Tiddly Inks Friends are the Flowers of Life blog hop!!

My make today is a get well card. There is nothing that cheers me up more when I am sick than cards from people! they just lift my spirits and my day and its amazing how much better you feel when you know people are wishing you well.


I coloured her up with my promarkers and made a yummy card base from my MME papers then added some extra stamps ( magnolia swirl and kelly pannicci stitching is always good!!!), lace and made a little heart embelly on my cricut using my george cart.

    Hey Lou, I was so excited to see your project, and I am not at all disappointed. So awesome. Love that little heart chippy with the ribbon through it! Those magnolia swirls look like they could have been doodled by Christy herself, wonderful match.

    Oh Lou, this is just sooo cute. This card would certainly pick me up if I were ill. So glad you included the info on the swirl and stitching stamps as my eyes picked up those awesome little details. I can stamp but not so good at the sewing. Happy Hopping!

    Lou, i chose the same image as you did, i also came to the shop site to look at how the image was colored, because i wasn't sure about the hair by the ear being bandaged, and your coloring really helped me "see" that section. I also admired your card at that time and it's nice to see it here...it's gorgeous! Oh and did you stamp the flourish edges of the card or is that the way the paper came?

    I love the subdued colours of this card - perfect for a "get well soon" card. I also love the Tiddly Inks images and this one is just too cute! The card came out beautifully!
