Hello .......

Papers- MME My Girl.

Morning peeps!!!

I hope you are all having a magnificent monday!!! II'm popping in this morning to share a bit of a cutie with you!!
You know how much I love my Tiddly Inks stamps and this set is growing to be one of my absolute favorites!!

And this little guy was just perfect to go with my new Blueprints 7 die set!! just popping out of that egg he looks like he is saying a super cute Hello!!

I coloured him up with my promarkers and then paper pieced his little eggy shell with a scrap of the same paper pad.

I am really loving experimenting with patterned papers at the minute. I am going for zingy and bright in denial of the colder weather setting in!! and....yup..yesterday we turned the heating on!!!!!

Yesterday I was super brave and took some bits to my brothers cinema to sell as he was having a charity fundraiser event to raise funds for a new projector. I was so excited because I sold a few bits and made a whopping £14! now you might think I am daft but I get so excited about the little things I manage to sell so I have been on cloud 9 since then!!

I will still be at work when this bloggy post goes live so I will pop in on you all this afternoon when I get up!!

huge squishy hugs

Freaky friday...!!!!!

Image- Batty.
Papers- Bo Bunny peacock lane dot.
Dies- Cheery Lynn french pastry doily die.
Memory box wrought iron fence.

Morning Peeps!!
Ooooh its Freaky friday!!! romfl!! now I have to say Friday 13th has never really worried me but I do love the freakiness that goes with it and reading my facebook news feed this morning has made me realize that some of my buddies are quite superstitious!!! Me? I just start the day with my normal smiles and hugs for you all!!!

However...over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog we have a Freaky Friday 13th thang going on!!!!
The Tiddly Inkers have made an awesome post of freaky gorgeousness for you to drool over and...if you leave a comment before Monday, you will have a chance at a special Tiddly Inks surprise!  Now, I don't know what the surprise is, but I have been told it will be filled with lots of Tiddly goodies.

I love the golden oldie gothic Tiddly Inks, they are just amazing (...need more please boss ;)  seriously though they are the images that pulled me into Tiddly Inks like a fish on a line and I still adore them as much all these years later!!! so I just had to print out and colour up Batty. She is GORGEOUS!!
I gave her a good colour up in some freaky colors, keeping her mostly mono with some hints of purple, and then....screwed her up!! yup! I screwed her up and squished her!! then I opened her back up and gave her a light disting of tea dye DI and then took her inside and ironed her flat again!! then there was a good old bit of ripping and distressing edges and she was done!! oooh I am sooo rough!!! lol!!!

I cut a couple of dies out and then stamped and punched out my little Boo sentiment using SU teeny tags and the jewelery tag punch.

I hope you all have a really freaky friday!! thank you for popping in on me!!
huge hugs Lou xxxx

Going a bit La La!!!!

Morning peeps!!!
I still have no Internet.......arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...Scott saw a BT engineer down our street last night on his way home and he asked him to call in if he had time after his job to have a look and the lovely BT engineer did but alas he couldn't fix the problem as he didn't have time but we know where the problem is now in the cab so just need our engineer to come now!!

I have to admit blogging in iPad is tricky as I can't schedule up posts or change piccy sizes and I can't link in but if you go to the dies to die for shop and search for La La Land all these gorgeous bits will come up and as soon as I have Internet back I will linky you all in on this post!!!!! It's the La La land carousel horse shadow box.

I love love loved making this!! The papers on the horse and banners and box are bildmalarna papers. I decided to fill the holes in the frame with the scraps too, I love how that looks. And the is a whole tonne of stardust sticklers on this project. I just remember gorgeous horses and shiny glittery sparkles from carousels when I was little so that was my go to inspiration for this make.

There were a couple of stars left in the frame so I popped them out and added them to the ends of some twine I had threaded through the little plaque and then stamped make a wish on it from a our innocence stamp set. I added a couple of teeny gems on the ends too. It's sooooo cute!!

I am so sorry I haven't been able to pop in on you all for a couple of days but I will be coming round as soon as I get back online properly!!!!! I just know I am missing out on a whole tonne of gorgeousness from you all.

Huge hugs and thankyou's for popping in on me

Passion for pro markers challenge 215... Perfect Pets...

Morning peeps!!
I am blogging form my iPad mini today as we have no Internet at home.......(Lou inserts small whimpers and tears at this point because ya'll know I am a cyber chick!!!!!!)
But all is not lost as after (....after many tears and more small whimpers.....) I have found a blogger app in the App Store!!! So my photo of my make is not its normal Lou-ness as it has been done on my iPad with the Instagram frame app and I can't work out how to hyperlink.....sigh!! But it's a post none the less!!! Romfl!!!

So this weeks challenge over on the Passion for Promarkers challenge blog is set by our Shelley and is Perfect Pets.....which of course for me screamed use an LOTV!!!!!

I absolutely love this stamp,it's just gorgeous and once I had coloured it up using my Promarkers I added a good splodging of antique crackle deco patch. Ooooooh this stuff is fabulous!!! Once it was dry I lightly rubbed over the top with some tea dye distress ink to bring out the cracks a bit more, I hope you can see it with the iPad piccy :(

Well, that's me for today folks!! I am off to stare at my hub and DSL light now in the hope that they come back to life whilst staring out of the window in the hope that a BT engineer turns down the corner of my street to fix the problem.........sigh!!!

Thankyou for popping in on me
Huge hugs Lou xxxx

Vampire Pumpkin.....

Image- Vampire Pumpkin.

Hiyah everyone!! I'm back with another post today! (if you are looking for my Funky Hand hop make please scroll down to the post below!!)

I used the super sweet new Vampire Pumpkin to make a little wall hanging for Mo. He LOVES halloween and it had to be for him as he tried to steal the coloured image twice before I even got it made into anything! cheeky monkey!!!

I coloured him up using my promarkers and tried to get his skin looking all vampirey. It does actualy sparkle but I don't think the camera picked that up, hey ho! he still looks cute!!!

Thank you for popping in on me!!

Tiddly inks challenge 117....Saying Thanks

Morning peeps!!
its time for a new challenge over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and this week we are Saying Thanks!!
so I got out my Kraft card and had a little play with my promarkering on craft obsession!! he he he he!! but she turned out sooo cute!!

I added a little pink twine and then cut the letters out to spell Thanks along the bottom of her kraft mat.

If you want to buy this card you can find it HERE on eBay :)

So its the last day of the holidays for little Mo today :( and we have had a few tears this morning already...I am sure I will be ok for tomorrow..!!lol! but no,in all seriousness it is kinda hard on me when he gets so upset about going to school :( Don't get me wrong I am sure he is ok once he gets on those school gates and into the routine again but suffering with my nerves and being a worrier myself I know only too well how the poor little guy is feeling and I so wish I could take some of that awful anticipation feel away for him. Today will mostly involve spoiling of little guy and snuggling :)

Have an awesome day everyone and thankyou so much for popping in on me!

Oh, the places we will go!!

Stamp- Bye Bye Girl.
Papers- MME My Girl.

Morning everyone! wow another monday already?!!! where did that come from!!! We had a really awesome weekend, not what we had planned being at home but it was just fabulous so it worked out really well!!

Mo was at a party for his best budette yesterday afternoon and had such a good time he fell asleep as soon as his head touched the pillow when we got home ( after I had spent 10 mins trying to get the green facepaint off his face...why doe the green stain skin soooo much!!) Here is the party boy...

and with his best budette Sophia...and that face paint.........

So my card today is a bit of a CAS make!!

I just love this stamp and it has been sat on my stamp drawer for sooo long without me inking it up. All the talk of the little peeps going back to school inspired me to get her out and ink her up!! and I am so glad I did because she is just adorable!!

I coloured her up with my promarkers and then it was time to play with those stunning My Girl papers, oooh they are so lovely I didn't want to cut them up!! but I struggled through with small sighs and closing my eyes as my trimmer cut and my big shot did its thing to turn them into a little card!! he he he he!!

I am going to pop her over in the DP2 Goodbye Summer challenge as she is of course the Bye Bye Girl!! I might even be brave enough to try out for GDT!!

I love that sentiment, its sooo cute!! I can just imagine the determination on her face, tongue hanging out to the side as she pedals along in excitement to get to nursery/school!! I so wish I had a little boy that was excited about school....alas Mo is not and has started to fret already :( Luckily he has his fav cousin Boo to cheer him up today so thats a bonus!! I LOVE that they get to see each other so much.

Right, got to go and get some washing hung out in this gorgeous sunshine.

Huge hugs Lou xxxx

Layer it up and pop it out!!!

Papers from Dreams come true papercraft factory.

Good morning everyone!!
Well I hope you all took advantage of the awesome sale over in the Funky Hand shop?!! if you haven't, here's a little reminder for you.....

and onto my share for today!! its a zingy little number!! lovely cheery colours for the 1st September!!
I popped a little tutorial for this card over on the Get Funky and craft blog so pop over if you fancy peeking in on it!!

We wre going to go to the caravan this weekend but dopey here had got herself all muddled and it the next 2 weekends we can pick from so today we spent at home ( though it wasn't a bad thing as Mo was sooo whacked out from all the fun at twinlakes on friday he was still catching up!!) so a couple of days at home chilling out is on the menu for us now!!
Yesterday Mo decided that his afternoons play activity is selling mummy's cards from our drive sitting in the boot.....sigh... I didn't have the heart to tell him no- one would come but luckily our fabulous next door neighbour, Darren, was busy painting the fence outside and came to buy a couple of bits. Well that made Mo's day and that £3 was the most exciting £3 ever!! he put it in a little pot and carried it around all afternoon!!
Then we walked the furball princess on the viking way and then went off to tesco to get some bits for tea.
Now this is where I love my little guy so much, proud mamma bit coming....!!

So we went to tesco to get bits for tea and he bought Darren some maltesers " to nibble on because he will be hungry doing all that big fence" then when we had finished our tea,mo rushed out of his chair and outside to Darren and asked him if he wanted a cuppa and a chicken salad bap, then he asked me to carry his stool out so he could keep Darren company while he ate so he wasn't alone.....

Well, I had to sneak a quick picture of him! my Ipad doesn't take amazing pictures but I still love to log these little Mo-ments! He is such a special little pickle, 8 going on 40 I am sure!!  he sat out there on that little wicker stool with his Ipad keeping Darren company until 7pm when it was time for bed! when I went to fetch him Darren said Mo had been showing him some dancing too! lol!! I missed that bit!!  Mo is such a funny little dancer!!

Right, I should go. I have waffled on proud mamma waffles enough!!

have an awesome day peeps
huge hugs Lou xxx
