized so perfectly for smaller card bases and you can really dress them up with some fun die cuts. They are just soooo cute!!!!!

I am still on major teacher appreciation mode makes so I made myself a sentiment on my computer to go with this one and then cut it out using the little flagstix die in the Blue Prints 28 set(You can imagine the die set mess my table is in right now can't you!! he he!!!).

Right, I need to get a wiggle on. I am going out for a grown up cup of tea with one of my oldest friends for a quick catch up before the school run today and I need to hoover round home first before I get lost in the jungle of malting pooches hair we have going on here!! it's like tumble weeds!!he he!!

Dark Waters....

Image- Amy and her mini mermaid friends from Tiddly Inks.

Morning everyone!

Its Fab Friday over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog so the Tiddly Inkers are sharing their makes from this week. I just couldn't resist those scrumptiously cute little mermaids and I have some friends going through some really tough times right now. Its breaks my heart to see them struggling and I really had them on my mind as I was creating away on wednesday to make this card.

Sad times, grief, depression and stress are all such awful things for people to muddle their way through and I so wish I could magically make it better in some way but I don't know how other than to make people smile even if it's just or a minute or a few seconds.

I made the sentiment myself in word because I couldn't find any stamp in my draws that said what I wanted it to say at all.

Have you seen the mermaid cuteness that is Amy and her mini mermaid friends ? oh my! you so need to if you haven't! click on the piccies to be bubbaliciously pinged to the store where they are waiting for you!!
Aren't they just the best??!!!
Right , stuff to do so need to get my butt into gear!!
Huge hugs for you all
