Sweet Sailor Girl.......

Image- Sweet sailor Girl from Saturated Canary.
Sentiment- Guy Greetings from Stampin Up.
Papers-  Bildmalarna An Ocean of Strawberries.

Hi everyone!

I am sneaking in late with a make because I got a little crafting done while my little Mo was making his DT make for his Dies To Die For post tomorrow!! He made his little tag for daddy and I got to play with the gorgeous  Sweet sailor Girl from Saturated Canary.

Isn't she just gorgeous? and my lovely friend Mandy gave me a gorgeous stamp set on tuesday because I gave her a lovely stash of diamond white cardstock to practice her promarker colouring on. Its called Guy Greetings from Stampin Up and it had the most perfect stamp in for my sentiment.

We've had an uber busy day getting ready for Little Mo's table at the RSPCA funday tomorrow, he has got a lovely tombola selection and Scott has made him a 'Splat the rat' game!! its so cool!! here is Little Mo at the ready with it this afternoon when he tested it out after mummy's painting efforts had dried!!

He is as pleased as punch with it!! He went to bed all excited and nervous bless him!! He has set himself a target of raising £100 tomorrow so fingers crossed he will get somewhere near that. Scott and I folded 500 tombola tickets for his little tombola so we are keeping everything crossed for him, though he is the most grounded little fella and is not worried about not making his target, he says everything helps a paws in some way. He is the actual cutest!!!

Right, got to go. I need a cuppa and some sleep!! I am beat tonight!!

Huge hugs and love for you all

Tiddly Inks challenge #188...Under the sea...

Morning all!!

It's time for another fun challenge over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog and the Tiddly Inkers are all refreshed and feeing magical after our little Tiddly-Cation. It's good to rest these awesome ladies for you now and again you know because then they come back with a totally magical new challenge for you and this one is super fun!!! I LOVE it! it's....

Under The Sea!!

So think mermaids, sea creatures and uber fun!! we are so lucky that Christy totally caters for this theme in the shop!!! there's everything you need in there to create some magic for us to drool over!!!

(**remember...We love to see any new creation, a card, 3D project, journal page etc
but you must use a Tiddly Inks stamp or image **)

Of course, that gorgeous  Amy and her mini mermaid friends had to be used!! I don't know why but each one of those little mermaids makes me smile every time I coulor one up. They are just truly magical mermaid fun.

I stepped out of the Lou comfort zone too for this one and made my own background. Now, I am happy to admit I need distress ink splodging with water help here but I do love the effect I got with my first go at it. Yesterday when I popped it onto our DT blog I thought meh, this is pants but I am one for plodding along the try it out chick route and this morning I really love it so a little more practice and tutorial watching and I think I'll get the knack at it!!

Right, I've got to dash. Little Mo and I are catching the bus into town today (..poorly MOT failed car a la car Dr surgery...!) and you know how much mo loves a bus adventure and he doesn't want to miss his card and coffee class while its the holidays and he can go.

Huge hugs for you all

Pocket notebook...

Pocket Notebook Tutorial- By Mandy.
Written tutorial HERE on Mandy's blog.
Papers from the Crate Paper Toy Box collection kit.

Hello peeps!!

I've had a lovely couple of hours crafting away while Scott and Mo have some Daddy and me time and I wanted to tell you all about it so here I am!! he he!

So last week whilst looking for local stampin up people I was uber lucky to find Mandy who lives in my village!! whoot whoot!!! and if that wasn't exciting enough ( ..yup, ya'll know me!! actual tena lady squeel moment but hey who can blame a gal for getting excited about craft stuff right?!!!) and she knows my mum and dad too so I so should of found her before now!!!

So, I cleaned Mandy out of stampin up dimensionals for making some spinning cards and Mo and I grabbed a catalogue too (when in Rome and all that!! ...doesn't take much to lead us astray on crafty stuffs!!!) and Mandy mentioned that she does a couple of clubs. Well, Mo's eyes lit up and his ears pricked out and he was on it! so on tuesday we went and did our first ever coffee and card. It was wonderful and Mo was so brave. He swapped his coffee out for a choccy milkshake and loved making his card.

In true stalker Lou fashion I found Mandy on facebook, and this morning up went a super fun little notebook tutorial. It was so cute I just had to get all the pieces cut out and ready to go while Scott walked poppy and dasher so that when I had walked Tyson afterwards I could get down to crafty fun!!!

Here's the inside!! Soooo cute!!! I popped some little scraps of dimensionals on the back of some of the die cut shapes from the collection kit so Mo can stick them onto something (....probably his wall or door!!!!) into the little pocket and a couple of the stickers just to Lou froo it up.

And even better, I learnt some cool new tips from Mandy's tutorial like stretching the paper a bit for pockets and keeping them open and......well, you'll just have to go to her tutorial for more cool gems of information won't you!! he he!!!

DP2 challenge #266..Anything Goes with a Mo image!

Its that time of the month again where a fab new challenge pops up on the DP2 challenge blog. And, as always, its time to explore your Mo's Digital Pencil images in your own way!! its.....

Anything Goes with a Mo Image

Winners prize: a $5.00 voucher for Mo's online store.

Remember to follow Mo's Challenge Rules ...
use at least one Mo Manning image...
NEW creations only! (No back linking)...
And, please, only ONE entry per person!

There was no way I could resist one of the new images from last week for this challenge. Say it Ain't so is just so adorable. I love her little OMGosh face so much!!! and it was kinda my face when one of my best budette's told me she is moving :( I am of course very excited for her...but this was totally my face when she told me...and maybe small screams inside too!!! lol!!

Coloured up in my fave Lou colours and with some of my stroke only Basic Grey Lucille papers she was all ready to be cropped a little with my scrumptious Die Namics stitched fishtail frames. I love that little framed effect and the little sentiment that comes with her was screaming make me into a lil fishtail flag so of course I had to!! I also cut one of the scraps from my backing paper too and slipped that underneath.

I am beyond excited today because we are doing the usual 'holiday happy mail' for Mo ( for those who might not know me too well or haven't been following my blog as long, we do this for Mo every summer holidays. We get one little treat a week and put it on the mail so he gets it as a surprise! you's think he would remember it's going to happen by now but he never does and gets so excited every time something arrives!!!!) ....and his weekly surprise should be here today! He has been trying for so long to get a Peter Rabbit 50p piece ( he has even roped one of my friend into checking his shop takings for one!!!) but with no luck and then one of those advert thingies came up on facebook with a little coin collecting kit including the Peter Rabbit 50p for free in the set!! Oh my! I had a little squeel inside as I ordered it while he was making paper aeroplanes on the floor next to me!!! Then when I told Scott about it he ordered a couple more of the special Beatrix Potter 50p's to come at a later date.

Right, got to go! Thank you for popping in on me.

Unicorns and rainbows..............

Stamps- Mama Elephant Unicorns and Rainbows.
Lawn Fawn Violet's ABC's.
Morning peeps!

I'm popping in today with a fun little make!! and what's more scrummy than those gorgeous Mama Elephant Unicorns and Rainbows ? I love them!!! I am seriously addicted to stamps with co-ordinating dies at the minute but this set actually belongs to my little Mo, he was a superstar letting me borrow them yesterday!!

This is a make for one of my BF's little girls.Countdown to fun times!! being little and excited is sooo hard to make timescales understood sometimes!!

I stamped the number of days around the scene made with delicious Carta Bella Cool Summer papers and also onto the backs of the little die cut bits so that each day she can cover up a 'sleep' to help her count them down. I made a little blue tac heart for her to take a little bit off each day and then add the co-ordinating die cut piece to the scene. I had maybe a bit too much fun making this!! he he!!!

Aren't they cute?!! I am seeing lots more of this kinda thing in my future! Mo would love a dino themed one!!!

Thank you for popping in

Big Guy Grilling......

Papers- All Fired Up from Nitwits.
Hi everyone!!

I'm in (errrrrr...totally late because Mo and I have been having some Mo and Mummy chill time...ooops!!!) with a post for you today using that gorgeous Big Guy Grilling. This image is just perfect for summer fun and birthdays but this one is for my step dad who loves to BBQ.

He has just built himself a fabulous new pizza oven too so I guess I'll have to get Maurie busy on a big guy pizza-ing!! he he!

I do just absolutely love man cards though. They are such a fun challenge to make yourself stop adding glitter and flowers and just have fun with some different papers and layers. So much fun.

Right, I need to scoot! I have a little guy who could do with a scoot around the block on his fliker scooter thingy!! oh I do so love the holidays. Time with my mini man is so special to me. The dogs are fast asleep and the washing still has an hour to go so its the perfect time for some fresh air.
