Image- Rainy Days georgie, coming soon to Funky Hand.
Papers- Rainbow polka dots from Funky Hand.
Morning everyone!!

Its time for a new challenge over on the Divas by Design challenge blog and this week its...

April Showers!!
so think rain and brollies!!
and we are sponsored by none other than the awesome..
I was in a card with 'pop' mood so I went for the fabulous Cheery Lynn step card die, its fabulous because it cuts and scores everything you need to do the card, including the matting!

I printed georgie out and gave her a splodge of colour with my promarkers and then popped her on the card, adding some Die-namics Grassy edges over her feet to make a little scene.

Right, I have to get myself moving! I have a furball princess sat at my feet who wants her meat and a little man sat watching Lord of the Rings who should maybe be getting ready for school instead...!! he he he he!!!!

Valentine Moments for an anniversary...

Paper- Prima Princess.
coloured with promarkers.
Morning everyone!!!
oooh I thought that list of dies in the links up there was never going to end!! romfl!!!!! its a lot of fun with dies this card!

I had an anniversary card to make for my mum and dad so it was time to get my lovey dovey smoosh on!!!!

I was trying something new for me with this one, using lots of white. I keep drooling over my friend Nic's cards when she does it, they are just amazing so I thought I would have a go too!

The scalloped oval dies were just the right size to make a big rocker style card so rthats what I went for! i have never used them before so there was quite a bit of errrrrr, what shall I do with those before i got started but then after cutting the card base out therest of the card just rolled out! I love the way it layers up so beautifully with the white and just a splash of colour.

Then I added a few more die cuts and wohooo! it was done!!

Thank you for popping in

Afternoon peeps!
I am late popping in today with a couple of pages that I made digitally! I have a digi layout up above and also my digi project life page below.

I used the super gorgeous new Memories in Sepia download from Funky Hand to do them, its just gorgeous..

Memories In Sepiea downloadable backing papers
I do love to have a good old digital play around because it is so easy and satisfying. it is often way too easy to forget that you can use digital papers in this way and print them out for making cards with!!!

This set of papers was just perfect for the only holiday Scott and I have ever had along without little peeps or furry peeps!! we had 2 days in paris and it was wonderful, we did so much walking I thought my feet might drop off but I so enjoyed every single minute!

Right, got to go, I need to slice some chicken for tea, stir fry tonight, yum!!

Poppy Pixie.....

Image- Poppy Pixie from Tiddly Inks.

Morning everyone!!

I thought I would share another super cute image from Christy Croll's new release in the Tiddly Inks shop this week! I am just so in love with them!!

I decided to go for a little 3D project again and make a little treat box with an easel card attached. I love a little bit of pop!

Here it is all opened up...
I added a little flower to the front of the draw and popped the twine through it to make a drawer pull. I can't wait to pop something in there for someone! its so sweet.

This is what it looks like closed. It refused to squish down without a finger prod for me to take a picture!! lol!!!

Right, I am off for a cuppa and quick clean up of my table before the school run!

Thank you for popping in

Little Fawn.....

Image- Little Fawn.
Morning everyone!!

I hope you are all well and having a wonderful week. I decided to colour up my gorgeous Little Fawn from Saturated Canary yesterday. I was a bit excited about her because she is just so whimsical, I love those little twiggy antlers.

I decided to go kinda mossy with her hair as I decided she was a child of nature!! she actually has a bit of sparkle....
Isn''t she just the cutest?! I made some dotty evening cloudy sky. I really like that! it was a bit of an experiment but I LOVE how it turned out.

So I can't be the only mamma who is missing their mini peep this week now school is back in action?!! I have been kind of wombling around the house (trying to restore order under the piles of half term toys left around...like  everywhere!!!!) but the sad truth is I just LOVE having holiday time with my little guy. He rocks my world! but do you know what the best thing is?! he actually wants to go back to school now! daft as it sounds that is just so amazingly special for a mummy who has had so many years of sobbing and desperation from him not to go at the old school. I feel like I am in an uber calm bubble with his schooling now he is so happy at the school he has been at since november, its just wonderful!!

Right, time to feed my furball princess! she is kinda staring at me from where she is sat next to me because she knows its breakfast time!!!

I used some EXTREMELY stroke only papers for this one!! aren't they just beautiful?! and for a little bit of magical umpf I added some little beads to some of the flowers. It was fiddly but they look soooo pretty. I attached them with glossy accents and then splodged a little glossy accents over the top for good measure!!!

Sassitude.....

Coloured by Promarkers.

Happy Bank Holiday monday peeps!!!

I have been super practicing my CAS cards and I have this little cutie to share with you all today!!

Now if you are a lover of CAS the Die- Namics Blueprints range from MFT are just the best for helping you on your way to quick and easy CAS cards. The dies just do it all for you, I absolutely love them. All I needed to do was arm myself with a stamp, promarkers, yummy papers and glue and go for it!!

Sassitude is just adorable! I layered up her skirt by stamping it a couple of times on the papers I was using and then paper pieced her up. Her little sentiment is so cute too, she has a selection of sentiments but this one was Mo's pick! I love it when he helps me choose bits to use!!

We had a lovely easter day yesterday. Mo loved his little hunt from the easter bunny! this is the note the easter bunny left for him....
and here's some little bunny tails....
he he he he!!! Mo loved it!! and all the tails were found in no time, phew!!! great news for the little baby bunnies!!!

Right, got to go, family time and brekkie making is waiting for me!!!

Mini rolled roses...they're not just for paper!!!

Felt- Red.
Ribbon- Green Polka Trim.
Hi everyone!!
I am just stepping in for our gorgeous Jane, who is poorly with a really sore back, sending huge but gentle hugs your way hunny xx, over on the DTDF inspiration blog today.

So I was in a play mood with my  Die- Namics  Mini rolled roses this morning. They are just gorgeous and with the red felt they make the cutest little roses. And the felt from the shop washes so well. I made my little Mo a pocket for his t-shirt last year and it has been worn and washed so many times and still looks fabulous!!

So I stole a few baby grows from my friend who has just had twins! he he he! and then got to playing. I cut my roses and then rolled them up and stitched them closed with some red sewing thread. Then I made some little bows with my Green Polka Trim and sewed each rose onto each bow.

Then I sewed one little bow and rose onto each little footsie on the babygrow. Awwwwwwwwwww so cute!! I love it! here's a little close up.....
Thank you for popping in!

Divas by Design challenge ..Bundle of joy...

I'm back peeps!!

Its time for a new challenge over on the Divas by design challenge blog and this week its a theme...

Bundle of Joy
so think babies and cuteness!!

I was so ready to chill out and colour last night, yesterday was tough on me!! lol!! Mo took a huge tumble down the stairs and hurt himself, leaving a big hole in the wall with his head....again.......and then he had to go have some big blood tests done at the hospital but he was so brave and the nurses were absolutely awesome. They could see he was worried and agitated as soon as he arrived so they used a freezing spray to get his bloods right away rather than pop magic cream on and make him worry for 45 mins while it numbed. They also said he must be double jointed like me because of the angle they had his arm held at so he couldn't see the process!!! lol!!!

So a little bit of magnolia cuteness was very much the tonic..oh and catching up with GOT too!! lol!!

Have a fabulous day everyone
huge hugs Lou xx

Tiddly Inks challenge 131...Celebrate!!

Image- Berrylicious.
Doo Hickey heart branch.
Morning peeps!!!
I am getting my post written in between calming down a panicky Mo as he has some blood tests to get done up at the hospital today and he is not loving the thought at all. We have been up in the night with him worrying, which disturbed a little bit sore from being spayed furball princess who decided she needed snuggles too so we look like zombies  but the sun is shining (..and i have squirted some Bachs rescue remedy into Mo's mouth in abundance and Poppy has had her pawsy peep calpol....) so hopefully they will be a squidge calmer soon!!! anyway.......
Its time for a new challenge over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blogToday, we have a very simple challenge...

Any celebration will do, celebrate birthdays, babies, graduations, friends, family or pets!  Celebration can include just about anything, so go through your stash and see what you need. Have a wedding coming up or a baby shower?  Now you have the perfect excuse to make those much needed cards for this time of year!  Remember, use a Tiddly Inks image and link up a new project.

I just had to get my 3D fun head on again and go for another one of the cute little bags I love to make. I decided to return to just decorating the inside of this one and not adding an extra card because I love the surprise of the bag being the card and it always looks so cute inside.
Here it is all closed up.....

And here is a little closer look at the center and verse part..

The handle in the bag is just perfect for hanging on a hook to display it.

Right, off to get a cup of tea and some paracetemol for me, my head is starting to hurt some! Its been a funny couple of weeks! Dad is doing so well. He has been for a couple of walks around the village to get his newspapers and is resting nicely. It has all been a bit of a big shock for him as he lost his own Dad through a heart attack so he has been a little reflective and worried but I am sure he is starting to feel a little more relaxed and at ease now.

Have a fab day everyone, huge hugs for you all

Brynn has a baby shower....

Enamel dot-MME Record it Charmed.
Coloured with promarkers.
Hi everyone!

I just had to get this  Uptown Girl inked up this weekend, she is just such a sweetheart.

I went for a good and big 8x8 card for this one because so I could use some nice big cuts of the Echo Park bundle of joy mini kit and its stickers!! oooh its so gorgeous!! I paper pieced her dress up and coloured the rest of her with my promarkers then it was just a case of choosing which couple of stickers I wanted.

I stamped the sentiment that comes with her on a scrap of the pink and then spent some time carefully die cutting my other scraps to get a lovely little assortment of fishtail banners I could layer up at the side.

I added a little enamel dot onto the edge because they do just make fabulous faux brads! they look awesome with none of that poke it through and fold the backs down palava!!!

I will be at work when this little post goes up and then catching some zzzz's all day so I will pop in on you all later!!

Thank you for popping in!

Weddings are just my cup of tea..lots of piccies!!

Teapot- Tea for you and me from SVG cuts.
Stamp- Wedding Couple from LOTV.
Hiyah Peeps!

Well today was a funny old day! wonderful day with Mo and he loved catching up with his little buddies outside and had his hair trimmed (...well..when i say trimmed I mean more that he let Cheryl 'tickle' the ends with her scissors!! see he is on a mission to grow it long!) but he did have his fringe cut and Cheryl thinned it out with her 'magic' scissors so he isn't too hot. And I got to work on this pretty teapot for a friend who is going to a wedding soon.

And then my mum rang to say my Dad had been rushed to the hospital from the Dr's surgery as he had had a heart attack. He is ok now. The bloods they took are showing the enzymes and the ECG for heart attack so he has been admitted for a couple of days and is waiting for an angiogram to see what damage there is and what they need to do regarding treatment. So I am hugely thankful tonight that he is ok and I have had some truly wonderful messages on my facebook that have made me feel very uplifted. I am always a happy bunny anyway but some love is always most appreciated when you have had a bit of a shock.

So tonight I got on with trying to keep busy and finished off my little teapot. I seriously needed the fun that this gave me tonight. The cutfile is just amazing. Its from SVG cuts and I linked it up there under the top piccy. I wanted to add a little something special for the couple getting married though so inside the lid I stuck my little stamp....

he he he! too cute right?!! and when you pull it all out you can see the little pennants I made with the scraps of patterned paper I had left.
Here's the little teapot lid bit all on its own...
and here's the little couple a little closer in. You can just about make out the bling and shine.
I added a little lace to the bottom of the teapot and lid and then die cut some rolled daisies, butterflies and magnolia heart swirl branches to decorate the lid.

Right then, I am off to bed! I need to put today to bed!! thank you for popping in on me

Huge hugs Lou xxx

Poppy-licious....

Image- Poppy-licious from Tiddly Inks.
Morning everyone!!

I hope you are all waking up to a wonderful wednesday. I am! I feel sore from yesterday's dentists torture but its the school holidays and I am loving soaking up some Mo time.

Todays share is one of the new Tiddly Inks images that were released yesterday, Poppy-licious.

On the day I coloured this little cutie up it was Autism Day so for my little Mo I coloured her up in blue and I love how she came out. All I needed to do was add some yummy papers and a little ribbon and bow. I glued a little heart onto the top of the bow just to finish it off.

I hope you all have a great day

too cute- ilicious.......

Image- Cute-ilicious from Tiddly Inks.
Hi everyone!! I am back!!!

Now, I am so pleased I can type this and not talk it as I have just got back from the dentists after having a filling and I am all numb! I had to have 2 syringes of anesthetic into my gum as it was a wisdom tooth at the back and was real sensitive so there will be some straw drinking and no eating for a while in this house! Mo however thinks it is hilarious and is giggling at me everytime I try to answer him!!

So on an uber happy note there are new spring girls in the shop!! I am so excited because they are just sooo gorgeous. I am going to share one make today and another on friday and if I can squeeze in a little crafty time today there might even be all 3!! so here they are...
Did you like the way I linked all those little piccies in for ya?!! just the be helpful....!!!!

But seriously...How cute are they?!!! I love them!! so I got all girly and pretty with this card.

I am popping my little springy girl make in the Spring has Sprung challenge over on the Papertake Weekly challenge blog.

wow...its so hard to drink a cup of tea and swallow it when half your lips and half your tongue is numb......

Thank you for popping back in
Huge hugs Lou xx
