Well its definately birthday time for our family at the moment!!!! i have made so many birthday cards recently bt i don't mind, i love it!!!!Today is my oldest nephews birthday. I used a lily-boo's circle boys for this one as Devon enjoys his foootball. I covered a couple more beermats with some blue paper, I needed the card to be sturdy as I wanted to attach 5 one pound coins onto it!! ( they are hidden under the little football stamps on vellum!!) I coloured the little footballer with my new promarkers ( i am still playing!!!) and then added some litle wooden letter stickersfrom the stash!!!!!I cannot believe Devon is 11, it doesn't seem that long since he was playing at aunty Lou's on a saturday zooming around my house in his baby walker!!!!
oh no, in my rush to get this on my blog i didn't realise i had forgotten to write about the challenge i have entered this card in!!!! I made this one with the allsorts challenge blog latest challenge in mind. This time it is for a boys birthday/male birthday, pop over and take part yourself everbody!!! Just right for me as I feel like i have been making boys cards for ages!!!!!
Thankyou for dropping by!! xxx

Hi Lou
ReplyDeleteWhat a great card - fab idea to use 'beer mats' and to disguise the coins with footballs - well done. My son will be 11 this month also and he too loves his football so might have to 'borrow' this idea lol!!!
