Millie with watering can....

Hello everyone!

Did you all catch the gorgeous new image over at Mo's Digital Pencil store? this is Millie with watering can and she is waaaaaay too cute!! She also comes with 2 adorable sentiments, just look at her cuteness!!

Millie with Watering Can
Isn't she the sweetest? she is...of course with Lou kindness....clickable so if you click on her, it will take you right to her in the store!! yey!!!

Mothers Day here has come and gone so I decided on a sweet little Lots of love card ( I love these because they are good for all sorts of occasions!! not just a birthday maker here!! lol!!!).

I've had a bit of an emotional afternoon watching out for one of my BF's Hubbies finishing the London marathon. I put on the live finishing line feed and we got so excited when we saw him coming up to it...I have to admit to having a bit of an emotional cry! what a blooming achievement to do that marathon. Massive well-done hugs go to Carl.

Right, I need a bath and a bit of tea. It's not been very warm here today so I am more than ready to soak in a bit of warmness!!!

Thank you for popping in on me, Huge hugs Lou xx

Dream.....

Image- Dream.
Hello all!!

I'm sneaking in my Dream Team post again!!! Today, I went for using the wonderful Dream. I used the boy version, I love this little guys eyes looking up, so magical.

I used my square nesties to crop of his little legs (poor guy!!) so I could fit it onto this card for my Father in Law for fathers day. I know when it gets closer to Fathers Day I might feel a little tender this year and Scott's Dad is so wonderful I didn't want him to miss out if my mojo gets a grief crash so I have gone for making it super early in preparation.

We've had such a magical easter weekend so far. Lots of walking which we love, Little Mo finding his hidden rocks, which he absolutely loves so huge thanks to everyone who does that!! and he was so inspired by his happiness that he wanted to make one for his best little friend because...in his words... "I neeeed to make Khloe a pebble to fulfil her dreams". This is his first go so he was so excited.
Right, I need to go outside and watch the little guy play on his electric motorbike now. Wish me luck...It's warm and I am a little tired so I may fall asleep while he's riding round!!! romfl!!!!

choccy egg box decorating fun!!

Good morning everyone,

I'm in with a post for you today and I wanted to share the divine little Laserowe Love Yellow Spring 5pcs Easter Eggs I've been playing with. I can't tell you how lovely these are. They might be for easter, as I've used them for today's post, but I really feel like they are beautiful all year round with those beautiful flowers in the centre. I'm working on the whispy branch one next so I'll share that in our fabulous Swedish House Crafts Crafters Lounge over on facebook! don't forget to click on the link to join us if you are not already there because we get to peek at makes and inspiration early in there!

Let's take a closer look at this little egg. It's so pretty. I used 2 of the eggs in the set and then glued them together once I had coloured them. I love that staggered dimensional effect doing it like that gave.

I simply coloured the little chippie egg cuteness with my promarkers. The surface of the chippies is lovely and smooth and you are able to blend your normal colour sets to get the shading which I love.

I added a teeny squidge of flowersoft from my personal stash to the little branch egg and one the flower one, I added a little purple glitter and glossy accents to the flower head to finish that off. It looks so pretty.

The beautiful gentle purple papers are from the Maja Design Vintage Romance 6x6 pad. They are so delicate and I really struggled to actually use them after much stroking and telling myself how they needed to be used, I distressed the edges with my scissors and glued them to the box!!! he he!!!

I added a little twine that I threaded through the egg chippie before I tied the bow just to keep everything flowing. I used a little bit of clear glue to position the ends of the bow on the box.

The little box of chocolate eggs you can get from lots of shops so quick, go buy some and have fun decorating it for easter!!! I'm going to get a couple more and have some fun with them!!

Thank you for popping in on me, huge hugs Lou xxx

Precious new baby....

Sentiment- Precious.
Image inside- Baby Fairy Kiki.
Papers- Nitwit Collections FQB Bear Necessities.

Good morning everyone!!

I'm popping into blogland with my Dream Team make for the week and today I've gone all inside out!! he he!!! I really fancied showcasing one of Mo's beautiful sentiments that came with the image Precious. I really love the script and precious new baby part because let's be honest, when have you ever seen a new baby that isn't so precious you just wanted to sniff that baby smell and look at it tiny feet????

Now, I have to be honest, that sentiment on the front alone made a beautiful card but I wasn't done yet!! I popped the little Baby Fairy Kiki inside so she is a surprise when you open it...

She is just so very cute!!! I actually picked up the wrong paper and didn't realise until too late that my promarkers didn't blend quite as well as I would normally like them to on her but I still love how she came out. I added a little sparkle in a few places too...and actually managed to get a photo of it by fiddling around with the angle of my card under the light! get in!!

So my wrist ganglion removal op went well. I watched the whole thing. It was so interesting! I'm a bit sore and soooooooooooooo itchy from my stitches but I'm pootling along ok and in just over a week I'll be able to go dressing free and hopefully, those pesky stitches will have dissolved away!!! this is how I am looking right now, though the bruising is looking much better as I write this so that's always a bonus!!

The surgeon is re referring me back to my Dr though as he thinks I actually have carpal tunnel in that wrist too!! I never do things easy right?!!! lol!!! but for now, I'm just concentrating on letting this heal. I am having to miss out certain moves in my workouts, like anything that I would need to lean on my hand's for...push ups. mountain climbers, squat thrusts...I never thought I'd say it but I miss them greatly!!!...I'll not be saying that as soon as I can do them again though!! lol!!!

Right, time to go! I need to walk these pawsy peeps one by one before Scott goes to work!! I can only walk them one at a time because I am not allowed to use my left wrist for 6 weeks (...though I think it will be sooner). It's a shorter walk than they normally have because I have to do it twice but helps to keep my exercise up whilst I'm not getting my full routine in as normal though so it's a winner!!

Colin...

 Image- Colin.
Morning everyone!

Its Lou in with a post for you today featuring the gorgeous little Colin. Last week my little guy got his necklace in the mail for my Dad's ashes and it came in this white little pizza box type box. Obviously, I stole that little box right away..... I asked him politely if I could use it for a crafty project....lol!!!!

But I really love how it turned out. I covered it was some blue design paper and then added a little Lou froo. I cut Colin out with a star die because it's so much fun to use those different shaped dies now and again!

Here's another peek of a different view...

I had the most lovely day yesterday. It started with a wonderful walk with the dogs and men of the house. Little Mo found a rock that had been hidden ( he loves these!! do you have them where you live? people decorate rocks and then hide them for others to find. Mo spots them a mile off, its quite magical and always makes his day!) and then it was time to spend a few hours with my sisters and their children. I LOVE family day.

We ate sweets, cake, pizza, crisps and peanuts. We played one of my nephew's games, talked about Dad and just had a lovely catch up IRL. We always chat in messages, Facetime and whatts app but IRL gives the best hugs. It always pops my heart into fullness to see them.

Right, time for me to go and walk pawsy peeps while Daddy and Mo have breakfast. It's half term but Scott is at work until so a little Daddy Mo time together is just perfect.

Thank you for popping in, Hugs Lou xxx

Mo's Digital Pencil challenges are back!!!!

Good Morning all!!

Well, I've got my cake I'm making for tomorrow crumb coated, walked the pawsy peeps and got tidied up a little so I can write my blog post for today now and boy oh boy am I excited!!!

The challenges are back up and running over at Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge blog. I am so so happy about this because I can't tell you how much I've missed them being on the blog. I absolutely love visiting peoples blogs and makes so I can't wait to see some entries coming in!!!

The challenge is...Anything goes with an optional 'spring' theme if you want to do that. I totally did!! I had an idea for making that feel of the colours of spring coming in by using my magic colour slider card die again. It's so much fun to play with and with a little printable acetate, it's an absolute dream to use digital images for them!! I LOVE it!!!

Right, I need to get some green and blue buttercream made before I sit down to watch my beautiful friend Becky on the TV!! I'm so excited for her but feel a bit nervous for her too!! she is going to be on Hochanda so tune in at 11am if you can!!!

Thank you for popping in, Huge hugs Lou xxx

cock a doodle do! Happy birthday to you!!

Morning everyone!!!

I'm in with my Swedish House Crafts post for you today. I was so pleased to get this super little Laserowe Rooster on The Fence in my DT package this month. Isn't he just so majestic? I fell in love with him as soon as I saw him.

Being chipboard he was super easy to colour with my promarker pens. For Mr Rooster I used burgundy, cardinal red and poppy, mustard, burnt orange, burnt sienna, caramel, olive green, pear green, midnight blue and denim blue. I decided to use his little fence for him to stand on too. I coloured that up with my favourite brown promarker colour combo- Burnt sienna, Caramel and sandstone. The chipboard is smooth yet allows for the colours to blend together which I just love. Let's take a closer look at him...

The stunning papers are, of course, from Maja Designs, these ones are from the Vintage Romance 6x6 paper stack. I really love how you can use them for any occasion and this time I went for a good old birthday card for a male. Men cards can be so hard but when you've got a rooster and some stunning papers you are good to go!!!

I needed a great sentiment to go on this card so I simply made my own in Word and then cut it out with some dies from my stash. It's such a fun birthday sentiment.

hehe!!! isn't it fun? I used a teeny weeny brad to attach it to the card base. I did a little Lou froo with some dies from my stash and called it done! I love how it came out.

Right, I need to get my bottom into gear!! I have a cake to decorate for the family day on Sunday. I can't wait. My big sister is coming with her family and we are going to my little sister's house to have some time togther...ok...so mostly we are going to eat cake but it will be fun!!!! Scott is going to take his camera and tripod so we can get a family photo. Family photo's have become quite important to me since Dad died and although we are all completely bonkers and quite terrible at group photo's, I do still adore them!!

Thank you for popping in, Huge hugs Lou xxxx
