Morning peeps!

I hope you are all waking up to fabulous fridays? I love fridays because Scott works long hours mon-thurs and we get a bit of friday time together while Mo is at school.

And of course, its fab friday over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog!! 

So my make was for my friends mum who broke both her ankles on holiday last week :( oh my :( both :( Luckily she is making a nice recovery now she is home but I wanted to just make her something to cheer her up while she was in hospital and Wryn New Wings  did just the job perfectly.

Well, that's it from me for today! we are hopefully going to finish off making the breakfast bar in the kitchen today. So excited because its going to look so lovely. The sun shines into our kitchen in a morning so sitting there with a cup of tea after the school run will be so lovely.

Sorry I am so late with my post this morning, the weather here is awful!! heavy rain had stopped me running out to take a piccy!!

But this is my make for today!...well...actually yesterday!! I had a file from Lori Whitlock that I really wanted to play with and some actual time for me yesterday so I played away!!! its such  fun card to play with! ( thanks Lori xxx)

It felt so good to just cut a few things I have been waiting to play with on my silhouette machine...yup! more coming through the week if I get them done!!! it was a bit of a paper massacre here yesterday!!! lol!!!

Anyway, here's the inside of this cute little shutter card...

and this is a lil video to show how it opens!!!! so cool!! .........and yup...I did just kinda throw the belly band down onto the floor so I could use both hands to show you how it opens (...huge thanks also to the poor suffering hubby who gets to shoot the video...like 3 or 4 times...while dopey here gets opening it right!! he's such a star!!)

Bag Tutorial- Qbee's Quest.

Morning everyone!

I'm in with a super cute make this morning using Daddy's Girl UK. She was just what I needed for a card I had been tasked to make for my friend's daughter!. It went...she is going to be 21, she likes handbags, yellow, pigs and she loves rugby. 

So, I of course, headed straight for one of my oldest (from 2011!!!) but still favourite tutorials from Brenda over on her blog Qbee's Quest. This card has been magic to me since I found it all those years ago, you can seriously have so much fun with it and I will be eternally grateful to Brenda for this tutorial as long as I am making stuffs!!! 

And this is how it opens....

So the bag when its all done up is below.. The little pig is from Mama Elephant's Lunar Animals set.

...and of course, a little close up of her inside! she's just gorgeous.I coloured her up with the Harlequins Rugby Team colours as Ellie is a huge rugby fan and rugby player.

I made the little rugby goal posts from cake pop sticks and added her name to the top of them on a little banner.

I absolutely love this little card. I feel so blessed to of been able to work with such a gorgeous image and make such a personal little birthday card. That's where the magic is peeps!!

Today I have a date with a huge pile of ironing! Oh yes, I know how to rock my mondays! but in all honesty, I do adore ironing! there is something about the warm smell and watching the creases disappear that is so relaxing.

Hi everyone!

I'm in with a post for you today using the new Let's be Bunnies image from saturated Canary. Having 2 gorgeous bunnies of my own I couldn't resist playing with this cutie, I think she's just fabulous.

I thoroughly enjoyed having one of those 'splodge it all on' Lou moments with this one! well, you gots to have those days right?! and the funniest thing is..while I've been splodging this card together Scott has been busy putting our bunnies rabbit run together!!

My bunnies are just my babies! They are called William and Kate...after royalty of course!! and I adore them! 

We rescued them from the RSPCA at the end of the summer and have been spoiling them rotten ever since! he he!!

So I just had to colour up that adorable little Purrfect . It is one of Mo's newer images from around valentines day but I love it so much I couldn't resist a make!! I LOVED making that little ball of string! what kitty doesn't like a ball of string to play with?!!!

I am so late posting this! I had a lot on today and then promptly fell asleep with my little Mo so woke up with a little small curse of ot oh (...ok...so the words weren't actually ot oh...they were a bit worser and nearly as blue as kitties hoodie.....!!)

Right, got to go! a cuppa and an early night is on order, I am waving to my sleepy self from my pooter keyboard!! lol!!

Well, there are bonuses to being up at 3am with a Little Mo!! (...oh ok..so it doesn't feel like a bonus but there is coffee and toast so its not all bad!!!!)

It meant that I could get a little craftying done for you today with  Poppy revised. I was so excited when Krista did a good old re-do of these older images. You can find a lot of the revised images HERE ON THE FRONT PAGE OF THE SHOP.

So now I am going to finish off a 21st birthday make and get more coffee..!! lol!!!

Hi everyone! 

Well, while the new Mama Elephant release and restocks are snuggled in customs for their 3rd week (...see..look how I tried to make it sound all cute and positive there?.... rather than OMG seriously customs just let 'em go..) I thought I would have a play with my...Mo's Lunar Animal set for easter ( ...in my defense this make is for Mo so I have redeemed myself for pinching his stamp set right?!!!).

I recycled a little clear box I had saved from christmas (..sigh..yes, I am always saving stuffs like this!!!) adhered a little design paper to the back inside and filled it with little mini mini chocloate eggs from B&M (.....there might not be many left in the packet................).

Then a little bit of fun with die cutting and it was done! its so cute I wannna squish it (...yes, and maybe steal all the lil eggs too...).

I used Eggcellent News Wryn for my image today. I love those little eggs in the nest so much and easter is all about new beginnings so it was just perfect for the job.

I coloured them up a beautiful blue colour and then added my spectrum noir sparkle pen to the top,ooooh I love that pen! then a good old splodge of glossy accents to make them come alive on the card. They look so pretty, like little jewels in the nest!

Right, pawsy peeps to feed and ironing to tackle then school run and sorting out my shower! I need to do the sealant and have to admit I've rather been avoiding doing it! Its an icky mess that stuff!!

Oh my! I hope you all caught the gorgeous new images this weekend. I was over the moon to see the new twins one (....I might of done a little cyber arm pulling for the twins again....same time next year for the 3 yr one Maurie..ok?...lol!!!) so I got busy on it right away for my friends gorgeous little twinnies!! They are some of my favourite peeps so it had to be a pretties card!!

But seriously, this image makes it soooo easy, look how cute...
