Afternoon Peeps!!!

Its time for a new challenge over on the Saturated Canary Challenge blog and this week its a super fun one its .......

Black, white and one other

I just had to SMASH and I felt the need for a squidge of pink too!!!! :) I found a yummy pink page in my equally yummy pink SMASH!!! and then I got to playing with the image that will be released real soon :) 'Chasing Butterflies'.

She's just beautiful isn't she and she was just perfect for some of the thoughts that I had written in my prayer journal a couple of weeks ago.

My friend Kerry bought me a little journal for writing my prayers in whilst I was doing my ALPHA course so I can look back on them from time to time. I love it and it helps me to focus when I am struggling with prayer too (...I am hoping that I am not the only person who worries that their prayers seem to womble to the wrong track of thoughts sometimes...) I actually knew this image was totally perfect for these words and my thoughts.

and here's a little bit closer in on the super cute chick!!! she has a gentle bit of bling in her funky hair and on her skirt!!

The ribbon I used on this page is the ribbon that my gorgeous pink smash came tied up with when it arrived as a beautiful surprise from my beautiful friend :)

I must say sorry though for my photographs of this page, I suck at taking photo's of my smash pages!!

Right I am at work right now...LOVE scheduled posting :) so while I am at work please go drool over my awesome canary teamies creations over on the challenge blog...they put me to shame every challenge!!! they are just awesome!!

Morning Peeps!!

as you know, 2 of my fav ladies in the whole wide world are rocking out this week with their new stamps and I am just over the moon excited for both of them and I know they will both do awesome as they are the most awesome stamps! and I have to say I feel so super duper honoured to be on the DT of each of them, I am so blessed to have such awesomely talented crafty girl peeps as treasured friends :)

This first make is from Krista's new Saturated Canary stamps, they are all awesome and if you need a catalogue to go peeky at to see more there is one right here from over on the Little Darlings site, squeeeeee there are some of my cards in it!! squeeeeee!!! and if you are here in the UK like me...don't worry! I have heard they will be winging their way to stockists here too..so form an orderly line and no pushing....mwah ha ha ha!!!!!!!

and a new Tiddly Stamp too of course!!! this make is from this 'Cute as a Bug' set!! love it!!

 Isn't she just awesome zooming off in her bug? I love the hearts smoke and the sentiment is just too cute! I cannot tell you how much fun it is to stamp a Tiddly!!!


So now on to my little guy and more totally proud mummy moments!!! 


I love this little guy, he rocks so much because he always loves to make a gift rather than buy one and he always knows just what he wants to make! and he is nifty with copy and paste on the pooter too!!(...yeah...he scored a good score on his report for ICT!! he got excellent with a level of 3!!)  this little guy made his own awesome backing paper for his make!! too cute!! here he is all busy...

Huge thanks to Bev too for telling me about collal multipurpose glue, its fabulous!! Mo used it for all of his project! I was lucky enough to find some in my local garden centre when I took mum out for lunch on tuesday. And this is what he made....

Squeeeee its sooo adorable. He scrunched up his paper and inked it, then splodged it on the canvas, rubbed round the edge (...with mummy's nail file...gulp!!!) stuck the blue flowers on the heart shape ( blue is his favourite colour) and mummy bought an easel for it!! I think little peep made gifts are the bestest ones in the whole wide world! I always take piccies of him making his gifts because I print the picture out small and attach it to the back of what he has made. His little photo is nestled into the back of this mini canvas.


Ok, I'll be back with a scheduled post later this afternoon because its challenge time again over on the Saturated Canary Challenge blog!!! off for a cuppa and snuggle time with mo before we have to get ready for school and work.
