Tilli Gnome........

Image- Tilli Gnome.
Morning everyone.

Lou in for you today with the gorgeous new Tilli Gnome. Isn't she just magical? I love those little pointy ears.... awwwwww.

I actually made myself go CAS with this little cutie. Sometimes a stunner of an image needs nothing more than a bit of relaxing time colouring her up. She was just so sweet I had to make up a sentiment just for her too.

Thank you for popping in

You are Brewtiful.......

Hi everyone!

I am so sore today! I have hurt my knee doing my power walking and it really hurts! lol! what a banana brain! so I am trying to rest it while feeling frustrated that I can't just bounce out and do my thing! grrrr!!!!!!! cabin fever will set in I am sure but I really need to be busy at the minute as I am worrying myself about Mo's full day visit to his new school for september tomorrow, gulp. Time to apply the big girl pants mummy!!!

This super fun challenge is such a fab one with plenty of options for you to get your tiddly on!!

You can use any 3 in a line, including diagonals, so off you go!! ....and...we fully expect every one of you to shout 'Tingo' when your make is done!! he he!!!!

(**remember...We love to see any new creation, a card, 3D project, journal page etc

I just had to use one of the new Molly images, she is just way too sweet. I sat and coloured up all 4 yesterday to de-stress but this lil lady spoke to me for todays challenge make!!

I often get messages to ask how I distress my paper edges. Its just a simple pair of scissors I use at the minute but once my craft room is tidy, I will be back to using my diztress it all tool! oooh I love that little buzzing machine! it makes the edges go all floofy woofy in seconds!!!

Right, must dasheroo, my lil guy needs a snuggle he says and I can't resist those!! he's such a sweetheart still wanting them so I am taking them all while I can!!! he he!!

awwwwww!!!!! right?!!! I am slowly working my way through them all!!!

Well, I need to dash. My little guy is off on his night away with his class and he is so excited (....mummy is not so excited, mummy is puddle of upset but not letting Mo see a whisper of it so he has a super duper time!!!!). Scott has taken the day off so we can wave him off together (...which is totally code for 'so he can pick puddle of mummy up and keep her cheery when the bus is out of sight...).

Waiting for Rain.......

Image- Waiting for Rain (boy).
Raindrop paper- Avril (full set).
Morning everyone!

I'm in with a make totally inspired by a jump in the puddles with my little Mo yesterday afternoon I just had to colour up the new Waiting for Rain (boy).

And super yippee!! in the Avril (full set) there are the most gorgeous raindrop papers so I merged my little boy onto one piece and printed another set out slightly larger to make my matting paper too! I love it!!

There is seriously nothing more enjoyable as a parent than actually getting quality time with your little peeps. We spent saturday geocaching. We had a 5hr 20 mins walk, covering 14.49km. We got drenched with heavy rain, dried out again because it was so warm, lost our log book writing pen near the end, had a small disaster with a little mo bursting for the loo ( thank god for woodland paths we were walking, large dandelion leaves and huge puddles from the rain...), soaking wet boots, blisters and very tired legs but it was so much fun and Mo loved every minute!

Then yesterday it rained....like loads! and Mo was getting a little bored towards the end of the day so I got my boots and waterproof coat on, got his ready and then took him out to jump in the puddles. Despite the rain, we only found one mummy and mo worthy puddle...and oh boy did we make the most of it!! he he!!

Right, got to dash! Thank you for popping in, Hugs Lou xx

Mega mini amazing............

Morning everyone!

Lou in with a make for you today and I was soooo excited to finally get my little TGF Mega Mini Amazing stamps and dies!! They are seriously cute!!! and I was in the mood for something a bit different so I teamed them up with my TE Plot Twist stamp set and my Die Namics wonky stitched circle stax die set for a cute little pop up front kinda card! well, you know me, I love a bit of poperooo!!!

Here's the little slider front opened. I do love a little surprise to slide open and the little sentiments on the  TGF Mega Mini Amazing stamp set are just so uplifting and cute I needed to use a few and that lovely little bundle of stars to finish it off.

So yesterday I began my Get Lou Fit regime. I have put on a stone since I finished work and it's time to sort me out. I have decided on brisk walking for my daily 'I can do this' routine so on went my trainers and off I went!! I weighed a whopping 13st 8lbs last tuesday, and this tuesday after changing a few eating habits, 13st 6lbs so I decided to try and keep the momentum going. I have awful sunburn on my shoulders so a bra has been a no no. (..now, if the vision of those those 38FF boobs swaying free in the fast walking speed don't make you run for a tena lady moment right away, here's how the walk went.....)

Brisk walk get fit..in my head...I was a totally glamorous Lou,sashaying along like snow white, talking to the birds that land on her shoulder as I walked along...Reality...2 miles into 4 mile walk..talking to birds? yeah right, I was just concentrating on breathing and keeping pace up...3 miles into walk...sashaying glamourously???WHATEVER!!! jeeeeeeees I needed a wee and was concentrating hard on pelvic floor not letting me down and glamourously letting out pee as I walked!! 4 miles and home...thank god...run for wee, drink 500ml water and treat friction burn from the fat wing bat wing on my right arm!!! then I realised I have friction burns on both fat wing bat wings and my inner thigh...and they are soooo sore but I will not be beaten!!!!

So today I will do the same 4 mile brisk walk but with a long top on and some good tight leggings to stop the rubbing together of fat bits.I am going to keep positive and rock this loose the blubber mission!!...I will fail epicly along the way but there is no journey without learning lessons!!!

Thank you for popping in, hugs Lou xxx

Challenge #184...one for the boys!

Image- My Batty Hero.
Papers- Retired grunge star from Tiddly Inks.
Morning everyone!!
Its time for a new challenge over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and this week t's one of my favourites! I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with for this one because you can never have enough 'male species' card ideas!!! they are such a tricky one to get right! so it's.....

One For The Boys!!!
so think makes for sons, dads, grandads, nephews and
any other male species!!!
Fathers day, birthdays, graduations, good luck whatever you like but
IT MUST BE FOR THE BOYS!!!

(**remember...We love to see any new creation, a card, 3D project, journal page etc
but you must use a Tiddly Inks stamp or image **)

I decided to go for the scrummy My Batty Hero. He is just so adorable and he never goes out of style. There is always a call for batman in the world!! I actually used my clear stamp version of this little cutie and masked the bottom of the circle of before I stamped it with my misti but he is retired now so I have linked the just as awesome digital image for you.

And I just had to use that awesome pleated fold effect again. It looks so gorgeous with the 3 stripe star paper from the retired grunge star paper set ( ..I have sent Christy a begging message to get her to release it again for you because it is just one of my favourite paper sets from her ever!! its perfect for so many things.).

Right, time for me to get going. I have stupidly given myself a touch of sunstroke yesterday and am feeling a squidge rough....dopey Lou! but some paracetemol and aloe gel for the burnt bits should sort me out! I am going to walk tys before it gets too warm and then hide in the house and watch the gorgeous sunshine for the rest of the day!

Huge hugs Lou xxx

6 Baby Fairies boys...Ciaran

Morning everyone!

I'm in with my Dream Team make for you today with one of the fairy baby boys from that gorgeous little 6 Baby Fairies Boys set again. This time I used Ciaran. He is sooo cute!!!!

I adore this set, it is perfect for so many occasions and this time it's me making a start on thank you cards for the amazing teachers at my little boy's school for the end of term in 7 weeks. I cannot even begin to get into words my gratitude for them always taking Little Mo as he is and just 'getting him'. They have been such a huge supportive and special part of our lives for the past few years and I am very sad that it is the last term. I am so thankful we found them when we did and they pulled my little guy from the depths of being sad and withdrawn into the sunny little guy at school that he is now.

Right, got to dash. Its the first day back after half term break and I need a cuppa to give me some umpf for the morning. I adore the holidays and will be totally honest in saying that no matter how much I love Mo's school, I don't want to share !! he he he!!!! He's had a bad few days with his tummy playing up again but he's excited to go back so mamma needs to get a grip!!!!

Thank you for popping in

Papers- Carta Bella Rustic Elegance.
Hi everyone!!

It's time for a new challenge over on the DP2 challenge blog and as always, its a scrumptious anything goes with a mo image challenge.

I chose to work with the gorgeous new Kate. She was 50% off for 24 hrs so I just couldn't resist adding her to my collection!! If you want to snag yourself a Mo's Digital Pencil bargain make sure you keep an eye on her store front page. New images keep popping in there for a whopping 50% off for the first 24 hrs!! ooooh I do love a bargain!!

I kept to my fave normal Lou colours and she looked so deliciously vintage. I added a few polka dots to her hat ribbon for a little fun. Isn't she just fab?

This morning we have made coca cola jelly with some hartleys make your own flavour jelly crystals!! Mo is very excited for it to set at tea time!! Yesterday it was my birthday and I made myself a really cute birthday cake. A friend of mine shared a video of a cupcake bouquet cake so I decided I would have a go but with my mini cupcake cases instead. I also used a cake sphere base instead of the polystyrene ball in the video because I thought cake is too yummy to pass on!! he he!! this is how it came out.... so cute!! I made some teeny little bumble bee's too!!

The picture isn't great but it was soooo cute!!!

Right, got to go!!! Its quite chilly here today so we are going to snuggle up on the settee with a blanket and watch Alice in wonderland.
