Naunet....

Image- Naunet.
Morning everyone!!

Happy Monday!! I'm in with my Dream Team post for you today with a super sweet mermaid image. I really, really wanted to get a Mermaid done for me and on Sunday I grabbed my crafty time and ran with it!!!

But Naunet is just the sweetest with her little band of fishy friends around her. I love it. I printed her out and coloured her up in my happy little dreamy colouring world! I do so love a good crafty day.

I decided to get out my gorgeous blending chalks to do the background. I haven't used them in such a long while but they leave the most beautiful effect. And then for extra fun, I decided to have a quick spray with glitter and then add a shiney spray to the top to fix the chalk.

I cut a couple of seaweed fronds from one of my old Magnolia Doo Hickey sets and the little wave border is from it too. The little shells are the teeny weeny ones I love to pick up when we go to the beach. There is nothing nicer than digging around for these. They look so sweet on cards and projects and all they need is a little hot glue to adhere them in place.

The sentiment is from old paper smooches set but I love it! It's such a fun twist on Best Wishes for a birthday card and perfect for this one with those little fishy friends.

Right, I need to get my workout done, these old bones don't get fit by themselves! It's hard work but I still think it's worth every bead of sweat to get as fit as I can after a couple of years worth of operations and cancer treatment! It takes its toll so you have to really work to get yourself back to where you want to be. I'm so lucky though. It totally gave me the push to keep going and get myself in much better shape than I was before cancer hit! he he!!

Thank you for popping in, Hugs Lou xx

3 on a bench....

Sentiment- Cupcake Hamster.

Evening all!!

I have had such a lovely day today. I got my jobs started early this morning and had one load of washing done by the end of the school run so I hung it out and took a walk with the dogs this morning, a lovely 4 mile one in the beautiful sunshine and then I came home and hung out another load of washing before getting time to sit and play in my craft room.

I love days like today where you just fancy making something and go with it, they are always the best.

This cute little image is one of the new ones from Mo's Digital Pencil. I adore it!! they just look too cute.

I attempted to colour them up so they looked like they had been playing in the sun and stopped for a snack break! awwwww they really are so cute!!

I think birthday cards are my most made card, and the sentiment from Cupcake Hamster was just perfect with those little full mouths!!

Right, I need to scoot!! I am going to try and squeeze in another band stretch before I have a bath...or shower because I actually think it might be too hot for a bath tonight!!!

Thank you for peeking in, huge hugs Lou xxx

Tiddly Inks challenge #225...Let's Get Dotty!!

Image- Cute-ilicious.
Good Morning everyone!!

Its the first Tuesday of May....wait whhaaaaaaat?? May already?? oh my!!! but you all know as trusted Tiddly peeps that the first Tuesday of the month means a super fun new Tiddly challenge and this month we are going dotty!! yup, that's right! this month's challenge is...

Let's get Dotty!!
So, think dotted design papers, doodling dots around your image and just lots of spots! he he!!

(**remember...We love to see any new creation, a card, 3D project, journal page etc
but you MUST use a Tiddly Inks stamp or image **)

I just had to use Cute-ilicious. There is just something about this golden oldie Tiddly Inks image that makes me smile from ear to ear. I think it's the tulip dress and those teeny weeny lil ladybirds that clinch the deal!! she is just adorable and that is that!!!

Here's a closer peek of me attempting to get that bling photo I always struggle to catch!!!

Well, that's me for today.

Little Mo and I are both feeling pretty under the weather today. We have sore tummies so a day of rest for both of us is on the cards. I am not one for stopping when I feel rough but sometimes I manage to listen to my body!!!!

Thank you for popping in, huge hugs Lou xxx

Hush....

Image- Hush.
Morning all!!

I hope you are all waking up to gorgeous Sundays. They always feel so much more exciting when they are followed by a Bank Holiday Monday don't they?!!!

I have had a busy morning so far! I've done my workout and knocked out 2 more cards from my little crafty desk so now I've got all that done, I've got time to sit at my pooter and make my blog post!.

It's time for a new challenge over on the Mo's Digital Pencil challenge blog and there is a lovely optional theme of 'For the Girls'. I can never resist a baby card so I grabbed Hush.

I love this image. The lines of it are so soft. Some papers from my stash pile and a few die cuts and she was done.

Right, time to walk some pawsy peeps!! It's not that warm here today but they are still eager to go...they are at that 'Lie down at my feet but move every single time I move and if I get up, get even more excited' stage of the morning!!!! I wouldn't have it any other way though, they keep me on my toes!!

Thank you for popping in, HUge hugs Lou xxx
