Hello peeps!!!
Well, its definitely white outside my little craft room!! When I came out it was just starting to sprinkle with snow. It lasted a good 40 mins and its settled quite nicely!!
And this is what I came out to create!! isn't she a cutie?! she is Check my list twice from Tiddly Inks (and if you peek on the top of my sidebar you will see Christy is having a bit of a white out over in the Tiddly Inks store, there are fabby savings so its well worth a visit!!!)
I coloured her up with my promarkers ( berry red and crimson for her dress, ice grey 3 and 4 for her boots, sandstone and buttercup hair, vanilla and soft peach for her face and pastel beige for her huge list!!!!
I made this envelope style card in my cricut design studio over a couple of years ago and I still love it. The tags, liner and little letter are all cricut too.The gingham is my fav again from my funkyhand cd, Colour Me happy, contented coffee colourway this time I think!! The 'letter' part I embossed with my cuttlebug and the script folder and the writing on the tags is from my computer and good old word!!!! Martha punched branches, card candy and a bit of frayed burlap distressing on everything too for good measure!!!
Our car is playing up a bit today so I am hoping I will be able to start it nicely in the morning from under its snowy duvet to get Mo to school and me to work!!! lol!!! My friends at work live around 40 mins away and its a bit heavier with them so please keep them in your thoughts for safe journey's tomorow morning too.
I am going in now for a nice cuppa and a bit of TV before I go to bed so don't forget to go over to Tiddly Inks for a little retail therapy!!! lol!!!
Thankyou for popping in on me!!

Snowy sunday and SU santa's!!
Morning Peeps!!
It is still nice and snowy here, the sun is shining so it may melt a bit but we are forecast a little more later tonight.
A couple of weeks ago at cricut club my lovely friend ,Heather, lent me her stampin up santa to stamp a few times for some christmas cards for my Aunt Audrey.
I stamped them in brown memento ink and they came out so beautifully. I wanted to keep the vintage kind of look so there was no colouring for this santa, just a bit of frayed burlap distress inking around the edge to match it all in the brown vintage effect.
The pretty embossed brown paper on the card is a sort of browny bronzey colour and I got it when I went to the kanban factory open day last year, its really is yummy.
I made some holly with my martha stewart punch and some red card candy.
I think my Aunty will love them. She only wanted 6 but I made her 7 for an extra one!!!!
The little firplace next to it is our christmas ornament!! it is my favourite as i love the little hanging stockings with our names on! its really cute.
I am hoping that with its monochrome look this card will be ok for the Allsorts challenge blogs Monochrome challenge. (If its not quite right ladies I won't be offended xxxx)
So Mo and I are just sitting on the settee with some yummy grapes waiting for a little visit from nannie and grandad and our frozen food from asda (.......which didn't arrive with the rest of the shopping last night, grrrrr!!).
Have a super snowy sunday!!!
Hugs Lou xxxxx

The tree is up!!!
Hello peeps!
No card today but I just had to share this gorgeous piccy of my three little christmas tree decorators!!!!
Mo always shouts "CHEEEEESE" for photos and this one caught him half cheese!!! lol!!!!
Today could not of started any better for Mo!!! His big brother ryan was here last night and ryan's little sister Mackenzie came to play for a few hours this morning. Mo thinks that Mackenzie is his cousin and ryan's mum is his aunty!!!! we leave it like that for now as it is sooo much easier than explaining all the step family bits!!!! lol!!! Mo and Mackenzie only have 5 months between their birthdays and Mo loves her to bits.
After spending almost an hour playing doctors in the little den I made for them (with fairy lights for lighting!!) and playing out in the snow we got busy putting the tree together for them to decorate. They did an awesome job! Scott and I just opened the box of trimmings and let them do their own thing on the tree whilst listening to Mickey's christmas cd, they loved it.
The lights don't show up in the picture but they do look pretty!!!
Then a lovely treat for me, Fi picked me up and w went on a little road trip to Jo's new crafty shop, Let's Create, over in conningsby. It was a lovely surprise as Fi needed a little escape from the house of sickly boys and I just had to keep her company!!!!! lol!!!! I picked up some lovely bits including some fabby hunky dory circular domes which i am going to play with later!! ooooh!!!
Now Scott and I are just waiting for our asda delivery so we can have a cuppa!!! we ran out of milk making hot chocolate for little people today after oodles of playing in the snow! Ryans football match for tomorrow has been cancelled so the boys are hoping for more snow overnight!!!
Well, off to my frosty craft room to do some colouring now!!

LOTV glitter and glitz challenge.
Good afternoon peeps!!
I am sat warming up with a lovely mug of hot vimto and my blanket snuggled around me!! its freezing here!!! Jack frost had been dancing around in the night and we woke up to pretty sparkly fields and paths which Mo loved and to top it off the man on the radio in the car on the way to school said it is going to snow tomorrow!!! how exciting can one day get for a little Mo!!! lol!!!!
So onto my post of the day!!!
This is my cute new Rosie with presents LOTV stamp that I just had to use for a friends birthday which is tomorrow (mmmmmm...said friend can just forget about seeing this post until the postie brings her her card....though if it hasn't plopped through the letterbox in the morning said friend can just click on this post!!!!!! romfl!!!)
Its a Glitter and Glitz theme over on the LOTV challenge blog so I am sharing this little card in their challenge this week.
I am always sort of sad when I try to take piccies of glitter and sparkle because it never seems to show up :( and on this one my diamond stickles looks kind of yellow but it is gorgeous in real life!!! I have taken a couple of extra piccies incase you can just about catch it in there!!!!
I saw rosie in this red dress made ladybird look when I went to the NEC in birmingham and I loved it. I wish I knew who had made the rosie card so I could thank them properly for the inspiration so if one of the LOTV girls happens to be reading this please give the person who did that card at the NEC a huge squeeze from me xxxxxx
Here's a close up of little Rosie to try and show the glitter and glitz a little more!!! its so hard to take piccies of bling!!! Don't you just want to snuggle her up!!!

Now bring us some figgy pudding!!!!!!!
Lol!!! morning peeps!!! its tiddly tuesday again and you all know what that means!!!!! yummy new images in the tiddly inks shop and an exciting new challenge over on the challenge blog!!!
I just had to snap up Pinky Pudding for my little easel card. I love Christy gothic girls and Pinky
was my first ever Tiddly buy so when Pinky Pudding came up she just had to fall into my basket and come and live with me!!!!
I used a bit more of my yummy red gingham paper from Funkyhand's Colour Me Happy cd to pop behind the yummy looking figgy pudding from the Pinky Pudding paper set that I printed out three times and popped out a bit with a of silicone to make it look even more yummy!!! The holly paper looks just perfect on the bottom of the easel with the SU punched scallops, the sentiment is LOTV.
Here's a sideview!! that way you can see the popping outness of it!!! romfl!!!!
Pinky herself was coloured up with my promarkers.
I used:
clothes- berry red and crimson with a touch of holly and grass on her tights and holly leaves.
skin- vanilla and pastel pink.
Hair- tan, sandstone and buttercup with some yumy gold at you spica highlights!!
The white bits of her santa dress are actually gorgeous fine glitter but it was hard to get a piccy in our grim UK weather!!!
So what do you need to do to join in with the fun over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog??!!
Use your favourite holiday/christmas Tiddly Inks images to create your card for the season!!!!
Since all that takes time, we have decided to make this a 2-week challenge again. Your christmassy creations will be due on December 6th at 10 PM---that is an extra week. So have fun and I can't wait to see what you all come up with after the yummy creationn from the fall princess challenge!

Funky festive Tilda!!!
Good afternoon peeps!!!
Its another grey, dreary and wet one here in Lincolnshire today so I have been busy making bits and bobs!! I am absolutely shattered as little mo has been rather poorly with his asthma this week so I am functioning in zombie mode!!!
I have been busy pootling along doing my christmas cards for the lovely girls at work though and this is one of 8 I made on tuesday and wednesday. I saw a card very similar to this one in clare's shop, Cloud Nine, over in horncastle and I just had to have a go at it.
I knew I had the most gorgeous and festive coloured red gingham paper on my Colour Me Happy cd from Funkyhand. There are a couple of shades of red gingham on the cd ( along with some other very gorgeous gingham colours of course!!) but this little red one I used can be found in the Blissful Baby section of the cd. I simply trimmed it down and inked up the edges with my red versacolour cube.
I decided I needed to add some yummilicious magnolia swirls around the edges of mine and used my fabby new lacey circle nesties for the sentiment.
Tilda is coloured with promarkers.
Hair- sandstone and tan.
Clothing- berry red, crimson and satin.
skin- vanilla and pastel pink ( boo hoo hoo though as my vanilla promarker has now runneth out...!)
and a tiny squidge of highlighting with my white gel pen.
A bit of lovely red satin ribbon and martha doily hearts to sit on and Tilda was festively happy!!!!!
Tonight I am hoping to get Mo to stay awake until 6pm, cross your fingers for me peeps!!!! he has managed to just about stay awake until 5:30pm 2 nights in a row so we are pushing for a bit more tonight!! lol!!!! ( bet he still gets up at 5am though!!!!!).
He is sat playing with his shlech knights and a cardboard box made into a fort at the moment!!!
Right off for a womble around blog land now. Enjoy the rest of your weekends peeps!!!

Morning peeps!!!
Well little mo is watching Handy Manny so I have 5 mins to pop a post on my bloggy and join in with Julia's superb WOYWW, pop over to Julia's blog if you are not sure what it is but I love wombling over to everybodies crafty places, my only shame is never ahving enough time to comment on everybodies awesome sharings, though I do go visit all the linkies.
So to my lovely messy desk for today!!! woo hoo I finally started on some of my christmas cards. I saw a card that my crafty friend clare had made in her shop and I was so inspired by it that I had to have a go, mine of course is a little different as I just had to use my yummy new lacey circles for my sentiment and have a few magnolia swirls in there too, will take a piccy of my card later when the sun decides to come up!!!!!
I am so chuffed with it because I had my trusty Funkyhand Colour Me Happy cd for the gorgeous red gingham paper. I love gingham and it looks so festive and sweet with my little tilda stamp. If any of you already have it, I used the red gingham from the blissful baby colourway.
The crazy head photo on my back wall is of my little nephew Rufus who is 3 tomorrow! I made a card for my mum and dad to give him with the same photo!! Whenever there is a camera about he loves to get close and shout "cheeeeeeeese" into the lense! My super fabby hubby Scott managed to click this piccy of him doing it!! I love it! it reminds me of the cute little big head dogs you get on coffee mugs!!
And if anyone who knows me well saw the first piccy and thought wow, Lou's desk looks pretty neat today.................here's the rest of it!!!!!!!
I need to make a small squidgeon of space on this desk for my big sis sam to sit in tonight!! she designs he own range of digi stamps, Lilyboo designs over on cuddly buddly, and she wants to make a start on her christmas cards tonight....mmmmm where shall I put her?!!!
Oooh and I almost forgot!! I am so chuffed because I got an email from domonique over at wikio top blogs to let me know I was on their listings at number 246!!!! ( yup I know I am a long way down but woohhooooo!! i am on there!!!! lol!!!!)
So today I am going to work in my pj's!!! we are having a bit of a fun week to fundraise for children in need. I am soooo comfy in my pj's so I hope I manage to stay awake all day!!!

Scott's birthday card.
Hello everyone! Happy sunday!!!
Today is my amazing husband's birthday and this is the card I made for him yesterday at cricut club.
I knew how I wanted to layout my card when I got there but then Fi took this gorgeous brown paper (from an amazon wrapped parcel!) and said it was going spare if anyone needed a little...ooooh yes please!!! it looks great with the red coredinations card I used for my heart.
I hadn't taken any buttons with me so Heather came to my rescue with her pots of lovely embellies. This little brown button was sat looking at me when I opened the pot!!!
I distressed the edges with a bit of frayed burlap too.
The sentiment is hero arts and of course a bit of martha and pleated brown paper to go with it too.
Got to go party now with my nephew!!
huge hugs

LOTV's challenge 73- Anything goes!
Morning peeps!!
whoo its a blustery day here today!! the wind is whistling away at a zillion miles an hour!!!
This cute little christmas card is for the LOTV challenge blog.
This week they are celebrating the release of the New Lili of the Valley stamps “Party Girls” and “ Tea and Chat” and the 3 Sentiments Collections and it great fun because they are combining the Challenge with a Blog Hop. Just for this week you can use any make of stamp or digi for your project and join in the Challenge and the theme is ANYTHING GOES. The LOTV DT have been very busy making the most gorgeous cards for inspiration so pop along to their blogs to check them out. I have definitely seen many more stamps I need now!!! romfl!!!
Well I just had to use my gorgeous new little Skating Along stamp that I treated myself to a little while ago. I coloured her up last week but I have been taking a long time deciding on the background papers!!!!! These ones are nitwits and the lovely swirls are a magnolia stamp.
Here's a bit of a close up!!! She has a gentle bit of glittering on her trims. I made the little christmassy flowers with my SU boho flowers punch and some seedy beads, I think they look a little like poinsettia's!!! The sentiment is LOTV too!!
It had to be pink as the little 8 year old little lady it is for loves pink, dogs and shopping!!!!!! ( ...Lou hopes the little lady in question is not sneaking a peek at her blog right now......lol!!!)
OOOOh and before I forget!!!! here is what is sitting on the back of my little card!!! This is the stamp that the very lovely Vicky led me astray to buy from bunny zoe's!!! How cool is it?!!!!
Well, I must go now and take myself to the LOTV shop!! can you tell I wrote my post super quick to get there faster?!!! lol!!!! thankyou for popping in on me!!

LOTV new hat sepia card!!
Hello peeps!!!!!
I am having a very busy week this week and my throat is sooo sore!! but luckily I have blogland to cheer me up and Enfys's fabulous colouring sepia images with promarkers got me all inspired and raring to go tonight!!! Thanks En, you are a complete star for taking the time to do all these fab videos hun xxxx ( don't forget to enter En's blog candy for promarkers too!!)
So I didn't have the cute christmas LOTV Enfys used but I did have this little new hat one all stamped up in a pile of images. She came for a ride with me in the car and my little case of promarkers so I could colour whilst I waited for Mo to come out of school.
I used satin, pastel beige, and sandstone for this little cutie as I don't have cinnamon yet but she still came out fab. Then she got a little Antique Linen distress ink dusting and cut out with my super yummy new lacey circle nestie ( oh man I love these!!).
The papers are Laura Ashley Tradition and some gold paper from my stash. I made the cute little flowers using my stampin up boho punch with some Martha branches too.
Well I had better pootle off and take my big sis home, we have had our little crafty night tonight!!
Thank you for popping in on me!!

Tiddly Inks Challenge 29- Pretty fall princesses ( and princes!!)
Its Tiddly Tuesday again peeps and this week we have an awesome challenge for you over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog to have fun joining in with!!!
We are soaking up a bit of royalty and enjoying the beautiful autumnal colours that are around.
So get your favourite Tiddly Inks princess, prince or queen and create your project using fall colours and a background (your background can be non Tiddly Inks but please remember to use a member of the Tiddly Inks royal family for your character image!!)
And whats even more exciting is that you get 2 weeks to create your royal masterpiece this time so make sure you link your challenge entry over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog by 10pm (CST) on Monday 22nd November.
The Tiddly Inkers have rocked the challenge once again so go don't forget to pop over and get yourself inspired before you start!!!
So, onto my little offering of Tiddly gorgeousness!!! I used the new Dream Castle for my background and the very gorgeous Katrina . I coloured up my castle and Katrina using my promarkers and gave them a good old rub with my embossing tool to give them a bit of life. I printed out my dream castle twice so I could pop my turrets out, I think they came out cute!!!
I am very lucky when it comes to Autumnal papers as all I needed to do was open up my faithful Funkyhand Dreams Come True cd . It has its own little Autumn style colourway and this beautiful floaty swirly paper fit for a princess called out to me and shouted "ooh pick me,pick me!!" in a donkey from Shrek voice!! ( ....lou wonders if she has slept enough this week.....!!lol!!)
and a lovely green one from the same cd to make the grass and slider tag part of my card.

My sentiment is one from my making memories haul from TKMaxx a few weeks ago! I bagged a few sheets of these gorgeous clear sentiment stickers and the wish one was perfect for this card. I found a brown little rose and punched out some martha branches to go with it which I inked with a bit of orange, along with the rest of the edges of my card and tag.
I had so much fun making this card!! can you tell?!!!!!!
Oooh and if anyone loves this card design as much as I do its a surprise slider and here's a link to the tutorial over on splitcoast stampers.
I can't wait to see everyone's creations of royal gorgeousness!!
Well, I really must get ready for work and get in some snuggle time with Mo and a book before we go to school. I am constantly surprised by my little man at minute, he brought home his new books today and I opened one up thinking "omgosh, this ones a toughy" and he only struggled on the pronunciation of one name!! well done Mo!!!

I coloured her up in some christmassy colours to match my teeny tiny bells and added glitter to all the little places on my cute avenger that would be white and fluffy. I have had this box of bells for 3 years now and they just last and last!! I got them from Yellow Moon and they are just so pretty, they even jingle!!!! awwwww!!
I made her little sack look full of fabulous toys by embsossing it with my embossing tool on a foam mat.
I still have achey legs from walking around the NEC, I had such a lovely day wombling around with Fi and Margaret and got some lovely bits but man am I pooped out today!!! I am taking myself off to have a lovely soak in the bath in a minute before we go to fetch Mo from school.
Thank you for popping in on me, I do love visitors, Tea and biccies anyone?!!!!!

Hello peeps!!!!
It has been such a long time since I actually took part in Julia's fabulous WOYWW. I Love this idea Julia had, its so nice to go and look every week and womble along to every one's fabulous work spaces but I haven't had time to leave any comments so I am rectifying that today!!!
So this is the doom that I can call my workdesk today......I am more than a little embarrassed to say it has looked like this for 3 weeks now...... there's probably mice living in there too now!!! romfl!!!
(the piccy is a little dark as it was taken at 6:30am this morning but the lovely mr.blogger wouldn't upload piccies this morning, grrrrrrrr!!!)
The teeny tiny space I have been working in, it may be small but I seem to be doing ok creatively in it!!! you can just about see the debris from my DT cards this week!! My Get Funky Tag it challenge card is laying down on the top of one pile ( scroll down my blog a couple of posts if you need a nosey at it!) and my Tiddly Inks color combo challenge card is kind of laying on its side...(thats what happens when you sort of throw them out of the teeny tiny working space to make room for some more creating!!!!!)

Tiddly Inks challenge 28- Olive, Purple and Mustard.
Good Morning everyone!!
Well fall is on us now and the delicious colours of autumn are really showing through on the trees and landscape here in Lincolnshire, which is fantastic as the challenge over on TiddlyInks challenge blog is a colour combo this week of Olive, Purple and Mustard.
You have until 10pm (CST) next monday night to enter using a Tiddly Inks image and the colour combo on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog , so go and see what the fabby DT girls have been creating this week!
I decided to use the gorgeous Tiddly Inks Happy Day Bouquet for my DT card as I wanted to colour each of the bigger flower heads in one of the challenge colours. I also found some of my yummy making memories papers with the colour combo in too! Yey!!! I love the Happy Day Bouquet as it can be used for so many occasions!
I added some yummy olive and mustard chalk inks to the edges of my little easel card and papers to bring out a little more colour.
I made my little sentiment pieces on my computer and backed them with the same paper. I popped my bouquet and sentiment out on some thin foam squares and the card was done.
I was so inspired by the fall challenge that I jst had to get my blog background changed into something a bit more autumny!!!!
And this picture below.......well this is what happens when you sneeze when you are taking a piccy of your DT card!! it has never happened to me before and I thought it was funny so just had to share it with you all!!!!
Well, must go and get ready for work really.......though a duvet day would be much nicer!!!!

Get Funky November challenge- TAG IT!!!!
Good morning peeps!!
Oh my goodness, its november already!! This year seems to be just whizzing by!!
I am nervous yet excited this morning as it is my first time at setting the challenge over on the Get Funky challenge blog!!!
and here it is...............................
All you need to do is have fun creating a TAG using your favourite funky hand papers. You can create any kind of tag or project including a tag for this challenge!!
The other thing to remember is that your project will only be eligible for the prize if you use at least one Funky Hand product - there are LOADS of papers and extras to choose from so that bit won't be difficult!
Click HERE for a quick link to the Funky Hand website.
Here's how to be in with a chance of winning this month's £20.00 voucher to spend in the Funky Hand on-line shop.
1. Add your 'TAG IT' project to your blog,
2. Don't forget to say which Funky Hand product(s) you've used
3. Come back before midnight on Tuesday 30th November (UK time) and add your challenge entry to our little inlinkz gadget at the bottom of this post!! easy peasy!!
For my little ship card I cut a tag on my cricut in both normal and shadow function and covered the bottom half of each tag with the goreous bubbly paper on the Funky Daze cd ( one of my absolute favs!) and the little ship digi on Dreams Come True. I love how cute the ship looks riding its wave!!!
I used more of the paper on the base of my card, adding a little EK Sucess punched border ( dotted wave) and having fun adding some inking around the edges.
I added a little co-ordinating ribbon to my tag and made a sentiment on my computer using Harrington font.
Now I know ooodles of you have fabulous Funky Hand cd's, there is even a freebie here in the store, so pop on over to the challene blog and check out the DT's awesome creations, get your tags out and Get Funky with us!!!!
