#Die- Namics Smart Phone..........

Good morning all!

I am sorry I am a bit late popping in for you all but I am still on a go slow! I am plodding away on the antibiotics still so hoping they will really kick in soon...!!!! if not I am going to buy an amour plated bra to stop all movement to the booby!!!!!!

Luckily I have an E Bosser so pain is not a problem with the old die cutting! I just pop it in and whizz and oh my gosh!! I cannot tell you how much fun I had with this Die- Namics Smart Phone die set! I  think it is just the bees knees!!!!!

It really doesn't need anything else other than a cut and stick on as all the dies that come with it just rock and the MME cut & paste flair papers were just the right ones for the job!!! I used an extra 'U' from the parker alphabet set just to finish off the reply!! too cute!!

Thank for popping in! I am off for a cuppa now and to attempt to colour. The pain in my right arm is making that near on a no no but I am going to try!!!!!

Mimo Sailor Boy....

coloured with promarkers.
Morning everyone!!
I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend.

My make for you all today features the super cute new little Sailor Boy from Bildmalarna, I just had to buy him as soon as I saw him. I just love him.

I coloured him up with my promarkers and then mounted him on some kraft card and then it was time to play with those stroke only 'An Ocean of Strawberries' Bildmalarna papers, they are just wonderful. I chose a couple of the beach themed ones, mounted them on kraft too and added them to my little gable end box with some gardeners tape, twine and the cutest lifesaver charm ever ( ...that I can't find in the shop to link for you..sob sob!!!)

Well, thats me for today! I will be at work until 7am and then slinking under my duvet to sleep it all off!!! have a lovely day everyone!!

Football birthdays!!!

Morning peeps!!!
Its the time of month again for our 'Forgotten Funkies' showcase!!! each month the fabulous Funkettes are over on our blog showing off some new makes with our older downloads/cd's.

Today's showcase is centred all around the gorgeously funky and zingy 'Colour Me Happy papercraft factory' cd rom. Just look at these stunning papers, 276 of them and 35 resizable digi stamps!!! It is cram packed full of delicious papers and digital images along with a fabulous workspace platform for you to work with them in before you print them out.... so they are most definitely too good to be forgotten!!!

Colour Me Happy

So at £6.99 for the cd rom its a blooming bargain!!!!

For my make I decided to go boy!! lol! I resized the sporty balls digi to as big as I could get in in the workspace and then sized up the 1 to match the size of the ball using the 'order' buttonwhich lets you pop one layer on top of another ( I love that function! its fab for layering up the papers before you print them out!!) then I chose 2 papers. Now the good thing about the workspace is that all the colours of the alpha's co-ordinate with whatever colourway you have chosen...perfick!!!!

I cut out my matting pieces and then added a squidge of 'so holographic it actually makes your head spin' paper just peeking through in a small layer and the job was done. A quick but really eye catching card me thinks. I just need some poor unsuspecting football mad little boy to push it upon now!! lol!!! I am sure there will be one out there somewhere!!

Thank you for popping in!! don't forget to hop on over to the Get Funky DT blog to peek at all the fabulous makes, those girls know how to rock a showcase!!

I added a couple of cuts of the heart stems and rolled daisy around them too. Here's another piccy of them in their little loved up scene!! lol!!
Right, time to pootle off! I have another one of these gorgeous boxes on the go (..with the same stamp!! lol!!) and I want to get that all finished up this morning whilst I wait in for little Mo's iPad to return from having the glass fixed!

PD_LOGO_MASTER

So I just had to use my lovely supercute gorgeous new Time Flies stamp from LOTV for my make and of course, when I went to the shop to buy them on the birthday open day my stamps were put into this gorgeous little kraft LOTV bag! so that was what got recycled!!! along with a takeaway coffee cup wrap!! (piccies below of before I attacked them!!!).

Here's a closer piccy of my coloured image...
awwwww, isn't she just soooo cute!! she actually has a bit of sparkle on her dandelion clock but the disaster that is Lou taking a photo just couldn't capture it!

Then it was time to add some gorgeous papers and die cuts from the coffee cup wrapper to make my flowers and hearts and hey ho!! it was done!! Here is a piccy of my bag and coffee cup wrap looking rather less gorgeous than they do now (..yes, they did have a word with me about showing them without their make up on but I assured them they looked so much better now!!! he he he!!)

Right, I am off for a cuppa. I am still a squidge tired from yesterday's no sleep but oh my was sports day just magical!! Mo absolutely loved it and we absolutely loved being able to share it with him. If I could only put into words how awesome Mo's school is for you all I would be happy to..however it would be the longest blog post in the entire world!!!! Its not often you find a school that strives to make every single day your children are at school child centered and so much fun. Its sadly a dying tradition here in the UK as schools seem to be leaning more and more towards constant testing of those precious formative years in a childs life. I am super grateful that Mo's school are the way they are, which frankly reeps way more benefits in the childrens learning than any other school I have seen! The children have SAT's but those too are done in the most wonderful way. Can y'all tell I am soooo happy Mo is there?!!!

Right, kettle boiling! have a wonderful day everyone!

So today I am very excited to share the new 'Wash It All Away' download from Funky Hand. Its a gorgeously classic gruney and distressed papers download and I LOVE it!!!

I had a very special little guys birthday card to make a few weeks ago and it was just perfect for it.

I love getting the most from my digital papers so I go for a range of things when I am playing with them!! I print them out, I import them into my Sil Designer edition software, I cut them out with my sil machine!! oooh the fun you can have with digi papers is totally endless!!!
I turned my little shoes into a little hanging for roo. I love making cards but sometimes it feels sooo good to do something different. I made a matching little box too!!...

A pion shoe...yes please!!!

Morning everyone!!!

I bet you all sigh when you get to monday and you know its Lou posting day!!! but oooooh I had so much fun making my DT make for today!!

I had some very extremely stroke only Pion Designs papers to use ( link up under the first photo) and the 12x12 sheet of deliciousness was way too gorgeous to just plomp on a card Lou style I decided I just had to go for something more oh la la!!!

I used a shoe cutfile I have had for a while and went for it. I am not sure I have ever been so careful with a piece of cardstock as I was with this one! I did the entire shoe and all its decoration with one sheet and had enough left over to make a matching tag!! go me!!!

The little pearly stamens and the brown organza ribbon are from my Lou stasheroo. Here's the back of the shoe...
And here's underneath. I used my sil DE software to make the age look like a continental shoe size and the name look like a shoe designer!! lol!! daft Lou!!!
Thank you for popping in!! I am still at work as this posts but will be home and snuggled in bed in an hour or so!!! I finish at 7am!!! bath and snuggles with Mo then bed!!! Scott is driving Mo to school this morning so I can just relax and not worry about being sooo sleepy on the school run,it worries me greatly driving when I am so tired so Scott has jiggled his work hours, he's a super star!

Tiddly Inks new release and SALE!!!!!

Papers- Bo Bunny Vicky B collection pack.
Morning everyone!!
I am so excited today because I have been so desperate to share this card for a couple of weeks now!!!
The stamp is from the Tiddly Inks new release for today and there are sooooo many cute ones, you will neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed them all!!!

I had fun masking a few of the stamps together, thats the magic of clear stamps and I love it!! First I wanted the sentiment quite big so using the digi Monkey around set, I played around with its size and then printed the sentiment onto my image piece. Then it was a case of stamping the stamps around where I wanted those uber cute lil monkey and wryn stamps. I love combining media to get to where I need to be!!!

Right, got to go walk the pooches and then get some bits done before work tonight!!

Miss Personality......

Image- 'Miss Personailty' from Saturated Canary.
3D Box Calendar file- Lori Whitlock.
Morning everyone!!

Its time for another Facebook challenge on the Saturated Canary Stamps page and this time we will be showcasing the gorgeous 'Miss Personailty' image.

I have to say this is one of my favourite kinds of challenge because I get so excited to see how the same image can be used so differently by everyone and I just LOVE to nosey in on all those different styles, its just awesome to see.

I decided to treat myself to a little box calendar. I have always wanted to make one of these and saw Lori Whitlock's in the sil store and was on it like a hotcake!!!! How cute is it?!!! I love it!!

I added a couple of my fav flowers. I adore these Prima Powder puffs, they are just divine and soooo soft too, its like a snuggle and a flower all in one!! he he he!! but sooo cool for a bit of pop and pow too.

Everything you need for the calendar comes in the file and its just so easy and fun to put together. I had a total blast making this.

Right, off for a cuppa now, I have a few crafty bits to do today as Mo is in the loom band zone sat next to me so we are going to craft together!!!!

Have a wonderful day everyone, thank you so much for popping in on me
