Morning peeps!!!

Its a stunning sunny saturday morning here and that sun is soooo welcome after a few days of rain, wind and thunder! 

This little make is for a Grandad for Fathers day, so cute!!! I stamped the little girl first and then masked her with my frisket film. I love frisket film. I stamp my stamp on it first with staz on and then cut it out and it is good for like a zillion times of using it. I have had my roll of frisket for 4 years now and it still has oodles left on it!!
So I stamped my little girl up, covered her in the frisket film and then stamped the little boy so he was just behind her a little. Then I took the frisket film off and coloured up my pair of cuties!!!
I know you can do it just as easily with paper and a bit of removable tape but I love my frisket bacuse its clear and I can see exactly what I am doing....because I am that dopey I would get it wrong somehow!!!!!

I stamped one of the gorgeous postmarks out and cut around the edge then popped it onto a little circle of Kraft card to give it an edge, adding one of the little hearts from my border to the centre of it.

Man cards are sooo hard, I so wanted to add a few flowers to this one!! he he he!!!

These 2 are off to sit in the LOTV ideas to inspire monthly challenge which is use a sentiment. I love those Greetings Postmakrs, my friend Lou made me get them...she did....she forced me......well thats what I told Scott anyway :) !!!!!

We are having a vegging out kinda day today. Mo was poorly last night and I was up with the little guy twice in the night, he had a bad tummy ache and cold sweats, so weird, he was freezing but dripping with sweat :( poor guy. I snuggled him up and he settled back off to sleep around 2:30am, then was up again at 4:30am so we have been pootling around ever since, calpol, snuggles and coffee...lots of coffee... will be the order of the day I think ( though currently as I type he and daddy are singing along to the phineas and ferb title sequence....!!!)

feeling funky on a friday!!!

Morning Peeps!!

I hope you are all waking up to a wonderful friday? I am. I have my hubby off for the day with me and some fathers day orders to get done so its the best kind of friday for me!!

I thought I would share a little box I have made this morning. I have had a stash of favour boxes since scott and I got married, I think I bought 200! I just love little boxes so I knew they would come in handy and this one is winging its way to my day with some pennies in for fathers day.

The papers are from the awesome new Winter Wedding download ...proving its not just for weddings or winter :) and the little tie is from the Wishes and Kisses cd rom. I used the uncoloured one and printed the tie onto a scrap of the winter wedding papers I ad left. Then it was just some nifty snipping with my scissors to make the shirt collar before attaching the tie on.

The 'DAD' I made with some old flower stems I had left over from making a card the other day ( I always keep those nifty bits of wire from them just incase!!) I die cut my letters from more scraps of the winter wedding paper and glued them onto the sticks! I love that bit, it looks so much fun just seeing them standing up from the box!!!

Right, thats me for today!! but before I go I mist just share this funny piccy of Scott and Mo last night!! we had to do the dreaded new trainer shop for Mo last night but he was such a superstar we got him a McDonald's. It was Despicable Me so you can imagine how excited Mo was by the toy, he LOVES Despicable Me minions!! and clearly Scott does too as he pinched the eyes and put them over his own. The mother and child sitting behind us were howling with laughter. I totally love that we are still a goofy family!!! but seriously there can be nothing better than making someone smile so I am doing the same for you today...here are my goofballs.....

a bit more fathers day!!

 Morning peeps!!

I have had a couple of super busy days so my bloggy has been sleepying while I got on with an induction day for my new job at Tesco's!! I am so excited about it!! I will be working 2 nights from 10pm until 7am which is just perfect as I know Mo and Poppy will be tucked up safe at home with daddy while I am working and I don't need to worry, perfect!!

So this morning I have been getting on with a few fathers day cards that I had kinda forgotten to add to my list of bits to make...gulp!! but these are my fav man cards to make, I love these little shirts so much and I tucked a little happy fathers day circle sentiment inside them too.

Now, when you sit at your table and all of a sudden think hmmmmmmm, the furball princess is kinda quiet and go to investigate why this is what you might find......

yup!! she is fast asleep in there!! she has been playing with this football for about 2 weeks now and managed to get the ball out of the 'skin' this morning. I went into the lounge to find her fast asleep in the shell!!! too funny!! so naturally I had to snap a piccy of it!! too funny!!

It is supposed to be sports day today for Mo but as yet I am unsure as its started to rain :( hoping it clears up before 2:45pm!!!!

Oooooh fun right?! I know I needed me some sunshine feeling,its kinda cold here right now!! and I had a couple of cards to make for my friend who had little peeps birthdays coming up from her daughters swim group. The little super cute Going Swimming Girl is sooo perfect for that!! love her!!

Right I need to get a skooch on! Mo's breakfast buddy Sophia will be here soon,I have my Weight Watchers weigh in this morning, then an MRI scan at 12pm so I have got to get myself moving!!

Morning everyone!! 

its wedding season! wohoooo!! and I had a couple of cards to make so I headed straight for the gorgeous 'I do' from the shop! I love these stamps, they are such an easy and fun stam to colour up.

I coloured them up with my promarkers and the cut them out so I could pop them up a little from the card base on some foam.

The sentiment comes with them and I stamped that onto a little label cut from the Fishtail layers stax and curled the end around my finger to make it all 'flaggy' !!! I added a little enamel dot to it. I love those too! they are fab!!

Afternoon Peeps!!!!

So I got time to squeeze in another make this afternoon. Mo was sat playing Moshi Monsters so I thought I would get my christening card for my gorgeous little nephew done and join in the children of all ages challenge over on the DP2 challenge blog!!

My nephew is soooo cute and he is getting christened in July. I am super duper excited because my step mum and baby sister are coming home for a while from the seychelles and will be there too, I can't wait! sadly dad can't come this time but I haven't seen my stepmum since they left for the seychelles so I cannot wait to give her a real snuggle instead of a cyber one!! and Mo will be meeting her in person for the first time ever! he cannot wait to give his grandma a squoosh! 

Isn't Benji just the cutest little guy ever?! he is perfect for my nephew too, he is growing sooo much and is a clever little dude too as he is trying to pull himself up already!! go Ty!!

Right got to go as I am at work tonight! the parents of the chldren I was a nany for are going to rock out at the Bon Jovi concert tonight and are taking Hugo with them so Claudia and I are going to have a girly night. This normally consist of us snuggling up on the settee between 4 dogs and watching 'Anne of green gables' I love it!! been a fav since I was 8 and I still love watching them!

Morning Peeps!

I have an exciting share this morning! I have been itching to get these makes on my blog this weekend and this morning I have buckled in to the temptation!!

There are some new downloads hopefully going into the Funky Hand shop today and they are fabulous. I thoroughly enjoyed playing with them and set myself a challenge for a couple of non- weddingy makes too!!

So the top one just had to be a wedding card with those gorgeous hearts. I cut 2 triangles and the glued them onto my card and added a row of teeny punched flowers down the  join with some teeny blue gems in the centre. The sentiments are cut from another paper in the collection, I snipped them out and then inked around the edge. This card is a cute one at 4x4 size.

this one above uses the new Summer Wedding download and I enlisted the help of the gorgeous flower cake digi for this one too! I coloured it up using my promarkers  and a good old distress and rippy feeling came over me for this one but I love the way it turned out.

and I got manly on this one!! I used the beer tankard digi and coloured it up with my promarkers and then added some woodware fluffy stuff to get a good head on my beer!!

Morning peeps!!!

I love Saturdays!! Saturdays means family time and its also what I call my Little bit of Lou time day- that's the day when I crafty just whatever I fancy!!! and I LOVE it.

So I got totally spoilt on my birthday as you know and this little card has got some of the gorgeous yummies that my bestie sent me for my birthday on it. I am so blessed to have her and she always knows just what to send to make my day awesome.

I wanted to play along with the new challenge over on the LOTV ideas to inspire blog that is to use a sentiment so I tucked that gorgeous scroll in at the top, it just slips under the doily so sweetly, I love it.

I am popping her in the challenge over on the new Creative Romance challenge blog too as thats Anything goes.

I masked off the bottom of my Looking Glass stamp so she would fit snug on that gorgeous doily  and then played around inking the edges of the doily with tattered rose and vintage photo ink, added some yummy blue lace and a string of pearls,spritzed up a big white flower with some blue crafty notions spray and then tucked in some pink roses and then coloured some teeny white roses with my sandstone promarker to get them all to match it. I so LOOOOOVE me some Lou time!!!

right got to scoot, we are going to treat ourselves to a little chippy shop dinner for a treat for Mo. I have saved up all my weeks Weight watchers extra pro points to get a mini chips,fishcake and mushy peas from my friends chip shop, it is by far the best one in Lincoln (the Fish King on the forum, North Hykeham) so if you ever come to Lincoln you know where to go for your chips now!!!! then we are going to take Poppy out for a lovely run on the common ....so I can walk off the chippies.....:)

its time for a brand new challenge over on the Saturated Canary challenge blog and this week we are having a bit of an exciting one!! its a spotlight on Krista's stunning 'Lovely' image. So the challenge is......

so it's anything goes using the new Lovely image!

Now for the details....

Do you ever just love making a card?! well that was me and this one! I just sat down and let myself womble through happily making and lets be honest she is a completely stunning image.

And then of course it was the fiddly add a bit her and there in the way of embellies which I love!! I have had these teeeny roses left over since scott and I got married, I used them on our favour boxes for the ladies, so a few of them got stuck on,then some swooshes and ribbon and pearls and ooooh Loveliness!!!! he he he he!!! 

Ok, that's me today folks!!! I am pooped out!! Poppy and I have had super fun meeting up with her buddies, she missed them so much last week and Mo is super tired out from school after just 2 days back and being unwell bless him so we are going to veg out on the settee and just chill....if Poppy lets us have any room as she got there first!! romfl!!!!

I'm back peeps!! wohooooooo!! 4 and a half lbs off at weight watchers this week! I am sooo happy!!! 

Onto this week’s challenge over on the Passion for Promarkers challenge blog which has been set by Vicky from Team 1 and she has chosen

 “all that glitters” 

A nice easy one again this week, Vicky would like to seem some glitter i.e. glitter glue, stickles, glittery paper, glittery ribbon etc on your cards.    Don’t forget you must use your Letraset products (i.e. promarkers, flex markers, aqua markers, tria markers, metallic markers or neon markers) and of course follow the theme.

I was so excited to make this card because I used my awesome new Silhouette Cameo and the print and cut feature to cut out Jellybug and then a frame form the free files I got with it to mount her on, the little punched frame comes with it to!! I LOVE it!!!

And my glitter comes in the form of this delicious glitter card. I have had it in my stash for sooooooo long but never thought to use it until this challenge so huge thanks you's go to Vicky for that!!

Right got to dash! have a little Mo to sort. he was extremely brave again having his blood taken and the nurse said he was her star patient so that made his day!!
