Mo's Digital Pencil merging fun!!!

Good Morning All!!

I'm in for you today and I have a super sweet little make using the new Bethy's Wagon set (PNG) and Belated Birthday Sloth and Peeking Sloth.

I absolutely adore merging images and the new PNG version of Bethy's Wagon is an absolute dream to play with. It is cram packed full of super little wagon fillers but my Little Mo always helps me choose my DT image on a Sunday morning for my make and this week he chose Belated Birthday and Peeking Sloth! well, I couldn't resist popping Peeking Sloth in that little wagon for a lazy Free Ride!!!!

I absolutely love how it turned out!!! I used my shiny brand new Mama Elephant Wiper Surprise die and Mama Elephant Mini Everyday messages stamp set for that super sweet little pop up surprise sentiment! I LOVE it!!

The Lawn Fawn Puffy Clouds die was just perfect not only to cut that fun skyline but also because I could use the cut edge of the cardstock left from cutting the cloud to do my distress ink sky!! wahoooooooooo! it's like 2 uses in one die!!!!!
....I still can't get over how cute the sloth looks just chillin' on his ride!!! I love him so much!!!!

And how does it work??? well, just like this.....

We have had the best family day today. It was Nanna's 90h birthday meal and it was so lovely to spend some time with everyone, plus, I got to see my big boy too so that meant all 3 of my gorgeous boys together and nothing makes my daft Mamma heart happier than that.

Thank you for popping in, huge hugs Lou xxx

Awesome Tilda!!!!

Hello everyone!

Thank crunchie it's Friday!!! I'm ready for the weekend this week! sometimes I just want to curl up in that family bubble! we have a big birthday celebration for Scott's lovely Nanna this weekend and I'm really looking forward to a catch up with everyone.

And onto my make for today!! I wanted to make a little encouragement card. Luckily, there was just the die I needed, the Roxstamps special die- Awesome and the Tilda, Magnolia stamps Fixer Upper Tilda stamp that would fit just perfectly on top of what my little Lou mind had planned!!! yey!!!

Now, I LOVE paper piecing and the papers in the Maja Designs Denim Girls 6x6 pad are just spot on perfect for stamped images clothing. The pattern on the paper I chose for this one is the most delicately beautiful little flowers.

And who could resist using the stunning little Magnolia Bon Voyage Dragonflies dies? I never can! They are just the right mix of pretty to lift a blank space on your card without shouting hey look at me!!! I adore them!! I cut 2 from the scraps I had in my paper stack.

Let's just take a closer look at the fabulous Roxstamps special die- Awesome. Did you know that these were made just for Swedish housecrafts store? I think its just fabulous. I love that curvy text so much. I cut it in kraft cardstock them mounted it up on foam pads to make it pop, then I carefully did the same with the teeny negative cuts to make the word whole. I really love how it came out.

A Darling card..........

Images- John Darling.
Good Morning all!

I'm in with my little Monday Dream Team post and today I have a super simple but sweet little make.

Ever since the Darlings hit the shop I have been wanting to merge them and on Saturday I finally got 5 minutes to myself to do so. Ooooooh it was such a sweet moment!!!

They all come in the correct proportions of size in .png format so all you need to do is arrange them how you want and hey presto! you have a Darling line up!!!

I also added 2 teeny little stars to the right.... you know why right??

and I couldn't resist a little play on words for the inside too....

Thank you for popping in, Huge hugs Lou xx

Travel Theme with Allsorts challenge blog!!

Morning everyone!!! I'm a bit excited today!! Swedish Housecrafts is sponsoring a challenge this month and I had the greatest honour of being asked by our lovely Lynn to take part as a guest over on the Allsorts challenge blog and the theme is Travel.

I knew just the papers I wanted to use for my little card! The Pion Designs The World Await 6x6 complete collection is just stunning and even better, it has these stunning little images on one of the sheets that I thought would be just perfect as Tilda's 'photo's' taken on her phone while she travels!!

I took the time to distress and mount each layer of design papers and images onto some Crafters Companion Neenah desert storm A4 to really make the layers stand out from each other.

The little 'photo's' are popped out on some foam squares so they really stand atop of the rest. I love how that bit came out in the finished card so much.

I think this is my favourite design paper in the whole collection, I love those little airships and balloons on it...

Well, that's me all waffled out for the day!! thank you so much for peeking in on me. We are on a mission to get Mo a new raincoat today as his is a bit too small finally after 2 years!!! lol! He has been squeezing into it all week with the bad weather but it's rather cosy over a shirt and blazer and he can't cope with that feeling so a new one is needed!!

Have a magical day all, huge hugs Lou xxxx

Bronte Kisses.....

Hi everyone!

I'm in with my Dream Team post for you today. I fancied stepping away from the norm and doing a bit of a sympathy/understanding card for my make this week due to seeing that one of the lovely craft shops I buy my bits from had lost her mum and I had a lovely new center picture window card die to play with again I bought from them too so went for using 2 of my favourite images, Bronte Kisses and Life is like a balloon.

This is the outside of the card....

The gorgeous papers are the Bronte Design Papers. Maurie added them to the store for you because...well...I begged!! he he!!!

They really are just the sweetest papers. I used the pink toned one for the outside and inside of my card. Here's a closer look at inside...

and a little video of how teeny and just darn cute it is!!! .....

Tiddly Inks challenge #226....All Squared Up.

Its the first Tuesday of the month means a super fun new Tiddly challenge and this month we are getting our shape on!! this month's challenge is...

All Squared Up!!
So, think squared design papers like gorgeous ginghams, square-shaped cards/creations, square matting etc..

(**remember...We love to see any new creation, a card, 3D project, journal page etc
but you MUST use a Tiddly Inks stamp or image **)

So, for mine, I used the stunning Mini and Many Friends clear stamp set.

We have just got home from a wonderful 5-day break to Disneyland Paris and I wanted to make my husband a little card to say thank you that I can hide in his work bag for him to find when he gets to work tomorrow. We had the most magical time and Mo loved it. He had some panicky moments but he did better than we ever thought he would and utterly loved collecting his little pins with his spending pennies, collecting the little coin souvenirs and looking for hidden mickeys everywhere.

I wanted a travel kind of theme in my papers and a lot of love because we seriously had the best time!!

Thank you for popping in, huge hugs Lou xxx
