Morning peeps!!!!!
It is a glorious sunn day here in Lincoln (which is fab !!) I am sooo pleased it is sunny at the moment because at midnight tonight I will be walking 6 miles for charity. Lincoln is a lovely little historic town but oh boy do we have some steep hills to climb tonight!!! I don't mind though because it is for a really good charity so me doing a bit of a womble is no trouble at all!!!! Check out my giving page here
My friend Sharon asked me to make a silver annivesary card for her so here it is!! The picture was really hard to take as it is miri card and no matter how I tried to take it everything around the card kept shining beautifully!!!!!
I used my wedding solutions cart to make this one along with the 25 being cut from my storybook cart. I made myself a gatefold card with my scorepal and I used some gorgeous silver mirri card from my stash and embossed it in my cuttle bug with divine swirls for the front panels. A little bit of blingy ribbon went just right on the front. I raided my anitas gems for a bit of bling and computer generated the sentiment inside. I think it turned out really pretty.
Wish me luck for tonight and please no rain!!!!!!!!! lol!!!!
Hi Lou- Good luck for this evening. Another beautiful card. I am told by a photographer friend that to takes pics of mirror cards you need to take them inside a light cube/box and the lens of the cmaera just poking through a slit in the cube so there is nothing to reflect. Easier said than done unless your a professional but thought I would impart the info!
ReplyDeleteLovely card I am sure it will be cherished.
Oh Lucy this is stunning1 Love the gatefold and the heart along with the gorgeous Mirri. I agree it's so hard to photograph!
ReplyDeleteGood luck tonight and I hope the weather stays nice and dry for ou!

I think that's beautiful! I have made a few mirriboard cards and have typically found them hard to photograph.
