Morning peeps!
I have been having a bit of a play with the templates on my Craft the year away papercraft factory from Funky Hand! oooh I love them, they are so quick and easy to use.
Fir this one I used the wobbler card template and our Betty!! I was determined to make a card for the male species using Betty because she is so versatile. This Betty is from there Love n that stamp set. That gorgeous chunky sentiment is in the set too!!
I couldn't resist punching a little Martha border but kept it all manly with the browns!!
Betty is paper pieced, a bit of green patterned paper for her dress and a yummy browny coloured patterned paper for her choccy box!! I used vanilla and soft peach promarkers to colour her skin and her hair is caramel and sandstone.
Right, better get some lunch made and get myself ready for the school run and work!

For my injection to the DT rainbow I used Christy's little Belinda, isn't she just so sweet? Now I have to admit to still not being a 100% myself after the bug of doom came to get me so I had to resort to the cute little whirrings of my little Mo's mind for my sentiment!!!! we had been chatting about my papers looking like a rainbow so I said to Mo "what do you think about when you think about rainbows Mo?" and he says "mmmmmmmm, well mummy, rainbow colours give me happy thoughts" and I thought that was just perfect! oooh I wish I could bottle him up!!!
Right, back to work for me today so I hope I manage the morning without looking too tired or yukky!!!...time for a cuppa too me thinks!!!
Have a fabby tuesday peeps and thank you for popping in on me.

Fi's Ladybird Challenge.
cut from Doodlecharms cricut cart
Gingham papers from Funky hands Colour Me Happy cd.
Morning peeps!!!
Well I think I am on the mend this morning (....says Lou with everything crossed!!) after feeling quite unwell yesterday and having to leave cricut club early!
I did manage to do my bit fir Fi's Ladybird challenge though!
Fi set us the challenge of using a Ladybird cut so this is what I came up with!!!! 2 cute hairgrips and a wellie peg using the doodlecharms ladybird. He is covered with some anita's gloss on both to make him look all shiney!!!
To make them look even cuter I made some backing for them to sit on using my Colour Me Happy papercraft factory from Funky Hand (.....yes Lou and her gingham obsession strike again!!!!). I also used it on my peg to funky it up a bit!!
So today I need to spend resting up and catching up with everyone's bloggy posts. Little Mo wants to do some cutting out from his new mickey font cart (he looks at the back of his box and says ....."ooooh oooh mummy ooooh look mummy, its got a ticket on! oh we can have tickets for everything..")......Lucky me!! wonder if I will get one for going to the loo?!!
Huge hugs

My throat is grossly sore, I have a temp, runny nose and I feel so sick its pants!! but I still had a card t make because its Grandad's birthday and I was going to do it yesterday but I had to go back to bed in the afternoon due to feeling worser than I feel today!!! OOhhhhhh I am such a wimp but I don't do poorly!!!!
So todays card was a quickie make but still full of oodles of love! I cut myself a couple of tags from my george cart on my cricut an stamped my gorgeous lazy little boy straight onto it ( no colouring because my hands are a bit shakey!) and then it was just a case of a couple of sentiments and some foam to make them all stand out.
I popped a squidge of rafiaon my punched border and the top of the tag and thats about it really!!! can you tell I am feeling sorry for myself!!! Lol!!!
I might be back later for a bloggy womble!!

Hello peeps!!I hope you have all had a lovely weekend. Mine only started today as I was on a course yesterday at work but oh wow it was fabulous. We had 2 ladies from Reggio Emilia come to talk to us about the principles they use in their education centres. It was awesome and I feel completely inspired and rejuvinated in my job...just in time to have a week off with Mo!!! :)
So now I have to firstly apologise to Lou who has probably fallen off her chair because I have actually entered the Basic Grey Challenge this week!!!!! Every 2 weeks I promise myself I will stop stroking my Basic Grey paper stacks and use them!!
The challenge is a sketch challenge and it is lovely.
I managed well last week making some boy cards with one of my stacks but this week it was the turn of my Sugared paper pad. All the papers on my card are out of that pad apart from the paper i stamped Raven and the sentiment on, they are white with a good old splodging of Antique Linen distress ink on!!!!
This stack is seriously stroke only in my crafty room but in celebration of both my treasured bloggy friends Fleur and Lou being on the Basic Grey challenge DT I have used some!!!!!!
I coloured Raven up, trying to use similar colours to my yummy papers and I made my flowers with scraps of my paper too!! ooh so organised!!!! (...nope it won't last!!!!)
Right then I am off to get a cuppa and get Mo ready for bathtime fun and then I might even go back out and do a bit more making!!!
huge hugs

Anyway, its fabulously inky friday today over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and I thought I would cheer myself up yesterday with a quick Tiddly make! If you do download my frame and have a make with it I would love to see it. Its my first MTC share and I am really excited about it!!!
I cut my frame using my Love Love Love heart paper, it looks so sweet with teeny hearts popping up all over it and the sentiment is from an awesome ladies blog who I love to smooch around! she does lovely word art sentiments ( all linkies at top under piccy!!)

Well two days has passed since the Funky Fifteenth so that means its my turn to share with you my take on our lovely Jules's 'Show Us Your Heart' challenge over on Get Funky. ( click on the linky to go see Jules post and gorgeous card if you haven't already seen it!).
Urgh, its just a box you think..........but ohhhhhhhh..........
Urgh...its a box with a lid then you all think....but wait....oooooooooh (can you tell I was excited making this yet? :) )I decided to get all technical for mine and made myself some cute little draws to put little choccies in for my amazing hubby. I adore the new Love,Love,Love download in the shop so that just had to get used along with my trusty cricut for cutting the heart.
At only £3.19 this is such a fabulous download! there's paper for boys in abundance on it which is great for me as the projects for the boys in my life are the ones I always struggle with!!!
So, a quick reminder that to enter you need to grab your favourite Funky Hand papers and add a heart and then linky your entry HERE on Jules's first post.
If you need a bit of help in the heart department our lovely Anice has been busy creating you all a gorgeous Heart paper freebie to use if you would like to.
And of course, don't forget to pop back into Get Funky on Friday 19th Feb when Anice will be strutting her stuff with her make!!

Link them using the little linky frog over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog before 10pm CST on monday 21st Feb. Don't forget to womble over and see what the Tiddly Inkers have been making to inspire you, they are absolutely amazing.
For mine I used the super cute Cookie Bugg and her set which is called Cookies Galore.I love the sentiment!!!
I wanted to keep it simple and I chose brown for my monochromatic colour scheme.
I coloured and glossy accented the choccy chips in her cookie to make them look even more delicious and also dotted some around the bottom part of my card for more choccy chips!!!
Mo loves this card and wants to pinch it for his teacher, Mrs.Kay. She is the most awesome teacher and Mo thinks the world of her. He came home so happy after his castle visit yesterday. Mo struggles with school trips and really gets himself in a worry. He said he got upset and cried and she got him a tissue and made him feel all better and brave. I am so proud and extremely lucky to have such an awesome and caring lady look after Mo all day. Thank you Mrs. Kay xxxxx
I also want to remind you thatit is the Funky Fifteenth of the month today and the lovely Jules is our hostess with the mostest so she will be setting us all off with an exciting new challenge for the month over on Get Funky. We had a lovely night last night watching Russell Crowe in Robin Hood. I loved it!!
I have been spoilt rotten for valentines day with some new pj's, a lounge suit and the 3 twilight films on blue ray.
I will be able to share the gift I have made for Scott on thursday!!! though its not as fancy as all the bits I got for valentines day!!! bless him, he's such a super guy and I love him so much. Sorry for the soppiness but he really is an amazing guy.
Love at first byte from Tiddly Inks was the perfect image for a card made especially for my hubby and the papers from Funky Hands Colour Me Happy and just amazing because they are fab for a boy card in this colourway and the dashy one so reminds me of computers and robots!!!
