Tiddly Inks challenge 131...Celebrate!!

Image- Berrylicious.
Doo Hickey heart branch.
Morning peeps!!!
I am getting my post written in between calming down a panicky Mo as he has some blood tests to get done up at the hospital today and he is not loving the thought at all. We have been up in the night with him worrying, which disturbed a little bit sore from being spayed furball princess who decided she needed snuggles too so we look like zombies  but the sun is shining (..and i have squirted some Bachs rescue remedy into Mo's mouth in abundance and Poppy has had her pawsy peep calpol....) so hopefully they will be a squidge calmer soon!!! anyway.......
Its time for a new challenge over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blogToday, we have a very simple challenge...

Any celebration will do, celebrate birthdays, babies, graduations, friends, family or pets!  Celebration can include just about anything, so go through your stash and see what you need. Have a wedding coming up or a baby shower?  Now you have the perfect excuse to make those much needed cards for this time of year!  Remember, use a Tiddly Inks image and link up a new project.

I just had to get my 3D fun head on again and go for another one of the cute little bags I love to make. I decided to return to just decorating the inside of this one and not adding an extra card because I love the surprise of the bag being the card and it always looks so cute inside.
Here it is all closed up.....

And here is a little closer look at the center and verse part..

The handle in the bag is just perfect for hanging on a hook to display it.

Right, off to get a cup of tea and some paracetemol for me, my head is starting to hurt some! Its been a funny couple of weeks! Dad is doing so well. He has been for a couple of walks around the village to get his newspapers and is resting nicely. It has all been a bit of a big shock for him as he lost his own Dad through a heart attack so he has been a little reflective and worried but I am sure he is starting to feel a little more relaxed and at ease now.

Have a fab day everyone, huge hugs for you all

Brynn has a baby shower....

Enamel dot-MME Record it Charmed.
Coloured with promarkers.
Hi everyone!

I just had to get this  Uptown Girl inked up this weekend, she is just such a sweetheart.

I went for a good and big 8x8 card for this one because so I could use some nice big cuts of the Echo Park bundle of joy mini kit and its stickers!! oooh its so gorgeous!! I paper pieced her dress up and coloured the rest of her with my promarkers then it was just a case of choosing which couple of stickers I wanted.

I stamped the sentiment that comes with her on a scrap of the pink and then spent some time carefully die cutting my other scraps to get a lovely little assortment of fishtail banners I could layer up at the side.

I added a little enamel dot onto the edge because they do just make fabulous faux brads! they look awesome with none of that poke it through and fold the backs down palava!!!

I will be at work when this little post goes up and then catching some zzzz's all day so I will pop in on you all later!!

Thank you for popping in!

Weddings are just my cup of tea..lots of piccies!!

Teapot- Tea for you and me from SVG cuts.
Stamp- Wedding Couple from LOTV.
Hiyah Peeps!

Well today was a funny old day! wonderful day with Mo and he loved catching up with his little buddies outside and had his hair trimmed (...well..when i say trimmed I mean more that he let Cheryl 'tickle' the ends with her scissors!! see he is on a mission to grow it long!) but he did have his fringe cut and Cheryl thinned it out with her 'magic' scissors so he isn't too hot. And I got to work on this pretty teapot for a friend who is going to a wedding soon.

And then my mum rang to say my Dad had been rushed to the hospital from the Dr's surgery as he had had a heart attack. He is ok now. The bloods they took are showing the enzymes and the ECG for heart attack so he has been admitted for a couple of days and is waiting for an angiogram to see what damage there is and what they need to do regarding treatment. So I am hugely thankful tonight that he is ok and I have had some truly wonderful messages on my facebook that have made me feel very uplifted. I am always a happy bunny anyway but some love is always most appreciated when you have had a bit of a shock.

So tonight I got on with trying to keep busy and finished off my little teapot. I seriously needed the fun that this gave me tonight. The cutfile is just amazing. Its from SVG cuts and I linked it up there under the top piccy. I wanted to add a little something special for the couple getting married though so inside the lid I stuck my little stamp....

he he he! too cute right?!! and when you pull it all out you can see the little pennants I made with the scraps of patterned paper I had left.
Here's the little teapot lid bit all on its own...
and here's the little couple a little closer in. You can just about make out the bling and shine.
I added a little lace to the bottom of the teapot and lid and then die cut some rolled daisies, butterflies and magnolia heart swirl branches to decorate the lid.

Right then, I am off to bed! I need to put today to bed!! thank you for popping in on me

Huge hugs Lou xxx

Poppy-licious....

Morning everyone!!

I hope you are all waking up to a wonderful wednesday. I am! I feel sore from yesterday's dentists torture but its the school holidays and I am loving soaking up some Mo time.

Todays share is one of the new Tiddly Inks images that were released yesterday, Poppy-licious.

On the day I coloured this little cutie up it was Autism Day so for my little Mo I coloured her up in blue and I love how she came out. All I needed to do was add some yummy papers and a little ribbon and bow. I glued a little heart onto the top of the bow just to finish it off.

I hope you all have a great day

too cute- ilicious.......

Image- Cute-ilicious from Tiddly Inks.
Hi everyone!! I am back!!!

Now, I am so pleased I can type this and not talk it as I have just got back from the dentists after having a filling and I am all numb! I had to have 2 syringes of anesthetic into my gum as it was a wisdom tooth at the back and was real sensitive so there will be some straw drinking and no eating for a while in this house! Mo however thinks it is hilarious and is giggling at me everytime I try to answer him!!

So on an uber happy note there are new spring girls in the shop!! I am so excited because they are just sooo gorgeous. I am going to share one make today and another on friday and if I can squeeze in a little crafty time today there might even be all 3!! so here they are...
Did you like the way I linked all those little piccies in for ya?!! just the be helpful....!!!!

But seriously...How cute are they?!!! I love them!! so I got all girly and pretty with this card.

I am popping my little springy girl make in the Spring has Sprung challenge over on the Papertake Weekly challenge blog.

wow...its so hard to drink a cup of tea and swallow it when half your lips and half your tongue is numb......

Thank you for popping back in
Huge hugs Lou xx

Matchbox Accordian album fun!!!

Cheery Lynn Matchbox ( large).

Morning everyone!
Lou in again with a little bit of an experiment!!!! Tracy sent me this awesome Cheery Lynn Matchbox die in my DT box and I was so excited when I saw it! (....so was my little Mo...he had me make him 2 before I even had chance to do one for me!!!!!).

So I decided to make a matchbox accordion album. This kind of thing is a bit new to me but I still had the Prima Free Spirit papers sat on my table in front of me from another make so I decided to get on the task!! the little sentiments sheet was screaming use me so I snipped it up and popped one on each part of the album.

So here it is all tucked out of the box....
Now taking a photo of this was easier said than done!!! (...think Lou standing on chair...Lou crouching down..Lou wobbling sideways with her little lights from her light tent...Lou swearing some......) but I hope you can see just how much fun they are!!

I am already busy on my next one!! he he he!!!

Thank you for popping in on me

A little bit of love.......

Image- Pocket Valentine.
Papers- Prima Princess.

Hi everyone!

I am late posting my make today because we have just had the most awesome day watching Mo at his school play. We were super lucky as we got to go twice! Mo felt he needed us there and lets be honest..who wouldn't want to see that cutie do his thing twice?!!! he was so brave and he sat so beautifully waiting for his part which was quite near the end! he kept telling us over the past few weeks while they have been practicing ..

" I can't get up early mummy, I am the surprise person who is losted"

So cute!! all the children did so very well, there will be a lot of proud mummy's and daddy's tonight and I can't even begin to tell you how hard Mo's teacher and her TA have worked on the play, they are amazing.

When we first sat down in the audience all the children kept coming upto me in little batches to say thank you for their chocolate treats I made. It made me feel like a million dollars...but I think I turned crimson in my cheeks too!! lol!! Mo saved me with a snuggle!!

I made this card with Pocket Valentine from the magazine is called Complete Cardmaking Magazine and it was issue 47. It may still be available as a back issue HERE if you look but I am not sure.

A bit of yummy paper (..oh my..this paper is soooooo yummy!!!!) and a couple of flowers were all she needed, she is just so sweet in herself!!

Thank you for peeking

Yarghhh!! piratey chocklits!!!

Box- Skull Topper box from Samantha Walker.
Chocklits...made by me!
Morning peeps!!

well yesterday my day was full of making chocklits and little boxes for them to go in for Mo's class at school.

They are doing their school play today, Pirates of the Curry bean, and they have all been working so hard on it I wanted to make them all a fun little something to celebrate.

I got the little box from the silhouette store, its a no glue one so it was a case of cut 20 and then pop them altogether.

Then it was onto the chocolate! oooooh that was the fun bit!! I needed 90 little pirate themed chocoloates so my little pirate ice cube tray from Mutiny bay at Alton Towers came in super handy!!! (...I actually made more then 90 but some may of fallen foul to quality control..........)

Right, I had better get my butt into gear. We are watching Mo's play twice today! in the morning and this evening. I have conned him into the evening performance by telling him its not really that late because the clocks went forward!! lol!!

Thank you for popping in
