Hippo cuteness.........

Image- Holly's Hippo from Tiddly Inks.
Tree - Magnolia tree from Doo Hickey 2.

Morning all!! It's a Tiddly Tuesday kinda day for me! I so had to sit on my hands all weekend not to share this one!! I LOVE how cute it is! Did you all see the gorgeous new images in the Tiddly Inks shop? they are just too cute and who can resist a hippo?....Not me that's for sure!!!

I used the plain version of Holly's little hippo for this because I knew I wanted to stick a little heart on its butt!!!

This year I am doing Scott a different kind of advent calendar. We have had such a strange year with everything and he has been my absolute rock and such an amazing support. So this year I am doing him a little '25 things I want to thank you for' tag advent calendar. I will give him a tag everyday to peg onto a little line of twine and each tag will have an extra tag at the back for me to write on. The first one will be so special so Hippo just had to be my first one.

Right, I need to get my butt into gear. We are all so snotty from this yucky virus that is hanging around, it's just awful, so we are all struggling to get going in a morning at the minute! juts call us the family of snot!!!

Thank you for popping in, huge hugs Lou xxxx

Mummu Dancing (Pre-coloured)...

For Mini Lightbox- printable acetate

Hi everyone! It's Lou in for you today with a make using one of my absolute favourites of Maurie's characters, Mummu. She is just such a magical character and she is one of those images that feels so much like a 'real' person to me when I colour her she just comes alive!!.....BUT WAIT!!!!!!!! I totally didn't need to colour her because this little gem of a Mummu comes pre-coloured!!

Yup, Maurie already did all the hard work for us on this cutie so if you are a print and go kinda crafter, she is just perfect for you. This is what she looks like in the shop....
Isn't she fabulous?!!! All I needed to do was add some gorgeous snwy shaery bits for her to get her winter dance on!! sooooo sweet!! So, Lou you love colouring, why do you need her pre-coloured you ask?!!!...... why did I need her pre-coloured??? well, my first make was for my super cute mini lightbox!!

I printed Mummu Dancing (pre-coloured) with her sentiment onto my fabulous printable acetate! oh I love this stuff so much! and of course, it's just perfect for mini lightboxes because it's easy to trim to make my own bits to slide into it! wahoooooooo!!!!

I can't wait to try a few more of the pre- coloured images the same way now!! it's so much fun to customise this little lightbox!!! Thank you for popping in, hugs Lou xxx

Elphaba.......

Image- Elphaba.
Chippie frame- Delicate Love Rectangle.
Hi everyone!

I'm popping in before I zonk out in bed. Herceptin injection this week and a lovely busy weekend have caught right up with me and I feel like a zombie!!! I've got a snuggly warm wheaty bag on my knee as I type and I can feel the zzzzzz's tapping on my shoulder but I just had to share my MIC gals make for today!!! she's too cute to leave sat on my crafty table alone!!!

I decided to alter a little notebook from a pack of 3 I 'needed' to buy in Lidl a few weeks ago!! ...of course, I will probably never be able to make myself write in this little notebook so I don't spoil it but I did so enjoy making it.

That little Delicate Love Rectangle frame is just so beautiful to work with and Elphaba is just too sweet. I coloured her up a little while ago and have been hoarding her ever since!! he he!!!

If you are quick, make sure you pop into the Make it Crafty store before the offer ends!!! there are around 21 hrs left to get 20% off store wide.

Right, the zzzzz's are in full force now so I'm going to go before I end up drooling all over my pooter keyboard!!! Thank you for popping in on me, huge hugs Lou xxxx

Elf Delivery Service......

Morning all!

I need to pop out in a little while so I thought I would share a little Tiddly Tuesday make with you before I go! and oh my....is this lil guy too cute?! I know he is!!!

I fancied playing a little with dimension and a lot of white and the Lawn Fawn Puffy cloud border die and scrumptious White Opal liquid pearls just rocked that for me. I lightly distress inked the edges of my little snowdrifts so they stood out and added a little foam tape for extra pop-ness!!!

I couldn't resist some little sprigs of festive holly for the corners of my little image matt piece and the little bell holly sprigs in the Christmas Wishes clear stamp set were too sweet to pass up on using. A splodge of colour and a fussy cut later and they were added to finish off the card. Sometimes CAS without a tonne of papers used is just so much fun.

Right, I need to scoot. Thank you for popping in, hugs Lou xxx

Merry Christmouse....

Magnolia tree from Doo Hickey 2.

Morning everyone!

Well, I could waffle on and on about my make this morning but seriously the only words that keep coming to mind are 'squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee' and 'so Caaaaaauuuuuuute!!!!!'. I had the best fun making it with my scrummy new  Lawn Fawn Scalloped box card die, and check out those super cute little baubles on the sentiment!! I made those using the new Roxstamps star ornament dies.

I loved making his little scene too. The Lawn Fawn Puffy cloud border made such fun little snowdrifts for him to nestle on to. The trees are from my Doo Hickey 2 set from Magnolia, I cut them in green and kraft cardstock to make them 'pumf' out a bit and added a little puffy white embossing powder to them for snow. Ooohhh I did love making this card soooo much!!! I love a krafternoon like that!!

I was so excited to see all the wonderful new christmas images, it was a bit like being a child in a sweetie shop trying to choose one! and don't forget, there is 15% off until December 1st!!
winter-2017-fb-pic.png
Right, I need to get a wriggle on. I have got a bit of pain in my left axilla and ribs so I've snaffled up some tablets and got dressed......into my fleecy pj's that my BF's got me in february when I had my op!! they are so comfy and I'm positive no one will notice on the school run! then it's back home for a bit more crafting fun!

Thank you for popping in,Huge Hugs Lou xxxx

Second prize:  2 Christmas Mini Packs of 6x6 Paper of the winners choice from  The Ribbon Girl

I have so sat on my hands for sharing my make with you because it was my mum's birthday card from last month but you know...you've got to be careful with those stroke only papers!! he he!!!

...and my next use soooooo carefully thing has to be the gorgeous Lucy's carnation sparkly shaker selection, I absolutely adore this shaker stuff! it's all mixed for you so you literally just have to add it to your shaker project! wahooooooooo! no mixing up your own fiddly bits and spilling half of each pot all over the place!!!!

Of course, Balloon Bunny from LOTV is just the cutest stamp too! I actually coloured this stamp in for my mum while I was in hospital with neutropenic sepsis all the way back in April. I think she'll love it because she knows how much I love bunnies!!

Nurse Tilda........

Papers- Maja Designs Vintage Spring Basics 6x6.

Morning everyone!

I couldn't resist sharing the make I have just got finished using my gorgeous 13 days of halloween kit from Magnolia again for a quick make this morning!

Before I forget to mention it, the dies from this set are limited edition so don't miss out on them if you neeeeeeed them! he he!! You can find the Get Well stamps and dies singly HERE or you can get the whole set HERE.

I used the little flag banner from the Doo Hickey 16 Fall in love set and then the teeny hearts are from the Heart Medicine die. They were left over from my make yesterday and way too cute not to squidge in somewhere!! they would make super sweet litle shaker card shakies too wouldn't they?!!!

Right, I had better brave the chilly sunshine and go and walk Tyson. Mo is immersed in a Narnia film morning. After watching the Dawntreader last night, he has decided he needs to watch them all again!!! I do love that he loves the good films though, the classics are always the best.

Thank you for popping in, huge hugs Lou xxx

Get Well Soon............

Seam Binding-Pink Tulip.

Ooooooh get me! 2 posts in one day!! lol!!! but I couldn't resist sharing the make I have just got finished using my scrumtious 13 days of halloween kit from Magnolia.
I always order my Magnolia bits from Suha over at Swedish Housecrafts and I have been so excited to use this Tilda stamp because she has bunny slippers and anyone who knows me will know I love my bunnies!!

There were so many gorgeous bits in this kit, like millions!! but don't worry if you missed it because all the bits have been released now. You can buy them singly HERE or you can get the whole set HERE.

I LOVED this little bottle! I cut it out in white cardstock and kraft cardstock and then once I had glued all those gorgeous little heart pills on I gave it a good coat of glossy accents to make it look like a real bottle!! Before it was fully dry I gave it a gentle 'bend' in the middle to get the 'shine' effect on the glass. Then it was just a case of layering it up with the little heart tablets and cotton wool cloud. It's soooo cute!!!

Right, I promise that's it for today!! I am going to go and cook tea now (...well, I'm going to heat it up anyway, I cooked chicken and bacon stew in the slow cooker yesterday! yum!!).

hank you for popping in again! huge hugs Lou xxx

Autumny Hedghog.............

Hi everyone!!

I hope you are all having a wonderful week so far? I am having a bit of a funny one as Little Mo has been given a meds change for his ADHD and it's always a worrying time for me when they do that since the last time they tried set him on such a wobble. The first day was very hard for him but I think he is doing ok now, though he says he feels that he doesn't feel as settled on them as he would like. I just feel lucky that he can tell us what he thinks to them so we know how to help.

Anywhoooo!! to keep me busy I treated myself to a teeny weeny bit of fun! I bought myself the new Tim Holtz Sizzix sidekick starter set. Ooooh and I have to say, Janice and Andy at Sir Stampalot must of known how excited I was about it as I ordered it Tuesday afternoon and it was here by Wednesday afternoon!!! and boy oh boy! it is every bit as wonderful as I knew dreamy Tim Holtz said it would be!! of course, it would of been rude not to baptise this little beauty today!! I have named it 'Little Cuteness' !!!

It is absolutely blooming perfect for my many small dies, especially the scrumptious ones in my  Doo Hickey club 16- Fall In Love set, so a few rolls of the little cuteness later and I had all the bits I needed to get making this super cute little hedgie tag. And even more of a bonus, I could do it all sat at my desk because I didn't need space to get down on the floor to get my big shot out! wahoooooooooooooooooooooooo for the little cuteness!!!

I popped a little glossy accents on my toadstool and conker as well as the teeny nose and eye on my hedgie. It was a super way to work out some mamma worrying time! I am not sure what I fancy doing for the next 50 mins before I go to fetch Mo. I have a couple of things I need to get finished off (...utter lack of attention this week from team Lou!!!) so I think I'll set to finishing off one of those!! lol!!

Thank you for popping in, huge hugs Lou xxxx

Irma..........

Image- Irma.

Hi everyone!

I'm just sat at my pooter in my little inside crafty room and I thought I would share my  'just because I felt like it' kinda make I have just finished up! do ya'll ever get those days where you just want to make something simple and sweet? yup, that was me tonight for this card.

Little Mo was sat making his card for Scott's birthday for tuesday and I felt a bit like doing something too. I had the gorgeous little Irma printed out already, such a sweet heart. She comes with 2 fabulous sentiments but I just couldn't decide which one I liked more for this card so I've left it off for now!! lol!!

I love those swooshes of Stitched Flourishes from Paper Smooches. They were so easy to just splodge on and add a bit of swoosh around her!! too cool!!

I got the gorgeous Project Life 'Adventurer Edition' paper pad a couple of weeks ago from TK Maxx and they were just perfect for a windy day kinda movement card! and by the time Little Mo had finished his card, I was done with this one!!

I've had a lovely little weekend after being struck by a horrid virus this week! On saturday I got to go to a wonderful crafty class with my gorgeous friend ,Lou,we made the sweetest little woodland friends box and of course... I've had to order the die to make a few more of my own!!! it's so sweet! and for even more of a treat on saturday, me and Lou then popped into the cafe and got to have a wonderful catch up with the beautiful Fleury. I really enjoyed getting a bit of time with them both as we haven't had a catch up for so long.

And today we've just been pootling along in our little family bubble and not doing too much at all really because I've managed to pass my virus on to Little Mo and he is so snotty and headachey bless him. I feel so rotten but I hope he feels a bit better after an easy day.

Right, I'm going to get my pj's on and snuggle down in bed now. Thank you so much for popping in on me. Huge hugs Lou xxxx

Tiddly Inks challenge #207....Friends and Family...

Stamp- Mini and many friends
(available in digital format HERE.)

It's time for another fun challenge over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog and it's time to feel thankful for all the love we have around us everyday. This month the Tiddly Inkers want you to think.....

Friends and Family!

So think on makes for your friends and family!!

(**remember...We love to see any new creation, a card, 3D project, journal page etc
but you must use a Tiddly Inks stamp or image **)

I decided to go with one of my favourite ever stamp sets, Mini and Many friends, for those uber cute lil critters!! who wouldn't want a super sweet lil rabbit and hedgehog to be BFF's right?!!! (Now, they aren't available in clear stamp at the moment but pop to the store and add them to your wishlist and if enough peeps 'neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed' them and do that maybe Christy will get some made up for you!! he he!!! If you can't wait, just go right HERE and get them in digital format!!!)

I stamped them in Memento Rich Cocoa for a softer edge for when I coloured them up. I totally suck at no line colouring so softer ink colours like the browns are more in my comfort zone-aroo!!!

I have been especially lucky to have all my wonderful friends around me this year so this card goes to you all for the love, support and general Lou's big girl pants feelings you have all given me as I've pootled along with my hunchtit of notredame!!! All my beautiful messages, emails and happy mails have lifted me up in so much love I am sure I could conquer anything thrown at me.

Thank you for popping in on me, huge hugs Lou xxxxxx

Lou........

Image- Lou.
Papers- Pebbles 'Spring Fling'.
Dies- Acorn leaf from Doo Hickey vol 16.

Morning everyone!

I'm in with my Dream Team make this morning and it just had to be a Lou make for you today!! he he!!! but this little fawn is oh my days so cute I couldn't resist another make with her/him.

Luckily I coloured up a batch of 4 when I printed her/him out. Do you do that? I always arrange and print out 4 on a page and then colour them all up. I always use one right away and then just store the other 3 for another day.

All I needed to do with this cutie was fussy cut it out so I could pop it on a lovely circle to make it really pop from the card base. I absolutely love these papers I chose for this one. I tried to pick out the more autumnal colours from the pad even though it's a spring one really!!

The teeny little acorn leaf is just my favourite 'add in' right now!! It's from the beautiful Doo Hickey vol 16 Fall in love die set. I've cut a whole stash out and just keep tucking them in all over the place when I make stuff!!!!

Right, I must scoot, time for sorting out small men for school!

Thank you for popping in, hugs Lou xx

Geeky Rascal Box Sleigh....

Chipboard word- Wishes 3" from MIC.
Evening all!!

I'm just sat here in my little crafty room watching all the fireworks go off around our house from various neighbours around the estate and I thought I would share my DT make for the wonderful new Make it Crafty 'GLOW' colouring challenge.

It's so nice to see the colouring challenge back in action again. I love how it stretches those colouring goals! and this one was no easy one for me!! It kinda dragged me kicking and screaming out of my colouring skills zone but I made it in the end! my first go was hilarious and my little dude looked like he was busting right out of a firework or explosion!!! bwah ha ha ha!!

And off course, those gorgeous Mini pack 'wonderland' 6x6 from the ribbon girl and a good old splish of White cheesecloth for snow finished it off quite perfectly. I do love a super fun card make.

Right, I am off to get some toast for tea and take my aspirin tablet. I am now on control week 2 of the Add Aspirin trial for my hospital. I think I am doing ok with the aspirin so far. I have had to start taking my omeprazole again because it makes me feel a little bit fuzzy like indigestion and I am keeping a mega good eye on me to make sure my tummy is ok. I am so happy to at least try to help out and give a little back in the name of research to see if aspirin could help prevent/slow down the return of some cancers for people. I know it's only a teeny thing to do but it's a something.

Thank you for popping in on me, hugs Lou xxx
