Stamping Bella Tiny Townie Unicorn...

Papers- Basic Grey Two Scoops 6x6 pad.

Coloured with Distress inks.

Morning all!

It's another Little Mo sleep in morning so I've had time to get the washer on and hit my little blog!! wahooooo!!!

Though in all honesty, that little guy can sleep in as good as his little body needs. We are so proud of him. Yesterday h had his interview at college for the next course he would like to step up to. He was nervous but he did really well and the course tutor came to talk to us afterwards. Mo had said he wanted to do Level 1 Animal Management but she said his grades were so amazing he could do Level 3 right away. She said he had spoken really well in his interview and explained that while he is very good at the academic side of things, he is really bad socially and didn't think he would manage Level 3 so she suggested he do the Level 2 if he would like to!!! oh my! he was just thinking Level 1 so the choice of Level 2 is just amazing! So he had an unconditional offer for both Level 1 and Level 2 and the lovely course tutor is going to send him some Level 2 example work to try to see if he feels comfortable with Level 2 before making a final decision because she thinks he'd be really good at it!!

Anyways! enough proud mamma waffling on! time to chat about my make for today!

I just couldn't resist the new Stamping Bella Tiny Townie Unicorn. She is just too sweet. Stamped out with my staz on jet black, I got to work with colouring the background first. It was a lot of splodging and spreading out of the inks but it looked so magical when I had done! then I got to work on colouring my little unicorn girl up. She is such a joy to colour she really is.

The papers are from one of my very, very stroke only because there are no more Basic Grey 6x6 pads!! I have had these pads since waaaaaaay back when I first started crafting and they are still the most beautiful ones. I will be genuinely sad when they run out because they are not all in digital format at Snap, Click, Supply yet and of course, Two Scoops is one of the ones they don't have in!

Right, I'm going to dive into the cinnamon buns Scott has just baked ( well, not like baker style though, he bought them when we went to IKEA for our wardrobe drawers last week from the freezers in the marketplace bit so it's more a just put them in the oven job!! lol!!!) and have a cuppa.

Have a fabulous weekend everyone!! Huge hugs Lou xxx

  1. Cinnamon buns and college courses. Sounds like a great day. Brag on your son often when they are doing well and they do something you're proud of. You and your husband are an essential part of that growing up years and it makes a difference when you show interest in what they do and how you nurture them. I've noticed that about you and your spouse in reading your blog over the past several years. Our grandchildren took college courses during high school (one is in her senior year) and the other should graduate college after 3 years. All because they worked hard and took some college courses in high school. I hope your area offers that. It has saved a lot of money. They believe in working and not having any student debt. So far the oldest has paid for his through scholarships and work and monetary gifts that he's saved. I want to shout out to the world how proud I am.

BTW.............such a cute card. I almost forgot it. Talking about children and oh I could just smell the cinnamon buns. [Bunny]

  2. First, congratulations to Mo on rocking that interview! He should definitely be very proud of himself. Your make today is awesome, too. That little unicorn girl is the sweetest. And I love the sentiment--it's totally true.
